"As you all know, our annual school dance will soon be upon us." Macao said as he was making an announcement to everyone at Lucy's school. "Two representatives will help organize the dance, and two representatives are...Lucy Heartfilia and Lyon Vastia!" Lucy and Lyon were selected to build the school dance? With those two working together, it's going to be a fun dance. "I'll let the two of you brainstorm and meet later today for what you have planned." Both of them were looking forward to this.

Lucy's Room
"Come on in, Lyon." Lucy said as she and Lyon went to Lucy's home so they could brainstorm in their room. This dance was a big deal to everyone and the two of them were glad to be the ones to put it together.
"So this is your room." Lyon said as he had a look around. "I hear a lot of things go on around here."
"Huh? What do you mean?" Lucy questioned.
"A lot of creative ideas, a few villains attacked this place, your own father became a villain here, and some plans I heard to get close to Natsu." Lyon teased with Lucy getting embarrassed.
"Oh... That stuff... Well, I'm trying to get pass all the planning." Lucy said out of embarrassment. "Speaking of creative ideas and the dance, do you want to see what I've been working on?" Lyon would love to and showed her latest plan. A fabulous dress that she hopes she can wear for the dance.
"Lucy, that's amazing. You're incredibly creative." Lyon said.
"Thanks. I'm still working on it, but it won't matter if we can't get the dance going." Lucy said as she got to work. "First, we need to find the right location. Maybe the Trocadero or Grand Palais." Lyon thought it over as he tried to find ideas for the dance's location. He looked out Lucy's window and soon spotted the perfect place.
"How about right at the Eiffel Tower?" Lyon suggested.
"That's perfect!" Lucy said. "Natsu and I can dance, have our first kiss, and everything will be magical just planned!" When she said that, Lyon smirked at her to tease her about what she just said. "I know... Things are still...up in the air about us. I just still can't work up the nerve to say how I feel to Natsu because I'm so terrified. It just has to be the right moment."
"When will that be?" Lyon questioned.
"I don't know..." Lucy said. She wants to say it, but she just can't find the courage and can't let go of the fact she wants it to feel perfect. "Anyway, we need to reserve the Eiffel Tower. Do you think there's a way we could talk to your uncle about it?"
"Good idea. Let's go talk to him." Lyon said.

The Allard Hotel
Lyon and Lucy headed over to the hotel to speak with Mayor Allard about using the Eiffel Tower for the dance. Of course, one spoiled brat is going to be there and is never happy to see Lucy or her cousin.
"What are we going to do about Taylor? You know she's just going to try and ruin everything." Lucy said.
"Don't worry. Just let me handle her. I've learned ways to deal with her while I've been staying here." Lyon said as he was confident he can handle Taylor. Lucy trusted him and the two of them went on inside. "Hello, Juan. Hi, Sophia. I hoped you enjoyed that movie, Juliet." Unlike Taylor, Lyon treats the staff of this hotel with some respect. However, trouble soon found them.
"What is the big idea bringing Heartfilia into my home?" Taylor questioned as she stood on the stairs in front of them.
"I have every right to invite Lucy here if I wanted to since I live here like you." Lyon claimed with him standing his ground.
"The only reason I tolerate you is because you are suppose to live by MY rules, and Heartfilia is not allowed to set a foot on MY stairs!" Taylor shouted with her pointing that Lucy already had one foot on the stairs. Lyon quickly fixed that as he pulled Lucy back and took her foot off the stairs.
"There you go. Problem solve." Lyon said, but Taylor did not like being outwitted.
"Daddy!" Taylor called.
"I'm sorry, but I didn't see anything, sweetie." Aidan claimed as he went along with Lyon. Taylor still didn't let this sit with her seeing her mother walking down.
"Mom! My tasteless cousin has allowed that nobody Heartfilia on my stairs." Taylor claimed, but Janet wasn't really listening or paying attention.
"Since when do you need me to torture your cousin Taylor, Lyon, or whoever." Janet said. "Besides, these stairs belong to me. Now shoo. I'm going shopping." She said as she just walked out of there with Taylor frustrated.
"Well, I suppose you're the one who should get off Aunt Janet's stairs." Lyon mocked with Taylor so annoyed that she just stormed right out of there.
"Wow. You're nicer to the staff, didn't back down to Taylor, and knew how to play her way against her." Lucy said as she was impressed someone could do that to Taylor.
"I've picked up a few things. She's just a bully, and the best way to deal with a bully is to not act scared or make them think they have power over you." Lyon claimed and then turned to his uncle. "Sorry for the unwanted trouble, Uncle Aidan. The reason we're here is to speak with Mayor Allard."
"Go on." Aidan said.
"Lucy and I were chosen to put a school dance together, and we would love to have it at the Eiffel Tower." Lyon said with Aidan finding it interesting. "I know how much you loved filming when you were younger. You could capture all the magical moments." He knew how much his uncle loved that and it all seemed to be working.
"It does sound like it could be a wonderful occasion." Aidan said. "I approve." He said with them loving it.
"And don't worry. If Taylor find out, this conversation never happened." Lyon said with a wink.
...
Natsu
Meanwhile, Natsu was at home and helping himself to a meal made by his brother with Zeref cooking once again.
"Raclette?" Invel questioned.
"Yes. I thought I try something different." Zeref said as he was still cooking. "Natsu enjoys it, and this is just simply about what Natsu wants." Natsu certainly enjoyed it. Zeref continued the act, but Invel knew better and was really watching over Natsu.
"Guess what. A dance will be happening at school. I really would like to go with Lucy." Natsu claimed.
"Really? Natsu, I thought we talked about this. Don't you think this is a little...beneath you." Zeref said with a stern look and Natsu getting frustrated
"I thought you said that this was about what Natsu wants." Invel said as he placed his hand on Natsu's shoulder. "If he wants to go to the dance with this Lucy, he should be allowed to." The two of them glared right at each other as Invel is trying to use Zeref's own words against him.
"I'll...think about it." Zeref said as that might be the best they're going to get for now.
...
Teresa
"I knew your idea wouldn't last." Zeref said as he gave Teresa a call while she was fixing herself up in a bathroom. "This Lucy Heartfilia is still trying to get close to Natsu. Natsu still holds a desire to be with her."
"No worries, Mr. Dragneel. I have a plan. Just wait and see." Teresa claimed as she ended the call and stepped out to show she was with Taylor and Samantha in her room.
"That cousin of mine is... ARGH!" Taylor complained as Samantha was doing her nails. "He is beneath me! He's suppose to be my punching bag, and yet he walks around here like he's the prince! I'm the princess around here!"
"The real problem is Lucy." Teresa claimed. "She's been giving people the courage to stand against us rather than submit to our ways. It's her we have to deal with."
"You're right. She was once the same, but now she's just an anti-bullying party pooper! I want her gone!" Taylor complained.
"I have a plan, but it's going to require both of you." Teresa claimed. Taylor liked this, but Samantha had a bad feeling. While Lucy and Lyon were planning something great for everyone, Taylor and Teresa are planning to make sure Lucy never has her magical moment. Teresa told them her plan, but Samantha was against it.
"No! I can't do that!" Samantha opposed. "Taylor, I would do anything for you, but this is too much. I can't do something like this!"
"Which is why no one will suspect you." Taylor claimed.
"But what if I get caught?" Samantha questioned.
"If you do, it just shows how incompetent you are." Taylor said. "Do you want to be demoted from being an underling?"
"No. I'm your friend." Samantha said.
"No! You're an underling! If you aren't going to do everything I say, I don't need you!" Taylor said as she practically shoved Samantha right out of her room. "Oh, and don't forget this stupid whistle of yours!" She called as she had a whistle that belonged to Samantha and threw it right at her. Samantha felt disheartened as she took her little whistle and walked away with such sadness. "I knew your plan was ridiculous."
"You need to learn to be a little more patient." Teresa said as she was expecting something to happen from this. Samantha was so upset by what Taylor said that she blew sadly into her whistle. A calling to who wants to take advantage of that sadness.

Dark Emperor
"Teresa might be a liar, but she's truthful when it comes to making a promise of negativity." Dark Emperor said as he took an etherious and turned it into a mega etherious. "Voyage, my mega etherious!" He opened a portal and his etherious flew right through it.
...
Samantha
The etherious flew over and went right into Samantha's whistle. Once that happened, she was connected to Dark Emperor.
"Ghost, I'm Dark Emperor. I can help you keep your friend. With your restored powers, you can do what she's asking without the fear of getting caught."
"Thank you, Dark Emperor." Samantha said.
"And I have something to help you." Dark Emperor. "Roar! Unify! Transfer!" He called on the lion and transferred the power of that miraculous to her. "With the lion miraculous, you can summon any object you touch with your whistle. You'll just need to use your special whistle. You'll keep your friend, but be sure to get the miraculous." Samantha agreed to the plan and became Ghost once again. After that, Teresa waited and timed it just right.
"She should be back right about..." Teresa said, and then Ghost came in walking through the door.
"What?! How did you do that?!" Taylor questioned as that was rather spooky.
"Don't worry. As long as you stay my friend, I can pull off your little plan. It can be even better" Ghost said. She showed her new power as she walked over to Taylor's phone and tapped it with her whistle. After that, she just blew into it and had the powers of the lion miraculous to have the phone appear in her hands. With that, Teresa and Taylor are confident their plan to ruin Lucy will work.

Lucy and Lyon
"And that should do it." Lucy said as she and Lyon finished planning for the dance. "And with what we're planning, I might be able to finish my dress in time for the dance."
"And maybe tell Natsu how you feel?" Lyon teased.
"It's not that easy. It seems like no matter what I try, I can't bring myself to do it." Lucy said. "I'm trying hard not to come up with elaborate plans, trying to be more simple, but it's like...I've always been afraid things aren't going to go the way I like. I try to control every situation and avoid taking the risks because I think it gives me a better chance, but it's all really because I'm just too scared and trying to work the courage to say it when I just can't."
"I sort of get it. It actually applies to more than just what you're going through." Lyon said. "I had a similar problem with my parents. When they left, I wanted to tell them how much I wanted them to stay. However, I told them I understood why they have to do it."
"What did you do?" Lucy questioned.
"I just simply told them how I felt. I told them how much I wanted them to stay, but I also told them I understood." Lyon said. "Before, I didn't have the guts to. What gave me the strength to is...well my frustration just became too much for me to handle. After all that, I had less trouble telling them how I felt."
"Have you spoken to your parents lately?" Lucy asked.
"I hear from them once in a while. They're both doing good." Lyon assured. Lucy, I know you believe in love's power or whatever, but don't think it's time you started taking your own advice. Stop the whole do-as-I-say-not-as-I-do bit?" Lucy thinks she should, but she's not sure if she can. "Anyway, we better get the supplies. We still have a lot of work to do." Both of them agreed and got moving, but completely unaware that Ghost was on their tail.
...
Paris
After that, Lucy and Lyon got to work on getting some things they might need. The first stop was a florist, Cosmo. She showed them how to glue flowers. As they were distracted, Ghost taps the spray of bottle and paper flowers with her whistle. Then, they went over to Lucy's parents to ask for their help on it as they were working on some cake they could have. Ghost was there as well and tapped the dollies and baker's peels. They even went to Gajeel's houseboat to ask for the band to play there. As they were talking, Ghost tapped her whistle on a few other items. Everything was going according to everyone's plans.

The Eiffel Tower
"And I was thinking we could put in a trampoline." Lucy said as she and Lyon were discussing their plans with the adults such as Lucy's parents, Mayor Allard, Mr. Redfox, Macao, and Cosmo. Even Natsu was there as support for Lucy. "It might be unusual, but I figured people who don't like dancing could have fun with it."
"We would also have Mr. and Mrs. Heartfilia help with a buffet with their delicious baked goods, and the best florist in Paris, Cosmo here, could aid in decorations with her beautiful flowers." Lyon said. As they were all talking, Taylor and Ghost were putting their plan into action. As everyone was distracted, Ghost used her invisibility powers to get near Lucy's bag. Once she was, she used the powers of the lion miraculous and summoned everything she touched to stash it all in Lucy's bag, unaware that Stella was in there and could see everything. Once she was done, they could begin their plan.
"Heartfilia! Give me back my phone!" Taylor called as she showed herself.
"What are you talking about?" Lucy questioned.
"You stole my phone!" Taylor said.
"My daughter is no thief!" Jude defended. Taylor went on with her plan as she walked over to Lucy's bag. Worried about Stella, she got in the way.
"Hold on. You can't just go through my stuff." Lucy said allowing Stella the time she needed to phase out of that bag.
"See? Suspicious? If she has nothing to hide, why is she stopping me?" Taylor said.
"Taylor, knock it off. Lucy wouldn't steal something that isn't hers." Natsu defended.
"Is that so?" Taylor said as she pushed Lucy out of the way and emptied out everything in Lucy's bag with everyone stunned to see.
"What? Where did all this come from?" Lucy questioned.
"No way Lucy stole all of this." Lyon said. "Knowing Taylor, she's just setting her up just to hurt her."
"And how could I have done this? Magic?" Taylor mocked.
"Magic! Of course! This has to be the work of some etheriouized villain!" Lucy claimed.
"And where is this villain?" Taylor mocked. "Besides, why would a villain place this stuff in Your bag when they are all the things you need..." She said as she grabbed Lucy's sketchbook. "...to build your dress! An utterly ridiculous dress, I might add."
"What are you talking about now?" Lucy questioned.
"First, look at these doilies!" Taylor said.
"Those are from our bakery!" Layla said.
"And look what we have here." Taylor said as she pulled out a smaller banner.
"That's mine!" Metalicana claimed.
"That's right. She planned to use all of these in her dress. See?" Taylor said as she showed the sketch. "Plus, look what what we have here." She claimed as she pointed to the flowers.
"Those are my flowers!" Cosmo claimed.
"Exactly." Taylor said as she just tossed the flower aside to have it land on Ghost while she was invisible. Lucy noticed that just before Ghost quickly got it off of her. Lucy seeing that had her understand what's really going on. "And she stole my phone, the gem of this collection."
"Why would I want your phone for a dress?" Lucy questioned. Taylor was stumped for a moment, but she quickly came up with something.
"To melt it down and use as jewelry for your hideous dress." Taylor claimed. "As you can see, everything is stacked against her. The jury must convict her."
"I'm sorry, Lucy, but I'm deeply disappointed." Macao claimed as he truly was disappointed and believed all of this, just like most of the others. "I'm afraid you're expelled."
"Lucy... How could you?" Jude questioned.
"If you needed this stuff, you should have just asked." Metalicana claimed.
"Wait just one minute!" Lyon said as he stood in the way and wasn't afraid to say how he felt or thought. "I've been with Lucy the whole time, and she never took any of this stuff! She never left my side! I can validate for her! Besides, do you all really believe that Lucy of all people would just take this stuff when she's the nicest person there is?"
"What do you think you're doing?" Taylor questioned.
"I should be asking you that. I bet you had something to do with this since you've always been jealous that everyone likes Lucy more than you." Lyon argued.
"I am going to enjoy seeing you be sent back to whatever hole you crawled out of." Taylor claimed. As those two were arguing, Lucy snuck away and met up with Stella behind a metal beam.
"Lucy, I saw what really happened." Stella claimed.
"It was Ghost. I caught a glimpse of her for a second. Stella, Twinkle!" Lucy quickly transformed and had to get to action, but she's going to need Salamondra. That's why she used the communication feature in her whip.
"Salamondra, head for the Eiffel Tower as fast as you can. I've got a bit of a Ghost problem." Celestria said. Until Salamondra, she needs to work fast to clear her name. "Open the Celestial Gate!" She used her powers and ended up getting a massive flashlight with the Leo sign on it. Once she got that, she knew what to do. "Everyone, wait!" She called as she came out. "I know what's going on and who is really at fault."
"Great. That's all we need." Taylor sarcastically claimed. "Is your magic flashlight going to reveal the truth?"
"Something like that. Just look!" Celestria said as she turned on the flashlight and it was an intense light. She shined it where Ghost was. Even if she is transparent or invisible, light still reveals a shadow and they could all see it. "Ghost must have been the one that placed all that stuff in Lucy's bad!" Ghost made herself visible and that made everyone run for it.
"Lights out for you, Celestria." Ghost said as she used her whistle again and was given the baker's peel and tried to use it to attack. As everyone was running for their lives, Natsu stepped back so that he could transform.
"Igneel, Fire Up!" Once Natsu transformed, he jumped right in the fight. As Ghost tried to attack Celestria with the peel, Salamondra stepped in the way and used his staff to block her. Ghost kept trying to attack, but Salamondra blocked each swing and pushed her away.
"I'm here, so you have a plan to beat a villain that can become invisible or transparent?" Salamondra questioned.
"We might have a hard time seeing her, but she's just going to have a hard time seeing." Celestria said as she had an idea.
"Your miraculous will be mine!" Ghost claimed as she tried attacking again, but Celestria used that bright flashlight again and it shined right in her eyes. It blinded her and managed to stop her in her tracks.
"Salamondra, go for the whistle!" Celestria ordered.
"Dragon Fire!" Salamondra called on his power and grabbed the whistle. With his power, the whistle broke apart with the etherious flying out.
"No more evildoing for you, little etherious." Celestria activated her whip to capture it again. "Time to de-evillize!" She tossed it and was able to catch it. "Gotcha! Bye-Bye, little guy. Miraculous Starlight!" She did the same routine and called on the magic stars once she tossed the flashlight in the air. The stars made sure to bring back everything where it properly belonged. As for Ghost, she was turned back into Samantha with Celestria forming a new charm for her that was black, white, and transparent.
"Samantha! Can't you do anything right?!" Taylor complained.
"This proves that Lucy Heartfilia is innocent. Ghost was trying to make her look guilty, and I bet I know who helped her." Celestria said as she glared right at Taylor with Taylor glaring back before she just stormed off. Just like Ghost disappearing, so did Taylor's latest trick to ruin Lucy. "Samantha, keep this charm to remind you what is right. You don't have to do something that you know is wrong just because of someone else." She said as she gave the charm.
"Thank you, Celestria." Samantha said with her feeling better.
"Pound it." Both heroes celebrated.

The Allard Hotel
"Lyon, thanks for what you did back there." Lucy said. After an eventful day, Lucy and Lyon were ready to call it night. "Not only did we get a lot done for the dance, but you attempted to save me from one of Taylor's schemes."
"Of course. I just said what I thought and felt." Lyon said.
"And you made it look so easy." Lucy said as she still wishes she could do the same.
"Lucy, enough of this. I think it's time you just go and tell Natsu the truth." Lyon pushed, but Lucy still wasn't sure. "Lucy, you know Natsu likes you. So, what could the problem be?"
"It's just... I'm worried if I do...everything will change...and it might be for the worst." Lucy claimed.
"Or it might be for the better." Lyon encouraged. "Lucy, there's never going to be a "perfect" moment for you to tell Natsu how you feel. It might be nothing more than in your imagination. Maybe all you really need for this moment to be perfect is just to stop overthinking it and come out and say it. All you really need is to be honest. Believe me, I know because I was like that towards my parents."
"And that's the same thing?" Lucy questioned.
"More or less." Lyon claimed. "When I told my parents how I really felt about them being gone, I thought it would change everything...and it did. My parents and I feel closer despite being so far apart. True, I wish they were still here, but it all worked out. No matter how it plays out, Lucy, keep your head up. Once you do it, you'll feel a lot better. It's true that it might go bad, but something good will come out of it. Even if something goes wrong, at least you'll have closure and finally put it all behind you, you'll feel a lot better about yourself." Lucy thought long and hard about what Lyon said. Maybe he's right. Lucy has been overthinking all of it because she was too scared things would go badly like last time, but look at what happened. Even though it did go badly the last time she confessed, she recovered from that and now she and Gray have become great friends. The same can be true for Natsu.
"You're right. Thank you, Lyon." Lucy said.
"Well? Go!" Lyon encouraged. Lucy went for it this time and ran off. Nothing was holding her back. Time for her to be as clear as a ghost about her feelings.
...
Natsu
Natsu was brought home by Jacob. He was about to get home, but Lucy showed up just in time.
"Natsu!" Lucy called as she hurried to him as fast as she could and tried to catch her breath.
"Lucy? Is something wrong?" Natsu asked.
"No." Lucy said as she tried to pull herself together. "I wanted to say for this so long, trying to create the perfect moment, but I never could. I came up with a bunch of excuses, but it was all really because I was scared to. Not this time." She said as she finally decided to go with it. "Natsu, I'm in love with you." She actually did it. As for the response...
"This moment feels perfect to me." Natsu said. This was it as the two of them were finally about to kiss. The moment they've been waiting for is finally here, until...
"Natsu!" They looked and saw Zeref standing at the door and didn't looked pleased. "It's time to come in. Now!" Arguing would be pointless, and it looks like Zeref isn't giving him a choice.
"Sorry, Lucy. Maybe you should go before you get into trouble." Natsu said as he surely didn't want that.
"Okay..." Lucy said. Natsu went on ahead with Lucy seeing him off.
"Lucy! You finally did it!" Stella said from Lucy's purse as she was so happy for her. "You finally told Natsu you loved him."
"Yeah, but..." Lucy said as she sees another problem. As Natsu walked into his home, Zeref gave one last serious look at Lucy before he closed the door...to separate them. Lucy might have finally said how she felt, but there is still one wall named Zeref that intends to keep them apart.
