So...Yeah...This is probably my main reason for creating this story as a way of revealing to my fans on Fanfiction the history of Mizzer I've made on my Fictionpress stories, doing it with a Humanimal who is isolated from her own kind in the Battle Nexus Dimension means she's at no risk of of contaminating the plot of her own universe with knowledge that is not meant yet to be known by her people and you get to discover it with her, instead of what I tried to do with previous attempts at putting a Mizzer Humanimal in a TMNT Fanfic by having the Humanimal come from a lineage that had some knowledge of the past
Finding a cozy corner and coiling her lower half Lotus began to read the book, normally she found books without any pictures to be very dull, it was often a struggle not to fall asleep during reading assignments in English class, but knowing what she knew now...Lotus was primed to pay attention to every word.
The first thing she read about was Pinky describing how she was woken up prematurely on the ride to Mizzer because a human child decided to knock on the glass 'incubation tank' that all the first Mizzer Humanimals rested in after being freshly transformed from ordinary animals...This sent a little shiver down Lotus' spine, the humans transformed their ancestors from ordinary animals...This was drilled into every young Mizzer Humanimal like propaganda since they were old enough to speak so they would always be grateful to the humans for the great gift of uplifting them from 'lowly animals' however after so many generations where Humanimals are born or hatched from eggs naturally the idea of Humanimals coming from ordinary animals really would come off more and more like a Creation myth it if weren't for the Humanimals' own genetic memories making it painfully clear to them they are not...Truly natural...The Narnia books of C.S. Lewis stated that the talking beasts of Narnia could return to ordinary beasts if they went back to animal ways...And that seemed to have always frightened the Mizzer Humanimals with the belief that such a thing was possible with them even though the Mizzer humans stated nothing of the kind!
But reading the memories of one of the first Mizzer Humanimals...Woken up early in her incubation tank thus the 'process' of transformation not fully completed so she was still able to remember the dreams she had while being transformed, mostly of psychedelic colors and feeling and incredible feeling of bliss upon waking up...Really was giving Lotus a sense that Humanimals who are transformed from ordinary animals are different from Humanimals who were born Anthropomorphic, that Humanimals who used to be ordinary animals are somewhat...Alien compared to born and bred Humanimals...But perhaps the most chilling thing she read was when Pinky overheard the girl who woke her asking if the Humanimals would like their new home, and now understanding the meaning of the word 'Home' Pinky's blissful feeling was brought down by the discord of questions...Why a new home? What was wrong with the old one? Being an Earthworm and not even having eyes before her transformation, Pinky was not in a great place to have a clue, but thinking as far back as she was able...What she was able to remember the last thing she could think of before she was transformed into a Humanimal was living as an ordinary worm in a garden shop compost barrel that she distinctly remembered being fed...Rotten human flesh…
Pinky's horror became Lotus' horror and the Snake-Girl had to close the book in fear something horrible would leap at her from the pages! It was too much! Everyone knew that their ancestors had come to Mizzer because something went wrong on Earth, even if the humans could only phrase it in the vaguest of platitudes of 'Like the Pilgrims we left in search of a better life…' While the Humanimals would never dare ask their beloved creators, the Cubs would speculate on the playground anything from a war that caused the planet to blow up in an 'Earth shattering Ka-Boom' to a Flood worse that Noah's that covered the planet with so much water it also made the planet crumble to pieces...But reading the horror of horrors that Pinky even if it was in her ordinary animal form had eaten human meat! The horror of predation...Which is in some ways more terrifying to the Mizzer Carnivores than to the Herbivores because they fear becoming monsters if they were to give into it...Lotus looked around and say Gyoji was no longer around and she felt frightened and alone…
I don't think Gyoji meant to be a jerk and abandon her he just got called to another duty and didn't think in her fragile emotional state Lotus needed constant companionship
