Adrien was excited as he sat Marinette down on the sofa of his room.

"I'm glad you agreed to try playing my favorite game, Marinette. As much as I love Ultimate Mecha Strike, this game speaks to me on a deeper level."

She gave him a bright smile. "From what you told me, it's because it gives you freedom and the ability to travel and see exotic sights?"

He beamed at his girlfriend. "Right. And I know I have that now and I enjoy it, but I look back at Skyrim with such fondness. I think you'll love it."

She scooted over so he could snuggle in next to her which he did. "I understand. I know you want to tell me all about it, but I need to experience it on my own. This means a lot to you, so I want to get it right."

He nodded and sat quietly as she began to play. An hour later when she stepped out from Helgen into the world for the first time, he could see in her blue bell eyes that she was as hooked as he was. He kissed her cheek but even that did not break Marinette Dupain-Cheng from her playing.

"I'm going to find that dragon and kick its butt." She swore as she got ready to leave that evening.

"I'm looking forward to seeing what you get up to next time." He grinned, knowing full well her attention would soon be pulled away from the main quest. Marinette kissed him and left for the night. He sat down on the couch as Plagg came up to him.

"Are you going to start a new game too?" The Kwmai asked. Adrein shook his head and moved his cursor over to Oblivion.

"I think it's time I try something new, Plagg. Mind if I name a Khajiit after you?"

"I would be insulted if you didn't." The Kwami sat down beside him with a plate of cheese.

Miraculous*

A/N: Today marks the 30thanniversary of the Elder Scrolls series release. I could easily imagine Adrein playing the Open-World RPGs of the series. They offer so much freedom and allow you to travel as you please. For me, someone whose freedom is restricted by my visual disabilities, I know it speaks to me. I hope you enjoyed this little snippet.
