OUTSIDE WITH MIRABEL
The reaper that accosted Mirabel was waiting by his scary portal for potentially anyone wanting to go back to Ooo after getting their magic powers, and saw little Mirabel skipping out the Hall all smiles and surrounded by a few butterflies.
Reaper: *Chuckles* Sooo, got what you wanted little girl?
Child Mirabel: Yup, and i'm ready to go home senor reaper.
Reaper: *Chuckles again, then gestures at the portal* Then step right up, the exit's-
Both suddenly heard the Troll twins screaming from the Hall
Child Mirabel: *Jumps at the screams* What was that? Did you hear that Senor Reaper?
Reaper: *Chuckles* I sure did. Sounds like the 2 trolls you've been working with took the pledge of ultimate responsibility, what morons.
Child Mirabel: Pledge of ultimate responsibility? What's that?
Reaper: It's the pledge you make to get the final wizardry star. *Chuckles* It's also a trap to get naive, power hungry idiots like those trolls to use their magic to prevent the Hall's destruction. *Points at the sky* Just look up there and you'll see what i mean.
Mirabel did and gasped. Up in the sky, some distance from the building was a giant asteroid heading their way... Or at least it looked like it was heading their way, for some reason it didn't look like it was getting any closer, it was just stuck to its spot, but still leaving a blazing trail behind it. How she didn't notice it sooner was beyond her. The excitment of acquiring magic powers must have been distracting her from anything else.
Child Mirabel: Wha...? Bu...? How...?
Reaper: That thing's been heading for this temple for the last 847 years. Only the magic of the ultimate wizards keeps it from getting any closer, those who took this pledge i've told you about and earned the final star. The catch is, once they focus all their magic on keeping it immobile, they can't stop, they're all forced to keep it that way or we all die in a fiery blaze from the heaven.
Child Mirabel: *Glares* So This is what all the giving away of magic was about? The wizard training was about?! *Hands sparking with magic at her anger* You tricked us! How could you do that to use?! To all those that come to you.
Reaper: *Shrugs* Hein, it's all for the sake of the Great Hall, and all those who live here. Besides, i don't see why you're taking it so personally, you can still leave and enjoy the knew magic you acquired, isn't it what you wanted?
Child Mirabel: But its not what Wendy and Walter wanted! There's gotta be a better way to deal with this?
Reaper: Nope. This is how the ancient ones wanted it.
When the reaper said that, it caused me to have a flashback of my Abuela, all hard face and looking down with a superior look, always believing she was right and the others were wrong, it made me really angry.
Child Mirabel: *Glares Harder and yells* Just because very old people wants something done their way, doesn't mean its the right way to go.
And with that, Mirabel turned around and ran back to the Hall.
Reaper: Hey, come back girl, you're waisting your time.
When she ignored his demands to stop, he tried to stop her by conjuring a wall of flames in her path, but she managed to pass it by dowsing the flames in front of her with a blast of water that put them out, creating a passage for her to go through and reach the Hall's doors. Inside, no one was standing in the main hall anymore. There were no doors in or out the building, so Mirabel assumed they used magic to go up to the pearl structure at the top, so she transformed into a butterfly to reach it. She spotted a lit cracked in the ceiling and flew at it to reveal it was a trap door opened just enough for her butterfly form to pass through and see Bufo looking up at Wendy, Walter and 2 much older looking wizards hanging up from the ceiling and supplying an orb with their magic power.
Wendy: This is what all the wizard training was about?! *Stops supplying the orb* You sorry old sack of slime, you tricked us!
Walter: Heu sis! i'm not to cool with this either, but... THE FUCKIN ASTEROID IS GETTING CLOSER!
Wendy: Oh, yeah. Sorry. *Supplies orb with her power, causing the asteroid to recede again.*
Bufo: I tricked you, of course... but would anyone really volunteer to do this?
Wendy: *Growls* Get us down from here RIGHT NOW.
Bufo: Sorry, you took the Pledge of ultimate responsibility, so you're both stuck up there until others come and take that same pledge to replace you *Walks to the exit door and opens it while facing them again* But fret not, there should be replacements coming in the next 30 years or so, Have fun. *Walks out and Shuts the door*
Wendy: *Growls more, then yells angrily* THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT WALTER.
Walter: *Turns to her and glares harshly* OH? AND HOW IS THIS MY FAULT THIS TIME?
Wendy: IF YOU HAVEN'T ACCEPTED THAT REAPER'S DEAL TO COME HERE, WE WOULDN'T BE STUCK UP HERE AS REPELLING MAGNETS FOR THAT ASTEROID.
Walter: OH YEAH! WELL ITS YOU THAT WANTED POWER TO OVERTHROW UNCLE NAUGUS, AND YOU WHO WANTED TO TAKE THAT STUPID PLEDGE TO BECOME AN ULTIMATE WIZARD.
Wendy: DON'T YOU FUCKING DARE PUT THE WHOLE BLAME ON ME FOR THAT, YOU WANTED TO BECOME AN ULTIMATE WIZARD TO I NEVER FORCED YOU TO TAKE THE PLEDGE WITH ME.
Butterfly Mirabel: *Flies to their level* Please, stop yelling you two, or Senor Bufo might come back.
Both stopped yelling at each other to look up at the voice talking to them, only to see a yellow butterfly floating in their faces.
Wendy & Walter: Hein?
The butterfly then floo back down to the floor and transformed back to her human form.
Wendy: SQUIRT?! You're back?!
Walter: Oh thank Glob. Quick, help us get down from here.
Child Mirabel: I well, but first you must promise you'll do something for me in return.
Wendy: *Frowns harshly* 'Little brat has some nerves making us demands' *But then glimpses at her surroundings and sighs* 'But given the current situation that stupid brother of mine put us through, do we really have a choice?' Fine, what is it that you want?
Child Mirabel: I need you to help me destroy the Asteroid.
Wendy & Walter: WHAT?!
Wendy: Are you crazy girl? You want us to try and destroy that giant flying rock of death?! That's suicide!
Child Mirabel: If the 3 of us combine all that we have learned together, we might be able to prevent the Asteroid from hitting and killing us all.
Wendy: Or, we might just end up dying before everybody else in this joint and it gets destroyed anyway. Forget it brat, i'm not confronting that thing head on just to save the people that put us in this situation.
Child Mirabel: *Frowns with her hands on her hips* Fine, then i guess i'll be heading home and enjoy my new magic filled life, while you two stay up there and spend the next 30 years doing nothing but hold back that thing all day and night, Adios *Was about to transform into a butterfly...*
Wendy & Walter: WAIIIIT *... but stops and turns her attention back at the twins*
Wendy: Fine, you win, get us down from here and we'll help, i swear it on are parents's grave.
Child Mirabel: *Smiles* I knew you'd see reason.
Mirabel Conjured a Golden knife and managed, with some focus and reddening of her chubby face, to only manifest the wing part of her butterfly form to fly at the twins and cut the harnesses that's holding them up.
Old Wizard 1: Stop Young fool! Your selfish preteen thinking will get us all killed!
Child Mirabel: Sorry, not sorry! *Cuts through the harnesses and the twins fall on their feet free*
Wendy & Walter: *Dances a happy jigg together* THANKS SQUIRT.
Child Mirabel: *Smiles* ningún problema (No problem) now lets hurry up while the Astreroid is still at a safe distance. * All tree Runs outside and spots the asteroid.*
Walter: Whoa. Euh, maybe its not to late to get to the reaper and out of here *Tries to get away, but Wendy grabs him by the collar*
Wendy: No dice bro, we've swarn on are parents graves that we'd help and like it or not, we have to now.
Walter: *Stops struggling and sags annoyed* Finnne.
Nearby, Bufo seems to be putting another old wizard, Jeremy, in a coffin while he is still alive, when he spotted the 3 young wizards.
Bufo: Hey! Have you both gone crazy?! Get back in the bouncy harness!
Wendy: *Sees the wizard and smirks* Be a Duck! *Fires a spell at Bufo*
Bufo: You are—! quaaaaack... *Sees he's been turn into a duck and flaps his new wings in a panick*
Wendy: *Blows the smoke off her finger* Ahahahaha, boy does it feel good to ruffle a con man's feathers.
runs back to the others and readies themselves.
Child Mirabel: Ultimate Wizardry, activate! *begins all three's transformations. Starting with Mirabel* I cast... Electroballs!, *Several balls of electricity appears around her* Golden Shield! *Conjures up a golden shield*, Golden Sword *Conjures up her golden sword*! Ice Breath *Blows an icy wind from her mouth*! Butterfly Wings *Make giant butterfly wings come out of her back*...
Wendy: I cast... Fire Vision! *Her eyes ignite in flames* Ebony Axe! *Conjures up a large, pitch black Waraxe* Ebony Wings! *Grows a large pair of feathery black wings* Scorpion Whips! *Her hair gets long and morphs into long scorpion tails*...
Walter: I cast... Tornado Legs! *Transforms his legs into a twister that allows him to fly* Water Rings! *2 rings of water appears and surrounds his body* Simatars! *Conjures up 2 iron curved swords* Dragon's Breath *Breaths fire from his mouth, like a dragon*...
Child Mirabel: And finally... every other power none of use mentioned by naaaame! With all are magics combined, we are powerful enough to destroy that asteroid!
All three flew closer to the Asteroid, then unleashed their magic upon the flaming rock: Mirabel had her electric orbs fire lightning bolts while she released an icy whirlwind at the same time, Wendy fired 2 large firebeams from her eyes, and Walter fired multiple ice shards from his water rings. When they ceased their attacks and the smoke cleared, they were horrified to see that their combined efforts was pretty much for not. Sure the Asteroid was cracked in some places and a few small chunks broke off here and there, but that aside the thing was still mostly intact and continues to head for the Hall.
Wendy: Damn it, are attacks barely did anything. *Turns to Mirabel and Walter* What are we going to do now?
Walter: i'll tell you what we're going to do now: Get the hell out of here while we still can!
Walter tries to abandon the girls and fly away to safety, but he was stopped in his tracks by his sister's magic, and pulled right in front of her angry face.
Wendy: Oh no you don't you little coward, we're all powered up and ready for action, so we're going to do something about this cause there's no way i'm expending precious magic for nothing here *Pushes Walter back and looks once more at Mirabel* I ask again, What are we going to do now?
Child Mirabel: *Takes a minute to think about it... * Ok, ok... new plan, if we can't destroy the Asteroid, while combine are magics again to... *Smiles when a plan finally popped out in mind* Move the whole place out of its path! That's it, that's what w'ill do.
Walter: *Looks at her with Disbelief* Are you crazy, the Hall and village around it is like twice that of the Asteroid's size, even if we work together, we'd never be able to move it all.
Child Mirabel: *Considers his words, then sighs* Then w'ill need some extra help.
Mirabel then heard the loud quacking of a duck, and turns to its sources to see the changed Bufo being chased by the 3 old wizards who were previously holding the Asteroid at bay, probably to try and change him back into a large toad. Mirabel smiled and sweep down to catch the duck before flying back up and stopping mid air.
Child Mirabel: *Looks the duck directly in the eye* Senor Bufo, what you have done to the twins the older wizards and pretty much anyone you've tricked into taking you phony pledge of ultimate responsibility is beyond wrong. If the situation was different, i would leave you as you are right now and not spare you another glance, but the meteor is coming down quick and we have to act quickly if we wan't yo save your Hall and the village. If i remove Wendy's spell on you, will you help us?
The duck didn't look at all happy about the situation, and what to do to get out of his current predicament, but he still nodded, making Mirabel smile before she flew down to the 3 older wizards waiting bellow.
Child Mirabel: Great Elders, for years you've hold that Asteroid in the sky with your magic, you've more than earned retirement and rest, but please, will you use your magic one last time to truly help save this place?
The 3 old wizards came together to discuss what to do before facing Mirabel again.
Jeremy: *Frowns* Defying the will of the Wizards of old was a pretty foolish decision on your part girl. But w'ill do it if only because we want to spend what years we have left doing are own thing.
After returning Bufo to his original form, all 5 of them flew to where the Troll Twins were, and with the 7's magics combined, they were able to create a giant hand to scoop the village and move it away. They're was some struggles despite their combined effort, but they managed to move it before the Asteroid lands, creating a giant explosion that blew away the 7 wizards and destroyed their clothes.
The village falls back down, and the 7 wizards landed hard on the ground, but suffered no serious injuries.
Child Mirabel: *Looks around and takes in the results of their combined effort* Whoo-hoo! Buen trabajo (Nice job)! Thanks to us, the village is saved. *Turns to the twins* And now that the Asteroid is gone, you're both free from the pledge.
Both trolls smiled at that.
Bufo: Don't forget to thank me child. For this was my plan for all of these 847 years.
The trolls happy smiles turned into scowls, and Wendy was going to walk over and give the toad a piece of her mind, but Mirabel beat her to it...
Child Mirabel: *... Walks towards and glares at the toad* Do not lie to us Senor Bufo! Your plan was to dupe a succession of fools into keeping the asteroid at bay! No fresco (Not Cool)
Bufo: * Looks Guilty* Perhaps you're right. No more giving out free powers. I hereby renounce all magic. *Bufo and the host cry. The host sits on the ground.* My life is oveeeeeer!
Walter: *Laughs mockingly at him* Its what you get for fooling us, looser *High Fives Wendy, just before a magical bolts turns him into a chicken to his sister's surprise*
Child Mirabel: No one asked for your opinion Walter. *Walks to Bufo and pats him on the back* please don't cry Senor Bufo. You don't have to quit your job.
Bufo: I don't?
Child Mirabel: Of course not. But with what just happened, maybe you should considered moving your hall somewhere else.
Bufo: *Looks at the village, now sitting in the huge crater, and nods* I believe you are right child. *Takes her hand and shakes it* Thank you for saving us, and for making me see the error of my ways.
After returning the hand shake, Mirabel and the Twins, chicken Walter in Wendy's arms, returned to the Reaper's portal and left...
END FLASHBACK
Mirabel: And that's it, i returned to my ''Tree House'' and began improving on it with my magic, turning it into the Treefort we all know and love today. *Takes a spoonful of her dessert, a Rasberry Parfait, before continuing* As for Senor Bufo and the older Wizards, he took my advice and moved ''The Great Hall of Wizardry'' to Wizard City, where he turned it into a magic school for child wizards wanting a early start in their Wizard Training, and Jeremy and his friends worked as teachers there for a couple of years before finally retiring *Eats another spoonful of Parfait*.
Everyone, their own Parfait in hand, expressed their joy at the happy conclusion of such an amazing story.
Amy: And what about the Troll Twins? Have you heard anything from them after that *Takes a bite of her own Parfait*?
Mirabel: Well, i haven't heard a thing from Walter sense then, but my path did crossed Wendy's a few times before i met any of you guys. Last i heard, she refined her magic and used it to overthrow her Uncle, Ixis Naugus The Sky Wizard, and kicked him out of his territory before taking it over for herself, becoming ''Wendy the Sky Witch''.
Sticks: *Takes Notes* Wendy the Sky Witch... and where is her turf exactly?
Mirabel: *Thinks* If memory serves me right, to enter the ''Sky Domaine'' where Wendy now lives, you have to cross a portal that's disguised as a pond. Sadly, i don't know which one it is, you'll have to try out every pond in Ooo if you want to hunt down Wendy and do her in *Giggles* at least, i'm assuming that's why you're asking me that.
Sticks: *Smiles* You know me to well girlfriend. *Sets her note book aside before stretching her arms* And if its what it takes to find that witch, then i'll go swim in every pond that exist in this land to find it... Starting tomorrow *Picks up her Parfait* today, i just want to enjoy some sweet and great company, i'm i right?
Everyone agrees whole heartily, and they all returned to their desserts, laughing and talking about many other things until the sun set and they all headed home.
