Pizookie sits in the waiting room staring at the pokeballs clenched in his fist. Eon stands next to his trainer with a sly grin of confidence.
Pizookie thinks back to what he and his pokemon are fighting for. If somebody doesn't defeat Kaneki it's over for everyone are the words that flash through his head.
Edward sits on the other side of the room as he stares absentmindedly. He thinks about breaking the tension in the room as he sees how serious Pizookie is getting.
Everything feels like it's stopping for the young trainer; Edward doesn't really meet Pizookie's gaze at all.
"Edward".
Almost immediately Pizookie's cold gaze meets Edwards rosie pink eyes. The boy actively mumbles something silently to himself.
"Good luck because I'm no we're coming at you with everything"!
"EVOI"!
Eon's tail shakes with gusto as the two competitors get called into their match.
Pizookie and Edward take their positions on the battlefield.
Roto and Butterscotch watch onward; Roto with a look of nervousness and Butterscotch with a look of confidence.
"Alright everyone the battle against Pizookie and Edward is about to begin in"!
"3"; a sound of drums is heard in the background".
"2"; Eon gives a cocky grin.
"1"; Pizookie and Edward ready their pokeballs.
"GO"!
"Ted let out you're battle cry"!
Teddiursa comes in with a loud scream; slashing the battlefield with his fangs.
"Wartortle I choose you"!
A strange looking wartortle comes flying downwards. The turtle pokemon is pink and it's usual winglike ears still appear. It's shell has sprinkles of purple in it, and it seems to have a beautiful halo floating over it's head.
"And their it is folks a delta wartortle just what kind of battle are we in for today"!
The audience roars with applause as Ms. Rakasha looks onward towards Edward.
Butterscotch gives a confident look at Pizookie who seems have a serious expression.
Suddenly the battlefield starts to turn a pink color. A pink aura of bubbles fills the battlefield.
"And with that the wartortle has activated his ability misty terrain"!
Edward snaps his fingers; as his cape flutters in the now growing wind.
"Quick go inside your shell and spin around"; Edward says with haste.
"Ted go offensive and use fury swipes"!
Ted's claws glow a fierce white as the wartortle retracts back into his shell.
Ted slashes the shell several times as the turtle pokemon begins to spin around.
"What's Edwards game plan here even if Ted doesn't break through his defense his wartortle isn't nearly as durable as Eriden's blastoise".
As these thoughts run through Pizookie's head Edward quickly calls for his next attack.
"Now use dig wartortle"!
Quickly Wartortle digs into the ground by spinning his shell at a high speed; causing Ted to growl and jump backwards.
Anxiously, Pizookie tells Ted to "Stay Calm"!
Ms. Rakasha and Butterscotch watch on with critical eyes before Butterscotch nudges Roto.
"Roto record this match closely things are about to get interesting".
Pizookie quickly thinks about their next move as everyone hears the quick digging of the devastating delta pokemon.
"Fine wait for it Ted"!
Ted begins looking around; the bear cub as the wartortle digs deeper into the ground.
Pizookie almost anxiously looks around with his pokemon; him and Ted look all over the misty terrain, and even try hearing everything to at least see where wartortle could come from.
"I don't wait, I got an idea"; Pizookie thinks.
"Ted use ice punch on the dig spot"; Pizookie yells!
"What"!
Ted's paws glow a icy blue as the bear cub proceeds to jump and smash the dig spot wartortle made.
Ted barrages the dug spot with a fury of ice punches; leaving the spot more frozen over.
"What"; Edward jumps back as he starts thinking of his next move.
Edward then confidently realizes what he can do inorder to gain an advantage here.
"This is fine Wartortle surf to get out of there"!
"Hmph"; Pizookie smirks.
Wartortle's shell suddenly spits out a massive wave of water from underground shooting water from his shell wartortle propels himself through the gas breaking it instantly.
Only to appear right in front of Ted who scores a direct critical slash attack on him.
Sending the wartortle back into the hole.
"You hate to see it folks but it seems that Wartortle got critically hit right back down into the hole"!
Edward's brain starts to race putting bits and chucks; making immense calculations.
The boy then shouts, "Wartortle jump out of the ground and use toxic"!
This raises many eyebrows, Pizookie stares with a awkward look at the wartortle; who shoots out a purple gunk of toxic before jumping around and spitting out more.
And then jumping around and spitting out more and more.
Pizookie stares onward with a confused expression before he starts thinking about what Edward's plan could be.
Just as Pizookie figures it out Edward quickly calls "Return Wartortle"!
This releases the misty terrain which also releases all the toxic gunk on the ground causing Ted to get poisioned.
A blue aura comes from Ted's body as he starts wheezing.
"It seems that Edward was scheming all along using toxic as a complete distraction on a misty terrain"!
"Wigglytuff I choose You"!
As Edward throws his pokeball a big pink creature with green eyes. A happily wigglytuff begins floating up and down as through the battlefield never truly touching down on it.
Inhaling herself up and down like a balloon she taunts Teddiursa. Ted picks of some grass and throws it at her before the balloon pokemon dodges it casually.
Butterscotch chuckles at the rather childish interaction between the two pokemon.
"Ted use slash now"!
"Wigglytuff use stealth rock go"!
Ted dashes at an accelerating pace faster than what Wigglytuff expected. His claw glows white as he slashes Wigglytuff quickly sending her spiraling backwards before she inhales air and grows bigger.
With this growth she spits the inhaled air back out sending her flying upwards. The Wigglytuff spins around scattering a momentous amount of rock shards everywhere.
Pizookie scratches his head before he thinks about what type of set up Edward could be using.
"Hmm Ted's quick feet ability activated, so we'll keep on attacking"!
Edward stares in thought for a moment before he smiles.
"Wigglytuff use thunder wave on the stealth rocks"!
"Intercept it with fury swipes", Pizookie clenches his fist in participation.
Moving quickly Ted attempts to jump towards Wigglytuff but her balloon body easy out paces the bear cub.
As he's about to jump and attack her; Ted gags and this slows him down enough for Wigglytuff to dodge the attack.
Wigglytuff creates a huge electric field around herself that hits a huge portion of the stealth rock; on Pizookie's side of the field.
Ted falls before he gets tagged on a bolt of electricity causing him to hit the ground hard.
Pizookie looks around seeing what Edward's completely done.
"Wow Edward I can't believe you created a force field; Hey wait I thought you didn't know what techniques are"!
Pizookie puffs up his cheeks while looking at the caped boy.
"I didn't know I just got the idea from watching Eridens battle with you, and wanted to try something".
"Hmph so much for that fine then we'll play you're game"! Pizookie smirks with confidence as Ted starts fuming.
"Teddiursa"!
"Ted be careful our side of the field has a huge electric force field that's connected to all the stealth rocks".
Ted looks at Pizookie with a no duh face before he turns to face his floating opponent.
Wigglytuff looks like she's taken damage from the slash but not enough.
Pizookie calls for "Slash"!
Edwards calls for "Body slam".
Wigglytuff enhales before exhaling and sending herself far into the sky as she starts to pick up momentum for a body slam.
Edward smiles "This is our super body slam it's pretty cool right"!
The crowd goes wild as they a camera pans on Wigglytuff who's falling several meters above the stadium.
"Darn how are we gonna get out of this one at the position we're in moving out without taking damage is impossible", Pizookie thoughts are interrupted by the Wigglytuff getting closer to Ted.
Pizookie quickly comes up with a plan after seeing how the Wigglytuff is falling.
"Ted use fury swipes on the ground and dodge the attack".
Ted coughs due to the heavy poison before nodding his head; quickly both his arms glow a ghostly white before he starts upheaving the ground.
By the time Wigglytuff can be seen she's already gained enough momentum to be moving faster than a car.
"NOW dodge it Ted"! Pizookie screeches getting Ted's attention and just in the nicke of time Ted rolls out of the hole as Wigglytuff crashes into it.
Affecting the whole area Edward's face turns wide as Ted laughs at the unfortunate fate of Wigglytuff, who's stuck inside the hole Ted just created.
"Masterful strategies from both side folks it seems; it seems like both quickly thought of what the other pokemon could do and attempted to outmaneuver the other".
Pizookie starts to chuckle before he and Ted become more determined.
"We aren't losing Edward Ted use baby doll eyes now"!
"No way Wigglytuff use play rough now"!
Wigglytuff attempts to move out of the hole; before she gets hit, with Ted staring at her with baby eyes.
This creates a downwards blue light causing her attack to go down.
"Now Ted use a slash barrage"!
"Slash barrage"? Edward jumps back, and then commands Wigglytuff to try and escape from the attack.
"Wigglytuff inhale and use play rough"!
Both of Ted's claws glow white, and then proceeds to slash Wigglytuff extremely hard causing the Wigglytuff to slide hard into the ground; uplifting a chunk of dirt off the field.
This also has the added effect of the balloon pokemon slamming into the landmine.
Wigglytuff struggles to get up while Ted starts breathing hard.
"Play rough"!
"Ice punch"!
Both pokemon charge at each other with their hands glowing pink and light blue respectively.
The two pokemon jump at each other and start pelting each other with their fierce attacks. Punching furiously for what seems to be like several minutes. Pizookie and Edward watch on as through this clash Ted starts getting angrier and angrier.
With this angry comes even heavier blows as Ted starts to screech more from the play rough attack.
Ted starts glowing while he continues to attack the Wigglytuff who continues to attack him.
Calling upon the strength him, and his trainer need Ted turns into a pure being of light for a split second.
Then he grows bigger and slams the Wigglytuff into the ground, evolving into Ursaring.
The audience goes wild screaming at the sheer velocity of the attacks and sudden evolution.
Pizookie stares in awe at Ursaring the behemoth bear pokemon stares at his trainer before he succumbs to his poison and faints as well.
"Both contestents are down to their last pokemon, but can I hear an applause for the excellent showing so far"!
The audience goes wild as Pizookie returns his newly evolved Ursaring while Edward returns WigglyTuff.
"Ok Edward that was a great strategy".
"I can't believe you responded to it so well".
"Hmph well I kinda had to respond so you better prepare yourself".
Pizookie then pulls out another pokeball.
"Because I'm winning this battle".
Pulling out wartortles pokeball Edward confidently smirks.
"No I'm gonna win"!
"Metallic let's win this", Metallic comes out getting hit and electrocuted by the stealth rock before they start floating.
"Wartortle we got this"!
The delta wartortle comes out still feeling the heavy blow from that one attack.
Misty terrain appears once more getting rid of all the toxic from the field.
"Now use take down Metallic"; Pizookie waves his hand quickly.
"Don't let him use dig"!
As Metallic flies through all the force fields they go towards wartorle who quickly escapes into the ground.
"Metallic fly upwards and wait".
Edward's cape wavers as he tells Wartortle to attack him with a surf dig combo.
"Now use confusion Metallic"!
The wartortle comes flying out of a random hole in the ground water coming out of his shell propels him directly towards Metallic.
The metang however responds to this by shooting the pokemon with a purple beam causing an explosion and for Wartortle to crash into the electric forcefield himself.
Edward quickly yells in panic "Wartortle use metal claw now"!
"Metallic finish this take down now"!
As Wartortle struggles to get up he's then hit by a silver hand of Metallics which sends him upwards and knocks him out.
Pizookie smiles at Metallic who floats towards Pizookie with happiness in their eyes.
"Edward has no more remaining pokemon therefore Pizookie advances to the next round".
After everything's settled Pizookie smiles at Edward in the waiting room he then gives him a thumbs up while Roto and Butterscotch discuss things with him in the background.
Edward then smiles at Pizookie.
"Good luck Pizookie I hope you win".
"I don't plan on losing to anyone here"!
