[INT. HIGH SCHOOL CAFETERIA - DAY]
(The high school cafeteria is buzzing with excitement as students gather around ballot boxes for the prom queen election. Among the crowd are Ginger Foutley, Dodie Bishop, and Mipsy Mipson.)
GINGER: (excitedly) Can you believe prom is just around the corner? I wonder who's going to be prom queen this year.
DODIE: (optimistically) Hopefully someone deserving. It's supposed to be a fair election, after all.
(Mipsy, overhearing the conversation, exchanges a mischievous glance with her friend Miranda Killgallen.)
MIPSY: (whispering to Miranda) Looks like it's time to put our plan into action.
MIRANDA: (smirking) Let's show them who deserves to be prom queen.
(Mipsy sneaks over to the ballot box while no one is looking. She discreetly swaps out the legitimate ballots with pre-filled ones in favor of Miranda.)
MIPSY: (to herself) This'll teach them to underestimate me.
(Just as Mipsy finishes her scheme, she's caught red-handed by Ginger, who notices the suspicious activity.)
GINGER: (shocked) Mipsy, what are you doing?
(Mipsy freezes, realizing she's been caught in the act.)
MIPSY: (stammering) Uh, nothing! Just, uh, checking to make sure everything's running smoothly.
(Ginger narrows her eyes, sensing something fishy.)
GINGER: (skeptically) That doesn't look like checking to me. Are you trying to rig the election?
(Mipsy's face flushes with embarrassment as the other students start to take notice.)
MIPSY: (defensively) No! I mean, maybe. But Miranda deserves to win!
(Just then, Miranda steps forward, trying to salvage the situation.)
MIRANDA: (calmly) It's true. I may not have the most votes, but I'm clearly the most deserving candidate.
GINGER: (firmly) That's not how elections work, Miranda. It's about fairness and honesty.
(Mipsy hangs her head in shame, realizing the error of her ways.)
MIPSY: (apologetically) You're right, Ginger. I'm sorry for trying to cheat the system. It was wrong of me.
(Ginger nods, accepting Mipsy's apology.)
GINGER: (forgiving) Everyone makes mistakes, Mipsy. Just remember to play fair next time.
(Mipsy nods sheepishly, learning a valuable lesson about integrity.)
MIPSY: (gratefully) Thanks, Ginger. I'll keep that in mind.
(The students gather around the ballot box once more, ready to cast their votes in a fair and unbiased manner.)
[FADE OUT.]
