Ludwig sneered and sent mean looks to anyone who dared looking at him as he stomped down the street. He had just gotten the worst new of his life and he was pissed off.

"How dare she?" He mumbled. "How fucking dare she?"

It was one thing that his ex Siouxsie had begun dating someone else and he didn't hear about it until almost half a year later, but this took the cake. This was never supposed to happen. She had no right doing what she was about to do.

"That bitch!" He growled.

He turned the corner and saw her house further down. He knew he shouldn't be there but he couldn't stop himself. He was angry and demanded answers. He stomped down to her house and started pounding on the front door. When she opened, he snapped for his breath. She had gone blonde and she looked amazing with the blonde, wavy locks. Blonde suited her blue-ish, green eyes perfectly.

"What are you doing here, Ludwig?" She asked.
"You're getting married?" He yelled.
"I see good news travel fast," she said.
"You're getting married? You're getting fucking married, Siouxsie?" He screamed.

There was a hint of a smirk on her face and that angered him further.

"You bitch!" He screamed.
"Are you done?" She asked.

Typical her not to raise her voice in a fight. He always felt so small when she could continue talking at a normal volume while he tried screaming over her to force his way through. It never worked. She was not one to be pushed around which he learned the hard way when she left him. He opened his mouth again but nothing came out. Instead he looked at her defeated.

"Why?" He finally asked.
"Gee, I don't know," she answered sarcastically. "Maybe because I love him."
"But it was supposed to be us," he said.

She let out a loud laugh that broke his heart even further. He had fucked up. He knew that. Somehow he just expected her to get over it at some point when she was done with her rebound guy, and then she would come back to him. That was how the plan had worked in his head. He never stopped to ask himself if the new man in her life actually was a rebound or if she had found true happiness with him.

"You cheated on me," she said.
"I apologized," he said.
"Oh, that makes it so much better," she laughed again. "Seriously, Ludwig, take that attitude somewhere else. We broke up two years ago. Why are you still acting this way?"
"Because I love you," he said. "You were supposed to come back to me. Yes, I cheated and that was wrong but you forget all the good things we had. You forget everything I ever did for you."

She leaned a bit forward and for some reason he felt scared in that moment. He couldn't explain it but he instantly knew coming here had been a bad idea.

"I owe you nothing," she said coldly.

She walked back inside and shut the door in his face. His heart broke even further as he stood there staring at the wooden door. He wanted to knock again and scream at her to come outside but he didn't. He knew he was out of line coming there in the first place. He needed to let go of the idea of them together and work on himself and move on.

"I'm sorry," he said lowly.

She would never hear those words but he hoped they somehow traveled through the door and that she could feel it on the other side. He turned around and walked back the way he had come. Tears slowly started running down his face and he realized he hadn't cried over losing her two years ago until this very moment. He was finally beginning to accept that he had lost her.
