Pizookie and Eon entered the giant mansion with a pretty big idea of what they were expecting inside. Therefore; the duo were hit by a brick when they found that the mansion was colorful and more decorative than anything they've seen.
This part of the mansion was delicate with alot of fairy type objects. Many pink ribbons alongside tons of different fairy type plushies of pokemon were littered around this floor. They walked up to a receptionist who was behind a rainbow colored desk.
Taking a good look at her one could easily tell she was overworked and phoning in a happy cheerful demeanor.
"Hello Sir welcome to the Rakasha gym mansion of four gym leaders each with their own floor". She takes a deep breathe almost overly dramatic to the point of hilarity and then continues.
"Can I help you find the gym leader you want to challenge today"?
Not wasting anytime and with a more confident gleam to his face Pizookie retorts; "Of course are any of them available"?
The receptionist takes a look she slams a computer straight on the desk; almost to the point of where Pizookie and Eon think she might've broken it.
"Yes Mr. Mist the Dark type gym leader is open today".
"I'll let him know you're coming up and go to the elevator to the left up me and go to the second floor".
"Understood"! Pizookie and Eon dash to the elevator and proceed to do what she exactly told them.
When the elevator open it reveals a pitch black room. Almost to pitch black it's like everything in the room is painted black with no sunlight at all. This doesn't phase Eon in the slightest as the fox pokemon dashes into the room.
Pizookie shortly follows afterwards. Looking through and now with the elevator door closing they find out that the room is completely pitch black. Eon and Pizookie look around before Eon shouts.
"EVOI EEEE"!
Leaving an echo behind Pizookie follows up by asking his own set of generic questions.
"Mr. Mist are you here"?
"Mr. Mist can you come out".
"I'd like to request a gym battle".
" please come out"!
Pizookie and Eon were obviously getting bored of their predicament; talking into the void does that to any sane human or pokemon. So the two decided that they would go in further to atleast find out what was going on in the gym.
Proceeding forward Pizookie and Eon trip over something hard. This hard thing then reveals it's eyes revealing that it's a sableye.
The sableye;s red eyes beam right into the duos soul before the dark type laughs at them hard. It cackles and cackles and cackles as Pizookie and Eon get into a defensive battle like stance.
But before the two can even attempt to attack the sableye they're both fall to the ground in pain.
"I thought I was actually dealing with a competent trainer and his pokemon looks like Penthuis was wrong about you".
They hear a voice say the voice sounds deep, but stealthy like it's trying to conceal its identity.
In the darkness the duo hear a clap before beautiful purple lights illuminate the room. Revealing it to actually be all black walls alongside chairs and stands.
In the middle of the room lied a stadium of with a pokeball symbol inbetween it. Pizookie angry stands back up alongside Eon who puffs his chest.
"Who are you calling incompetent you blind sided us".
Pizookie was fuming of course one would be fuming if they were just attacked and made fun of throughout the whole day; not to mention this guy just insulted him and any work he had put in being a pokemon trainer.
Mist appeared behind Pizookie with Pizookie turning around he noticed that Mist wore a black on black ninja attire. He looked like the type of person to take being a ninja extremely seriously. Standing over seven feet tall he truly eclipsed the young trainer and his pokemon.
"Incompetent my butt we got three badges and we worked hard for them".
Mist eyed Pizookie who was currently giving him the stink eye. He scanned the boy up and down taking into account many different things about his appearance.
He then came to a easy to find conclusion.
"You're Butterscotch's brother aren't you"?
"What why does that even matter"?
The adult male stared at Pizookie with a serious face his eye twitched as if to make a are you serious expression. He deeply breathed in and then out.
"How could Butterscotches brother be this incompetent and foolish; guess the family could only produce one true genius".
This sent Pizookie and Eon over the edge as Pizookie pulled out his pokeball and yelled like a mankey.
"How HOW DARE YOU I CHALLENGE YOU TO A POKEMON BATTLE"!
Mist stared and then without changing his expression at all he snapped his fingers revealing a audience. An audience that got pretty personal as Penthuis, Professor Redwood, and Butterscotch even Roto appeared.
"I'm gonna humiliate you and your pokemon in front of all the people who think you have a modicum of talent".
Many people in the crowd cheered with Penthuis giving a stern and serious look. Butterscotch and Leafy just smiled at Pizookie and Eon from the stands.
"ZZZT how in Arceus"?
Without question a referee appears and Pizookie and Eon somehow get teleported to the darkly illuminated battlefield.
The referee straightens her tie and smiles a almost corporate smile that Pizookie swears he'd see in a Britain mini tournament match that included dynamax.
"Now let me make myself clear; this will be a four on four battle the gym leader CAN'T change pokemon however the challenger can change pokemon the battle will be over once all pokemon on one side have been defeated or if the challenger forfeits the match".
"You may began"!
"You already disappointed me so I'll go first"; Mist says acting like its not the job of the gym leader to send out their pokemon first.
"Eliminate them with perversion Cacturne"
Throwing out a dusk ball the cactus pokemon comes out being shaded in shadow. The pokemon stares like a rabid animal at Pizookie and Eon.
"That's nothing"; Pizookie says glaring at the deadly cactus pokemon. "Lets get this started show em what you're made of Sweetie"!
Sweetie gets summoned from her pokeball and jumps out; she instantly gets intimidated by the big cactus pokemon eyeing her up and down.
It seems like Pizookie is about to enter a battle that will test him physically and mentally. Will Pizookie be able to defeat Mist and claim another gym badge in his collection, or will he stumble and prove everything that Mist says about him right. As the journey continues.
