First things first, sorry for taking a but longer to upload, this chapter gave me some difficulty so I had to take some time to make sure what I wrote made sense and was understandable, you guys will be getting a big revelation today and I nodded to make sure you guys didn't get to lost lol.

Chapter 94.

Severa crossed her arms in a huff as she watched her friends speak and hang out with their parents, she was also looking forward to that, but unlike her friends, she had quite a few difficulties to do so, for one, her relationship with her mother was a bit strained in her timeline.

It was something caused by her because of the way she would act and think, she knew this of course, but Severa wasn't one to be able to speak honestly and instead, unintentionally lashes out in embarrassment.

It was a big flaw of hers and she didn't want to ruin her reunion with both her mother and father, but she couldn't just keep running away and decided to grit her teeth and introduce herself after thinking about it for a few moments, "hello... I'm Severa and I'm a Mercenary, my father are Stahl and my mother is... Cordelia".

Everyone turned their head towards Severa, who just glared back at everyone feeling embarrassed at the sudden attention she was getting, her friends began to nervously sweat since they knew Severa was a difficult person to get along with.

They were used to her already but, her parents weren't and they might think the wrong thing of her, that worried them quite a bit, however, both Stahl and Cordelia shared a look, they both noticed that Severa sounded harsh when she introduced herself.

But that seemed to be, because she was nervous, so both Stahl and Cordelia shared a smile and then walked up to her, which ended up making Severa very nervous, once they were in front of her, Severa narrowed her eyes and then nervously asked a question, "w-what?".

What happened next, shocked the Second Generation of the Shepherds and Severa herself, for both Cordelia and Stahl wordlessly hugged their daughter rather tightly, this made the already nervous Severa panic a bit, "w-wha? what are you guys doing?! let me go!".

But they didn't, even when Severa began to struggle a bit in their arms, they just kept hugging her tightly, until, Severa slowly began to stop struggling and then tears began to fall from her eyes, "... idiots... let go...".

Those words sounded so fake and hollow, that everyone immediately knew that she didn't want Cordelia and Stahl to let her go, but she just couldn't help but say that out of embarrassment.

Serafall suddenly widen her eyes when she realized something, "ah! she's a Tsundere!".

Serafall was then barrage by slaps to the back of her head by the Hayashi family, which caused her to cry out in pain and fall face first onto the ground, "oww! why!?".

Serafall looked up and stared in at her fellow harem sisters in betrayal, she was really confused as to why they had attacked her poor head so harshly, Artemis huffed and then pointed at Serafall, "read the room Sera, you can't just say stuff like that when there's something beautiful and serious happening in front of us".

Serafall sweatdropped in both surprised and understanding, honestly, she just kinda said the first thing that came out of her mind by accident, but her fellow harem sisters were right, she shouldn't have had an outburst like that.

I stared at poor Serafall who was being scolded by the girls now, she was lucky Sona wasn't here, or she would have really made her feel the consequences of her words, but still, I did feel a bit bad for her.

Too bad I knew better than to get in the middle of that, so when she turned to look at me for help, I just smiled and waved at her, I'm sorry Serafall, but your on you own on this one.

Ignoring Serafall's look of utter betrayal, I turned my head towards Cordelia, Stahl and Severa, the trio hadn't even heard Serafall, they were in their own little world, Severa had stopped struggling all together and was now hugging her parents tightly.

The scene made me smile, I knew from the game that Severa had a big chip on her shoulders about being Cordelia's daughter, Cordelia had become a protector of the Kingdom after she survive the battle in which Chrom died.

Because of that she had become quite famous and well known, so when Severa had been born, a lot of expectations were placed on her, expectations that overwhelmed her and made her resent her mother, Cordelia.

By that time, Stahl had died leaving Severa without the one parent that seemed to understand her, she grew even more tired of the expectations placed in her, things exploded when she found out that she didn't have any talent as a Pegasus Rider.

This made her very angry and the clear disappointment she received from everyone who expected her to be like Cordelia, hurt her quite a bit.

The real mess up thing about all of this was, that Cordelia didn't care about what Severa wanted to be, she wanted her daughter to do whatever made her happy but Severa took that as Cordelia not caring about her problems and insecurities.

The fact that Cordelia died soon after all of that happened, left Severa with so many unresolved emotions and doubts, that with that sole action of getting hugged by her parents, pretty much answered all her doubts.

Cordelia and Stahl loved her for what she is and were just happy to have her around, something that Severa seemed to have finally understand now, no words were needed, just love and understanding.

It was a very beautiful scene to be honest and it brought a smile on my face that just refused to go away.

After a few minutes, Severa was able to get her emotions in check and then went to talk to Cordelia and Stahl about herself and her friends, she seemed relaxed now and was smiling a whole lot more as well, something that made her friends very happy for her.

Inigo sighed in relief and then walked up to the group to introduce himself, "hello everyone, I'm Inigo and I'm also a Mercenary... my parents are... well it's a bit complicated actually, so bear with me here.

Things really changed a lot and let me just warn you, I'm not even the one who had the changes of this timeline hit them the most.

My mother is Olivia and my father is... well, it's Lon'qu but, well... he was also married to Lissa in my timeline...".

Everyone gaped and then turned to look at both Lissa and Olivia, who both looked very confused, Lon'qu sighed and seemed to have taken the news better than anyone, "I see... do you know the whole situation?".

Inigo turned to her father and nervously nodded, " not all of it, not really... I was only able to piece some of the situation with what my mother told me.

According to her, my father and her had a night of passion before he even started going out with Lissa, she became pregnant of me and didn't say anything to the you of the future.

You, unaware of my existence, married aunt Lissa and were very happy, my mother would tell me stories about you though, how you were a powerful swordsman with a Skill with the Quick Draw that was unmatched.

As I got older I realized that she had been talking about you, but before I could ask for confirmation, she had died in battle along with you, Aunt Lissa was the only one who survived that battle and took care of me for you guys.

Sometimes I think Aunt Lissa knew, but she never showed me any hate or mistreated me, she just took care of me like I was a second son to her".

Lissa, Lon'qu and Olivia shared a look, until Lissa smiled and then shrugged, "well, that certainly sounds like something I would do, I also think I wouldn't care either, I bet the me of that timeline wanted to protect something that was clearly from her husband".

Lon'qu nodded and sighed, "yeah, that does sound like you".

Olivia nodded in agreement and then nervously laughed, "yeah, that also sounds like something I would do as well, I think the me of that timeline didn't want to hurt her friends and kept quiet, though I also think she was happy with the way things ended up".

Inigo nodded, "she was, mother was always happy and smiling, she was also a very close friend to both of you, to the point that I consider your son my brother, well, we are brothers but you know what I mean".

Lissa smiled and nodded, "I see, so the me from your timeline was married to Lon'qu..., it seems so strange to think about".

Lissa then suddenly widen her eyes when she realized something, "wait, wait, wait... if I was married to Lon'qu... and you mentioned a son, then who is he? and what happened to Robin?".

Inigo began to nervously sweat not knowing how to explain all of that situation, but luckily for him, Owain stepped up and decided to explain a bit, "well, that is more complicated than Inigo's situation.

But first let me introduce myself! mother!".

Owain then, dramatically put a hand over his face and did a heroic pose while loudly introducing himself, "I am Owain! Swordmaster and wielder of the most accursed and powerful sword of Black flames! my mother is Lissa and Lon'qu!".

Everyone, except Serafall and Lucina, who were clapping at Owain, deadpanned at him, that whole introduction and title was way out there and no ine knew how to react, I in the other hand, snorted a bit.

I had forgotten about this particular quirk of Owain, the dude was a Chunnibyo, a Japanese colloquial term typically used to describe early teens who have grandiose dilusions, who desperately want to stand out, and who have convinced themselves that they have hidden knowledge or secret powers.

It translates to middle-second syndrome, it is sometimes called eighth-grader syndrome as well in the United States, usually in the context of localizations of anime in which feature the concept as a significant plot element.

honestly, this is what made Owain such a fun character, though it did make him over bearing at times but other than that, he was pretty much a cool dude, Lissa turned her head towards me and gave me a ' are you serious look' to which I only responded with a shrug, though I did give her a smirk as well, the glare she gave me was hilarious, after she glared at me for a few seconds, she then turned her attention to her son who was still posing, "err... okay, I'm going to ignore that for now, now come over here and let me get a good look at you".

Owain suddenly lost all the confidence he just showed us and gained a nervous look, it was at this moment that I remembered why exactly Owain would act so chunni sometimes.

Lon'qu die in one of the battles against Grima that happened after the one were Chrom died, so Owain grew up without a father figure, he had to somehow cope with that and he did so by creating all kinds of delusions, the fact that Lissa fed his young mind with all sort of crazy battle stories of the Shepherds and his father, didn't help either.

But, he also learned that by acting like that he could alleviate tension and make his friends and family smile, the Lissa of that timeline found it amusing and that pushed Owain to act up even more.

But, it was all a show to hide how scare he really was, Owain, just like all the other members of the Second Generation of the Shepherds had insecurities and doubts after all, when the Lissa of his timeline died trying to protect a town.

Things for Owain spiraled out of control and he let his delusions take over his life, it's a sad thing really, Owain now had his mother in front of him and it was only natural that he was very nervous at being in front of her.

Despite having let his delusions take over his life, Owain was very well aware how that was not a good thing and I guess he was nervous as to what his mother would say about it.

But Lissa, being the kind and caring person she is, walked over to Owain when she saw him getting nervous and hesitant, when she got in front of her son, Lissa stood on her toes and gave Owain a headpat, "you look tired and skinny... you must have been through a lot huh?".

Poor Owain, he couldn't hold it anymore and hugged Lissa tightly as he began to cry, he tried so hard to hold in his sobs, but he failed.

No one however said anything about it and just let him cry his pain away, Lon'qu sighed and shook his head, he looked worried for his son of course, but he was not good at dealing with things like these so he was a bit lost as to what to do.

Luckly for him, his wife Olivia and Inigo pushed him forward towards Lissa and Owain, poor guy looked both betrayed and confused as to what to do, but Lissa grabbed him by the shirt and made him hug Owain, who was still crying on her mother's shoulder.

Lon'qu glared at Lissa, but she just stuck her tongue out to him in response, which got him to sigh and roll his eyes at her, but he quickly went back to hugging his distraught son.

I smiled at the scene, sure, things were a bit confusing and crazy for sure, in the timeline where Owain and Inigo come from, Lissa and Lon'qu were married and Olivia raised Inigo by herself, despite him being born out wedlock from a night of passion with Lon'qu.

In this timeline, Olivia and Lon'qu were married and Lissa was married to Robin, which made the whole thing weird and awkward at first, but I had explained how things might be different with the timeline the children of the Shepherds came from before everyone met.

So everyone was both mentally and emotionally prepared for any surprises, still, this left many questions in the air, especially with the last of the future Children of the Shepherds.

After a while, Owain calmed down and seemed more relaxed now, he momentarily stopped his chunni act in favor of speaking with Lissa, Lon'qu, Inigo and Olivia, despite the circumstances, they all look like a very happy and complete family.

However, everyone's attention soon fell on the last of the Second Generation of the Shepherds, Lucina, Morgan and Cynthia.

The trio was of course taken aback at the sudden attention they were receiving and jumped in surprise, which made everyone sweatdrop, we really didn't mean to make them jump like that.

But we were quite curious about their situation, it was clear that whatever was going on with the three of them, was both something really confusing and complicated, soon enough Morgan scratched her head and sighed, "I know, I know... it's our turn, but to be honest? we don't even know where to begin".

Cynthia nodded and then said, "plus! our situation has changed a lot, especially with how different things are in this timeline, we don't want to make anyone uncomfortable or confused them more than what they already are".

Well fuck, this does not bode well for everyone involved, I had noticed that Lucina seemed rather evasive with her emotions and interactions with the Shepherds until now, but I just thought it was because she didn't want to change the future or something.

Now though, I think there's something else going on here, Lucina sighed and then nodded to both of her sisters, she then stepped up and began to speak up about ther unique and strange situation, "... okay, I hope you guys can take this information well... here's it is, Cynthia is daughter of Sumia and Chrom.

But Morgan and I?... our mother is another woman, one that was married to father first, that woman was... Robin...".

Everyone and I mean everyone not part of the Second Generation of the Shepherds did a double take at what Lucina just said, then we all turned our heads towards both Robin and Chrom, we then proceeded to stared at them in complete shock.

Even I, who was aware of how timeliness worked and knew how different they could be, I was stunned at what I heard, but things made a lot more sense now, why Lucina seemed so apprehensive about speaking about her parents and timeline at first.

It most have been shocking to find out that the Robin in this timeline is a male, the sheer level of mental fortitude she must have, in order to not have a panic attack the first time she saw him must have been out of this world.

I mean, holy shit, her mother was Robin and she was also married to Chrom!? does this mean that Lucina and Morgan might not be born in this timeline? or will they be born but with Sumia being their mother? damn, this is too complicated.

No wonder Lucina, Morgan and Cynthia didn't want to speak about all of this, suddenly, Sumia hugged Chrom from behind and pulled him away from Robin, which surprised everyone, no had one expected her to do something so random like that.

The fact that she was now glaring at Robin suspiciously, made us understand what she was feeling right, which made Robin sweatdropped, after all, I doubt he has any plans to steal Chrom from her.

However, Lissa decided to complicate things even further by pointing at Chrom and then loudly say, "no! you stay away from my hubby Chrom! I'm not going to let my brother steal him! never!".

This is ridiculous... and now everyone was caught between looking flabbergasted or laughing their asses off, I don't even know what to say or do in a situation like this.

Chrom gaped at Lissa and immediately shook his head at high speed while trying to push Sumia away so he could explain himself, which was super difficult, because Sumia was using all her strength to hold on for dear life, Robin deadpanned at his wife and sighed, "Lissa, I doubt Chrom wants to steal me away...".

Lissa turned her head towards Robin so hard, that's she scared us thinking she might have snapped it, but it seems like that wasn't the case, because Lissa immediately began to explain herself, "huh!? but I've read books about men having forbidden love relationships! and your so small and cute and breedable! Chrom can't resist that!".

Robin stared at Lissa completely speechless and unable to even compute the words she just vomited to his face, what she just said was so far out there, that no one could have been mentally prepared for such words.

But then Sumia decided to add to the fire, by speaking up next, '"yeah! Chrom and Robin spend so much time together already! I can't let this happened! Chrom is mine!".

I had to face palm at all of this, just what the hell is going on through these two minds?, this is beyond ridiculous, "... where exactly did you guys learned about all of this? where did you even find those books anyways?".

Sumia and Lissa suddenly pointed at Risa, who was trying her best to hide behind Itami, everyone immediately turned their attention at her and stared her down hard, which made her jump in fright.

Itami gulped and slowly moved away from Risa to get away from the looks she was getting, leaving a very flustered and nervous Risa on her own, I really can't believe this, "... why?".

Risa flinched at my question and began to panic, "ah! well... they were really curious about what kind of books I was writing... so I gave them some to try! but I didn't think they would take them so seriously! I swear".

... Sweet merciful Astraea, Gaea and Excalibur!... why? just why did Risa had to corrupt Sumia and Lissa like that? I turned my head towards Chrom, Sumia, Lissa and Robin and stared as both wives were trying to push Robin and Chrom as far away from each other as possible.

"... why can't we have an easy time with things like these?", we really can't catch a break, can't we?.

It took quite a while, but we were able to eventually have both Lissa and Sumia calm down, though itntook a bit of convincing from Robin and Chrom, but Sumia and Lissa were finally able to accept that Robin nor Chrom liked each other that way.

They were bros and that's was it, though I think both Lissa and Sumia will be keeping a close eye on these two for a while, I'm also going to have to talk to Risa about her books.

We can't let her keep corrupting our female friends with her boy love literature, but anyways, it was time for Lucina and her sister to really explain the situation, so when everything calm down, Lucina stepped forward once again and told us about their families situation, "father and mother got married after the defeat of King Gangrel.

In those three years of peace I was born a few months after the war and Morgan a year later, we were happy, both Ylisse and Plegia were at peace and things were going smoothly for the Shepherds.

Then... we were invaded by the Warlord Wallhart, Ylisse along its allies went to war and conflict drown the continents for years.

After years of fighting, Wallhart was defeated but at the cost of the stability of all the kingdoms, along with so many loses on all fronts, many of the Shepherds were severely injured and their fighting ability was crippled.

Grima soon after that war, took advantage of the Kingdoms' weakened state to finally attack... the constant battles and war, gave Grima all the dead bodies it needed to raise an enormous army of Risen and with that Army, Grima attacked us all.

The Kingdoms fought hard and tried to push back the Army of Risen, but they were too weakened and had endure too many losses, in the end, one by one, the Kingdoms began to fall.

Then, my mother, Robin, found out that Plegia was serving as base for Grima and it's forces, father hoping to end Grima's attack on the world set out with the Shepherds and faced against Grima in Plegia...

The Shepherds however... failed and many of them died trying to get the survivors to escape, my father survived but was severely crippled and heartbroken, mother had gone missing during the battle and no one saw her again.

Mother Sumia, still caring for father, helped him cope with the loss of mother Robin, helped raise me and Morgan and eventually, Father married mother Sumia, nine months later, Cynthia was born and thus Ylisse got its three warrior princesses.

But Grima continued its conquest of the world, the more people its forces killed, the more Risen it would get for its Army, it was a never ending struggle, eventually, the Kingdoms fell, one by one, they were all destroyed by Grima.

Ylisse was the last, it endure a constant barrage of attacks, day and night Ylisse fought to defend its capital and its people, until one night, Ylisse fell and my father was slain.

The survivors fled the capital and took refuge in forts scattered around Ylisse, in those fortresses, we, the Second Generation of the Shepherds grew up and were taken care of by the survivors of the Original members of the Shepherds.

But little by little, they all died as well, Grima hunted down each and every member of the Original Shepherds, until there was only us, their children, once we became old enough, we continued the fight in place of our parents.

But even then, the world had already lost against Grima, there was almost nothing left to protect or fight for, so, when Naga came to us and offered us a chance to right history and change things, we took it".

Lucina sighed and shook her head in sadness, her eyes took on a very sad look and she seemed rather tired at this moment, talking about all of this must have made her relive it, it must be really hard for her.

Lucina looked up and then nervously smiled at her parents, including Robin, "and then, here we are, things didn't go exactly as planned of course.

Naga did warn us that things would probably be different, we just didn't imagine it would be this much, plus we were all scattered when we arrived in this timeline, lost and confused, we all sort of tried to search for each other.

But ended up settling down in towns and other places while protecting them, until things, once again, began to change.

For starters, Rean and his Pokémon were never mentioned by any of our parents, he was a new person, a very powerful one and that made me very nervous, but I learned right away that he was a true ally and friend... it was you who changed history so much, right Rean?".

Lucina stared at my eyes and I couldn't help but give her an honest answer, she more than deserves my honesty in all of this, though there are some things I can't really tell her, but I was more than willing to speak to her about most of everything she wanted to know.

So I nodded to her and then spoke up, "that's right... I wasn't sure at first, but when the Naga of this timeline showed up and explained some things to us, I knew what was going on right away.

I knew something was off with the way the Risen and you arrived on this timeline that night so long ago, the Portal which you arrived in, felt like a Manipulation of time and space.

But at the time, I was more worried about the Risen, who were beginning to show up, more and more, then I grew even more suspicious when you began to appear almost everywhere we went.

When you told Chrom that you knew of the future, of things to come, I then realized you were a time traveler and given that you lost your mask, I also realized you were Chrom's daughter from the future".

Lucina sighed and then giggled to herself, "I see, so you knew something was off even back then... I thought I was being very discreet and everything".

"You were, it's only because of who I am that I was able to sense and realised things, no one else realized anything, but when I did understood that you were from the future and you were trying to prevent something from happening, I decided to stop holding back in my help and support".

Chrom looked over to me and then spoke up as he realized something, "wait, that's why you been more proactive with your Pokémon, weapon making and training of us!".

I smiled and nodded to Chrom, confirming his words, "that's right, with what Naga told us and with what I have realised, I decided that playing it carefully went out the window right away.

There was no need to hide or hold back, so I've been giving all of these preparations everything I have, though that seems to have back fired a bit, since Grima is working on some rather nasty surprises becauseof my Pokémon's and my involvement.

Thankfully, my Pokémon, Kunou and Wiene have put a stop to its plans, or at least slow down their progress, but I plan to fight on this war at full power from the start, the training all of you are getting, is so I can fight without any worries.

I can go into battle knowing full well that all of you will survive any surprises Grima might have, that's why I've been so harsh on all of you, after this war, I want each and everyone of you to live a happy and peaceful life though".

Everyone from the Shepherds and the Second Generation of the Shepherds smiled at me, though the looks of thanks and appreciation made me feel a bit embarrassed, I was actually pretty happy to be able to ensure all of my friends survive whatever is to come.

Now, with everyone reunited with their future children, we can finally begin the final preparations for our upcoming battle with Grima, we have a few things to do first of course.

Like having the Second Generation of the Shepherds reach the level of power the Shepherds now have, have them get used to modern time and equip them with new gear, but it won't take too long for them to be ready.

Soon Grima will begin whatever plans it has to conquer the world of the Shepherds, but we will be prepared, the Fell Dragon will fail, that's a promise.

And done.
