I was breathing hard as I made my way towards the narrow grass walkway, when out of nowhere two men with swords started running at us.
My heart gave a silent pang of regret when I heard a sharp inhale as I put merlin down.
The rhythm of fighting was so familiar and absorbing to me that I barely heard the battle cry of the army of bandits running forward. steadying my sword once more I glanced over at Merlin. The sight caught my breath.
There frightfully pale and sweat drenched Merlin laid with glowing eyes. Suddenly the ground shook as huge rocks fell from the ledge of the walkway. "MERLIN!" I rushed forward but it was too late. Merlin was gone, he had magic but most importantly, the enemy had him.
Merlin's POV
"Splash"
I gasped as the cold water hit my skin. It took a minute for my vision to clear the water but even though my sight was foggy, I could see Morgana Pendragon standing in front of me.
"Good morning"
"Is it?" My voice didn't sound good from the fever raging through my body.
"Oh, don't be like that, we have a lot of catching up to do. After all, I haven't seen you since you condemned my sister to a slow and painful death. Thwarted my plans to take over Camelot and forced me to live in a hoval.
She said all of this in one breath looking ready to murder me where I hung.
The rest was all blurred together. I said something, her cleaning the cut, the filmora digging into my head.
Then waking to the worst smell ever.
"uhhh, what is that, Arthur's socks!"
"Thank the gods your back" I glanced towards the voice to see Arthur in the far corner of the room. Gaius and Gwen standing right by me.
"Why are you all the way over there?" I turned to Gaius's for answers.
Arthur sucked in a breath then said "You mean you don't remember what happened?" There was a brief pause. "You don't remember kissing me?
