"Hurry, Marinette, before all the ice cream melts!" Adrien hurriedly scooped some rapidly melting ice cream. "Adrien, you don't need to hurry. The point of the date is just to relax and enjoy each other's company." Adrien frowned, looking down. "But what about the ice cream?" Marinette took the cone from his hands, now pouring it into a small bowl. "Ever heard of ice cream soup?"

Marinette lay down on the beach towel she was sharing with Adrien, and sighed happily. In this moment, her city was at peace, and she was with the boy of her dreams. But then she shifted slightly.

"Penny for your thoughts, love?" Adrien lay down beside her, resting his forehead against hers. "Just dreaming about the future. Do you think we'll always be in Paris?" "I'd rather move to a cozy little island with you, and have those three kids and a hamster. Think about it, you could still do your sewing and I could garden the land."

As Adrien talked, Marinette's throat grew tight. As long as Monarch was around, she was trapped here. No, trapped wasn't the right word….but its how she felt sometimes. "Adrien?" "Hm?" "Do you think Ladybug ever wants a vacation with Cat Noir?" Was it her imagination or did Adrien squeeze her hand tighter. "What do you mean?" "I mean, don't you think she'd enjoy a day with no crime, just be able to laugh and have fun?" "I think she'd like that very much, but she knows she has a duty to the city. One day, she'll be able to do it. Just not right now."

Marinette nodded, leaning forward, kissing him. "I like the idea of me sewing clothes for you." "Oh?" Adrien teased. "We'll my first outfit by Marinette be overalls and a straw hat?" "Yep." "What about fashion school? Being a top designer?" "I go back and forth with it. What are you going to do when you don't model?" "Raise a family with you." "I…." Marinette's heart beat fast. "There are times I want to be a mother even more then designing." "Shared dreams are good. And for the hamster…"

Marinette sat up. "Yes, the hamster that shall be named. But we need to get home for supper. Papa's cooking his famous pasta and I don't want to miss that." "And I can't wait for dessert," Adrien grinned as he stood up, brushing the sand off.

Marinette giggled as she took his hand. "My love, you certainly have a sweet tooth!" "Yeah, but its nothing compared to how sweet I am on you!"
