"See that Tar that's just amazing isn't it".
"Evoi, Eevee"!
Pizookie and Eon beam an energetic smile as they continuously show the fusion pokemon Regitar, a combination of tyranitar with regirock parts, on the tv screen.
Tar's response is an uninterested beep boop combined with horrific dinosaur cries. Pizookie and Eon give a dissatisfied look, it had only been two days after the clubsplosion tournament, them winning $1000 and receiving a tera orb.
This in itself felt like an ending for the duo stopping the evil schemes of Neptune Taor, technically saving people even if neither could tell anyone.
Tar snapped both out of their funk by beeping and booping once more; they pointed towards the television.
"There it is folks trainer Red is about to send out his famous aerodactly aero"!
Pizookie and Eon slam their faces on the screen with large anticipation, while Regitar as the pokemon waddles over to a case.
Roto frowns as they look throughout their room empty boring space of ordinary things fill the air. With their subspicions being verified of Neptune Taor being the culprit these situations were only gonna get worse.
They think about what they're gonna do what kind of use can they be if they can't really battle.
If they asked Butterscotch she'd probably say something like "the best you, you can be is you Roto"!
But that wasn't really solid advice for the sapient pokedex; in fact to them it would feel like water downed baby talk.
Roto decides to watch the news to pass this time of inadequecy in their life.
"While the forest fires continue plunging through our beuatiful state, there seems to be more sightings of shadow pokemon".
Roto stares in awe at the thought "shadow pokemon"?
"This seems pretty strange as team rocket have never been spotted working in California at any point and time".
"But fret not everyone as many members of the pokemon rangers alongside members of Team Mystic, Instinct, and even Valor have come to start purifying select areas".
Roto watches as mutiple different cities in California flash across the screen, Bakersfield, Victorville, Sacramento, Beverly Hills, etc.
"Wait there's shadow pokemon in Sacramento we're in Sacramento wait purify hey that's it"!
Roto flies out of their room with a determined look on their face.
After the battle has just been finished Pizookie and Eon turn to see Tar holding out Pizookie's gym badge case.
Pizookie and Eon's face sulk up remembering that they are participating in this year's Golden State League.
"AAAAAAH"!
"EVOI"!
Pizookie and Eon then make the sudden realization that they haven't got any more gym badges then three, panicking Pizookie and Eon push Tar out of the room, and then the house, and then next to the bus stop.
"Come on Tar we'll show you how amazing pokemon battles can really be by getting our next badge"!
"Evoi"!
ButterScotch and Leafy smile as their keystone finally came in. A beautiful mega necklace swinging back and forth and an even more beautful ampharostite.
Through all her travels she never actually thought she'd get a mega stone. They are so rare outside of the fabled Bermuda Triangle where reality often bends and contorts.
In a rushed panic Butterscotch goes out of her way to catch an ampharos randomly realizing she didn't have a pokemon who could mega evolve.
So now she's trying to bond with Annie the Ampharos so they can achieve mega evolution as both seem eventually eager to mega evolve.
"Don't worry Annie, all we need is some time and patience and a little bit of elbow grease".
Butterscotch says as a decent amount of the pokepark has been reduced to ash thanks to Annie going on a mega stone produced rampage.
"Baaah", Annie sulks.
Once again Pizookie, Eon, accompanied by Tar reach the disturbingly haunted gym building. This time the duos mood is lighter, while Tar's mood has been lifted up as well.
Finally getting to experience the outside within being controlled by a monster does that to a pokemon!
Pizookie and Eon greet the receptionist calmly.
"Hey it's nice seeing you again".
The receptionist grunts being slow responding before she jumps back seeing a strange tyrantiar that has the face and coloring of a regirock!
"AAAAAAAH its its nice to see you again which person are you attempting to battle today"?
Pizookie and Eon stare with a disapproving look before snapping their fingers and paws.
"Evoi".
"Anyone will do this time I don't care which we won't lose ya know".
Pizookie shrugs while flashing a confident smirk, Eon imitates him.
"o Okay I'll do that right now"; the trio hear various tapping sounds as the receptionist types away at her computer.
"Ok you're scheduled to fight Bill the ice type gym leader proceed to floor 3".
Pizookie and his two pokemon casually stroll towards the elevator.
After making their way up to the third floor Pizookie is met with a ice skating ring, and a stand of excited people getting ready to cheer the gym leader on.
Cold air constantly blows through the whole room as Pizookie sees a man he'd describe as a cool looking guy.
He has dreads and wears a beanie to cover most of them, his goggle as opposed to Pizookie's are actually put on.
Pizookie raises his pokeball, while Eon raises his right paw.
"Bill I Pizookie of Victorville challenge you to a real gym battle right now"!
"Huh oh hey aren't you that one kid who got runner up in …. ", Bill trails off as he sees the mutated tyranitar looking at him.
Tar makes beeping and booping noises in response.
"Right kid ok so how many badges do you have"?
"I have three badges".
Bill scratches his head before he smirks confidently "alright kid three on three I won't be able to switch out at any time but you can show me your stuff".
With this Pizookie and Bill take no time getting to opposing parts of the battlefield. A referee makes their way to the middle of the stage.
"Alright traine go".
The ref walks off the stage while the two send out their first pokemon.
"Alright Peeky it's your time to shine. '' Pizookie beams happily as his moody pikachu grimaces at his opponent.
"Ok glaceon do your best man", Bill nods a calm looking glaceon smiles at Bill.
"Glaceon use mud shot now", Bill calmly states.
"Peeky dodge it and use thunderbolt"; Pizookie snaps his fingers.
Glaceon shoots out several pieces of hardened mud at the pikachu, but Peeky easily dodges the attacks using the ice rink as a skating platform with his tail.
Outmaneuvering the mud shots Peeky hits with a huge jolt of yellow electricity shocking glaceon as the pokemon wobbly moves around.
"Follow it up with a volt tackle now"!
"Dodge it use ice fang" swinging his arms Bill retorts.
Peeky engulfs himself in electricity before sliding directly at glaceon who attempts to dodge the attack.
However, they're stopped by yellow electricity being paralyzed glaceon then gets hit automatically by a volt tackle.
Glaceon goes flying crashing right into the wall of the room knocked out.
Pizookie, Eon, and even Peeky give somewhat of a dissatisfied stare at the gym leader.
"Okay next up delibird I choose you".
A delightfully happy delibird comes out as Pizookie and Eon stared baffled at what they're witnessing. Tar claps their hands together expecting something more exciting then whatever that last battle was.
Bill thinks about what he should do first before commenting "Okay Delibird use drill run".
"Peeky use quick attack to dodge it now".
Peeky does as he's told the delibird's beak turns a bright orange color as he belly flops onto the ground and slides at Peeky.
Using this opportunity Peeky jumps directly over it with a quick attack.
"Follow it up with a Thunderbolt Peeky now"!
Peeky blasts a huge spark of electricity directly at delibird who screams in pain. After the zapping is done Delibird attempts to get back up.
"Keep calm, delibird use gunk shot where they're standing".
Delibird hastly shoots purple ooze from out of his beak Peeky dodges the attack casually while gunk begins to destroy; that part of the ice rink.
"Peeky use Thunderbolt now"!
Delibird attempts to dodge by skating away; this fails horrendously. As Peeky just blast the poor delibird with a huge jolt of electricity ending the next battle very casually as delibird faints.
Pizookie looks even more akwardly as Peeky gives a noticeable shrug. Bill closes his eyes before he smiles.
"Alright fine kid you want my full power here's my full power go walrein".
Walrein gets thrown onto the stage with a fiery passion within his eyes. Pizookie and Peeky give a serious expression as the two get into a intense battle stance.
"Let's go Peeky use quick attack right now". Pizookie beams.
Bill smiles as he calls for his move "Alright walrein use whirlpool once he gets close".
The tusk pokemon creates a ball of water as Peeky gets close; this ball of water then starts spiraling around creating a tornadoe.
The pikachu almost reaches his target, but gets swepted up in the giant whirlpool water. Pizookie decides to stick to his guns, to see how this plays out.
"Now walrein use aurora beam to freeze the whirlpool", Bill speaks out.
"Peeky you can keep going right let's break outta that whirlpool with volt tackle now"!
Peeky starts to engulf himself in volt tackle while walrein fires a beam that resembles aurora borealis. Peeky almost catches his footing against the wave, but gets completely frozen solid by the whirlpool.
"Peeky if you can hear me don't give up we can still get through this let's go for a thunderbolt"!
Eon screams alongside his trainer as the frozen block of tornado shows Peeky cheek pouches spark a little bit at first.
"Now let's wrap this up using rock tomb walrein", Bill smirks.
Walrein creates multiple rocks shooting them directly at the ice block as Peeky struggles to escape.
Peeky gets hit by all the rocks cracking the whirlpool more and more, before the rocks slam directly into him making the pikachu gasp in pain.
Peeky struggles to get up as Pizookie thinks of his next plan.
"To slow walrein use aurora beam once more", Bill confidently pushes once more.
Pizookie curses before responding quickly "Peeky use quick attack to dodge".
Peeky dodges the attack as a ice wall covers where he was standing.
Pizookie thinks about what he could do, reminding himself that he has a huge advantage. In fact this is the biggest advantage he's probably ever had in a battle.
Remembering the orb he just received Pizookie smiles with confidence.
"Peeky return"; Pizookie pulls out his pokeball its red light absorbing the pikachu back into his ball.
"Kay alright Eon let's get rock and rolling now"!
Eon jumps off of Pizookie's head onto the ice field with a cocky look. Tar stares in confusion at this choice; didn't Peeky have a huge advantage?
"Alright Eon lets show off a little bit".
"Evoi"!
"Okay Eon lets use swift right now"!
"Walrein use aurora beam now".
The eevee and walrein fire their respective attacks at each other slamming directly into walrein the swift hits hard as eon dodge the aurora beam comparatively.
Pizookie takes out his newly acquired tera orb as it starts to light up. Pizookie braces himself as the force of holding the orb pushes his hair back smiling he chucks the orb directly at Eon.
Eon gets covered in crystal before the crystals crack; revealing a brightly colored Eon with a beautiful giant diamond hat.
"Never expected we'd be going against a tera orb trainer for the fourth badge" Bill conceeds.
"Truthfully most people seek out stuff like this after their six or eighth badge".
"Walrein use crunch now"! Bill comments.
"Eon let's do it alright go for a quick attack now"!
Eon's eyes widen as he dashes hard directly at walrein, instantly hitting walrein, before he can even get off an attack.
"Now follow it up with a swift Eon" Pizookie beams. In truth Pizookie always dreamed about using every special power for his pokemon dynamax, z moves, mega evolutions.
Eon forms stars within these stars are powered up by the tera energy allowing for him top shoot directly at walrein sending him flying back.
"Don't give in just yet use whirlpool"! Bill shouts.
"Destroy it Eon let's go all the way use quick attack now"!
Eon closes his eyes once more accessing the strength he used against the Klawf pokemon in the tournament.
He dashes directly through the oncoming whirlpool destroying it instantly slamming into walrein sending him flying and knocking him out.
Eon returns back to his normal form casually giving Pizookie and Tar a cheeky smile.
Tar gets up and ultimately gives a happy beep boop. "Nice we did it yay"!
Bill looks with a calming demeanor deep down he's surprised he lost so quickly, but also deep down he knew the runner up of the clubsplosion tournament was gonna be strong.
"Hey good job I can't believe the fight would've gone this way, but I deem you guys worthy of the Chill Badge".
Pizookie frowns he didn't think he'd win this easily, but at the same time his team winning this easily was pretty exhilarating.
The snow haired boy gives a smile as he puts his goggles on.
"Did ya see that Tar we got the Chill Badge".
Tar beeps sheepishly shrugging. Pizookie and Eon frown before they turn around to Bill.
Bill, Pizookie, and the pokemon step outside of the building; Bill mostly for a lunch break and to see what the runner ups plans are.
"Ya know you must've trained real hard for the tourney kid most people have like what five badges with the amount of strength your pokemon showed".
"Huh oh yea well Peeky and Eon are just strong. We all worked hard because we had to defeat someone important at the tourney".
Bill scratches his head before smiling.
"Ah I see", Bill starts scanning Pizookie,Eon, and even Tar for a bit before he gives a hearty look.
"Hey so I've been noticing you eevee and pikachu are partner eevee and Pikachu's huh".
"Oh yea"; Pizookie and Eon smirk knowing that many don't notice the difference between a starter Eevee and a normal eevee.
"You may wanna check out the eeveelution center, it's a pretty popular tourist spot".
As Pizookie is about to thank him the two hear a scream as a pokemon with a purple aura appears before them.
