Vanessa, Roxanne and Austin began to walk down to the loading docks, they entered an elevator going down to the loading dock. The three of them stood in the elevator in silence for a moment, then Vanessa sighed a bit, looking at the two.
"What were you two thinking! Sneaking at the atrium when I told you two not to." Vanessa said to the two, placing her hands on her hips.
Austin looked down at the floor, looking guilty, Roxanne however, just looked at Vanessa.
"We were just curious, that's all. We were trying to be sneaky so we wouldn't get caught." Roxanne said to Vanessa.
"I told you two to not to go to the atrium when the meeting was happening, you were luck they let you stay, but if Gregory gets caught after hours, I don't think the new boss will allow you two to stay anymore, even if Mr. Cawthon said Austin can stay and will have to live with me, which is fine with me, but still."
"Well, Freddy is good at hiding the kid well, plus Gregory is really sneaky, so he won't get caught easily."
"That's true I suppose, but please, take more responsibility with the kid, alright?"
"Alright, alright… I promise to take better care of Auzzy."
Officer Vanessa sighed, looking at Roxanne. "Why do I have a feeling don't believe you."
Just then, the elevator opened up and Vanessa looked at the two.
"Well, let's go and get these animatronics." Vanessa said to the two.
"Right!" The two nodded.
The three stepped out of the elevator, heading their way to the loading docks. As the three made it to the main loading dock, they saw several delivery trucks, and several S.T.A.F.F bots getting ready. One of the S.T.A.F.F bots noticed the three and went over to them.
"Hi, thank you for volunteering for this retrieving procedure. Please take a seat in the vehicles and we will be leaving right away." The S.T.A.F.F bot said to the three.
"Where are we going even? Are the animatronics outside of the building?" Vanessa asked the S.T.A.F.F bot.
"The animatronics were luckily transported here already, however, they are located even deeper in the Pizzaplex loading area. We just need to bring them back to the main loading bay."
"And how are we going to these animatronics back to the atrium?" Roxanne asked the S.T.A.F.F bot.
"We will use the utility dolly to carry them and push them onto the ramps, safely placing them into the vehicles."
"Oh… I see. And how many animatronics are there?"
"There are over 100 animatronics, including the ones that aren't originally ours to be brought back here."
"Oh… this might take a while."
"Well… no time like the present, let's get this done with." Vanessa said to the two.
The two of them nodded, as Vanessa, Austin and Roxanne went into the same delivery truck. The S.T.A.F.F bots started to go inside the back of the vehicles, the delivery trucks drivers started up the engines and they started to move. A large garage door opened up, and the vehicles started to drive deeper into the Pizzaplex. The more they went deeper into the Pizzaplex, the more darker it became. The lights emitting from the roof were dimly lit, making it hard to see for officer Vanessa and Austin, but not for Roxanne and the S.T.A.F.F bots. After a few minutes of driving into the dim lit roadway, they finally made it to the loading bay. The garage door opened up, allowing the vehicles to enter the loading bay. The three of them saw the many shipping crates, stand in many rows in front of them.
"Wow… so many crates." Roxanne said out loud.
The delivery trucks stopped and the three exited the vehicle. The back doors of the delivery trucks opened up, the ramps deployed to the ground and several S.T.A.F.F bots exited, rolling out several utility dolly's.
"Alright, let's get started, shall we." Officer Vanessa said to Austin, Roxanne and the S.T.A.F.F bots.
They all nodded, moving over to the shipping crates. As Austin was taking a dolly, Vanessa placed a hand on his shoulder.
"I think these crates that are containing the animatronics might a bit… too heavy for you to carry back to the trucks… maybe you should sit this one out." Vanessa said to Austin.
"What! But… Mr. Cawthon wanted me to help you… so I want to help, please, let me help." Austin said to Vanessa, begging her to let him help.
Vanessa sighed, smiling softly at him. "Alright, you can help. Just, do the ones you think you can do, alright?"
"Right! I'll be careful."
Vanessa nodded, walking away, looking at all of the shipping crates. Austin looked at the many shipping crates, wondering which ones he can carry back to the delivery trucks. After walking for a bit, taking a look at the shipping crates, he saw a small crate with a name labeled on the front of the crate.
"Balloon Boy? Hmm… maybe I can bring this one to the delivery truck." Austin said to himself.
He went to the back of the crate, putting the dolly on the bottom of the crate. Austin pulled the crate with all his might, lifting the crate up with ease. Austin, looking a bit surprised by how light the crate was, brought the crate to the delivery truck, walking up the ramp and brought the crate to the back of the truck. Austin exited the delivery truck, seeing more small crates.
"Looks like I can take these small crates while the others get the other ones." Austin said to himself, going over to the smaller crates and took them to the trucks.
After several hours of carrying heavy and not so heavy crates, they finally had one more shipping crate left.
"Phew, after so many hours, we have one more left." Vanessa said, looking at the two, stretching her back, cracking it a bit.
"Oh! I got it." Austin said, running over to the shipping crate.
As Austin approached the crate, something felt off… he didn't know why, but he approached the crate anyway. When he got to the shipping crate, he read out the name labeled on the front, 'Fredbear.'
"Fredbear? Why does that sound… familiar…" Austin said to himself.
Suddenly, he started to hear yelling and crying in his ears, causing him to cover his ears, but it only got louder. He then heard a loud crunching sound and everything went silent in his head. Austin stepped back, hyperventilating a bit. Roxanne saw what was happening, running over to him with a worried expression.
"Kid… Auzzy, what's wrong?" Roxanne said worriedly.
Austin couldn't speak for a moment, trying to calm his breathing.
"Deep breaths Auzzy, deep breaths." Roxanne said to Austin, trying to help him calm down.
After a few minutes, he finally calmed down, looking up at her.
"Are you alright? What happened?" Roxanne asked Austin.
"I… I don't know... I just read the name to myself. When I did… I suddenly heard crying and screaming in my head. I tried to cover my ears, but it only got louder... then I heard a loud… crunch sound… and everything went quiet." Austin said, sounding shaky still.
Roxanne looked at the crate, then back to Austin. "Don't worry Auzzy, I'll get this. How about you go back to the truck, that might help you calm down a bit."
"Okay… yeah."
Roxanne looked at Austin as he was going back to the vehicle. After Roxanne placed the last crate into the truck, she opened the truck door, taking a seat next to Austin as the trucks were starting to move once more. During the trip back, Austin didn't say much, wondering what had happened when he read the name on the last crate, but he wasn't sure why it happened. The delivery trucks finally made it back to the main loading bay, as Roxanne, Vanessa and Austin exited the vehicle. As they exited the vehicle, a S.T.A.F.F bot came over to them.
"Thank you for your service, we can take it from here on out." The S.T.A.F.F bot said to the three.
"What are you going to do now with the animatronics?" Roxanne asked the S.T.A.F.F bot.
"We will open each crate and bring them to parts and services, where they will get the latest technology installed in their models, as well as some other updates.
"Oh… can we see some of the animatronics now?" Vanessa asked curiously.
"Unfortunately, not in this moment of time. The animatronics can be unstable or unsafe for human interactions, but once they are finished in parts and services, they will be ready for human interactions."
"Ah, I see. So that means no sneaking around in the new pizzerias until the animatronics are good to go, got that you two?" Vanessa looked at Roxanne and Austin with a stern look.
"Not to worry Officer Vanessa, our sneaking days are over from now on." Roxanne said to Vanessa, giving Austin a secret wink.
"Good, now let's go. It's getting late and I am exhausted."
As Vanessa turned away and walked out of the loading bay, Roxanne nudged Austin, placing a hand on his shoulder, reassuring him. Austin looked up at her, giving her a little smile and the two walked out of the loading bay together.
