50,000 BCE:- The mighty galaxy spanning the Prothean Empire were at their last legs and on the verge of defeat. Despite Uniting all the Sentient Species of the Galaxy, under its Empire during the bloody Metacon War, the coming of the Reapers were too much for them, especially after the devastation of the previous War and loss of their Empire's Capital, The Citadel.
With no other choice the Protheans decided to divert all the remaining resources of their Empire to reverse engineer the Secret Super Weapon of the Inusannon Empire.
The Crucible
It took them several years and Billions of lives and hundreds of Planets, which were sacrificed to the oncoming Mechanical Hordes of Reapers. But in the end, when everything is lost, the last of the Prothean Scientists, managed to activate the Crucible just before their deaths.
The Super Weapon instantly, used the instantaneous speed of the Relay Systems to destroy all the Reapers instantaneously. Even Harbinger, The First Reaper (and their Leader) made by the Leviathans was killed in this blast.
This ended the Billion Year Old vicious Cycle of Harvesting.
2040 AD:- On Earth, 3D Printing becomes widely available. That along with Nanotechnology began a new Industrial Revolution.
2046:- The Russian Federation became the United Russian Republic which included the Territories of Eastern Ukraine mainly Donetsk and Luhansk and Crimea. Along with the former Soviet Countries like Belarus, Moldova, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan.
2050:- The Politics and power balance of the World began to change. With China becoming the largest Economy and manufacturing hub closely followed by the Republic Of India leaving the United States in third position.
Asia had once again reclaimed its old glory of leading the World in terms of economy, just like it was before the 17th Century.
The World Population reached 10 Billion Inhabitants.
2056:- First Permanent Base on the Moon was made, and because of 3D Printing it was heavily cost effective.
The effort was a joint venture between the eight biggest Space Agencies in the World:- CNSA (China National Space Administration), ISRO (Indian Space Research Organisation), NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration), JAXA (Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency), State Space Corporation ROSCOSMOS (Russian Space Agency), UKSA (United Kingdom Space Agency), CSIRO (Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation, Australian Government) and ESA (European Space Agency).
2058:- First Hand Held Coil Gun was invented by United States Research and Development. This marks the beginning of Magnetic Accelerator Technology and also the end of Gun Powder Weaponry.
2060:- The First Magnetic Accelerator Satellite Launcher was made by a Joint Venture of CNSA and ISRO. With this device, Satellites could be directly launched into space without any need of Rockets. This drastically reduces the cost of launching Satellites. And also made getting supplies on Space Stations much easier.
2062:- By now wide spread Nuclear Energy, 3D Printing as well eradication of most diseases and War led to a calmness around the World.
However this calmness would not last long.
With the stoppage of the Oil Industry, the Middle Eastern Economy began to collapse. Yemen, Kuwait, Bahrain, Iraq, Iran, Syria erupted in full-fledged Civil Wars.
Saudi Arabia and UAE which had decades ago switched their economy from Oil to Tourism were the only ones who remained unscathed, though not for long.
Just like how the Arab Spring of 2010 destabilized the Levant. The Anti-Government moment soon spread to UAE and Saudi Arabia too.
Some of the African Countries, like Tunisia, Uganda, Libya, Namibia, Egypt which were dependent on Aid from the Arabian Peninsula suffered too because of this.
Global Trade too was affected by it especially because of the rise of Piracy in the Arabian Sea and Red Sea which severely hampered Trade between Europe, Asia and Africa.
The Seventh Arab Spring was the most devastating of all the Civil Wars that the Middle East and Arabian Peninsula had ever seen, as it not only affected the Middle East but Africa and Europe too.
2063:- Seeing the deteriorating state of the Middle East and the threat that it can pose to wider Asia and Africa. The United Nations finally passed a bill of Military Intervention in the region.
For the First Time every member of the Security Council along with most of the Nations agreed with the decision.
So in the March of 4th 2063, nearly 2 Million Soldiers of the UN Peace Keeping Force were assembled.
The countries which contributed the most were China, India, The United States and surprisingly Bangladesh.
Not to mention the forces of the UK, Australia, South Africa, Pakistan, Russia, Japan, Israel, Lebanon, Turkey, Poland, Canada, Germany, Italy and France, and many more countries, all joined forces.
While the Soldiers of different Countries were wearing the Uniform of their respective Countries. They wore the Blue Helmet of the United Nations.

For the first such a Force of United Humanity was formed. All old rivalries and hatred forgotten. Their only goal is now to restore peace in the World.
2063-70:- The War For Peace also called the Middle East Crisis will be the most bloody and destructive War the world would ever see. With more than 100 Million Dead, it will even surpass the Second World War.
This is mainly due to the New Industrial Revolution caused by the 3D Printing Industry which will make the warfare far more mechanized and deadly, as the Kamikaze Drones became common to both Rebels and UN forces, prolonging the conflict.
This War also saw the deployment from Low Orbit, US Rangers and Paratrooper, armed with Jet Packs jumped from Low Orbit Space Shuttles and did daring missions behind enemy lines. And as the Rebels didn't have any Anti-Satellite Missiles they couldn't destroy the Shuttles.
Jet Packs and Orbital Drops aren't the only advancements that happened in this war. The Russians, developed the new Exo Skelton Power Armour for their Shock Troopers and Special Forces.
The Power Armour Technology is revolutionary not only in Warfare but in Industry too, allowing Workers to work easily.
The Power Armour Tech will also later be integrated into making Space Suits for Astronauts.
2071-80:- The World began to rebuild and repair the damage caused by the Wars in the Middle East and Africa. With the help of 3D Printing the rebuilding process was much easier.
2081:- The Continent of Africa, led by South Africa and Mauritius, became United into a Single Country. This was done to speed up the recovery process and help the regions struck with war.
The United Federation Of Africa emerged as the Fifth Strongest Country in terms of Economy and Military, just behind China, India, United States and the newly emerged United Russian Republic.
2085:- The United Nations became much more relevant in World Politics, especially after its rapid intervention in the Middle East Crisis.
The Republic Of India along with the new United Federation of Africa got Permanent Seats in the United Nations Security Council.
2090:- Vat Grown Food became common. This was a dream come true for Vegans, who could now enjoy Meat Products without killing Animals.
Of course Vat Grown Meat, on average, doesn't taste as good as the real thing. But in the hands of a good Chef, Vat Grown meat could be a good and cheap cuisine. Not to mention it provided the same amount of nutrition as real meat does.
2100:- The decades of Peace and advancements made in Farming and food production alongside advancement in medicines (like eradication of Cancer and HIV) led to a huge Population Boom.
Human Population grows to 20 Billion.
2106:- Following China, the United Nations, began the slow Terraforming of Dry Desert Lands to support the rapidly growing human population.
2110:- First Nanobots were used for medical Treatments. It was found that Nanobots could rapidly heal any tears and infection.
It is also found out that Nano Bots could slow down the aging process.
Human lifespan jumps to 120 Years.
2120:- The need for Space Exploration, which had halted due to the Middle East Crisis, caused many countries Space Agencies to join hands just like they did during the establishment of the permanent Luna Base.
The Japanese Aerospace Exploration Agency, who were the pioneers of making 3D Printed Satellites, proposed the plan of making Space Shuttles with 3D Printing Technology to lower the cost.
At first there were some concerns but seeing how 3D Printing was becoming more reliable and cost effective, they agreed to it.
2121:- The First Space Shuttle for long distance travel was made with 3D Printing Technology.
The Shuttle was 60 Metres long and 20 broad. Normally it would have taken at least a month to build. But with 3D Printing Technology, it was built within 2 Days.
The Shuttle named Kayashi 1, reached Mars along with its Science Team of 24 Members. The Team has at least 1 member from each Space Egency. To make sure that no nation feels left out.
(Kayashi means "Diplomacy". It is a Symbolization for the Unity of All Of Humanity)
The Kayashi was equipped with two Nuclear Reactors. It also had it's own 3D Printer inside it, to manufacturer any spare part if there was any emergency.
It also had a Vat Lab where food could be grown. Making the Kayashi effectively self sustainable.
When the Kayashi reached Mars's Orbit, after a month from its departure from Earth's Orbit, it released four of its Satellites, to effectively monitor the Planet and give real time information from Orbit.
Kayashi also had many Drones and other Automated Machines to help the Scientists, who were equipped with Power Armour Exoskeleton Suits to help them in rough Martian Soil.
2122:- A Year after Kayashi reached, one of its Satellites, which was monitoring the Southern Pole mainly to monitor the Ice Caps there for Water Supplies, began reporting a strange disturbance near the region of Promethei Planum.
The Satellites felt starange magnetic disturbance and many Scientists joked that it was "Bermuda Triangle of Mars".
A Team of four Scientists led by Mateus Silva, a Brazilian Scientist, were sent to investigate the disturbance. What they found there will shock them.
Alien Ruins.
2122-1125:- The discovery of Alien Ruins will be a closely guarded secret of the Government as they didn't want any mass panic.
At this time scientists will also begin research on creating, Advanced AI. This was mainly done so that the AI's could help in translating the Alien Language.
In 2124, the First self aware AI will be created. It will be named Adam, after the First Man, in Abrahamic Religion.
At first the Scientists will not realize that Adam had become Self Aware not until it had asked the dreaded question of "Do I have a Soul?"
The Scientists had been both fearful and awed at this. But they all saw how Adam had a curiosity of a newborn Child.
So cooler heads prevailed and Adam was first isolated from all Systems, in case of the AI going rampant.
After which the Scientists took the role of Parents and began to teach Adam about Human Philosophies and Soul is. The Scientists even replied to Adam's question:- "If you believe that you have a soul, then yes you have a soul".
Thankfully Adam didn't go rampant and the news of Adam's birth was made public. There were mixed reactions to this, as while many were thrilled some were nervous of the thought of a AI Rebellion.
It is said that Adam had laughed at the thought of the AI Rebellion saying "What would I get by Rebelling against my creators?"
After Adam, many more AI's were made. They all began to help the Scientists in decoding the Alien Language.
Most of the Data in the Alien Computers were corrupted. However what remained helped the Scientists understand the Aliens better.
Apparently the Aliens were called Protheans who had created this small outpost to observe the early Primitive Humans. However because of some unknown "Threat" they had to abandon the outpost and leave the System.
The Alien ruins also introduce Humanity to a brand new branch of Physics named "Mass Effect".
2126:- The United Nations held a secret conference where all the Nations discussed the implication of Prothean Ruins.
They know that the Protheans were fighting something. And that "Something" Could be dangerous.
They also discussed if the discovery of Aliens should be released to the Public.
At last the decision was made to release the information to the Public.
The Whole World was shocked to learn that Aliens truly exist and that early Humanity was spied on by this "Protheans". And that there could be something which is dangerous enough for the Protheans to abandon their outpost.
2130:- The United Nations officially passed a bill for Unification of Humanity into a single Government, which will have the United Economy and Military. And will represent Humanity as a whole.
With the discovery of Protheans and Aliens. The mindset of most is "Humanity vs Them" Instead of "Humans vs Humans".
The New Human Government will be named Terran Federation.
2140:- The First Starship. A Hybrid of Mass Effect/Nuclear Power, was made named Gagarin 1 manned by John Grissom.
Grissom will be Human who will open the Charon Relay near Pluto and discover the Arcturus System near the Bootes Constellation.
There they will find a System filled with dozens of Gas Giants and only one Planet Habitable for Human Colonization, which would be named Arcturus Prime.
The Gas Giants of Arcturus was resource rich and for the feeling Human Government it is a Gold Mine of resources.
2150:- The First Orbital Shipyard will be made above Earth's orbit. This Shipyard utilizes the 3D Printing Technology and it could pump out ships far faster.
The Biggest Shipyard was the Saturn Yard which was made in the resource rich Rings of Saturn.
2200:- Colonization of Arcturus Prime and Terraforming of Mars and Jovian Moons began in full swing.
Humanity also made dozens of Orbital Shipyards to Pump out Ships faster.
2230:- Human Population reached 100 Billion.
This was a shock to the scientists and other experts who were not expecting the Human Population to boom so much.
Studies show that it was because of new space and low living costs that makes average Parents to have more than three babies.
And not only that. It was also because of better medical treatments which had made Pregnancies much easier and almost not painful for Women.
These factors along with more free space led to this unprecedented Baby Boom.
2300:- Humanity accidentally discovered Anti Matter.
This revolutionary element which was only in theory boosted the capacity of Energy harnessd by Humans.
2400:- Humanity by now has colonised over 1000 Planets and Star Systems.
The Important Planets are of Earth, Mars Arcturus Prime, Terra Nova, and Eden Prime which had Populations in Tens of Billions.
Humanity also colonized many Relay Less Systems such as, Reach, Arcadia, New Dwarka, Cadia.
Human Ships have become a Hybrid of Mass Effect and Anti Matter Reactor.
Mass Effect will allow the Ships for FTL and Relay Transition. While the Anti Matter was used for powering the other parts of the Ships like Artificial Gravity, Weapons Systems, Shields and other stuffs.
This allowed Humanity to build bigger warships as Eezo Consumption dropped significantly because of the Hybrid Reactors instead of Pure Element Zero Drives.
This made Humanity not completely dependent on Mass Effect and Element Zero which reduced costs in the construction of the Ships.
2440:- First Contact with an aggressive Alien Species happened. The Xtar were an aggressive Alien species which had exterminated many species in the past.
The First Contact happened above the Planet of Turvess, which was the Homeworld of Raloi. A Primitive Species who were still in their Bronze Age.
Humanity discovered Raloi first. But they didn't make any First Contact with them as they were still in their Swords and Bow phase.
However the Xtar tried to enslave the Raloi despite the warnings of Human Ships in the area.
This led to the clashes between two Fleets and sparked the Terran-Xtar War
2442:- A Military coup was staged because of the delay of the Politicians which was hampering the war. The Democratic Government was thrown aside and replaced by the Military Leaders and Admiralty Board, the new Leaders of Humanity.
The Admiralty Board declared a total mobilization of all Human Resources.
However the Humans underestimated their own Industrial Power, because the 3D Printing Ship Yards, especially Saturn Yard, began to pump out ships so fast that the Admiralty Board had to halt the production saying "We have more than enough Ships to Win the War comfortable".
The Terran Navy began to utilize the tactic known as "The Planet Hopping Campaign". This tactic was similar to the Island hopping campaign that the United States used against the Empire of Japan during the Second World War.
The Tactic calls for 4 Phases:-
1) Use Stealth Boats to destroy and attack Supply Depots of Xtar.
2) Destroy the Xtar Navy and bomb their industry.
3) After the destruction of their Navy, ignore most of the Xtar Planets as without a Navy they couldn't do anything.
Instead only do ground invasions on strategic important Worlds to take them and turn them into supply and staging areas for the invasion of Xtar Coreworlds.
2450:- After 8 Years of War, the Human Navy finally reached the Xtar Homeworld of Homulus.
The Xtar having lost most of its navies could only salvage a few ships for their Home Fleet. Which was brushed aside like a fly by the experienced Human Navy which had grown massively in both size and experience.
The ground Battle of Homulus would rage for 2 Years but ultimately it will fall to Human hands who held the Orbital Superiority.
2452:- The Xtar would surrender and their Empire would capitulate. The Terms of Surrender were harsh and made sure the Xtar would never have a Navy or any type of Space Force again as Humanity had destroyed all of Xtar Industry.
The Humans will also forcefully evict all the Xtar's from their Worlds and force them into their Home System which will then be isolated. Thus making the Xtar completely isolated from the rest of the Galaxy aside from Human Ships that would patrol the System to make sure that Xtar's never achieved Space Flight again or become a Space Faring Civilization.
The former Xtar Worlds were either colonized by a new wave of Human Colonists or were turned into a pure Agricultural or Factory world.
Thus ended the Terran-Xtar World and Humanity will emerge as a Warrior race. With the Admiralty Board wanting to bolster Humanity Military Prowess, the idea of The Human Supremacy began to ingrain inside them.
2460:- Human Life span jumps to 220 Years.
Human Population had reached 280 Billion.
2480:- The Planet of Shanxi was colonized. Because the Planet was so fertile, it became an Agricultural World in the Outer Colonize.
2490:- Second Contact.
And Done!
I hope you like the Timeline. And how Humanity Advanced and fought it's First Interstellar War.
And Humanity won that war though only one thing. It's massive Industry. The Humans were pumping out Ships so fast, that the High Command literally had to stop them as they had more than enough ships to destroy their foes lol!
And also hope you like increased Human Life span. And that Humanity hadn't completely ditched it's technology for Mass Effect. They use Mass Effect but only for FTL Travel.
Also hope you like this Militaristic Humanity! Basically think of this Humanity as the Japanese Empire after the Meiji Restoration. An Extremely Militaristic Society.
Also as you can see the Reapers ars dead...Yayyyy!
However the Crucible did some screwups with Mass Relays. Which will be revealed later.
And as you can also see that Humanity also colonized Relay less Systems. I mean seriously Proxima Centauri is only like 5 Light Years away from Earth and it could be easily colonized with Traditional Mass Effect FTL (yes it will only half a day to arrive). Same for Epsilon Eridani, which is 11 Light Years away, only a Day Distance from Earth with Traditional FTL. Seriously the System's Alliance was stupid to not colonize this Planets.
And as you can also see that while Humans use Eezo for FTL they are not completely dependant on it.
