Author's Note: Hey everyone I hope you enjoy this fight. I tried to make the pacing pretty well.
Eriden and Holly can you two come to the field! This is heard over the speaker as all the contestants listen as Eriden and Holly get prepared.
"Heh time to show the audience their main event, me and my pokemon"!
"Eridens so cool"; Edward states hanging out in the background while Pizookie watches onward with Eon.
"You're kidding right Eriden's a chump"; huffing Pizookie and Eon stare at Edward with a confused look.
"Whaaa Eriden's amazing he's phenomenal" Eriden beams with happiness as he twirls around in his cape.
Eon rolls his eyes as he jumps off of Pizookie head and walks over to the custodian stands. Pizookie follows behind and grabs Edward.
"Lets debate this in the battle"! Pizookie dashes and follows Eon from behind.
"Uuuuuu okay"!
Eriden enters the stadium with Holly not far behind him. While Eriden smiles at his floating Rotom phone Holly breathes steadily in and out.
The day is beautifully still at that casual sun setting glow. It's majestic to everyone in the stadium as it casually beams a light over the battlefield.
Eriden takes his spot on the stage while Holly takes her opposing spot.
"Alright i'm ready"; she gives a determined stare while Eriden cockly does a hand gesture.
"Ready to get creamed"!
"Three Two One…. BEGUN"!
"Let's trash this lame-o Blastoise"!
"Now's the time to shine Treasure"!
A wooper and a blastoise hit the fields with a thud.
The wooper stares onward determined while the blastoise smiles.
"Hey pokelive a victor always goes first and I'm the biggest victor here".
"Blastoise strikes me dead with a hydro pump now"!
"Charge straight into it Treasure".
Both water types respond to their trainer. Treasure dashes straight towards the blastoise who aims his cannons and fires a massive burst of water.
This makes direct contact with the Treasure who continuously marches forward.
"Huh what"?
"Yawn NOW"!
A small cloud comes from Treasure that hits the baffled Blastoise.
Eriden quickly yells his next command; "It's close use rapid spin now"!
Acting quickly Holly calls for a "Poison tail".
Quickly Blastoise retreats inside its shell and spins around immensely. The blastoise completely misses Wooper.
Who in return slams the spot Blastoise was standing in a second ago.
Blastoise goes all around the field spinning ferociously.
His shells slam straight into where the audience is; causing an invisible force field to block out his attack.
"That behemoth of a blastoise is going crazy folks''! The announcer cheers as the audience starts to scream deeply.
Quickly in her seat Butterscotch stares at the flying shell that's going ballistic around the stage. She smiles just a bit.
"So that's Blastoise's game plan".
Eriden stares before giving a cocky grin.
As Eriden and Holly watch onwards, seeing Blastoise bounce around like a ping pong ball; Pizookie and Edward get to talking.
"So why do you even like Eriden? He's actively just a big stupid jerk most of the time".
"What no you got it all wrong Pizookie; Eriden isn't a jerk he's a hero"!
"A hero"? Pizookie stares with Eon with a look of uncertainty.
"No no no you got it all wrong Pizookie me and Eriden go way back".
"You see several weeks ago".
"I was traveling around with my wigglytuff, and we had just finally started healing at a pokemon center."
"When all of a sudden me and wigglytuff were attacked by a strange woman; wearing what could only be described as paper".
"She teleported us to a random forest with a couple of houses in it".
"So we stayed in one of them".
"Wait wait wait"; Pizookie side eyes Edward with Eon.
"So you just broke into a random house".
"LET ME FINISH"!
"Anyways while inside this house we eventually saw the forest catch completely on fire"!
"And we had to evacuate and run away".
"But the forest fire was too strong and eventually we all started running out of fumes".
"Until our hero Eriden showed up and had his water type pokemon save the day it was a true miracle"!
Pizookie and Eon nod their heads as they think about what they just heard.
"Eriden being somewhat decent was not on my bingo card".
"Evoi".
"So what about you, why'd you join the tournament Edward"?
"Oh that's easy I want to mega evolve my delta squirtle".
"Delta squirtle"?
"It's a fairy type. I love him; he's the cutest".
"Hmm"
Pizookie watches the fight rage onward with Blastoise continuously bouncing around; while Eriden stands cool and confident.
"This moron really isn't taking anything seriously is he poor Holly".
Pizookie and Eon shake their heads.
Blastoise finally goes flying in a direction that matches where Treasure is going to be.
"Quick Treasure hit him with a poison tail now"!
Woopers tail glows purple; as the wooper jumps towards the incoming shell he slams the shell straight into the grass which in term picks up tons of dirt.
Then blastoise gets back up finally awaking from his nap he stares at the wooper in confusion.
"Hmph as to be expected from a lesser trainer".
"Hold it everyone, it seems like the court is calling for a time out"!
Many members of the crowds discuss the timeout happening this early in the tournament. It causes tons of people to think about what plans the two trainers could be planning.
The tournament speaker stares up and down at the two trainers who've started to recall their pokemon back over to them.
With a confident stutter over to Eriden he attempts to get answers.
"Hello Eriden, why'd you enter this tournament"?
Eriden whips his hair back while he flashes his cape in the wind.
"It's obvious I'm gonna defeat my brother so I need more power. A mega stone would help blastoise and me crush the competition".
"For many years I've been in his shadow everywhere I go I see his face…."
"But today I'm gonna defeat him instantly".
Pizookie grits his teeth; hearing everything that Eriden just said. Eon's fur stands upwards.
Without actually thinking Pizookie shouts; "YOU"LL NEVER BEAT ANYONE IF YOU BARELY TAKE THIS SERIOUSLY"!
Eriden stares at Pizookie and Eon before shouting back. "WHO ASKED YOU ASKED YOU LESSER BEING"!
"SHUT UP STOP MESSING AROUND AND TAKE THIS SERIOUSLY"!
"YOU SHUT UP"!
"You wanna win and beat your brother then I suggest you actually try harder moron"!
As the two boys bicker from the stands and the stage the both get stopped by a voice inside their heads.
"Silence".
A woman floats downwards towards everyone from the sky. Many audience members start clapping happily.
"Ms. Rakasha, a gym leader, has come to watch the tournament".
The tournament announcer starts singing her praises while Pizookie and Eriden stare daggers at each other before Pizookie smirks and laughs.
This only causes Eriden more frustration; while Edward looks confusedly at Pizookie.
"That should motivate him a little bit"; Pizookie and Eon cockly look at Edward who just stares more dumbfounded.
While Eriden stirs in his fumes alongside Blastoise; the tournament speaker walks over to Holly who still has a look of determination on her face alongside Wooper.
"Hello there Holly"!
"Would you be a dare and tell the audience why you entered this tourney".
Holly's gaze stiffens up at the announcer before she calmly speaks into the phone.
"My fathers a gym leader in New York City we're tourists here entering the Golden State League".
"Recently me and my brother Derek have gotten word from my father that the gym needs more repairs".
"We're hoping to win this tournament for the money and the mega stone to repair the gym back to fully working condition".
Pizookie and Eon smack their heads together.
"Now I feel bad".
"Evoi eevoi".
"I won;t lose I want to win"!
After the audience, Holly, and Eriden get settled the battle starts once more.
"That's it Blastoise activated shell style"!
Holly and the audience watch on in amazement as Blastoise retracts his limbs inside of his shell; only keeping out the cannons.
Holly raises her eyebrows before she ultimately calls out her attack.
"Treasure poison tail now".
"Activate shell style now"!
The wooper dashes straight towards the shell as his tail glows purple once more.
As Treasure is about to hit the blastoise it gets slammed into by the giant shell sending the pokemon flying.
"What"; dazed and confused Holly calls to her pokemon who barely stands up.
"Ooh it seems like the blastoise slams directly into the wooper using the force of its shell and its cannons as propellers".
"How do you like our own style, our shell style"!
Treasure struggles to get back up before she screeches. Holly acknowledges wooper as their eyes meet.
"Mud shot go"!
Treasure shoots a bunch of mud out of her mouth that starts flying towards the shell.
"Dragon pulse now blastoise"!
Aiming his cannons downard he shoots the ground and propels himself upwards in his shell. Completely dodging the attack blastoise starts falling to the ground.
"Use hydro pump and go straight towards them"!
"When it comes hit it with a poison tail"!
As Treasure attempts to finish the attack she slows down gagging. This gives blastoise enough time to slam right into the wooper with his shell fainting her directly.
"Heh piece of cake"!
"Hmph"!
"It looks like Blastoise hit Treasure way harder than expected with that first shell style attack"!
"I wonder how Holly will respond to this set back"!
"Flock, let's take this thing down".
Suddenly at the toss of her quick ball; a drakloak appears; one large tailed dragon smiles cheekily at his trainer while the baby dragon on top stares aimlessly.
"It seems this fight continues with Flock the drakloak; how will this affect the outcome of the battle"!
"Lock on now"!
"Take care of this with a dragon pulse"!
Flock quickly dodges the purple beam that comes towards him; its dragon shape creates a cloud of smoke behind the dragon pokemon.
The baby dragon on top of Flock's head eye's turn into a target signal allowing Flock to ready his next attack.
Clenching her fist Holly quickly orders Flock to use dragon pulse.
With nearly perfect aim granted by lock on; Eriden realizes that there's no way Blastoise could dodge the incoming attack.
"Blastoise turns away from the attack and uses iron defense"!
Blastoise gets hit hard as a giant purple dragon; that hits hard causing an explosion.
Blastoise struggles to his feet before continuously using iron defense.
Edward looks confusingly at the situation that's playing out before him.
"Hey Pizookie why is Eriden's Blastoise just standing there"?
Pizookie and Eon think about it for a second.
"I think Eriden is about to use another trainer technique".
"Trainer technique"? Eriden stares with a confused look.
"A custom move or trainer move is an evolution of another move that the pokemon can use".
"Essentially it's a pokemon using one move in combination with its body or a custom attack that combines two attacks' '.
"Therefore it by technicality doesn't break the 4 move system all pokemon leagues set in place".
"OOOH that makes sense".
"Use lock on once more"!
Flock's baby dragon locks onto the blastoise who has finally turned around.
"Dragon pulse now"!
"Hmph pathetic, finish it now Iron Commodity"!
A giant purple dragon beam goes flying at the blastoise as he smiles.
Blastoise's cannons aim directly at the purple dragon that's coming towards him.
Before he blasts a giant gray blast that completely engulfs the dragon pulse hitting Flock extremely hard as the dragon pokemon falls to the ground.
Holly stares as the dust settles.
"Please Flock"!
Ms. Rakasha stares before smiling.
"Whenever trainers and pokemon are truly motivated by something they unleash boundless power that makes them stronger".
As Eriden sees the dragon type get up he grits his teeth.
"Blastoise, let's take them seriously now"!
Both trainers and pokemon's eyes widened.
"Blastoise's Iron commodity is an attack that uses blastoise's converted energy from iron defense and turns it into an iron beam that hits devastatingly hard".
"For Flock to actually survive it makes me feel somewhat annoyed; as it took a good amount of time to learn it".
"I guess you two aren't simpletons".
"Shut up Flock, use Dragon rush now"!
"Blastoise shell style hydro pump now"!
Blastoise quickly puts his body inside his shell. Before he actively fires a pump at the ground, sinking it and creating craters that propels it upwards.
Flock screams before a huge purple aura appears around them. He goes dashing straight towards the giant turtle shell.
The two pokemon clash into each other causing huge amounts of sparks to start flying all over the stadium.
Eventually the clash ends with Blastoise falling back down from the sky with Flock not far behind.
Both pokemon take a stance next to their respective trainers before fainting.
"Darn it".
Clenching her fist Holly slams them to the ground with the audience watching onwards.
"It's up to you now Derek", screaming tears begin to form in her eyes. Before seeing a hand reach her.
"Hey don't worry a superior being like me will win this tourney and get you that money easily".
"Eh". Holly smacks Eridens away before she walks away angrily.
Pizookie and Eon stare at Edward who looks somewhat nervous.
"Good luck Edward but there's no way I could lose".
"EHm no you're wrong I'll win".
