Chapter Ten.
While leaving the Oasis. Sera discovered that she could run fast, really fast. She was almost as fast as Sonic. "Wow this is amazing, now I know how Sonic feels when he's running fast!" Sera said, running on.
Silver kept running through the Oasis trees, at one point he believed he lost them. "Phew I lost them!" he thought, looking around and realized Blaze wasn't with him. "Blaze? he said. "Dam we must have got separated!" Silver thought, about to look for her. When suddenly the ground shook Silver quickly moved back as Tovah and Yorath rose out of the ground where he stood. "End of the road hedgehog!" Yorath said. "Bring it on Demons, I'm ready for you!" Silver said, ready for a fight. Silver dodged and moved around the two giant demons. He had to be very careful since there were two of them to deal with. Silver used his powers to pick up small fallen trees, logs and rocks to throw and damage the demons. He found it difficult to dodge their attacks. Eventually he brought the demon Yorath down. Yorath!" Tovah cried, watching his buddy turn into a red mist. Tovah was angry, he growled as he went into the ground. Silver sighed with relief, grateful that the battle was done. "Thank goodness. Now to find Blaze!" He said, about to head out when suddenly he was grabbed by a demon hand coming out of the ground. Silver cried and struggled as Tovah rose out of the ground again. "You miserable hedgehog, now you will pay for ending my partner!" Tovah said, raising his other hand and creating a ball of energy when Sera speeded in, leaped into the air while bringing out her sword and struck Tovah in the chest. Tovah gasped and crashed to his knees and turned into a red mist. Sera landed again and put her sword away. Silver was on his knees catching his breath. "Hey, are you okay?" Sera asked, as Silver looked up at her and stared into her ocean blue eyes. Silver had no idea who this new hedgehog was. "Uhm, I'm fine, thanks to you!" Silver said, getting up. "I'm glad. But excuse me, I must be going, Goodbye!" Sera said, speeding off. "Wait, who are you?" He cried, but she was gone. Sera kept running. "Poor Silver, he didn't even recognize me!" Sera thought, heading toward Maddalena.
Sonic was back in Maddalena. He speeds through the streets, looking for Sera. But every place he went she was not there. "Sera, where could you be?" Sonic thought, continuing the search, unaware that Sera entered the city. She rushed through the familiar streets, and no one knew who she was. Soon after Silver entered the city, looking for Blaze. "I hope blaze is here, I'm a bit worried!" Silver thought running through the streets. Not far Blaze searches the streets for him. "Silver!" She called while searching. "Where are you, Silver?" Blaze thought, about move on when. "Blaze, hey Blaze!" she heard, turning to see Amy rushing to her to her. "Oh, Hello Amy!" Blaze said. Hi yourself. What are you doing? And where is Silver?" Amy asked. "That's a good question. Silver and I got separated when we were being chased by some demons!" Blaze said. "Oh dear, well don't worry, I can help you find him. We can help each other I help you find Silver and you help me find Sonic!" Amy said. "It's a deal!" Blaze said, hand shaking. "So where should start looking first?" Amy asked. "Well, I was heading for the marketplace!" Blaze said. "The Marketplace it is!" Amy said. Soon Amy was following Blaze to the marketplace. When they got there all seemed fine. "Looks like they're not here!" Amy said, as Blaze stood and thought about where they could go next. When they heard. "Sera, Sera!" They heard. Blaze and Amy turned to see Sera's two friends Alice and Olivia looking for her. "Alice, Olivia!" Blaze said. The two girls see her. "Blaze!" Alice said, as she Olivia ran up to them. Hi Blaze, have you seen Sera?" Alice asked. "We went to her house, but no one was there!" Olivia said. Sera? Is she a human with black hair with purple ends?" Amy asked. "Yes, have you seen her?" Alice asked. "I did last night, she saved me from a demon!" Amy said, as Alice and Olivia smiled. "That's sounds like Sera!" Olivia said. "But unfortunately, I haven't seen her since!" Amy said, as the girls groaned in disappointment. Oh, where could she be?" Alice asked. "It's not like her to gone this long, I hope she's okay!" Olivia said. "I do too, and I also hope Sonic and Silver are okay too!" Amy asked. "Say, why don't you two come with me and Amy? With the four of looking together we'll have a better chance of finding them!" Blaze purposed. "Good Idea Blaze. So, what do you girl say?" Amy asked. You bet!" Alice said. With all of us looking together, we'll find them in no time!" Olivia said. "That's the spirit, just stick with us we'll lead the way!" Amy said, as the girls nodded and followed Amy and Blaze.
By the afternoon Silver made it to Maddalena's City Park. As he searched the Park, he saw the large memorial stone again. And as he looked at it, he heard clapping again. Silver walked to where the crowd stood and once again heard someone playing a guitar and singing. He looked and saw that girl hedgehog again. It's her, it's that girl hedgehog who saved me!" Silver thought, listening to her play and sing. Silver looked at the hedgehog closely and started to see images of Sera. "No way. it can't be!" Silver thought, as the song ended, and the crowd clapped. Once the crowd moved on Silver walked up to her. "Hey, nice performance!" Silver said, as Sera turned to him. Oh, thank you!" Sera said, looking at him with her ocean blue eyes. "Sera?" Silver said, as Sera gasped. It is you!" Silver said, positive she was Sera. "Hi, Silver!" She said. "Sera. What happen to you?" He asked. "To make the story short. I used this Chaos Emerald to save Sonic, Shadow and the others from being crushed and killed!" Sera told him, showing him the white Chaos Emerald. "No way that's impossible!" Silver said, looking at Sera again. "On the other maybe it's not. Sera has anyone else seen you like this?" Silver asked. No, you're the only one. Even my uncle hasn't seen me like this!" Sera said. "Don't you think he should?" Silver asked. Yes, but I'm scared to go and see him!" Sera said. "Why?" Silver asked. "I'm not sure how he's going to react or what he's going to say when he sees me like this!" Sera said, feeling scared. "Don't worry Sera, I'm sure your uncle will be understanding. After all, only your appearance has changed. You may not look human outside but inside your still the same loving girl you have always been!" Silver said, Sera smiled knowing Silver was right. "Your right Silver. Let's go find my uncle!" Sera said, about to leave when the ground shook. What now?" Silver asked, suddenly a demon hand rose out of the ground and grabbed Sera. Sera screamed as the demon Rutger rose out of the ground still holding a struggling Sera. "Sera!" Silver cried. "Hedgehog, I'm here to get revenge on you for slaying my friends and partners!" Rutger angrily said, quickly hitting Silver with an electric ball, Silver was thrown back, he shook off the pain, before looking ahead and watched Rutger move away with Sera still in his clutches. "And as for you pretty hedgehog I'll give you to our queen as a snack!" Rutger said, laughing as Sera struggled to free herself. "That's it, no more Mr. nice hedgehog!" Silver said, getting and running after Rutger.
Not far away, Sonic was still searching for Sera, when he heard the people screaming and running, as Rutger came down the street. Sonic gasped as he watched Rutger walk past him. Sonic also saw Sera still struggling in Rutger's clutches. "Who's that?" Sonic thought, seeing Silver running after Rutger. "Silver!" Sonic said, running to him. "Sonic!" Silver said, as Sonic stopped. "What's going on? Who's your new friend?" Sonic asked. "That's not a new friend Sonic, it's Sera!" Silver said, "What? Sera!" Sonic said, in shock. "Come on, we got to save her from that giant brute!" Silver said, as he and Sonic rushed to save Sera.
Shadow, Rouge and Omega travel west of the desert looking for Lilis. In the distance they could see a Rocky area. "So, any idea how we're going to find this Lilis?" Rouge asked, flying beside Shadow. "If she has a Chaos Emerald, we can pick it up using our Emerald! Shadow said, holding the red Chaos Emerald. Suddenly the Emerald reacted. Shadow came to a stop and looked at the Emerald, then he looked at the Rocky area. "Shadow?" Rouge said. There, in that Rocky area!" Shadow said. Suddenly they heard an explosion and saw smoke rising from inside the Rocky area. Shadow and Rouge looked at each other before rushing towards the Rocky area.
