Pizookie and Toughie look towards the newly mega evolved sableye like a god. Alongside the pokemon's eyes and giant gym is darkened scarlet haze staring directly at the behemoth of a gyarados.
"Seeing his mega sableye again after all this time…; almost takes me back straight to my gym challenge". Butterscotch eyes the sableye attempting to keep her composure, but before she knows it small tears drop from her eyes.
Penthuis watches onward with no words coming from his mouth; many of the commentators began to start cheering hard for the gym leader. Roto snaps a picture of the mega evolved pokemon before they fly over to Butterscotch.
"ZZZT I gotta go"!
"Really right now"?
"No I zzz I gotta go outside and make a call; I wouldn't wanna make anyone anxious after the call I'll be back okay".
"Just hurry before Pizookie notices you're gone".
"It's a simple execution of course simple minded trainers like yourself wouldn't know that would you Pizookie"?
Pizookie breathes hard; it's as if a hammer just smacked him over the head. He gets an uneasy feeling as he gulps.
"We ain't finished yet; Toughie use tackle"!
"Always playing into others Sableye will o wisp"!
Toughie herself begins to shake heavily at the raw aura power from the mega evolution. Pizookie always described mega evolutions as pokemon getting a huge power boost from the bond with it's trainer.
"Toughie, Metallic if we get mega stones you'll fill like you just got a huge boost to your overall body it'll be the coolest".
"Mega evolution alongside Z Moves Dynamax and Terra forms provide Super power up to a pokemon".
Seeing one up close almost made Toughie wanna back away alongside her trainer. But she boldly stood definite against all odds. She wasn't a punk; she promised her gang the next time they'd see her she'd be tough she'd be a TOUGHIE.
With a mighty Roar Toughie extended her body and charged right at the sableye. No she fluently attacked the mega pokemon attempting to finish it off with a hard crash; sadly this pokemons defenses were in a completely different ball park.
The crowd watched on in delight as with Sableye's giant crystal; he blocked the gyarados almost too casually.
Purple fire spewed out his mouth crashing into Toughie and immediately burning her hard. Causing the giant pokemon to move backwards away from the sableye. Whispers and murmurs echo in the distance.
Pizookie breathes heavily knowing exactly how Mist just crippled Toughie. The young trainer considers his options on what exactly he could do. He thinks about calling out to Roto in the stands.
But the murmurs stop him dead in his tracks. Considering that Peeky is tired and not thinking Sweetie could do any better against the mega pokemon he ultimately decides that keeping out Toughie is his best bet.
"Your move wouldn't have worked anyways".
Pizookie's thoughts get interrupted by this declaration before he realizes what actually happened.
When Sableye mega evolves it becomes a dual ghost/dark type. Pizookie smacks his head before he focuses back on Toughie who sizzles up due to burn. She breathes heavily, wincing but winking at her trainer.
"We ain't done yet Toughie slam, him with waterfall now"!
"Push her away with a dark pulse".
Toughie's body gets covered in a raging waterfall as she once again attempts to dash at the mega mon. Meanwhile out of his red eyes comes a beautiful darkened red beam.
Toughie tries to maneuver around the beam; however, due to her big body she ends up in a struggle. This struggle in particular was trying to overpower the dark pulse beam in her desperate crusade towards her opponent .
This battle gets more tense as Toughie holds on through a burn while also taking direct damage from the dark pulse she's fighting off. Through sheer willpower she inches closer and closer until she's right in front
But ironically just like Team Aqua and Magma her wish came true only to crash and burn, for as soon as she makes contact with the sableye she gives out from the burns.
The referee scans Toughie before blurting out; "Toughie is unable to battle the battle i send out your next pokemon after retrieving Toughie".
Pizookie grits his teeth as he thinks about what exactly Peeky or Sweetie could do to turn this around.
He's not giving up easily though as Eon cheers Pizookie up by barking at him.
"Right great work Toughie return"!
Pizookie quickly sends out Peeky. The yellow rodent stares down the Sableye.
Unknown to Pizookie many people began to leave the stands.
"Peeky I know you're tired, but we can't give up lets take this guy out".
Peeky stands on his hind legs to meet the gaze of his trainer giving a reassuring nod. The pikachu's face immediately becomes stoic afterwards.
"Shadow claw now"!
"Peeky use thunderbolt".
Peeky sends yellow lighting out of his body aiming directly at the Sableye. As the thunderbolt goes straight for him, sableye blocks the attack using the giant gem as a shield .
He sloppily runs towards the pikachu while his hands turn into a ghostly white. Pizookie acts quickly.
"Peeky dodge it by using quick attack"!
Peeky does just that his body glows white as he jumps upward setting Peeky up for his next attack.
Pizookie never thought Peeky would be this clever until several words spill out of his opponents mouth.
"End this Rock tomb".
"Peeky use floaty fall"; Pizookie says in a frantic tone.
Peeky summons a cloud from underneath him carrying the pokemon upwards. This plays right into the trap as Sableye points his hands right where Peeky's about to start falling.
Summoning multiple rocks before Peeky can launch himself down he gets crushed landing on the ground with a hard thud.
Of course that's a knockout. Pizookie runs on the stage and moves the rocks away from his pikachu.
He pats him on the head as he looks up towards the stand.
Not that many people are left besides his sister, Professor Redwood and that's it. This causes Pizookie to go stiff.
Interrupting his thoughts, Mist starts to chuckle just a bit. "Just pathetic send out your last you can't win".
Pizookie chucks his last pokeball coming straight out of the ball Sweetie stares at the shakened up Pizookie.
Slowly she panics looking directly at the mega evolved pokemon Sweetie slowly but surely calms herself.
Sweetie nods to her trainer before getting into a fighting stance. Pizookie nods his head.
"Let's rock and roll Sweetie use rapid spin and then follow it up with a razor leaf"!
"Use shadow claws now"!
Sweetie spins around hard, quickly activating a speedy move dodging the shadow claw. Due to it being a normal type move Sweetie goes straight inside the mega sableye avoiding its giant gem.
Going straight through allows Sweetie to get behind the sableye where she instantly follows up on her trainers commands.
Blasting magical light green leaves out of her hand sableye swiftly moves blocking the leaves with his gym.
"Keep pushing use a rapid spin razor leaf combo now"!
"Attack them with dark pulse now"!
Sweetie spins around as black beams come from sableye's eyes. Dodging around and boosting her speed she jumps behind sableye once more shooting mutiple leaves.
In response to this Sableye whips around blocking the leaves with the gems. Knowingly Pizookie thinks about what exactly he could do to break the defense.
"We're not giving up Sweetie let's show them everything we have let's show them all type wild"!
Sweetie nods her head before going back to Pizookie and nuzzling him. She then gets back on the dimly lit battlefield.
"Go for it use razor leaf"!
"Your wasting your time use dark pulse now"!
Sweetie focuses her eyes directly onto the megalomanic of a sableye she eyes it down.
Her hands form into a closing position where she collects green light for the standard razor leaf; however, this green light changes into a green light with pink swirls around it. She alongside Sableye fire their respective attacks at each other.
With both of them closing a explosion that sends Sweetie flying back, landing right next to her trainer.
Gritting her teeth she stands right back up while the Sableye gives a sinister smile at her.
"We ain't down Sweetie just learned magical leaf and that means we ain't stoppin".
Pizookie eyes Sweetie who stands determined in her mission to overcome the hurricane that was mega sableye.
The room goes silent for one split second before both trainer erupt with moves for their pokemon.
"Try finding a weak spot with sweet scent now"!
"While she's messing around use will o wisp go".
Activating Sableye's prankster ability the Stenee gets struck with several purple flames that light up the room around everyone. She becomes burned while she starts spinning around illuminating pink gas.
Biting his thumb Pizookie goes straight in for a money shot.
"Knock it's gem away with magical leaf now"!
"Use rock tomb now".
As both pokemon fire attacks it's obvious due to the speed boost that Sweetie gets her off faster.
She shoots several green, pinkish leaves that start to actually do damage to the mega behemoth of a pokemon.
This in term causes what Pizookie wanted for the sableye to drop his gem stone. Thinking this assures his victory Pizookie yells.
"Go for it finish it with magical leaf".
"Heh you fool finish this now hit her with shadow claw".
Using her speed Sweetie fires off the magical leaves with sharp precision. To the surprise of Pizookie and Sweetie Sableye began to dodge.
He dodges one and then another; and then another and the rest of them until he slams his claw straight into Sweetie's chest knocking out Sweetie automatically.
"And with that all of Pizookie's pokemon are unable to battle the winner of this battle is Mist the gym leader".
Pizookie returns his Sweetie to her pokeball gritting his teeth. He looks away from the the giant gym leader who chuckles at him. Eon growls in response to the chuckling.
"Just like I said incompetent fool who doesn't understand how to use his pokemon well; your basic battling style is pathetic and you'll never be a good trainer fool like you likely die on your journeys you should just give up".
Pizookie picked up Eon and ran to the same elevator he came in not looking back until he slammed into the office desk lady talking to another kid.
