After the former owners gave him the necessary items for the little worm to sleep, eat, use and play with, Miles went back on the road with his new pet. He had to admit, he was very lonely once he moved to Bikini Bottom. So, he was very happy that he could have someone to keep him company. Of course, he still felt bad for the little guy, especially since that spoiled brat didn't care about him, nor loved him. At least his parents were decent.

Anyway, the little fish was walking back to his house, with his new pet in tow. "Don't worry, little guy." Miles assured him. "I promise I'll take good care of you."

The pet worm smiled, barking happily.

"Now that it's settled, I need to look at your collar, so I know what your name is." Miles suggested. However, that was when he saw the little guy having a sad look on his face. "Aww, what's wrong, little guy?"

The worm couldn't lie so he showed the blue fish his collar, which said its name "Chubby". Miles was a little offended by that. Maybe the little one was chubby back then, but it didn't need a name like that.

"Man, that spoiled brat really didn't like you, huh?" Miles said in disgust. That was when he got an idea. "Since you're going to stay with me, you'll be getting a new name."

That worm barked happily, hearing that.

"Now, what name should I give you?" Miles said, thinking of a new name for his new pet. "Connor? Nah… Rex? Nope… Scud? Oh, no. No… Buster? Na-?!" At the last second, he bumped into something, or rather, someone and fell onto the ground, hitting his head in the process. His pet worm looked at his face to see if he's okay.

Anyway, the person he bumped into was the fat-ass whale herself. "Seriously?!" Pearl screamed in anger, before remembering she was on the phone with her dad. "Dad, give me a minute." She pressed the button on hold then growled. "It's bad enough that my dad won't let me go to the beach party, now some sick pervert is bumping into my ass!" She then turned around, ready to give a piece of her mind, until she saw the little pet worm licking the blue fish, trying to wake him up. And she knew who it was.

"Oh shit! It's that blue fish I met at Larry's Gym." Pearl said, realizing her mistake.

Miles was slowly getting his bearings again and slowly getting up "Ooww man, what happened, did I hit a trampoline or something?"

"Bark!" The worm moves his head pointing at Pearl as if to say she was the one he bumped into.

"Uh?" He then looks at that seeing that it was Mr. Krabs' daughter Pearl whose large size covered his vision even when standing.

Pearl sighs internally before talking in an innocent voice "Hey, Kid you doing alright?'' 'It's best if I don't lose my temper, maybe he just didn't see'

"O-Oh, Ummm hey, Pearl" The little fish blushed. "Sorry that I bumped into ya." He apologized. "I wasn't looking."

"Oh, it's okay, it's not your fault."

Miles was relieved that she wasn't upset, but he started staring at her outfit. He had to admit, she looked freaking amazing.

While Miles didn't notice and his vision was blurred a little bit, the fatass whale took her time and decided to put on her innocent look, while checking herself out, of course. She still remembered how Miles was able to resist her beauty, let alone resist to stare at her ass, the only body part that EVERY male fish enjoyed watching. Well, she wanted to put that to the test, but on another time anyway.

That was when she noticed the little worm. "Awww, who's this?"

"Oh, this is… Well, I would say its old name, but it sounds wrong."

"What do you mean?" Pearl sounded curious.

"Well I bought this little guy from a douchebag of a kid and he gave him an awful name, so I was trying to think of a cool one but got..." Miles remembers how her ass felt when he bumped at her "Distracted"

'By distracted, you mean you bumped into my ass' "Well, at least you got the good kind of company." She knelt down, rubbing the little guy's head. That was when the worm slithered up to her arm like a snake and got on top of her head.

Miles was shocked to see that. So was Pearl.

"I-Im so sorry! He is just a bit energetic that's all, h-hey little guy climb down please, you can't slither like that onto people's bodies, not without consent I think" Miles said, feeling flustered and wondered if Pearl was annoyed.

Pearl had to admit, she was annoyed at this, but she was also impressed by what the little worm just did. However, she still wanted it off of her head. "Hey, little guy, can you get off my head, please?" The fat-ass whale said in the nicest way possible. That was when the little guy started slithering around her amazing body. She was so upset, but it was also tickling her as well. "OMG! STOP RIGHT NOW! THAT TICKLES!"

Miles just watched in astonishment as his new acquired pet started roaming around her body like her breasts, in and out making her shirt his playground.

This continued for a few seconds, until the thicc whale teenager finally grabbed the pet worm. "Got ya, you littl-!" She was about to say until she tripped over a little rock somehow and she was about to fall in the process. "Oh shit!" Her ass was about to land, but luckily, Miles grabbed her hand and used his strength to prevent her from falling.

'All the karate training with Spongebob and Sandy is growing on me' Miles internally said to himself.

"Huh?" Pearl said, sounding more than surprised, she was speechless, she would not call herself fat or heavy for whale standards but any normal fish would not have an easy way pulling her like that.

Miles chuckled nervously once he helped her back on her feet. "How the hell were you able to do that?!" Pearl asked, since no other fish could do that.

"I...have been through some large challenges in my life 'mostly by my bullies' besides I have been training on karate so i'm stronger than you may think" He tried explaining to her, but even he was surprised, surely she didn't fell down all the way but still he had done it.

"Well, not half bad, Miles." She said, actually impressed. She then remembered about the little worm and gave him a hard look. "Think you're very slick, huh?"

Miles then gasps thinking he got It "How about Slicky? That could be your New name"

"Bark!" The pet worm, now known as 'Slicky' said, very happy about the new name. However, of course, Pearl was not amused and looked at Miles.

"Uhm...pets I am right? Always wanting to play. I will make sure to train him" He said sheepishly.

All Pearl did was just place Slicky on the blue fish's fins. As much as she wanted to strangle the worm, she didn't want to scare the one boy who just caught her with surprising strength. Not to mention that she wanted to test him to see if he was going to stare at her ass next time they see each other... If she wasn't in a foul mood as it is.

"Well on another note. Don't mind me asking but what brings you around here?" He asked, curious.

'Is he seriously asking that question?!' "Well, if you must know, I was just on a jog, and was arguing with my dad about going to the beach party." Pearl said, plain as simple. "He's still babying me, even though I'm older!"

"Oh cool! I never went to a beach party but I bet it is awesome and really? How old are you?"

"I'm like 20 years old, kid." She said, a little annoyed that she's answering these questions, but she went back to the beach party topic. "Yeah, the beach party is amazing! But, my dad is overprotective of me... Always getting the freak to go with me as my 'bodyguard'."

The freak? Who is that? Someone we know?"

"It's Spongebob..." She grumpily said, not really happy to mention his name at all.

"Heeeey. Now that's just harsh don't you think? Spongebob is a Nice Guy who Just wants to help, what could go wrong?"

This only resulted in Miles receiving a big angry glare from Pearl. Sure, the whale has thanked the sponge on a few occasions, but the blue fish has NO IDEA of a nuisance Spongebob can be to everyone! Before she could say anything else, her phone was vibrating, meaning her father wanted to talk to her. "I got to go, see ya kid."

"See ya Pearl. Don't let your dad control you from having Fun" He said with a friendly smile before quickly getting out of there before she got madder.

"GRRRR!" She growled before she got on the phone. "Look dad, I don't need a bodyguard, let alone a babysitter...! Yes, I know that Spongebob quit being my bodyguard, but it's not my fault!" However, this still didn't convince her dad. "Well, unless that person's handsome or cute, I don't want one!" She ended the call and went back to her jog.

Pearl wished there was someone she could rely on, someone who would look reliable and trustworthy to her dad and not be a total stick in the mud on her, truly annoying.

Spongebob was her former babysitter/bodyguard. Back then, she didn't mind him, and maybe they were great friends as well. However, the times have changed and things weren't going her way. "If only there was someone who could convince him, or at least be cute and handsome..."

The Present

The blue fish couldn't believe what just happened...He was staring at the destruction at a house... Heck, it was HIS house! The same house that he and Sandy built a few five weeks ago! His pet worm was comforting him by rubbing his head on his owner's left leg. Miles saw this and gently patted his head.

"Great, just freaking great! My house is totally wrecked! Who did this?" He thought out loud, not seeing this coming whatsoever

That was when Patrick showed up behind his destroyed house, carrying a huge box. "Hello, Miles!" The pink starfish said, happy to see him.

"Uh? Oh it's you Patrick, sorry man but i'm not in the mood for small talk, I just lost my house"

"At least you still have your stuff." The starfish placed the box next to the blue fish, who was confused for a moment. However, once he opened the box, he saw that all his stuff was still here!

Miles Gasped. "My stuff! How did it survive? Did you get it for me through the rubble?"

"Yeah," Patrick said before getting confused for a moment then remembered what happened. "Oh! Well, I saw a huge rocket that came out of nowhere. And it was heading to your house, so I went to your house, grabbed your stuff, and placed the box outside before..." He then got confused AGAIN, until he remembered again. "That happened."

'Huh...maybe he is smarter than he lets out on' "Thanks man, you have no idea how that means to me, but looks like I have to go house hunting now to find a place to stay" He grumbles.

"Don't worry about it, Little M." He then thought of two things. "One, want to stay at my house? Until you find a new house and a job, of course." Patrick offers a place for Miles to stay.

"I don't know Patrick...I don't like leeching off others, the whole reason I came here was to be more independent" 'Among other things too'

"Oh, I understand." Patrick said, before getting to the next topic. "Also, I found a journal... With lots of drawings of cool things and some familiar women I have seen before-!" That was when the Blue Fish grabbed the journal from Patrick under four seconds.

"This is...personal, just forget about it, ok? I'll buy you some krabby patties later if you keep it a secret" Miles said, blushing madly.

"DEAL!" Patrick said, shaking the blue fish's left fin in agreement. That was when he saw Miles' pet. "Awww, he looks so cool. Who's the little guy?"

"He is mine, not too long ago I bought him, poor little guy. I wanted to give him some good food and a warm place to stay but now I'm left pondering what to do"

That was when the pink starfish once again remembered something! "Oh, I just remembered. If you want to rent a house, you might want to find one of those landlords. They might help you."

"Hmmm...that could work, I still have some money for emergencies, do you know where to find one?"

Once AGAIN... Patrick tried to remember... Until he finally got it! "I think one of the landlords is in the city." He said. That was when a limo appeared out of nowhere in front of them. "Uhhhh..."

Miles and Patrick both stare at the limo in confusion, not knowing why it had suddenly stopped right where they were, as looking for them specifically or someone else.

That was when the front door of the limo opened, revealing a hot, sexy, amazing landlord coming off the vehicle. "Wow... I've seen better houses than this... And that's saying something."

"Uhmm...it has been destroyed, probably by some selfish and small ego maniac but hey! Nice to meet you" Miles said.

"Nice to meet you two as well." The landlord said. "I'm Mrs. Goldfish. And you two are?"

"I'm Miles and this is Patrick" Miles said while the starfish waves his hand.

"Those are cute and adorable names." She said before getting serious. "Anyway, if you need to rent a house, young man, I suggest you follow me and get in my limo." She then got in her limo at the front.

"Should I question how you knew exactly when and where to find me when in need of a house?"

She lowered the window and said with a smirk. "I have my sources." That was when Patrick gave him a look.

"I think you should go and rent a house, bro." He said, actually telling him to do what she just said.

Miles just sighs "Guess I got no choice, there is no way I'm sleeping under the stars" He said before going inside the Limo.

Slicky got in the limo with his new owner. That was when the Limo took off, with Patrick waving 'bye'. "Hmmm, where was I? Hmmm, Oh yeah!" Patrick went back to his house so he could take his well-deserved break.

With Miles and Misses Goldfish

The fish boy just stayed silent while looking by the window, his worm sitting on his lap and resting for the moment.

The gold-fish woman continued driving her limo until they got to the rent houses. However, it was getting boring so she decided to break the silence. "So, how are you doing on this fine day, little guy?"

"Oh! I-I'm doing...ok I guess? It could be better if it went with no problems on my end"

The goldfish chuckles. "Been there before, kid... Well, minus my house being destroyed, but you get my drift." She continued driving until she finally got to the area of the rental houses. "And we're here."

Mile opens the door and steps out of the vehicle to take a look around the type of houses that were up for renting.

"Wow... These houses look amazing!" Most of the houses looked the same, except for the color. However, some houses were either boats, a shoe, a hamburger, a tower, or an apple.

"You damn right they are, we enjoy making the houses look interesting and be in synergy with the buyer" The landlord lady said.

"I be waiting here, come back when you have decided on something of your taste boy"

"Cool!" He said and started house searching. He continued looking around the houses to see what might catch his eye. Slicky was following him around as well, wanting to catch up and not get lost.

"Heh!'' He chuckled. That was when he saw a house that caught his interest "Wow... Look at this, Slicky!

The worm turns around to look at what his new owner was pointing at, and it was quite the sight even for the eyes of an animal like him.

It was a big and beautifully constructed Sea-Shell house with two windows on the left and a door on the front, all made out of wood, the color looked like it was brown wood on some parts while the rest was lighter like fresh wood. He knew this was the perfect house so he decided to find the landlord lady.

...

Mrs. Goldfish was on the phone, talking to someone. "I'm doing my job, sweetie." She said through the phone. "Yes, I'm helping someone rent a house… Well, four people, actually. Yep, the three of them are in that shell house, checking it out on the inside. Right now, I'm just waiting for the guppy for his choice."

"Who's the guppy?" Someone asked at the other side of the phone call.

"Well, he's a blue fish. He's sweet, kind, and actually cute and adorable."

"Blue fish?" That person asked. "Wh-?! "Who's the Blue Fish?"

"Well, his name starts with an 'M' and it ends with an 'S'. She said before seeing Miles."Oh, gotta go, dear." Mrs. Goldfish ends the call and sees the blue tang fish heading her way.

"I found the perfect house." Miles said in happiness.

Few seconds later

The two are at the front of the brown shell house. The very house that Miles wanted to have.

"Wow! Looks like you're not the only one who wants to rent this house!"

"Huh?"

Miles went inside of the new house and he couldn't believe what he was seeing! The house looks amazing inside. It had four bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen, a bathroom, anything a fish would need! However, what shocked him the most… Was that he was seeing three familiar faces from his childhood.

"Max? Johnny? Rex?!"

"M-Miles? Is that you?!" A brownish-gold porcupine pufferfish asked in shock.

"Max! My man!" Miles said happily before giving him a hug. "How are you guys?"

"We're good, dude!" Rex the purple gramma fish said.

"Glad to see you again, Miles!" Johnny the blue and white striped humbug damselfish said before looking at the red pet worm. "Who's the little guy?"

"Guys, meet Slicky!"

The little worm barked before looking at Miles' friends (and the readers/writers) and winked at them.

Once again, a great chapter, with a little cliffhanger. Don't worry, the next one will have Miles catching up with his old childhood friends. I'd like to thank AdventureKing2017 for all his help with this. Yep, I'd did the 'Break the Fourth Wall' for the first time too!

Trust me, next time, the next chapter will be a doozey!

Read, review, and God Bless Us All!
