A great Disney cartoon aired its final episode one year ago. It got poorly treated by the network. Some say it got canceled, and some say it just got shortened in the 3rd season to only 3 episodes. But, luckily it got a proper ending unlike some shows. Oh, and it got great LGBTQ+ representation. I'm talking about The Owl House.
The Owl House is about Luz, a 14-year-old girl, who goes to another world, The Demon Realm, aka, The Boiling Isles. There she goes on magical adventures with her new witch friends. A with and her demon take her in.
Eda is the one that takes her in and acts like her 2nd mother while there. There is also King, who looks like an Aloran Cubone from Pokémon and Hooty, who is just a door tube owl thing. Other characters include Gus, Willow, Amity, Hunter (who is in season 2 and season 3 mostly) and so much more, including the villain, Belos.
One of the hated characters of the show, Odalia, sounds a bit like Hayley. So I'm glad I'm living with Hayley rather than Odalia. There are also more hated characters like the bully, Kikimora, and Tibbles, the piglike demon.
If you haven't seen this show, it's good. It's on Disney Plus, all 3 seasons. You don't have to be in the LGBTQ+ community to get it. I just wish Disney would have treated it better. It deserved better. Much, much, better!
Today, there was also a solar eclipse. Some parts of the US saw a partial one and some saw a total one. Mexico also got it and Canada. Some got unlucky due to the weather. The next one in the US won't be for 20 years or so, if you missed it, you have to wait a long time for the next one. And it depends on the weather too. If you can't wait, you have to go to another country. Sorry, and don't forget your special eclipse glasses, or you might go blind.
