Telepath Wolf
(Season 2)
Healer
Keep in mind that I do not own Babylon 5 or its characters, so if you recognize any of them, THEY'RE NOT MINE. They are property of WB and Straczynski. (Put in other words: sadly I am not making money out of writing this, I'm only doing it for the pleasure of sharing a piece of my mind with you all)
Please remember that this story is a FEMLASH portraying Susan's and Talia's relationship, if this bothers you, you shouldn't be here, so leave now if you're not comfortable with this fact.
Also remember that Susan is a werewolf, kinda like the ones portrayed in the Underworld movies. You know, strong, virtually immortal, and able to control when they shift.
Once again I altered the timeline to suite my needs for things to flow between them. I however, did not alter the B5 General plot line, so the major events that happened during the series, are still there, some of them with a little twist, but most of them stayed just the same.

Telepath Wolf
(Season 2)
Chapter 37 (63)
Healer
After I comforted Talia and made sure she was safe due to the situation she lived with the Mark'Habs, I lost my temper and had a horrible fight with her. I knew I was in the wrong in the sense of how I reacted, but she refused to accept her responsibility in the situation. She took a big risk without letting me know. She could have died because of that reckless action.
"Reckless? Have you met yourself?" she asked getting upset herself. I felt she still only wanted to lie down and forget even if only for a little while that this wipe out of a whole species happened, and yet, I kept pushing.
"Whenever I do something you consider 'reckless' Talia, it is because it's my duty!" I argued
"So I should have what? Let Delenn go by herself? And do nothing when I could help?"
To this day, I regret not telling her what I really wanted, which was 'no, but you could have let me know you were going to take that risk, we could have compromised and maybe I even would have joined you, or sent some of the pack to aid too'. Instead I mocked her "Did you really?" I asked triumphantly "They still died!"
"Yes! And I felt each and every one of them Susan!"
"So you agree you shouldn't have been there!"
"Of course I had to be there. I was able to bring comfort to them"
"So a whole different species is more important to you than us now?"
"Don't be ridiculous" she scoffed. And that was the moment I completely lost it
"Well, since you don't seem to care whether you live or not…" I told her as I half shifted and pounced on her, biting her neck and thus starting her transformation.
The look of horror she gave me and her shocked thoughts were not enough for me to stop myself from breaking my promise to Ganya. As soon as she passed out, I laid her on the bed and let the Captain know that I would take a few days off in order to soothe Talia. I didn't tell him then, or anyone else, I had bitten Talia against her will, in a moment of rage.
The next 60 hours were terrible for both of us. Her body was fighting the bite and a couple of times through the transformation I thought I would lose her. What made it even worse was that she had not control over her telepathic abilities at the time and she kept on broadcasting all the pain and anger and disappointment she felt. No matter how much I tried to soothe her, and to project my love to her, she kept on sending those feelings out towards me. There was still love in the mix, but it was dimmed, buried in between all the negative emotions she felt towards me at the time.
By the third day she finally opened her eyes, pain free and a wolf.
"Get out" was the first thing she said upon seeing me
"Talia, please" I begged her
" T" she seethed.
"I could order you to stand down" I said smugly
"You already took my free will on how this went down Susan, just, let me be"
And she was right. Even when we knew she wanted to become a wolf, and that I had strongly refused to comply, I had forced her hand then. I completely took away her choice of changing her mind, and the fact that it was out of rage and not a planned moment where we could have prepared her as best as possible, definitely added to the trauma I forced on her.
"I just didn't want to lose you" I told her softly
"And yet you did" she sighed defeated
I nodded sadly, knowing she truly believed that, it seemed that there was no way to recover from this situation, no way for us to go back and fix things.
"I'll give you some space and time then" I told her softly "But regardless of anything else Talia, you are now truly part of my pack. You will need training and guidance…"
"I'll reach for Maher, I don't want to see you Susan" she said gritting her teeth, really having a hard time controlling her anger.
So I left, and my office in Red Sector became my quarters.
A/N: Ok… So this shouldn't even be labeled as a chapter, I agree. This is more like an interlude. To explain where they are in terms of their mindsets and each other for what is to come.
Now, I did not expect Susan to get free of my control and literally do as she pleased in her angered and frightened state. I promise this was not how I originally envisioned Talia's change. I confess I was going to wait longer and do it dramatically to save her life when the rift in time opened and B4 appeared on the plot again… but Susan had other ideas. That is probably one of the reasons this 'chapter' is so short. I could not get out more of Susan once she was kicked out from her quarters. After she was and this snippet was done, she asked me to trust her, so I am doing just that.
Soon(ish), we will have whom we are on the series lead to believe was at some point in the past, Jack the Ripper, canon visit to Delen and Sheridan… There may or may not be something in there thrown at our wolves… Ok Ok, who am I kidding? There will be something related to Sebastian's 'tests' for them… Though now that I think about it, it might not be as soon as you might want
Also remember, the official reveal of the Shadows and the Rangers is just around the corner… actually I will do the reveal first like in Canon… Canon Episodes 20 for this, and leave canon 21 with the Vorlon Inquisitor AKA Jack for later on
And like most of you, I am still in the dark regarding exactly how 'Divided Loyalties' episode will develop here. I have a rough idea of what I want of course, since the beginning on Chapter 1 of TW Season 1, but not the details yet. Working on them now. So know that Divided Loyalties will be this Season's Finale, and the missing episodes from canon will be part of Season 3 of TW once I re arrange the canon S03 episodes to suit TW's needs.
And as always, remember to leave your reviews… they nourish my imagination.
