G.U.N. Fortress, Mount Freedom. Central Francisco. (1 Day Since The Convergence)
BGM-The Avengers (2012) OST-Fury and the Council
G.U.N. Fortress. The main mountain base for the Guardian Units of the Nation that's located near the vicinity of Central Francisco. Additionally serving as S.T.R.I.K.E.'s ground headquarters during this Convergence Crisis. In a dark room, the three STRIKE Commanders, Fury, Tower, and Ironwood, are attending a secretive meeting with four shadowy figures on screens. Their individual identities are unknown, but together, they are infamously known as the World Security Council. An international council formed of politicians from some of the Earth's most powerful countries to function as oversight for SHIELD, and by extension, STRIKE. One Councilman says to the commanders, "It's been almost two days since the Convergence and besides preventing the emergence of the Iron Hydra Empire, S.T.R.I.K.E. is proving adequate."
"Thanks. An alliance like Iron Hydra was expected in a war like this and we're doing what we can to prevent their conquest of the planet. We've already forced them out of Mistripoor empty-handed." Nick Fury reported to his bosses.
"What of the Eternals? You said they are planning to conquer our world?" Councilman #2 asked them.
"Not the Eternals. Thanos. And he's not planning a conquest, but a massacre." James Ironwood clarified, revealing that the commanders are the only ones in STRIKE that know of Thanos's inevitable invasion.
"Then the Convergence must've been caused by him. Where is he and what is he doing?" A Councilwoman questioned.
"Intelligence is currently mapping out this new universe so his general location is unknown. We can only presume he is preparing a massive invasion force on our unified world. Estimation of arrival is a week or two." Abraham Tower answered calmly.
"And the heroes are clueless about his invasion?" Councilman #4 questioned.
"They know all except for his identity. Their top priority is to restore order to the world before his arrival." Tower replied.
"Belay that order. Mobilize all of STRIKE in locating and ambushing the alien." Councilman #2 ordered.
"The world is on fire. We cannot abandon it to act reckless." Fury argued, believing it is too soon to confront the Mad Titan.
"You said it yourself Thanos means to eradicate mankind and his Convergence succeeded in eliminating a third of us. We cannot allow him to set foot on our planet." Councilman #2 retorted, being as realistic as his fellow councilmen that wants to do what they think is best to keep the world safe.
"Thanos is said to be one of the most powerful and intelligent beings any of our worlds have ever faced. While he is a primary suspect, we currently have no evidence claiming he caused the Convergence. Most of our agents aren't used to space battle. A full-frontal assault would be suicide. At least here we'll have the homefield advantage." Ironwood refuted with a composed argument.
"You're putting the whole world at risk. We have several of the Exo Stones. Use them." Councilman #1 suggested.
"Only as a last resort." Tower commented.
"Yet you have allowed those children to use them as playthings." The Councilwoman criticized.
"The Dimensional Avengers are young but smart. They know better than anyone how best to use them." Fury insisted.
"We're running the world's greatest covert security network, in collaboration with G.U.N. and the Atlesian Military, and you're gonna leave the fate of the human race to a handful of freaks." Councilman #2 offered reservations on behalf of the council, not sharing the commanders' faith in the superheroes.
"We're not leaving anything to anyone. We need a response team. That is what STRIKE is. These people may be isolated, unbalanced even, but I believe, with the right push, they can be exactly what we need." Fury argued.
"You believe!" Councilwoman remarks disappointedly.
"War isn't won by sentiment, Director." Councilman #2 claimed.
"No. It's won by soldiers." Fury countered, expressing his confidence that STRIKE will win against Thanos when that time comes.

Glenn Island, New Vale City.
BGM-Spider-Man: Web of Shadows OST-S.H.I.E.L.D. (Red Suit)
Glenn Island. The remade borough created from unique elements from three specific areas: The mountainous setting of Mountain Glenn. The suburban feel of Staten Island. And the factory aspect of Reactive Factory Zone. This town has lots of greenery and tons of automated wonders like water-based fuel that enriches all industrial activity on the island. Nature and technology live in perfect harmony here. And for the moment, chaos. Thanks to a horde of monstrous mutated addicts wanting to reduce this county back to how Mount Glenn looked.
A police car is driving through the wrecked streets to find and stop these mutants. They find one. A large purple humanoid brute that dropped out of nowhere for the car to crash into, which didn't faze the monster at all. "Damn, these guys are everywhere!" A Police Officer said, rushing out of the car with his gun alongside his sergeant.
"Fall back and call-in reinforcements, pronto!" The Police Sergeant ordered.
Both officers struggle to retreat while firing their guns at the invulnerable brute. The growling mutant easily smacks away the officer and frightens the sergeant with a glare before grabbing him by the throat. Luckily reinforcements arrived to save him, but they're not from the police department. But from the Dimensional Avengers. A sudden Spin Dash from Sonic forces the brute to let go of the sergeant, then thick weblines from Spider-Man binds the creature until he collapses to the ground, allowing Ruby to use her Cross Art to teleport the monster into police custody.
"Sergeant Brett Mahoney, I assume? Are you alright?" X asked politely, arriving to check on him.
"Yeah, thanks. You with STRIKE?" Sergeant Mahoney responded.
"That's right. We're here to talk to you about Kingpin." X nodded.
"I heard. Give us room and I'll tell you what you need to know." Mahoney told the heroes.
"You heard the man. Show 'em heaven and hell in unison!" Spider-Man ordered both Pit and Jin to unleash their Crossover Combination: The Angelic Devil Blaster.
More of the mutated addicts rampage toward the duo that is ready to clobber them. Pit equips himself with the Tiger Claws, and with a flurry of mighty slashes, gathers them together. He then flies up with his Palutena Bow equipped, joining the transformed Devil Jin powering up his Devil Beam. Angel and Devil combine their charged blasts into one devastating attack that sweeps the ground and all enemies that were powerless to flee.

"Mount Glenn keeps getting creepier with every visit." Weiss joked, now that the street is clear for some conversations.
"At least the town's rebuilt and no longer a deserted wasteland. Say what you will about the Convergence, it certainly brought new life to dead expansion projects." Blake responded, recalling Mount Glenn was a failed expansion of Vale thanks to Grimm ravaging the place.
"For better or worse." Pit quipped.

"Spider-Man! Urich told me you were on your way. How can I help?" Sergeant Mahoney asked, shaking hands with the webslinger.
"We're trying to get back the Lifeline Tablet from Wilson Fisk. We learned the only way he could legally obtain it is through his corrupt contacts in the police department. Ben told us you're not on his payroll and that you tipped him to a meeting involving a top lieutenant in his organization. Tombstone." Spidey told him what he learned from his most recent meeting with Ben Urich.
"That shark-teeth would know something. If you want to get to Tombstone, your best bet is to go through AIM. They're working together to terrorize the city with an experimental drug, Mutant Growth Hormone." Mahoney informed the heroes.
"Those people we fought were affected by that?" Tails remarked.
"Yeah. MGH is turning citizens and gangmembers into superpowered monsters, and our force is spread thin trying to handle this mess." Mahoney said.
"That's terrible. How do they make stuff like this?" Weiss asked.
"Extracted from either from mutants or genetically enhanced individuals like me and Jin. It is a naturally occurring biochemical produced in our kind. Not only it can give normal people powers but it can also act as a steroid for those with powers. Regardless, the effects don't last long." Spidey sternly explained to everyone.
"Never knew. This means AIM has a source that we can destroy." Jin commented.
"Hear their latest test subjects are these colorful, alien-looking things. Think they're called… 'Lisps'?" Mahoney revealed, shocking the likes of Sonic and Tails with this otherworldly news.
"The Wisps are back? Can't believe it! What're they doing back on our world?" Sonic reacted.
"The Convergence must've displaced lot of them here. AIM must've captured them during the confusion." Tails assumed.
"We gotta save 'em! They suffered enough from Eggman's experiments!" Sonic scowled, recalling how the Dimensional Avengers saved the aliens from Eggman's space park.
"Tails, transfer me a copy of your translator. Sonic, Yang, X. You're with me. They must have a factory hidden here in the city. We're gonna shut it down. Ruby, I want you to lead the others out here and help the police clear the streets of all mutated addicts." Spidey assigned his teammates their objectives.
"Got it." Ruby acknowledged sternly.
"This manifest we found revealed that a shipment of MGH is scheduled to come from a garage east of here. That's your target. Good luck with Tombstone." Mahoney said, handing the webbed leader the manifest paper.
"Thank you, sergeant. We out!" Spidey proclaimed, ready to save some aliens.

BGM-Sonic Colors OST-Asteroid Coaster (Act 1)
Was only a few days ago when the Dimensional Avengers shut down their dimension experiments. Now it seems A.I.M. is going to lose their MGH production if they don't fight back harder than ever. AIM Forces have gathered inside the MGH Garage prepping their trucks for transport of more drugs throughout the city. One Agent sits on the driver's seat of one truck, starting its engines. He glances to his right and leaves himself stunned at the sight of Yang already sitting in the passenger seat, smiling and waving before punching him out of his own vehicle. The rest of Spidey's squad quickly emerge to wreak havoc on their forces, with Spidey webbing up beekeepers and X blasting apart trucks. Sonic stands in front of the entrance into the MGH Factory hidden here, thrusting a point at it before charging up a Boost and smirking, "Knock knock!", before barging into the factory all gung ho.
"Nothing's more fun than trashing an evil factory." chuckled Sonic, destroying MGH barrels with his blitzing speed.
"Try not to enjoy yourself too much." snarked X, blasting away AIM Agents that are furious at the trespassers.
"This is a party, X. Go buck wild!" quipped Yang, smashing beekeepers into all equipment that produces MGH.
The party intensifies once AIM unleashes their Wisp-powered MGH monster horde at the heroes. The humanoid mutants that resemble the Purple Frenzy transformation are called MGH Frenzies, clawed berserkers that grow stronger with every destructive act. Spidey is fast and skilled enough to dodge their frantic attacks, bouncing off one's claw and watching X freeze him with Shotgun Ice before web-throwing him onto others. Another MGH Frenzy surprises X with a slash to the back that knocks him down, prompting Spidey to come to his aid by conjuring a web dome that defends them from the lunges of multiple mutants. The dome explodes into a shockwave of webbing that stuns them all to be blasted by X's Twin Slasher. Another prominent group of variants are MGH Voids. Violet ghost-like humanoids that can fly and can manipulate gravity with the force of a black hole. One Void catches the running Sonic off-guard by pulling him into an uppercut. Yang stomps them then takes down all but one Frenzy that gives her trouble until Sonic returns with a flying kick that knocks the monster into another room. The large laboratory where AIM is syphoning the captured Wisps of their MGH and converting innocent people into MGH monsters.
"This place…Just like at Eggman's space park. They're draining Wisps of their energy! But how can they have MGH if their power is natural?" Sonic scowls at what he's seeing.
"That's not the case when converted into Nega-Wisps." Spidey stated, specifying that corrupted Wisps are capable of producing MGH.
"This is awful. Humans and Wisps alike being abused to go Maverick." X commented, looking in horror at AIM's experiments.
"Knowing Kingpin, he's flooding the city with this knockoff MGH just to grab up the entire market. And when a few hundred innocent people turn up dead because of bad trips, he'll just pay off the cops and judges to look the other way." Spidey claimed.
"He's a monster! How can anyone be so cruel?" Yang growls, trashing the lab equipment in a moment of rage.
"I've had it up to here with Fisk! That guy needs to go down now!" Sonic exclaimed, expressing his own rage by freeing Wisps from their containment.
"We're all in agreement. Keep wrecking the place. Tombstone's nearby, I know it." Spidey ordered whilst he and X go to find the lead gangster in this operation.

BGM-Sonic Colors OST-Asteroid Coaster (Act 3)
Behind a large gate is another garage housing more transports. Trucks are being loaded up with MGH barrels by AIM Agents. All of it overseen by a hulking albino man in a business suit. This man is Tombstone, annoyed upon hearing the ruckus caused by the Dimensional Avengers destroying his factory. "What's with all that racket?" Tombstone wondered.
"We're under attack!" A scared AIM Agent retorted.
"No shit. By whom?" Tombstone scowled.
"Your old dancing partner." Spidey quipped, barging into the area with X.
"You?!" Tombstone expresses his annoyance at his old enemy's intervention.
"Let's have ourselves another tango." Spidey web-throws a sturdy object at Tombstone, who easily shatters it with his superhuman strength. X keeps the grunts busy with an energy volley that gives his teammate the freedom to vault over the gangster and keep him pinned down by both the arm and neck.
"Should've stayed out of this one, Webhead!" Tombstone warned, struggling to break free from his grip.
"Where do you get off abusing defenseless little aliens? Is that how you get your jollies?" Spidey snarked.
"No, that was work. THIS is how I get my jollies." Tombstone retorted, freeing himself to grab the hero from behind and ram into a wall. The grey gangster goes to smack X next and miss hitting him with another attack thanks to the reploid countering with a close-range Buster Blow to his back.
"I didn't say I was finished with you, rockhead." Spidey announced, web-tying him until he trips and falls.
"And I'm not through with YOU!" Tombstone burst free from the webbing with tremendous strength and lunges at Peter, knocking him down and lifting him up for a brutal move, "But I'm late for a funeral! Yours!" He throws him hard through a solid wall and leaves him to struggle with more MGH Monsters. Just as X finishes off the remaining agents, Tombstone picks up one of their rifles to assault him into a corner, smirking, "You think you're tough enough for Tombstone?", while the reploid struggles to block his bullets.
Spider-Man will come to his aid, right after he deals with the MGH creatures. His dizzying blur of attacks knocks most of them out. A MGH Void tries to gravity-pull him, which helps the webhead get closer to web his face and bounce off him from a MGH Frenzy that accidently knocks both of them down. Before reuniting with X, he notices a Wisp Capsule imprisoning an Orange Wisp that gives him an idea. He frees the little alien, and both head for the main arena where Spidey shouts, "X, here's a boost!", and disarms the distracted Tombstone while the Wisp enters X's body to grant him a unique Color Power.
"This should be more than enough to embarrass you!" X feels the Hyper-go-on energizing his X-Buster for one awesome attack. He shouts, "Orange Rocket!", before firing the namesake as a high-flying projectile that surprises the gangster with its explosive power. Tombstone collapse, webbed tight just as countless Wisps are seen flying happy thanks to Sonic and Yang freeing them from the other room.

"Woo, we made a mess in there. AIM won't be able to manufacture anymore MGH in this factory. Already had Doctor Light call the police to secure the place." Yang informed her leader upon reuniting with him.
"Good job." Spidey complimented the team for a job well done.
"DFVFG#U5." said a White Wisp, happily speaking to the heroes in his alien language that is impossible to understand without a non-glitchy translator.
"What's he sayin'?" Sonic asked Spidey, who has the translator installed into his suit.
"That they're grateful for the rescue." Spidey paraphrases the translation.
"You're welcome. Always a pleasure helping friends. Get back to Planet Wisp safe, alright?" Sonic replied to the alien.
"25#KCBA$1." The White Wisp responded.
"Actually, they've been planning to stay here. They like us so much that some of them have been living in Mobius for a while and are open to help us out if we ever need it." Spidey paraphrases another translation.
"So that's how they were caught in the Convergence. Awesome! Welcome to your new home, guys!" Sonic beamed, just as happy as the many Wisps dancing around them.
BGM-Spider-Man: Web of Shadows OST-Fisk Industries
Just then, Tombstone groans him awake from unconsciousness and grunts, "…Can't believe you punks beat me. How's that possible?"
"It's because we're nice to the Wisps. We work together, not torture and use them for terrorism." X retorted, scolding the gangster for seeing the aliens as tools of war.
"And if you don't want to suffer like they did, you'll tell who's on Fisk's payroll." Yang scowled, threatening to beat him again if he doesn't talk.
"Just about everyone is. You're wastin' your time." Tombstone snarked fearlessly.
"Tell us about the cop that allowed him to take the Lifeline Tablet scot-free." Spidey interrogated.
"Oh. You wanna know?" Tombstone then chuckles, putting on a taunting smile that will take pleasure on what will upset Spidey. "Sure…I'll tell ya. It's your girl, Lieutenant Jean DeWolff." He revealed to them.
"What?" Spidey exclaimed in utter shock at his bold claim.
"Her?" Sonic commented, recalling their last meeting with DeWolff at Hell's Kitchen.
"You're lying! She would never work for Kingpin!" Spidey retorted, angrily lifting up the webbed gangster in disbelief that his friend in the force is a traitor.
"But she is. And she's in deep, but you'll never be able to prove it, punk!" Tombstone laughs, enraging the arachnid into throwing him back to his unconscious state.
"DeWolff…" Spidey muttered somberly, unable to accept her working for Fisk behind his back.

Shortly After…
"All done here." Ruby announced, defeating the last MGH mutant that was terrorizing Glenn Island.
The entire borough is now safe thanks to the Dimensional Avengers. All those that were affected by Mutant Growth Hormones are returning to normal, with citizens being escorted to the ambulance and gangmembers being taken into police custody. The Wisps are free as well as they fly out of the MGH Factory to embrace the wonderful blue sky above Ruby's group. "The Wisps are free!" Amy happily noticed.
"Those are the aliens? Thought they'd be creepier and taller and have tubes for heads. Unless they facehug. Do they facehug?" Naoto asked the pink hedgehog.
"No. More like they phase into your body to give you powers." Amy replied casually.
"That's creepy!" Naoto exclaimed in shock.

Sergeant Mahoney oversees the arrest of Tombstone and his AIM allies while Spidey's group exit the MGH Factory with them so they can reunite with their friends. "You found Tombstone. Did he talk?" Blake asked.
"Unfortunately." Yang frowned.
"What does that mean?" Blake reacts with slight confusion.
"Turns out Jean DeWolff is his informant." X revealed to Ruby's group.
"The police officer that helped us beat the Wrecking Crew? I thought she was a good guy." The shocked Pit commented.
"Apparently not. She double-crossed us." Knuckles accused, believing they should've never trusted her.
"No she didn't! I know DeWolff! She hates Fisk as much as me and has been working his case for years! Never in a million years would she ever work for him! Not willingly." Spidey snaps at his accusations.
"Tombstone's word alone is not enough to tie DeWolff to Kingpin, but rumors and subtle evidence also hint that Jean's up to something. If DeWolff is guilty it would explain how Fisk 'legally' obtained the tablet. If that's what she did…and we can expose this…it would allow us to reclaim the tablet and put Fisk behind bars for police bribery." Sergeant Mahoney commented.
"Where can we find her?" Lucina asked him.
"Don't know. Gonna have to ask Captain Watanabe about that." Mahoney replied.
"I'll go meet her. You guys help with cleanup." Spidey proclaimed, walking away from his team.
"You want to talk to DeWolff alone?" Sonic questioned.
"All of us going will just spook her. I can handle this." Spidey claimed.
"Are you sure?" Blake worriedly asked her ex-boyfriend.
"I'll be fine. I'll get the truth from her." Spidey assured her.
"Okay…" Blake said softly, reluctantly allowing him to go at this by himself.
"What are you going to do if she is a traitor?" Jin asked the superhero.
Almost immediately with a stoic voice, Spidey replies with, "…Then I'll just treat her like every other criminal.", before swinging away from the worried expressions of his friends.
Spider-Man swings by his lonesome to meet with Yuri Watanabe about DeWolff's location. Unbeknownst to him however, he is being spied on by one Hazel Rainart hiding in an alleyway. The big guy has his Scroll call someone, and once they pick up, he puts it near his ear to report his findings. "This is Hazel. Just as you thought. Spider-Man is on his way to meet with her." Hazel calmly reported to his superior.
'Assassins are already on their way. DeWolff has outlived her usefulness to me. If he gets her to testify, I'll be all but ruined.' His mysterious new boss replied.
"There's also the Hand to worry about. Saw some of them scouting around your building." Hazel said.
'I'll deal with them soon enough. You have proven yourself capable, Rainart. Return to my building immediately in preparations for the final battle.' The Crimelord ordered.
"Yessir, Mr. Fisk." Hazel acknowledged, revealing to be working for the Kingpin. But only as a double agent to help his true bosses, the Masters of Evil, distract the heroes and obtain the tablet for them.

Later at the Upper East Side…
Captain Yuri Watanabe is driving in peace in her police car. That peace is briefly disturbed upon feeling someone landing on her roof and is startled to find Spider-Man looking at her from outside her windshield. "Hello! We need to chat." Spider-Man jokingly announced.
"Make it quick before I ram you into a lamppost." Watanabe snarked.
Shortly after, the two arrive at the local police station. Spidey just told Yuri everything he learned about DeWolff and her alleged connections with the Kingpin. Needless to say, Yuri is not happy about this at all. "…I refuse to believe that. Jean's been my best friend for years and taught me everything I needed to know about being a good cop. No way she would ever betray us for Fisk." She commented in disbelief, angrily slamming close her car door.
"I agree completely. That's why I think she's being blackmailed. Fisk must have something on her that's forcing her to do this." Spidey claimed, still perched atop her car.
"Never thought that'd be possible with Jean. She's always been careful." Yuri said, having underestimated Fisk's power.
"Everyone makes mistakes. Jean's no exception. I need you to tell me where she is so I can save her." Spidey sympathized, whilst jumping off the car roof.
"On the rooftop. But I'm coming with. I also want to know the truth." Yuri answered sternly, just as eager to save her best friend from her terrible mistake.
BGM-Spider-Man 3 (Game) OST-DeWolfe #1
It is time to confront Jean DeWolff. As stated before, she is on the rooftop of the police station. Alone, enjoying a cigarette until the voice of a fellow officer caught her attention, "Jean. We need to talk."
DeWolff turns to find both Yuri and Spider-Man standing across from her. She says, "Yuri. And Spider-Man. What do you need?", while seemingly not surprised by their intervention.
"You already know." Yuri frowned.
Acknowledging that, the stoic DeWolff stares at the webslinger, telling him, "…Heard you took down Tombstone. Must've said some bad stuff about me. But you know better than to take his word as gospel."
"We want to hear the truth from you, DeWolff. If you're in trouble, I promise I'll do everything in my power to help you." Spidey proposed, playing good cop in this interrogation.
"You can't. It's over for me either way." DeWolff claimed.
"Stop being stubborn. That's probably how the situation got this bad. We're your friends, DeWolff. You can't escape Fisk alone." Spidey argued.
"I'm not trying to escape." DeWolff claimed.
"So you were willing to betray everything we stood for." Yuri angrily accused her.
"Not by choice. That's just how life is. Made one bad move and I have to pay the consequences." DeWolff reminisced vaguely, then glares this at Spidey, "You of all people should know how that's like."
"I've made my share of mistakes. Some very recently…" Spidey frowns, recalling his alleged failure for preventing the Convergence. "But at least I am TRYING to atone for all of that. All you've done is nothing and it's put the whole city at risk! The DeWolff I know would never give up against anything!" He said, trying to encourage her to regain her resolve.
"Don't talk as if you know me. We were never friends." DeWolff retorted angrily.
"The two of us were unless you stop being a coward. I'm placing you under arrest!" Yuri announced, seemingly ending her friendship with DeWolff.
BGM End
DeWolff resists by pointing her gun at her. Yuri doesn't hesitate by reacting the same way. Two officers, both best friends, threatening to shoot each other if they make any movement. With the surprised Spider-Man trying to defuse the tension between them. "Whoa-whoa-whoa-whoa-whoa, calm down! We can still talk this out." He gestured, getting between them.
BGM-Spider-Man: Web of Shadows OST-Kingpin Henchmen (Black Suit)
The time for talking will have to be cut to a minimum so a helicopter can be heard flying above the police rooftop. Spidey and the two officers look up at it fast-roping several of Kingpin's cybernetic thugs with glares solely targeting the traitorous cop. "Watch out! Assassins!" DeWolff shouted, realizing they have come to kill her.
"Point your guns at them instead of each other!" Spidey quipped.
"You heard the man!" Yuri exchanges a nodding glance at Jean, both deciding to put their issues aside for now in order to defeat the assassins.
The moment the Fisk Cyber Thugs open fire at everyone is when the two officers take cover behind the ventilation systems. They retaliate with their guns, with DeWolff doing some damage to one thug before Spidey zips in to knock him down. "Excuse me, but this rooftop was already rented for a private discussion between friends. The least you could've done was say, 'Please, we want to be rude and get beat up'." He jokes around while handling the crooks with successive ease, sweeping one off his feet and uppercutting him away before rodeoing another assassin with webbing to clear some space of goons.
A brawler cyber thug clashes with Jean and gives her trouble. But the second Yuri supports her friend, she takes him out no problem. The two friends exchange smiles, until those smiles are replaced with looks of horror when DeWolff gets hurt by a playing card thrown at her chest. "Jean!" Yuri shouted, rushing to her bleeding friend's aid.
"Somebody's in trouble…" Her assailant reveals himself jumping onto the rooftop with a sadistic smile. He has a notable bullseye symbol on his body armor's forehead and seems to like holding a threatening weapon on each hand: A throwing card on one, and a knife on the other. "And it looks like you're the target!" He finished announcing his presence to the heroic party that are quick to recognize him.
"Bullseye! Should've known Fisk would hire his favorite dart thrower to kill DeWolff. What she knows can finally bring him down." Spidey said, having fought Bullseye several times in the past.
"Exactly why he hired me to shut her trap. I'm the best there is at what I do, and what I do isn't very nice." Bullseye snarked.
"Not being very original, bub." Spidey quipped.
Smirking, Bullseye chuckles and throws multiple cards at Spider-Man with superhuman accuracy that is countered by his spider-like reflexes. The Webslinger dodges his cards and fires web shots that only manage to bind a hand that prevents it from throwing more weapons, using this chance to deliver a pummeling on the master assassin. Bullseye endures his blows thanks to his adamantium-laced bones and his insanity aids him in surprising the hero with a point-blank bomb that blows both of them back. Peter is down for a bit while the frenzied assassin removes the webbing from his hand so he can go mad with his knives. Just as Spidey recovers to avoid a thrown knife, Bullseye hurls a multitude into the sky that all rain on the webslinger that dodges them all with his amazingly evasive flips, snarking, "You're not good enough to be a decent Hawkeye. Throw whatever you like. You'll never touch me."
"Not interested in you. Came to kill one person and one person only." Bullseye throws a baseball that easily misses Spidey, which was the point. The ball bounces around the rooftop and his own men until they smash hard onto DeWolff's unsuspecting forehead, causing her to collapse in great bloody pain.
"Dammit…" DeWolff cursed, feeling her end is near.
"Get up!" Yuri shouted, rushing her friend back onto her feet.
"Yuri! Get DeWolff outta here! I'll cover you!" Spidey ordered, fending off the thugs while Yuri escorts the injured Jean to the door.
"Nuh-uh." Bullseye hits the distracted webhead with a thrown sai that immobilizes him. "You're all staying right here for the execution." He said, smiling at his mooks blocking off the officers' only exit. The cops are now surrounded by Bullseye's men. Weak but refusing to give up judging by the looks on Yuri's face, which will make killing them all the sweeter. "Let 'em have it!" Bullseye ordered his men to kill them.
Bullets fly at the officers but don't land on them. Instead, they were deflected by the timely arrival of Weiss Schnee and her hard-light barrier. The Fisk Thugs were left so surprised by her intervention that they left themselves wide open for the other arriving Dimensional Avengers to strike. "Are you two okay?" Ruby asked the rescued cops.
"Yeah. Good timing." Yuri smiled gratefully.
"What? STRIKE is here?!" Bullseye exclaimed in shock.
"Surprise!" Pit sang, slamming his Bomber Arm weapon onto his villainous face.
"Took you guys long enough." Spidey expected his friends to come to his rescue, grunting whilst removing the sai from his body.
"You were the one that wanted to handle this yourself. What kind of friends we'd be if we didn't have your back?" Tails teased his leader.
"Not being paid enough for this." Bullseye scowls upon realizing he's losing, desperately keeping as many of the heroes at bay with his throwing cards.
"Should've read your cards better." Amy snarked, throwing her own fortune card infused with her magical Cross Art energy that damages his hand. He tries to make use of the other one but Jin intercepts with his Over the Shoulder Reverse throw, brutally breaking his arm before grappling him to the ground where one awaits to finish him off.
"Allow me." DeWolff volunteers to defeat him for trying to assassinate him. She looms over the weakened Bullseye with a scary glare down on him, and without hesitation, delivers one mean stomp to his face that knocks him unconscious.
BGM End
All the cyber-assassins are beaten and Bullseye is being sealed within an Interdimensional Orb so he won't be hired for more assassination work anytime soon. DeWolff is still injured from that battle. Thankfully, X is kind enough to help her stand. "How are you feeling, detective?" X politely asked.
"I'll live. Thanks for the save." DeWolff smiled gratefully.
"Oh sure. We're always happy to save traitors." Knuckles sassed, still thinking she betrayed her friends willingly.
"Now you all are grilling me? What proof do you have that I am working for Kingpin?" DeWolff scowls at the echidna.
"These assassins make it more than obvious." Knuckles gestured whilst confronting her, "On top of what Tombstone said, how only a cop can help Fisk get the Tablet, and what the WHOLE department is talking about you behind your back!"
"That doesn't prove anything." DeWolff refuted in vain.
"It PROVES you're a dirty cop, DeWolff." Yang retorted, cross-armed with a glaring look of disappointment.
"Which is so incredibly disappointing." Pit quipped.
"You don't understand." DeWolff frowned, clearly expressing guilt and regret for everything she has done up until now.
"What does the Kingpin have on you?" Yang points at her, demanding an explanation for her betrayal this instant.
"I was a good cop." DeWolff claimed, finally relenting as she flashes back to the night her life fell apart.
Flashback…
BGM-Tekken 5 OST- Destined Interlude ~ Sinister
'I was following the trail of Kingpin's enforcers after their rather successful crime spree through Hell's Kitchen.' Jean DeWolff recalls herself tailing the criminals to their hideout inside an abandoned building, hiding in the shadows to make sure she isn't seen. 'But when I got there I discovered I wasn't the only one on that trail.' From the shadows, she finds a blonde goggled superhero tied to a chair and looking like he's been tortured for hours by the crooks. 'Speedball, one of the New Warriors, had clearly found them. But got himself captured, tied up, and worked over.' In horror, she watches as the brutish thug treats Speedball as a punching bag that could die at any moment. 'They were about to go for round 2, and it didn't look like he had much left in him. I didn't even think.' Jean saw enough, emerging from the shadows as quickly as her killing the enforcers. 'I put them down. I didn't report it because I knew what I had done was wrong.' She noted, staring remorsefully at the dead criminals.
"Thank you." Speedball said weakly, being helped up by his savior.
"Can you walk?" DeWolff asked.
"I-I'll try." Speedball grunted.
Unbeknownst to them both, they were caught on camera by Kingpin's female lawyer. She hands him the laptop containing the video. The blackmail material that the smiling Fisk used to force DeWolff into helping him reclaim the Lifeline Tablet, 'If I'd been thinking I would have looked for the security camera that caught me murdering Kingpin's lackeys. Never mind that these were the worst kind of bad guys about to kill a real, actual hero.'

BGM-Sonic the Hedgehog (2006) OST-I Will Change My Destiny
"I killed in cold blood. Kingpin had me dead to rights. I either do what he says, or I go to jail." DeWolff finished, finally explaining her side of the story to Yuri and the Dimensional Avengers.
"You want to make up for your sins? Help us." Blake urged, sympathizing with the detective.
"You talk to the feds. You confess your sins. The Kingpin falls." Sonic suggested.
"Coercion, bribery of government employees, racketeering…I'd say it's enough to bring him down." X listed, claiming they have the evidence to defeat Kingpin legally if DeWolff simply admits her crimes to the police.
"Here's your chance to do the right thing." Ruby said to the detective.
"C'maaan." Spider-Man encouraged his old friend.
Closing her eyes with a sorrowful expression, DeWolff says, "I can't live like this any longer.", before opening her eyes infused with a renewed resolve for justice, "Get him. I'll testify."
"Well alright." Knuckles grinned, eagerly smashing his fists together while forgiving DeWolff.
"We can do it, can't we? We can finally take down the Kingpin." Spidey excitedly expressed.
"We do it tonight." Yuri proclaimed in which they are all in agreement. All of them ready to reclaim the Lifeline Tablet and arrest Kingpin for all his evil on New Vale City.
