Author's Note: Hey everyone nice to see you again it's me It's been a while huh I've thought about where I wanted to take the story. I thought about what I wanted from the protagonist I watched Pokemon Journeys and played Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. This new era of chapters will evolve from me trying to make Pizookie, Roto and his pokemon have character.
Pizookie awakens in a hospital bed. He looks around before he starts coughing heavily. Soft beeps are coming from a monitor whale out his coughs. He slowly attempts to get up before he hears a voice.
"Zappers Pizookie you wake up fast".
Roto slowly stares at Pizookie with a cheerful face, but than slowly frowns as they tackle him into a warm hug.
"Where are we exactly"?
"Redding California".
Pizookie smiles at Roto before he continues to cough. Roto didn't really mind as the Pokedex continued onward with their hug. Pizookie looks around before Roto quickly grabs the tv remote turning on the tv.
Roto then automatically turns the channel to the Pokemon Battles in Real-time. A Tv show about trainers battling others.
Pizookie smiles at the nostalgic feeling as he watches a Combee fighting a starvia. He thinks back to how he'd always force his mother, father, and sister to watch Pokemon battles. Sometimes they'd show champions like Red and Blue fighting in exotic places.
Other times they'd show regular grunt battles of two newby trainers with pokemon like the common rattata and a geodude. Gritting his teeth Pizookie realizes something as his face slowly morphs into a dreadful one.
"Roto where's Eon where's everyone how'd I get here are the other pokemon safe"?
Roto smiles as they slowly float out of the room.
"THAT DIDN", Pizookie coughs harder as he tries to get up.
It almost feels like decades as these questions ring in through Pizookie's head. Realistically it's only been thirty minutes before Roto comes back into the room with Eon dashing in hopping on top of Pizookies stomach.
"EVOI EVOI"!
Eon's tail wags happily as he nustles Pizookie. The next to come into the room is a nurse joy who looks at Pizookie; with a familiar face.
Pizookie's eyes widen almost stunned that he'd ever see her on his journey.
"What's a matter little brother you look like you got hit by a train".
"Butterscotch"?
"The one and only".
"How'd when'd why'd".
"You need some rest Pie I'll explain everything tomorrow".
Pizookie didn't question his sister he never truly did. How could he? It was Butterscotch the sibling that made everyone proud. The one who dazzled everyone with her beautiful pokemon performances.
So why would he dare to question her she obviously was right. He tried to get up, but he couldn't at all. Eventually, when she was sure Pizookie was comfortable she left the room.
Roto never left the room and instead stayed by Pizookie's side constantly. Making sure the boy was at least well-rested.
"How'd you get into contact with my sister"?
"I called your parents and they gave a panicked response calling on Butterscotch instantly".
"You guys found me"?
"No Officer Jenny found you knocked out alongside your team of pokemon moving quickly to get out of the forest fire".
"The pokemon"?
"Well everyone survived at least all the pokemon with you survived".
"My team"?
"All of them are recovering fine at the pokemon center just a little beaten up".
"Well that's good to hear".
"ZZZZ ZAPtastic Pizzzzoookie we were all really worried about you".
"How long was I out for"?
"Three days only three days".
"Oh thank goodness".
Roto awkwardly looks at Pizookie for a bit before they float closer and hug him.
"Pizzzokie I'm sorry I couldn't be of use".
"Wha what's talking about nobody could have expected a woman teleporting people".
Pizookie gives a warm smile before he slowly starts to drift off to sleep once again.
Eventually, a day passes before Pizookie is able to get up and stand. He automatically dashes to the pokemon center.
He waits for what feels like forever, but in actuality is only five minutes. Roto and Butterscotch follow behind.
Six pokeballs are on the table and several pokemon Pizookie recognizes await him. Pizookie smiles as Eon and Peeky automatically come out.
Jumping on his shoulder and head respectively. Pizookie stares at his other pokeballs before he can legitimately process the final ultra ball.
A teddiursa runs towards him with an angry scowl. Pizookie smiles at the teddiursa warmly he then turns over the nurse joy.
"Hey, where are all the other pokemon".
"Oh they all got better pretty quickly every pokemon in your section of the forest fire made it out alive".
Pizookie's eyes grow heavy before he gives an enthusiastic thumbs up the likes of which would make an anime protagonist proud.
"OH YEAH I'M REALLY CLOSE NOW TO AUAUUUAUAUAUUA"!
As Pizookie shouted his words like a crazy madman he got attacked by teddiursa who found his outburst annoying.
Eon smiles while Peeky sighs in their respective pokemon languages.
Pizookie pulls teddiursa off and smiles at him.
"You doing well".
The bear cub pokemon nods as he looks away from Pizookie.
"So where are you gonna go now"?
The bear pokemon hopped out of the boys hand and walked towards a pokeball.
As he speaks Roto starts to translate for everyone in the room.
"You morons saved me now you morons have to deal with me".
With this surprisingly he clicks another pokeball that's Pizookie's and it rings three times finally before Roto states in their mechanical voice.
"Teddursa has been registered to your pokedex alongside error data zero zero ZERO".
Pizookie alongside Butterscotch and Nurse Joy stare at the final pokeball. Pizookie instantly looks at the ultra ball before coming to the realization.
