Totally Spies: Clover's Fabulous Birthday Celebration
Chapter 1
AN: I will still be writing KP fanfictions, but I decided to try writing a story for Totally Spies. Let me know what you think of it.
It was 7:00 am in LA at the University of Malibu. The sun was just lighting upon a huge penthouse in the middle of said university. As it did, one of the three girls who currently occupied the penthouse was just waking up. Clover Ewing, one of the star spies for the World Organization Of Human Protection (WOOHP for short) was getting ready to celebrate her birthday.
She was positively giddy.
"Today is going to be so much fun!" she thought ecstatically. "And fabulous."
And she had no doubt that her spy partners and best friends, Sam Simpson and Alex Casoy would help her have the time of her life. As long as no villain came along to screw it all up. As spies, foiling villainous schemes was something the girls often had to do on a regular basis. Clover hoped that wouldn't be the case on this day. On the whole, however, she was also very excited to be spending her birthday with Sam and Alex. They also invited some of their other friends to the birthday party they'd be having for Clover at their penthouse. Clover was especially elated that her mother was coming over and bringing along Clover's little sister, Daisy.
"Clover! Can you come to the kitchen, please?!" Sam's voice called.
Clover went out of her bedroom and made her way over to the kitchen.
"Sam? Alex? What's the…" Clover's voice trailed off when she saw Sam and Alex in the kitchen with big smiles on their faces. Clover also noticed a delicious looking stack of pancakes. The edge of the highest pancake was surrounded by whipped cream and had "Happy Birthday, Clover!" written in frosting in the center.
"Happy Birthday, Clover!" Sam and Alex said in unison.
Clover gained a look of surprise.
"Aw, you guys," Clover said with a big smile. "That is so sweet. Are those pancakes?"
"We decided to make breakfast for you on your birthday," Alex explained.
"We found this recipe on the internet for birthday pancakes and followed the directions exactly," Sam spoke.
"Well, it does look delicious," Clover commented.
She went over to the table and grabbed a fork. She took a bite of the pancakes and put it into her mouth… before smiling big time.
"Wow, this IS delicious," Clover exclaimed. "Sam, I know you're not usually good at cooking but this is amazing."
Sam smirked, "I'm glad you think so, Clover."
"Hey, Clover, when did you say your mom and sister were coming over?" Alex asked.
"They should be here at noon," Clover answered.
"You know, I don't think we've ever met your little sister, Clover," Sam spoke. "What's she like?"
Clover smiled big time, "My little sister, Daisy, is, like, the coolest little sister you'd ever want. She's only fourteen years old and she's already highly skilled in karate. She and I were very close before I moved to Beverly Hills."
"That sounds awesome, Clover," Alex said cheerfully. Before she developed a nervous look. "But are you sure we won't have the same problem with her that we had with our moms, if you know what I mean?"
Clover and Sam know Alex had to be referring to the SUDS incident. Which was exactly around the time they almost had to give up being spies when they got busted by their moms.
"Don't worry," Clover said with the wave of her hand. "Daisy already knows we're spies."
"She does?!" Sam said in total surprise.
"Well, it was my mom's idea," Clover explained. "She figured that if she and I were both going to be WOOHP agents then Daisy would have to know about WOOHP too. We already talked to Jerry about that and he was ok with it as long as we only told Daisy and no one else. She was actually very fascinated when we told her."
"Well, I guess it is good that your sister knows," Sam said. "Cause it lowers our chances of us having another "family incident".
"Yeah, the one with our moms was way more than we could handle," Alex spoke. "Not to mention embarrassing."
"Yeah, Jerr really should have made sure there was no one else in the beach house before he WOOHPed us and our mothers, which is how they found out we were spies in the first place," Clover groaned. "Talk about our most embarrassing moment ever."
"Well, at least our mothers are ok with us being spies now," Alex added. "Not to mention they became spies themselves."
"Yeah, that's more than good," Sam said. "And hopefully Jerry won't WOOHP us at a very bad time again."
"I wouldn't count on it," Clover said wearily. "In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if he WOOHPed us all right now."
Sam and Alex developed nervous looks on their faces.
Suddenly, Clover's compowder started beeping.
Clover answered, "Hello?"
A hologram of Jerry Lewis, the head of WOOHP appeared on Clover's compower.
"Good morning, Girls," Jerry spoke. "And Happy Birthday, Clover."
"Jerry decided to simply page us on the compowder instead of WOOHPing us?" Alex said in surprise.
"Now there's something you don't see everyday," Sam commented.
"Yeah, who are you and what have you done with Jerry?" Clover said.
"I figured there was no need to WOOHP you on your birthday, Clover," Jerry explained. "Not to mention I don't think it would do me any good."
"Aw, thanks, Jerr, that's very considerate of you," Clover said with a smile.
"You're welcome, Clover," Jerry said. "I just called to wish you a happy birthday. I also wanted to inform you girls that it's pretty quiet on the villain front as it stands. I'll only WOOHP you if the situation calls for it, but for now, you can go about having your birthday celebration."
"Gee, thanks, Jerr," Alex spoke.
"I also wanted to inform you that Dean, Britney and Blaine will be attending your birthday party as you requested, Clover," Jerry informed.
"Thanks, Jerr," Clover said in appreciation. "Catch you later."
Clover shut off her compowder.
"You know, Clover, I'm surprised you wanted to invite Blaine, after what he said to you on the WOOHP blimp," Sam commented.
Clover shrugged, "Eh… we worked things out over the phone. We're not dating, but we agreed to still be friends. And he apologized to me, so it's the least I could do."
"Well, I'm very happy that there's no bad blood between you two," Alex spoke. "And on top of that, more of our friends are coming to the party."
"I know, right," Clover beamed. "This is going to be the most fabulous birthday ever!"
"As long as no villain tries to spoil it," Clover thought nervously.
The spies were unaware that they were being watched by a small flying bug-like camera just outside of their penthouse.
Inside a small room, an unknown figure was using the bug to spy on the girls.
"Now is the time to enact the first phase of my plan," the figure said in a young female sounding voice with a British accent. "This'll be the first step in getting my Aunt out of prison and eliminating her hated enemies."
