Chapter 1

A/N: Perhaps I feel I get back to what my roots have always been and what most people enjoy. Kakarot, Chi-Chi, and a hell of a dark and depressing story.

I haven't written anything substantial in so long but this came out in four days. Perhaps its a sign. Well I hope that some enjoy it.

Hurriedly she dodged the oncoming saiyans barrage, there was little coordination or planning. It was a haphazard throng of blasts that already pock marked the cratered landscape further. The crumbling remnants of whatever buildings remained here were nothing more than a blockage of line of sight than actual protection.

But still the saiyan wasn't taking her seriously. None of them do. Her legs pumping as she kept her ki suppressed allowing only the minimal amount of energy to exert herself as she didn't want to ruin her surprise attack.

"Come on girly is that all you got! Give me a show, at least do some screaming!" The mohawked saiyan laughed boisterously as he tore apart the side of a parking garage with that same sustained barrage of energy blasts. It ripped and tore at the reinforced concrete. Creating shrapnel in every direction but the woman only kept pushing forwards. Her long weaved black ponytail snapping behind her as she moved at inhuman speeds.

Darting along the now defunct city streets she neared her attacker, the hard brown of her eyes solely focused on the monster in front of her. The minimal clack of her athletic boots were soon the only sound ringing in her ears as the saiyan in front of her reared up one hand. A massive yellow glowing ball several times greater than anything previous quickly doubled again in size.

"Catch!" He laughed before hurling his arm forwards the massive ki spark sent forwards.

"Perfect…." Was all she said as her left arm screeched forwards. The metal joints and smooth forming plasteel punched forwards. A red dot showing in the middle of her metallic palm.

Her outstretched palm met the orb with a riveting bang. Her opponent having thought it over he waited for the fireworks but the yellow orb crackled for a moment then quickly began to dissipate. Shrinking rapidly until nothing remained and the only there was the woman with her metal arm stretched out. "What the hell was that cheating shit? What did you just do!?" He shouted angrily, having his fun disrupted.

"Thanks for the boost asshole!" With a grin the woman bent her knees and exploded forwards. The same arm that had just caught and absorbed all of the energy now directed itself back towards the saiyan. "How about you try it!" Her voice shouted as the same energy now focused itself back outwards. A sharp beam of energy tore out from her palm ripping forwards towards the alien who had just sent it towards her.

He didn't have enough room to react as the girl had caught him off guard. Certainly not expecting that little trick as he threw both palms forwards and tried to catch the returned blast. It burned at his palm as the concentrated blast interacted with his protective gloves. The smell of blood and burning flesh filled the sensitive nose. But the pain was only a rush for the warrior born alien.

Finally an opponent! It was certainly the only thought on his mind as the attacker came closer. Her body was on fire from the burst of energy and then met the side of his neck with a hard right kick.

His body snapped to the side, the impact stunning him as she was far stronger than she had let on. Perhaps this was the fighter that had been picking off saiyans before? But it was a woman? What a joke.

Losing to such a weak woman, his scouter covering his eye blipped and analyzed her energy signature. She hadn't registered nearly that high moments ago. She was less than a hundred but had spiked up to almost five? How was that possible?

But confident in his own power level the saiyan just set his gaze and charged. He returned with a punch of his own but met her metallic forearm which spun into a hard roundhouse elbow. He felt teeth rolling around his mouth before a second kick sent him to the ground.

The impact kicked up dust as he rolled several times. His instincts kicked him to maneuver as he managed to avoid a heavy hammer blow with both hands right where his head would've been as the woman broke apart a foot of concrete with the blow.

Spitting out his teeth, the fresh blood from the wounds now firing the saiyan up further as he went on the offensive. Exchanging blows with each other's guard, glancing blows and strikes were all that they exchanged. "Hah I love women with spirit! Such a shame you were born a weakling otherwise you might be worth screwing!" He mocked as he caught her metallic fist in his palm. She might be quick but not faster than him!

Both quickly settled into a flurry of punches, his scouter blipping and flashing warning signs as her energy levels spiked further. Five had become almost six hundred as steel and flesh met again and again.

During their melee the female assailant quashed any hopes of fun with her. "Don't worry, you're kind has already taken that joy from me a long time ago!" She shouted with unrestrained anger. Her torn blue fighting gi only veiled a handful of large scars from her missing left shoulder. The lines and wires were digging into her flesh along with smaller scars along her hip.

Yet to her those were nothing compared to the pain she suffered the night she was taken by a saiyan for his amusement. In one single evening she had lost more than anyone could imagine. But she refused to let it crush her will. She would not mope about, she wouldn't lament her weaknesses. No, that pain would never go away, and her pain was her fuel. She could feel the hissing gears and whirring as the grip tightened down upon her metallic limb.

"Bah, I don't want some sloppy seconds then. I'll just kill you then!" He tore at her metallic wrist and she could feel the crack and grinding gears pop as it dislocated from her joint. Yet she then pulled back drawing him into her as he believed her to be pulling away but no, her foot caught him flush in his diseased genitals. Underhanded but this wasn't a fight about honor or grace.

His grip faltered as pain streaked from the sensitive point in his body. His attacker disengaged her metallic arm limp at her side as she pulled back. She tried to make for a more desperate move as he good arm tried to snatch the brown object around his waist. Her nails were eager to dig into it but she was knocked away by a flash of energy. She missed her chance and pulled back to a red eyed angry monster.

With a slightly higher octave the man screamed and berated his foe. "You cowardly disgusting bitch! How dare you!?" One hand cradled the wounded genitals as his other aimed a beam of energy at her. "Just fucking die!"

A huge volley streaked right towards her, her flesh and blood arm managed to grasp the non functional arm and hold it upright. The red gleaming mark in its palm connected with the oncoming energy blast and did its duty in absorbing the energy. The threat from one attack neutralized as the saiyan in his lack of focus forgot about her little trick. With another enraged war cry he rushed forwards. His fists ready to do what his energy could not. His scouter jumped but he ignored its warning as six had become seven and a growing cause for alarm was the blazing heat source nos shining from that metal limb.

Yet the woman grasped her broken metallic arm and broke it off, throwing it forwards towards the saiyan who thought to bat it aside. Only to fail to notice the warning beeps it gave off as his forearm made contact.

Hidden Within the arm was a thermobaric charged nuclear explosive infused with all of the energy just spent on killing her reacted in a fraction of a second. The explosion sent her flying backwards skipping across the ground and the alien was lost in the bright flash of the explosion.

Coughing as she regained her bearings and senses. The ringing of the ears and flashing of bright lights slowly faded from view as the woman managed to push herself back up and onto her feet.

But as she looked around the nano transmitter in her ear began to react. "Chi-Chi! Chi-Chi respond, your arm self-destructed, respond or we will assume you are KIA and no extraction team will be sent to recover you."

Coughing Chi-Chi grabbed her stomach, the exposed circuitry was more than a bit uncomfortable for her frayed nerve endings that were now exposed to the irradiated air. Bringing her hand up to the side of her head she pushed against the signal. "I'm- Here." She said, swallowing a gulp of air. "It wasn't by choice." Taking in another huge breath of air. "Going to kill the saiyan. They might have friends get me out now." She pulled herself forwards as her mind swept the area feeling out the tingle of energy that still remained.

Ignoring the blood running from her nose she approached the crater, the mortally wounded occupant laying off to the side. His one arm was completely destroyed, half of his face was burned away, along with several chunks of his flesh from his torso were completely blown away. "Resilient aren't you fucker." Chi-Chi said, coming close, her eyes narrowing in disgust as she proceeded to spit on him. He wasn't dead but with the loss of limbs, blood, and portions of his face he was surely going to be soon.

There was only a mangled gurgle coming from his mouth, perhaps a laugh or a final pitiful cry. She didn't care which it was; she pulled up her foot and brought it down upon his skull.

Then again… and Again… again. AGAIN! AGAIN! AGAIN!

Her once dull gray training boots were covered in rivulets of blood, bone and gore. Her target's head now was nothing more than a pile of red gore on the ground.

Ignoring the beating of her communication device in her ear, Chi-Chi turned away as she could make out the signals of rapid jet bikes skimming across the land blasted surface towards her.

'Another saiyan dead…' Was all she thought as the clouds of dust got closer and closer.

[***]

Her mind was nothing but pretty colors and ringing ears as she was rolled onto a stretcher and brought deeper into a de facto hospital. She was just watching the ceiling roll by as she was pumped full of drugs to keep her stable.

A fight with a saiyan was a herculean feat, one of the only few humans that could say they had managed to kill one. And among those less than on a hand could some say they had killed one with their own hands.

Chi-Chi had a record of four including the one she had just killed. But for her efforts there would always be more…

Brought into the surgery room where a series of automated machines stripped away her clothing. The reflective lighting showing the scars all over her body, but the most prominent one was the one across her stomach with a large surgical mark remained. It was the least pronounced but the one that screamed the loudest to her. Her shoulder was still covered in old skin grafts as she had patches taken from her thighs and back to fix the growing issue.

Still she remained quiet aside from the painful wince as the robotic arms began pulling at the sensitive electronics in her shoulder. As she lay there the door to the room opened up and the audible sigh that followed was known to Chi-Chi. "You destroyed my best model to date didn't you?"

Her head on the table rolled to the side to look at the once illustrious Bulma Briefs sitting with a cigarette in her mouth and short neck bob cut hair. No more designer clothes and fashion, her lab coat with a dirty green tank top and blue jeans was her standard attire. The engineer and scientist, no longer the heiress billionaire.

Although her political standing had only increased. "What am I going to do with you if you just break my best toys?"

Chi-Chi gave a weak grin. "I bagged one with it. So keep doing what you are and I'll kill another one."

Bulma gave an approving smile with her cigarette and nodded. "That we can do but you'll have to wait until it's ready, but I'll set you up with a basic prosthetic for now… after all a mom needs two arms."

"Especially mine." Chi-Chi said, turning her head back up as a mask was brought down over her face.

"Sleep well Chi-Chi I'll be done shortly." Bulma said going to a large medical tray beside the bed that held more drill bits and soldering guns than scalpels and sutures.

With that she closed her eyes and let the gas take her into unconsciousness while Bulma fixed the mess she had caused. Rewiring nerves while away would hurt like hell and affixing them would be even worse given the precise nature of her work it was best to have the patient sedated.

Of course while Bulma worked she had several people gathered outside the transparent glass. Some were colleagues recording her work, doctors and mechanics alike. But two were the few remaining proper defense forces. Humans who had the ability to put up a fight against a saiyan, although victory was far from guaranteed. It was still slim at best.

One was a short bald headed man, trained by the legendary turtle hermit himself who had in turn trained many of those still alive. Chi-Chi was also one of them. While not his best or even favorite student she had quickly become the most dedicated. Their bright orange training gi's replaced with olive drab green, blue or gray. Beside him was a taller balder man with three eyes, a later student of Roshi but a Crane student who had been the strongest at one point.

"Incredible, that's two from this invasion. We've had." The shorter man Krillin said. "I mean it cost her that mechanical arm." He nodded as his chin rested on his forearm from the viewing position. "She's cut the team in half in a week, for her injuries that's incredible Tien."

"Yeah, it's impressive but it only means that each group that comes after is worse. The first saiyans they sent here years ago were nowhere close to the strength as the ones here now."

It was a cold truth, the stronger the saiyans they had killed, of which there had been quite a few. But by the comparison of humanity it was like drops of water to a hurricane. "The first invasion we weren't ready for. We lost more than half of humanity until the invaders left." Krillin said, reflecting on those painful years. "It took a massed nuclear barrage to kill two of the three monsters that came here the first time. The fallout killed probably half as much as they did…"

"Yeah and then they wouldn't let this be a defeat and sent another group but we had some idea of what to expect…" Tien spoke solemnly. "So we killed another two of the four sent… then another year a few more… then two years later we have… had four running around but Chi-Chi killed two and me and you got one last week. Leaving what little manpower strength remains to pin down the saiyans and then either bomb them into oblivion or make the stay so uncomfortable they have to retreat." It was either fighting to the death or brutal attrition through human lives. Their unwelcome invaders would cost a hundred thousand soldiers or maybe half a million civilians just to get them to leave or suffer enough injury that they wouldn't want to stick around."

"Still their end goal is unclear. It's like they don't even know what they want." Krillin himself remembered one dying saiyan laughing at the whole predicament. Commenting on how fun this had been, that he was just upset the whole fight had ended and he had lost their little spat. The fight had been an overpowered monster killing trained soldiers who had just done everything they could to buy time so that Krillin could land a surprise destructo disc cutting his foe in half.

All of that death, that suffering was because they believed it was fun. Krillin saw their bodies torn apart, the ammunition fired in near futility. Many of the men and women were people he knew, he had trained and worked with for this scenario… but to see all of them dead. And for what?

Some creature's petty amusement before it died? Years and lives wasted all for that?

If it wasn't for the genius of Capsule Corp it would be unlikely that humankind as a whole would not be around.

A massive sprawling underground complex thermally and energy shielded by the very power of the planet's core fueled the majority of life in the world. There were still massive reinforced cities several hundred times over that existed on the surface, so thick with steel and concrete and bristling with enough guns that would be comparable to ten divisions and the moment an intruding space pod was detected every defense battery and cannon would be firing in their direction before they even entered the atmosphere.

Unlike those cities which could take some punishment, two having already been destroyed in the past few years had killed an otherworldly intruder meaning there was hope and that's all their inhabitants needed to keep fighting. But the new Capsule city was hidden, several miles underground and completely self-sustaining at least for a few hundred years.

The top world was still suffering from radiation in some parts leaving very little room for groups like Krillin, Tien, Roshi, and those who worked with them to try and fight back.

"Well we better congratulate her after she recovers and we get word whether or not the other two saiyans get spotted."

"Agreed, training can wait until the threat is gone. We can only hope they flee and give us another year or two of quiet." Tien spoke with a quiet tone before departing the surgery room together. Both of them still had hope, afterall if Chi-Chi could kill two saiyans they certainly could get one together.

Chi-Chi regained her senses before she opened her eyes. The heightened state of her training had let her rest while being fully alert. Of course anesthesia was enough to overwhelm her conditioned mind. But even if she did want to remain asleep she had more important duties to attend too.

Dressed in a white sports top and white sweatpants Chi-Chi sat up almost robotically from her bed that she had been left to rest on. Her basic apartment accommodations were simply that, functional sleeping quarters, cooking and eating room and a mini walk in shower closet. All of it was just as bare bones as needed. Space was a premium as were luxury goods.

Her basic replacement prosthetic was a white limb functional and that was about it, nothing comparable to the mechanical masterpiece that had a built in nuclear bomb for killing maniacal alien murders. It could move, bend, grab, twist and do the everyday things but it would break if any kind of exertion her body was used to handling would occur.

But Chi-Chi had been cleaned up and left in her room, the silence filling her with relief as she had conquered yet another demon. One more alien dead was a future incentive for her training and progress in abilities.

Having lived through near death and suffered the harshest punishment she could've imagined just years ago to be where she was now was nothing short of a miracle. Of course she didn't wish to dwell on that. Wearing the bare bones clothing following her stint in surgery Chi-Chi made her way across the hall to the private quarters of the Briefs family.

A special privilege for those only working directly with the good Doctor and his family. Problem solvers, scientists, and high ranking military personnel were the only ones allowed on this floor without express permission.

Their brilliant minds were the current safeguard of an entire underground sprawling city and the main source of resistance and food stocks that had been capsulized that kept humanity from crumbling after the first invasion.

New technologies and revolutionary designs were being pumped out at an accelerated rate with the oversight of government bodies removed. Not all were successful but either proved theoretically possible or gave rise to future ideas.

Chi-Chi's super high profile mechanical arms were the most advanced pieces of technology fielded by an individual person and required her entire shoulder to be modified to house the complexities involved. Bulma had tried adapting specialized limbs for people who were in essence ki wielders and had the ability to directly fight the aliens in hand to hand combat as squandering the super rare components on an average soldier was not practical.

Placing her flesh and blood palm over the scanner the door recognized her and opened up the doors to the much larger compound built expressly for the Capsule corps elites.

Multiple servitor robots greeted Chi-Chi as they kept about cleaning and monitoring the location. At a moment's notice they could alert of changes and call in dozens of specially built androids to act as a de facto fire line to blow themselves up in a last ditch effort to save the Briefs or buy them time.

It was a terrible prospect given the nature of the Briefs family but their existence trumped anything currently on this planet… for now.

Walking to the main dining room Chi-Chi's eyes brightened as she saw 'nanna' briefs holding a chubby little ball of flesh. Several years old, and a bright spot for those that knew of them. There were very few. As she entered. A bubbly Bunny Briefs gave her a warm smile and welcome, "Oh hello darling good to see you again!" She spun around the little boy to see his mother. "Look who it is!"

"Momma!" He cried loudly, clapping his hands before jumping up from her lap and onto the table. With all the energy of a cannonball he leapt for her. Chi-Chi had to brace as she took the full force of his collision, hugging her tightly. She wrapped her arms around him, although unable to feel with one she still held her baby boy tightly. The boy didn't seem to notice as a small brown appendage wiggled its way up and around her prosthetic wrist. She gave a wet kiss on the top of his forehead to which he purred approvingly. "Were you well behaved for Nana?" She asked her head resting atop of his.

"Yeah!" He replied happily.

She gave a look to bunny who only smiled. "Oh he was so well behaved as always, such a cute little boy. How I wish I could've had more children?" She sighed lamentably, hiding the pain of those words from those around her. Not that she could really bear the thought of losing another. My Bulma is still alive… that's all that matters.

"I believe one of him is enough." She said picking up her son into her normal arm. "I'm going to go talk to your daughter and get some dinner as we're both starving no doubt."

"Of course, but you are welcome as always to eat with us with little Gohan, if you'd like I can watch him for a bit longer?" She asked politely but from mother to mother Chi-Chi understood that Mrs. Briefs was putting her pain into something else. She had lost many of her dear pets, family and friends. The bubbly debutante and party hostess was incapable of dealing with an isolated world underground. Guests came to see her husband and daughter, Chi-Chi was her sole dependent and her sudo grandson.

Chi-Chi would always spend her time with her child, but until they were truly safe this was just a small sacrifice. "I would have no one else." She pointed to Panchy, "Go hang out with Gramma okay, I'll be right back then we'll eat?"

He gave a slight pout but as Bunny opened up her arms for a hug he slipped down and went over to her. Slipping into her embrace as he had many times before.

It hurt the mother inside of her to watch Panchy take care of her child more than she could. Yet she refused to let herself be dissuaded from her purpose. She should be her child's mother but she couldn't be that if she didn't stop the aliens from rampaging all across the planet. She'd lost her father and her uncle to them already.

Her father died in the first attack, and her uncle Gohan sacrificed his life so that she would live after being caught. So she had named her child after him…

'What is it with you humans and trying to fight something you can't possibly defeat.' The saiyan spoke almost annoyed as he lifted up Chi-Chi's battered form. 'I mean you could've just left and hunted you down later but now you come here and try to challenge me?'

'The right thing young boy is often the hardest.' The old martial artists approached, his hands behind his back but his entire body was trembling. Doing his best to suppress his own anger, his fears had long since been ignored when he heard the screams coming from his best friend's daughter. He had promised his dear friend that he would look after her and had only been able to catch up to him after some time… following the screaming. 'You have all of this power and the only thing you do is hurt and kill those who have done nothing to you.'

'I can't change my nature anymore than the fool I see in you old man. Just as your race can't change its pathetic weakness… or maybe you came here for her?' This clearly wasn't his first time in a situation like this and the old man's appearance wasn't clearly out of a death wish. 'The altruistic type… you are the ones that really annoy me. You all believe that you can just swoop and stop me. It's so annoying. Why don't you just say what you want?'

Setting his tone firm, if the saiyan wanted him to be direct then he could try without trying to sound desperate. The sadistic ones could often be worse if they felt they had a way to inflict pains upon loved ones. 'Could you at least put her down, she has nothing left to give that you have not already taken.' Gohan's firm but insistent plea to see her suffering end. It was too much to look at for a man his age. He knew what had happened and wasn't that enough? Surely the girl could be spared.

'Sure… I can put her down.' It was then too late for Gohan to stop what happened next as he saw the free hand not holding her open up from behind her. The saiyan blasted her from behind, tearing off her arm and sending her body rolling in a heap in front of him. Laughing hysterically as the old man cried as he caught her bloody form and brought her to the ground. 'You didn't specify how to put her down.' Her blood covering his face and bits of bone and muscle smattered across his beard. But the gut wrenching screaming that followed was a true knife in Gohan's old heart.

Ignoring the bleating, laughing pounding in his ears Gohan gave the only last piece to save her life. A green senzu bean. She knew what it was but couldn't begin to chew as her now lost limb was sending lightning through her body.

'Such a shame she didn't scream like that earlier.' How low could a man be? No matter if they weren't human? Who gratified themselves in the suffering of others in such a manner. They must truly be soulless.

But he laid her down on her side watching the pain slowly face as she fought through clenched teeth to chew on the bean and swallow. Gohan apologized to Chi-Chi, telling her how he had failed her but wanted her to be at rest now. He put his hands over her face and closed her eyes giving the appearance of letting her rest peacefully.

The long quiet as the native and normal life of the area was reduced to just three people held the air in a tormenting silence. There were no distractions, one could practically hear their own thoughts.

'If we could leave my dear friend's daughter in peace for her final moments I will give you a proper fight.' Taking the chance to already announce to Chi-Chi openly what his plans were. But there was no response as she just let the small amount of tears run from her eyes onto the broken ground. He was going to die for her. Just like so many others.

'You? Oh that is rich, but since I already got my fill from her and I'm still quite bored' He cracked his knuckles'. I'll give you a painful death old man to amuse myself.'

The old bearded man tried to grin through his pained tears. 'Don't underestimate me, my boy. Despite my age I know a thing or two that may surprise you.'

Chi-Chi didn't see him again as Gohan broke away from the location she was laying drawing away the saiyan that had beaten, raped, and blasted her arm completely off. With nothing but to chew and swallow the Bean given to her by the last person she would consider family only to hear his pained screams and cries follow shortly after as the saiyan brutally beat him.

It went on long enough for Chi-Chi to know this was simple barbarity. There wasn't any honor in the match. Gohan's screams carried on the wind for so long until finally they just stopped. A scant mercy for her heart that twisted and roiled within her chest as she wanted to save him but missing an arm and blood. She was in no state to do anything.

Deep down she knew in her heart as the blood stopped leaking from her arm and her injuries were restored so that she might be able to live that she would not let his sacrifice be wasted. She knew how strong their foes had been and swore to match it, to make those saiyans pay and earn some measure of justice to the man who had given everything for her.

So Gohan had saved her life, giving it all he had left to spare her the brutal end but in that same moment restoring her body and allowing a new to be born in its process. Chi-Chi was pregnant with the first half saiyan hybrid and the first person to live through a face to face encounter with a saiyan.

Later recovered by a capsule corp medevac team that spotted the armless woman trying to walk along a cratered highway. It was the same one that introduced the miracle survivor to the blue haired heiress and her boyfriend who was helping the escort group take her to the now dubbed apocalypse center.

Chi-Chi asked Bulma for help, swearing she wanted revenge for the aliens who had done this to all of them. The scientist now left with little else decided why not and rapidly built the first prototype to affix to Chi-Chi's arm and following that was the first person to kill a saiyan in hand to hand combat thanks to her new technology built into her arm in the second invasion.

So for her efforts Chi-Chi was looking to get a new arm, but also keep her son safe as she had no choice but to subject her little boy to some experiments as it was discovered she was hosting a half human, half alien hybrid in her womb.

The good Doctor wasn't looking to torture or harm the child but a few blood tests, exposure to certain elements and understanding of their physiology. Nothing cruel as Dr. Brief viewed the child as an innocent soul. Its existence was born out of the sacrifice of a noble man and a young woman who had endured enough already.

Gohan's presence explained so much already. His strength was so beyond any normal human infant, reflexes, sense of smell, hearing, and adaptability. It allowed the doctor to factor in his test results by doubling his expectations based on Gohan. If Gohan smelled something then it needed to be twice as effective, if he could hear something it needed to be even quieter, and if there was a fight then he would have to account for his work to understand the saiyans better than before. As capturing one alive was nigh impossible and a saiyan mortally injured would sooner die than be taken prisoner.

Their ships acting like pseudo suicide bombers if prompted to. While nothing like a nuclear bomb they would enter earth's orbit and slam down onto the planet with enough force of a car sized meteor and level an entire area.

It was something soldiers could not fight against but not used against the special forces Z-Fighters like Chi-Chi, Krillin, Tien and others.

Understanding their reasons was impossible, so it was just not prodded further.

Still they weren't losing this war. They kept fighting back, taking chances to fight back, as there was still hope. They had reached a stalemate between the invasions. Using every chance to build up weapons and forces to do away with the saiyan threat. How that would come was unknown but if the best minds could be given enough time a solution could most certainly be found.

As Chi-Chi stepped inside the laboratory room she did not see Bulma or Dr. Briefs but laying across the table was the seed of future hope as Chi-Chi viewed her new upgraded arm Mark IV in production. She would not bend, she would not break, she would have her vengeance.
