Bishops of the Old Faith... 5 Siblings, chosen by the Crowns and became gods, leaders of the dominant religion in their lands, the Old Faith.

Shamura, the eldest and wisest of the siblings, The Bishop of War, bearer of the Purple Crown and ruler of Silk Cradle, a biome inhabited by various spiders of different kinds who all show no mercy to creatures unfortunate enough to stumble upon them, evident by the skeletons and bones found scattered on the grounds or trapped in webbings, befitting for someone whose domain is War. They're the first crowned Bishop and the most admired and respected by the other Bishops.

Kallamar, the second eldest Bishop who wears the Blue Crown, whose domain is that of Pestilence, raining diseases on those who dare defy and resist him, causing a wide-spreading plague on his enemies. Yet he's the most cowardly among his siblings, especially against those who can actually match him and his siblings' in power. Because of it, he often distant from the others, yet he cares and loves them as much as they all love and care for him. He rules over Anchordeep, a deep underwater realm of the filled with marine life and chained skeletons that are probably dissenters or sacrifices that drowned.

Narinder, the Bishop of Death itself and middle child who'd bestows the Red Crown. Arguably the most powerful aong his siblings, controlling over the inevitable itself, the impending fate everyone eventually faces no matter what they do or are. The One that Waits for everyone. He rules over the afterlife, managing the souls who had unfortunately passed away.

Heket, the second youngest of the siblings that wore the Yellow Crown, controlling over Famine itself. Her desire to protect her siblings is as fierce as her wrath upon those who intend to seek harm on them. She deeply values her family and swore on keeping them all safe. She rules over Anura, a biome over abundant with mushrooms, some grown so large they're basically function as trees, with frogs of various shapes and colors that are all equally dangerous.

Lastly, the youngest and most recently formed Bishop, Leshy. The most arrogant among the Bishops, he bears the Green Crown, the Bishop of Chaos. Yet he's the most orderly oddly enough. He commands his followers, and they follow without question. His rule is absolute, his authority clear. Speaking of ruling, Leshy rules over Darkwood, appropriately named because of how dense and overflowing the trees are that sunlight's rays barely penetrates through the thick layers of leaves.

These five are family, they all care and love with each other ,their bond are as deep as the deepest of the oceans. And though how they show it to one another may vary very differently, in the end, their roles as siblings is as important to them as their roles as the Bishops of the Old Faith...

...But what if there is a time where their duties as Bishops clash against their strong familial bond. What if one of them end up committed a sin, a heresy so despicable and damning that goes against their religion, would their own kin bring themselves to punish their own family? Would they willingly betray them?

Those were answered when Narinder tried to change what Death meant, tried to make something completely different of what Death is supposed to be, go against what his role is suppose to be. By doing so, Narinder committed a unforgivable act... One that won't be tolerated by the Old Faith... one that broke the once unbreakable bonds Narinder once shared with his siblings...

His own siblings, family, those that he loved... they all turned against him. And Narinder turned against them. Family clash with duties. Sibling clash with Siblings. Heresy clash with Judgement. The cost after all this?

Shamura had their skull bash in, limiting their thinking capacity, losing some of their once great wisdom...

Kallamar had his ears violently rip off, his hearing nearly lost, his eardrums barely functioning...

Heket had her throat slit off, unable to speak normally as she used to, her voice can no longer heard...

Leshy had his own eyes gouged out. only able to see endless darkness, unable to see anything else ever again...

And what did Narinder lost? He lost his freedom, sealed away in chains by Shamura, who's arguably the sibling he's the most closest to, dragged away to eternal imprisonment, never to be free again as punishment for what he did.

What once was a group of close siblings is now a broken family shattered by their religious duties...

Five become Four become Three become Two become One...

"Shamura..."

"Shamura..."

"SHAMURA!"

Shamura snaps out of their trance. They look around and saw the tree-like worm for a brother, Leshy, staring right at him, his expression ever unreadable due to... well the blood soaked bandages that wrap around his face completely, covering the mutilation he unfortunate suffered from the... incident. The only reason Leshy is somehow able to know where Shamura is and able to face him correctly is because of the Green Crown he wore, acting as sort of prosthetic or replacement for his missing eyes and allow him to "see".

Shamura then turned to see their other siblings, Kallamar and Heket standing by. They also bear their own bandages covering their own mutilations, ears for Kallamar and throat for Heket. The 4 Bishops of the Old Faith were standing in Shamura's land, the Silk Cradle. The eldest sibling sighs deeply, raising their hand to rub their forehead, feeling their own blood-soaked bandages that covered their exposed brain. "Apologies siblings, have I been spacing out again?", Shamura spoke, their voice gravelly yet held a hint of gentleness so to say.

Spacing out had been more frequent for Shamura ever since the Bishops found out the last Lamb of it's kind in the Lands of the Old Faith, is still alive and became the new bearer of the Red Crown, and started a cult in the name of their heretic for a brother, Narinder. Plus their injury made spacing out more frequent despite the Purple Crown trying to make their brain fog less of a problem

"You have indeed sibling," Heket spoke softly, still audible despite her throat sliced apart thanks to the Yellow Crown. "Thinking about the Lamb again?". "I have, but it's of no concern. Where were we?" Shamura asked. "We were in the middle of discussing what follower is worthy enough to be sacrificed," Kallamar explained. Ah right, a sacrifice. "But enough about that, what about you sibling?" Kallamar asks with worry for his dear sibling in his voice.

"I told you it's nothing to be concerned of, my brother." Shamura reassures Kallamar and also the rest of their siblings. "Though it is worrisome of how much progress the Lamb made in such short time.".

It is true. Ever since the Lamb became the new wearer of the Red Crown, which in turn made them the new Vessel for The One Who Waits, Narinder, they have made quick progress in their crusade. The cult they started already has followers. devoted to the former Bishop of Death, their worship making him stronger day by day. And the Lamb had already taken down Leshy's followers in Darkwood, Amdusias, Valefar and Barbatos and converted them into followers of their cult instead.

"Worry not, Shamura. The Lamb will not get far, just like all previous Vessels the Red Crown had chosen over the centuries! Once I take care of them!", Leshy boldly claims with confidence, or rather arrogance. "Be careful making such bold claims, Leshy,", Heket said to the youngest Bishop. "Arrogance is often the downfall of many great figures in history, and we're no exception if we're not cautious in our actions.". Heket has always been protective for her family, Leshy especially. Those two had always been so close. Just Like Shamura was with Narinder...

Shamura quickly shakes the thought away. The past is in the past, though Shamura admits they still held love for him, even after so many centuries had passed, even after the incident. Even as far as to still feel regret sealing Narinder away. "She is right, I'm afraid. After all the prophecy does state...", Shamura grimly reminds them. "That a Lamb would be the one who frees The One Who Waits from his chains by killings us all, and bringing forth a new age upon these lands.", Kallamar finishes Shamura grimly.

"Not if we kill them first!", Leshy snarls. But then again, the Lamb would just be bought back from the Dead. After all, they served under Narinder, and as Death itself, Narinder can simply revive his vessel from the grave as many times as needed. Even back then, before the Lamb was chosen, when the Bishops thought they could stop the prophecy from fulfilling by slaughtering every lamb alive, and were about to execute the last one. The one, that unbeknownst to them will became Narinder's new vessel, and by killing that Lamb, they unknowingly deliver the Red Crown's next bearer right to him.

"Even so, as the Red Crown grows stronger, The One Who Waits shall wait no longer.", Shamura recites. "My Siblings, please remain vigilant, for our fates draws near, yet remain unknown. We may not know if or how prophecy shall fulfilled, only time may tell!", Shamura warns their siblings. "We may not know what waits ahead of us, or if we can stop the Lamb, but we can still stand together. Because we are the Bishops of the Old Faith!". The Bishops all nodded in agreement, ready to follow Shamura to the ends of the world. Though their relation with Narinder was strained long, long ago, their bond with each other is as ever strong.

Suddenly Leshy felt something. In fact they all did after Leshy pick it up. They felt a sudden surge of magic, one that is very unfamiliar from any magic the Bishops had ever felt in their centuries of living. Slowly, the Bishops turn to the direction where they felt it from, and found the source of the strange power they sensed. A book, whose velvet red cover is clearly worn out and aged to time, a golden insignia donning on it. "... Has it... h-has it always been there?", Kallamar asks, curiosity with an edge of caution evident in his voice.

"I believe it is not, Kallamar...", Heket answers. "Otherwise we've could've all sense it long ago.". "That power I sense... It is unlike anything I sense before... what is it?", Leshy was right, the magic they felt was almost foreign, maybe even otherworldly entirely.

Shamura carefully approach and pick the book up from the stone bricked floor, and brought it closer so they could properly analyze. The title was barely readable. "The Record of the Four Holy Weapons...", Shamura spoke loudly enough for their siblings to hear. "Shamura, y-you sure it's s-safe for you to pick up?", Kallamar called out, eyeing the book cautiously. "For we all know, i-it could a r-Relic of a god that once roam the lands, l-l-long before our uprising!?"

Kallamar could be right. There had been hundreds of gods that once freely live on the Lands of the Old Faith, before they all suddenly disappeared off the face of world, as if they never once existed. All that remains of them were were bits and pieces of them in form of Relics. This book could be once held by one long ago. Perhaps the blue feathered one, Chemach was it? Perhaps she has some knowledge on it, as after all, she does have a seemingly endless collection of Relics from various different deceased gods.

"Well open it and read it aloud sibling. Especially since one of us couldn't read anymore. Please?", Leshy asks Shamura.

And so Shamura did, opening the book to read aloud the contents. One thing Shamura easily notices was that no details about the author were ever written. No personal information about them, no age or a drawing of what the author look liked, not even a name was wrote. It was already suspicious enough that a book suddenly appeared, radiating a magic that not even the Bishops themselves could recognize. But Shamura chose to ignore that detail for now, and focus on reading the story.

"Long ago, there is a world where various Kingdoms ruled over the lands. Monsters of various shapes, sizes and dangers roamed around the grounds, the skies, the seas, yet none are too much of a difficulty to be dealt with. For centuries, peace and prosperity was all there was, no threat too overwhelming for the Adventurer Guilds or Royal Knights could handle and take care. The kingdoms could go on, and not worry.

Yet there is a over looming threat none could've ever predict and foresee. A disaster so great it affected the entire world, no one was safe from it. The Waves of Calamity.

The sky turned an unnatural crimson red, cracks grew and spread, and suddenly it shattered like it was glass. An enormous, nearly incomprehensible dimensional rift was spilt wide open, and outcame horrors the residents of the world have never seen before. Various new creatures and beasts fall out of the sky like rain, all are which resemble nothing of the monsters the resident are familiar with. Ruin and Death struck and many lives were lost."

Leshy hums in clear interest, invested in the story already. The green leafed-worm had always loved the joys of reading, spending his free hours consuming dozens upon dozens of books. Shame that Leshy had lost such luxury long ago when Narinder toke away his eyes. Heket often reads the stories for him to listen to now, but sometimes, Leshy still wishes he could see once again.

"Thankfully, the world was blessed with an ancient artifact that had existed as long as the world itself. The Dragon Hourglass, helps the kingdoms of when the next Waves will appear, as indicated by the falling sands in the glass. As such, the Kingdoms can be better prepared and not be taken as surprise.

Of course, this alone is not enough, as destruction and torment still reign all over the ends. Even if dealt with, another will appear, even more dangerous than the last. It was clear that the world needed something to combat the Waves, something to help them lead to salvation. To beat these otherworldly threats, they needed the Four Legendary Weapons, ancient relics said to be forged by the gods themselves.

The Legendary Bow, The Legendary Shield, The Legendary Spear and the Legendary Sword..."

"Oh, how intriguing.", Leshy commented. "This is rather generic if you ask me, dear brother.", Heket said as she folded her arms. When you're the reader for a brother whose blind but enjoys story time for centuries, you tend to read a lot of different tales and legends, and read the same tropes many time over and over. Read enough stories, and you read them all already. Still, Heket does seem rather interested in it still. "Just cause it's generic, doesn't mean it can be interesting.", Leshy argues. Shamura ignores their little banter and continues.

"These Legendary Weapons held power and potential that could stop the Waves. However, that potential must be unlocked. The Weapons need to grow. And for them to grow, they needed wielders worthy enough to possess them. But rather have denizens of the world to be their users, they call forth people from entirely different worlds. A world called Earth.

Each weapon have preferences and qualities they wish to see in potential wielders.

The Bow greatly values those with a great sense of justice, seeking to enact punishment on the wrongdoers.

The Shield chose those who will do anything to protect those who can't protect themselves and those they value, no matter the odds.

The Spear sought those who put great trust among their companions, and value them above anything else.

The Sword actively seeks those with strength in mind, body and spirit, ones who use their power not only effectively, but wisely."

"Ex-excuse me, but does anyone notices those strange looking creatures drawn on the book?", Kallamar peeks over Shamura's shoulder for a better view on the pages, as he points out the humanoid figures drawn on the yellowed papers. Indeed they were strange, as the species of the silhouettes of what seems to be the heroes wielding their respective weapons, they don't match up with any creature they recognized, besides maybe a monkey? It only adds to the book's already long list of it's strange nature.

"Mind telling me exactly what the creatures you spoke of, look like?", Leshy asks. "You still remember what monkeys look like, brother?". Leshy nods. "Well imagine them, but with all of their fur shaven off except for the tops of their head for an odd reason... O-oh, also with no tail.", Kallamar explains to the best of their abilities. Leshy seems satisficed with description. 'Alright, please continue.".

"However, each of the weapons face difficulty in choosing their candidates. Besides the Shield, which always gets it's first pick, their perfect Hero, the Bow, Spear and Sword always have to resort to picking those with major flaws, flaws that might lead to their downfall. And as potential candidates from Earth grew scarce, that even the Shield soon faces trouble with finding it's future wielder, the weapons grew desperate.

They needed Heroes, anyone that can save the world from it's impending destruction. And so the Four Legendary Weapons all came to an agreement. It's clear that by only choosing from Earth, they heavily limited their options. So they sought out other Worlds completely different for more variety..."

"... Umm, Shamura?", Heket finally breaks the moments of silence, as she stared at her eldest sibling who just stares at the book with their four eyes. "It's... it's all blank...", Shamura finally spoke for what felt a millennium had past, as they flip through the pages. "W-what?!". Kallamar snatches the book away from Shamura's grasp so that he could see it himself. He toke a look on the current pages. Empty. The next page? Also empty. Kallamar flips through the pages to see next one. Empty again! He then flips another, then another, and another...

Every single page pass the introductory are all completely blank. Not a single word, nor a scribble, not even a line drawn. "Give me that!", Heket takes the book out of her brother's hands as she took a look. Her brow raised in confusion. "... You're right?", Heket flabbergasted as she skims through the many pages left empty. "Why would anyone wrote a book and leave it unfinished?", Leshy asks as he faces each of his siblings as the book passes between them. Though he can't see them, he can still sense where of they are, especially the book due to it's completely foreign aura.

"I-I, ah, t-think we need to rid that book. N-NOW!? Who knows what will h-happen?", Kallamar panics, his paranoia at a high, as he tries to grab the book back and dispose it away. He just knows that book is trouble from the moment he sensed that damn otherworldly presence, and now it seems he can feel the magic coming from it is growing stronger?! He doesn't know exactly why or how, all he knows that the book must be gone and be gone NOW!

"Hold on a moment!", Heket pushes Kallamar away and stop him. She toke a closer look at the book again. Words were suddenly manifesting on the book's pages out of thin air. "W-words are starting to appear now!". The other siblings look at their sister with their eyes, minus Leshy's who just turns his head towards her, widened in shock. "Well read what it says!", Leshy urges Heket. Heket glances at her brother with slight hesitation, before going back to the book to read it's newly appeared words.

"The World in which Weapons choose to look for, is a world where several god-like beings once freely roamed the lands, before nearly all of them disappear off from the face of the world. The deities that still remain are five Siblings, their familial bonds formed by their shared uprising, bound by their duty in their Faith."

"You d-don't t-t-think the book is speaking a-about us?! D-do you?!", Kallamar asks, taking constant deep breaths to calm his nerves. He can't help but sense that something big is gonna happen soon, and he didn't like it or the anticipation of it. He knew it might be a coincidence, but when dealing with ancient magical relics, especially one with magic that is completely unrecognizable to them, you can never be too cautious. Ignoring her brother's clear panic, Heket continues reading aloud.

"However one of the Siblings had eventually strains their relationship with the other four by committing an act that struck fear and pain into their hearts, thus leading to his banishment from his Family. Since then, he was held down in chains, was forced to be sealed away for centuries, a fate granted by his own Sibling.

Yet despite this hardship, the other four Siblings continue to move on. Despite losing one of their own, the bonds that still remained stronge and sturdy. And as the years past, the Siblings became close and can always rely on each other.

Moved by the the deep and strong emotional bonds the Four Siblings shared, it was clear to the Four Weapons that they have founded their next Heroes that will save the World from the Waves. They think that if they pick ones that all shared a strong, familiar bond with one another, then perhaps they can perform better than picking random individuals with no clear relation with each other..."

Heket paused before she suddenly drops the book to the ground as she backs away in shock. Kallamar and Shamura turn to look down on the book while Leshy came to face to his sister, sensing the shock and disbelief from her. "Heket! What's wrong!? What is happening?" "Something, or rather someone had be newly drawn on the book." Shamura answers Leshy's concerns. "What c-could you possibly mean, Sibling!", Leshy demands as he turns to face Shamura.

"I-I... It's me... I'm on t-the book...", Heket said, sweat dripping on her face. And true to her word, a new drawing is being drawn on the book...

It's a figure whose body is covered in a very familiar robe, the design all four Bishop can recognize. It's same attire they all wore to show their status as Bishops of the Old Faith, down to the same symbols on the robe. But then the head of figure is what shock Shamura and Kallamar as they take a closer look. A bulbous, frog head with four eyes with sharp teeth on the mouth, with four crosses protruding from the head, wearing a crown with a eye on it's center.

Yet that's all not as three more drawings start to manifest next to the previous one. The three also wore the same robe, with one having a head of a squid whose ears had been teared off, a cross-like scar on one of it's eye, wearing a similar styled crown. Another showed one with rounded, bushy-like head with branches protruding out of the sides, a bandage covering it's entire face, also wearing a crown with the same eye-like symbol. And finally, the last figure shows the same but with a spider for a face, with four eyes and legs sticking out of the sides, with a crown that is more curved than the previous crowns.

Kallamar spoke the thought all of the siblings are currently thinking. "That's... that is all of us there... We-we're characters in t-this b-book?". Then a new sentence appeared below the four newly drawn figures, that was then read aloud by Shamura.

"The Siblings by which the Weapons chose to be their new users are the Bishops of the Old Faith...

Shamura, Kallamar, Heket and Leshy..."

Suddenly, a ring of fire was launch directly at the book, causing a miniature explosion that incinerates it. Smoke rises from the burned marks of where the book once lay on the ground. Kallamar was the one who threw that attack, breathing heavily before he straightens himself as he takes a sigh of relief. Heket could only stare at him, before it turns to a glare directed right at her brother. "Kallamar... Why in the name of the Old Faith did you do that?!",Heket demands as she grips onto Kallamar's robe harshly. "Forgive me, but I was simply doing what any sane creature would do with a very suspicious object that becomes even more so!", Kallamar argues to justify his action.

Shamura could only sigh at the scene before them. "What's done is done.", Shamura step in to break up the fight. "I believe what Kallamar did is the right course of action. That book has been showing constant warning signs, that I dare say it could pose a potential problem that we might not be aware of.", they said as they defend Kallamar. From its sudden appearance to now suddenly depicting the Bishops themselves as characters in the story, Kallamar might've had the right idea of getting rid of it.

Heket lets out a little huff as she let's go of Kallamar and folds her arms, as she turns to look away, dropping the arguement. A hint of slight annoyance expressing on her face. But that annoyance quickly turns to surprise, then shock and concern when she faces against Leshy... who suddenly starts glow a bright yellow. "Leshy... you're GLOWING!?", Heket quickly rushes to her brother, protective instincts taking over. She held her brother as she closely inspects his right hand engulfed in the bright glow, trying to see what is wrong.

Leshy quickly raises hand and while he may not see it, he most certainly felt it. The magic he can feel from his glowing hand... it's the same one he felt from the book and now it's all over on his arm. And it starts to spread all over from his forearm to this shoulder then to his chest. "W-what? what in the..." "AHH!".

The sudden scream causes the two youngest siblings to look over to where they see Kallamar panicking as he held his hand that is now covered in the same glow, as it starts spreading on his body. He immediately tries using the Blue Crown's power to try to rid of it, channeling a blue aura to cover the glowing arm. It dissipates and sees it's still there. Kallamar hyperventilates as the glow began spreading to cover his arm entirely, just like Leshy's...

"KALLAMAR!", Heket screams, her fear and worry can be felt from her being. She may not have the best relationship with Kallamar, and she may have been a bit difficult on him at times. But in the end, they're family and they love each other. She was about to rush to Kallamar's aid, but she quickly notices that her own hand is also glowing and just as quickly stop in her tracks. "EH! What is h-happening!". The glow soon spreads, just like her brothers.

Shamura isn't safe either, as the same bright yellow glow began overtaking their own body. Yet unlike their siblings, they remain calm and collected. Eerily so. "It seems we may have been too late, My Siblings." Shamura calmly says, as they look upon their siblings's state of panic and distress. Kallamar had tumbled and began staggering on the ground, panic rampant on every fiber of his being as the glow nearly covers most of his half. Leshy meanwhile had his body nearly covered, the only part that isn't glowing is his lower legs as he fell to his knees and started shaking, the overwhelming amount of unknown magic overstimulating him.

Heket looks at her eldest sibling, fear, desperation and panic shown on all four of her pleading eyes. She hates how helpless she is, how her siblings are troubled yet she can't even help herself or even know what is happening. So she went to Shamura, hoping they have some way that can help with anything.

"Shamura! Please help USSS!",Heket begs,as she falls onto her knees and grips tightly onto both of Shamura's luminescent arms. At this point, the glow had covered most of their body. Shamura's face was blank, their expression unreadable as their head hangs low. They seem to contemplating deeply, carefully using whatever knowledge that was left of their mimd after the incident. Seconds pass felt like hours.

...

...

...

Shamura finally looks up. Heket clings on the shred of hope that maybe they have something figured out. That even though Shamura may not have the same wisdom they once held, they had to have something, ANYTHING! But it was soon lost on what the eldest Bishop said next.

"I'm sorry...", Shamura looks at their sister's face, sorrow and acceptance etched on their face as they gave the best comforting smile they could muster. "I'm afraid there's nothing we can do except see what happens next. Forgive me...", they said as they close their eyes, awaiting whatever fate held for them.

Did the surroundings suddenly got brighter? It was then Heket notices that a large glowing circle had encircled the all four of them. The light grows brighter and brighter that anyone faraway can see it. Enough for Kallamar to snap out of his panic attack and toke notice of what is going on around them. His eyes widens once he sees that his siblings are completely covered by the light, and soon he is too. Walls of light suddenly surrounding them all.

He can feel his body shifting... no, transporting? He can feel himself sinking deeper and deeper to the ground, the light becoming too bright for him to see right now. Kallamar immediately tries escaping, shooting out his appendages out to cling onto something so he reel himself out of the light he's trapped in. But it was all futile...

A large dome of light had completely covered over of where the Four Bishops once stood, glowing so bright that it could be mistaken for the Sun. A singular cry was heard from it...

"WE SHOULD'VE RID THAT BOOK THE MOMENT IT APPEA-", The dome disperses into multitudes of small particles of light, falling through the sky like it was snow. In the place of where the Bishops once stood, was nothing. Nothing at all...

Floating...

That's what each of the Bishops felt when they're all suddenly knocked out cold. They feel as if their bodies are being carried away through the depths of the ocean, dragging themselves deeper and deeper below. It feels... strangely nice, soothing even. It is honestly needed for the siblings after their moments of panic they experienced beforehand. It's like taking a much-needed nap after a tiring day...

Unfortunately, those moments of relaxation and ease was shortly taken away near immediately upon feeling the harsh pain of impacting against a hard, cold floor. Smell of burning candles enter their nostrils, the cool air hitting their faces as consciousness starts returning to their being. One by one, they slowly awaken themselves. Leshy was the first to rise, standing properly on his two feet. And immediately he can sense the amount of pure magic from the surrounding area he's now in.

So many kinds of magic he can feel, such variety yet all is so foreign to him, it's almost overwhelming. Leshy can feel some form of the magic he once felt before he and his siblings were teleported away, lingering by. And he's pretty sure he can sense magic similar to summoning a demon on the ground below him. Yet not only that he can also sense some semblance of elemental magic of different kinds from the people that surrounds them... Wait!

"Incredible! The summoning was a success!", Leshy turns to where the voice was sourced. While he couldn't see no more, he always has the greatest senses among his siblings, especially in the ability to sense other's presence through their lifeforce and magic if they have any. And right now, he can sense a lot of it coming from the people before him. One held a burning blaze that can easily be recognized as some sort of fire magic. Some held the calm and flow of possibly water magic. Some he can feel held multiple different kinds at once. He can feel so much of it from everywhere

But the people that stood in front of him and his fellow Bishops, they held a sort of aura that exerts... holiness? divinity? Whatever it is, it felt similar to some of the Relics he stumbled upon, but weaker. Much weaker, Leshy noted.

"Oh Brave Heroes from beyond. We beg you! Save our... World?", One of the beings says in a masculine voice, before his tone slowly shifts to that of confusion and disbelief. Then finally, another sibling awoken, a loud enough groan coming from near Leshy stood.

"Ugh... What in the Old Faith happened?", Heket rose as she shakes off the tiredness she felt. "Heket!", Leshy quickly dashes to his older sister and hugs her. It startled the Bishop of Famine, but she quickly returns the hug, holding onto Leshy tightly as her mouth curved into a warm smile. "Easy there little brother, you almost made my throat burst with blood.", she says as she affectionately ruffles Leshy's leaves.

"-THAT BOOK THE MOMENT IT APPEARED!", Kallamar was next to awaken, suddenly shooting up to a sitting position. His sudden outburst had caught everyone's attention in the room. He toke quick breaths before Kallamar calmed down enough to be aware of his "surroundings. And immediately starts panicking again upon finding out he's in a unknown location. "Where in the Crown's points are WE!?"

"KALLAMAR!", suddenly his panicking state was temporarily gone upon hearing Heket's and Leshy's calls, their faces filled with relief. Upon seeing them however, Kallamar quickly notices the two strange objects in his two younger siblings' hands that were definitely not there before. Leshy held a rather well designed bow that is primarily white with golden detailing, sporting a large orange gem in front of the handle. Heket meanwhile held a small, silver shield with black detailing, rather plain compared to Leshy's new bow, sporting a green gem. For some reason, he can feel an immense amount of magic coming from them. In fact, the power radiating from the weapons felt similar to the Crowns they worn...

His train of thought was quickly interrupted when a load, familiar groan was heard near him. Kallamar turned to see Shamura laying on the ground, back facing up. They slowly got up onto their knees as they rub their bandaged forehead slowly. And in the palm of Shamura, is a weapon, just like the previous two. It's a white spear with similar gold detailing to the bow, sporting a red gem on the blade. And just like the other weapons and their Crowns, it radiates the same powerful aura.

"What is...", Kallamar then finally toke notice that he too, is wielding a weapon like his siblings, in the grasp of his appendage. A white and gold sword, like Shamura's and Leshy's, and embedded on the guard is a blue gem. Hold on... A Bow... A Spear... A Shield... and a Sword... Could it be that he and his siblings had somehow transported inside the story? Could such a thing possibly happen, Kallamar thought. Just what is happening right now? He couldn't dwell on his thoughts any longer when a voice calls out.

"Uhm excuse me, but... a-are you truly the four Holy Heroes?", a robed blonde man stood across them, and behind him stood four more. Judging by their attire, they seem to be in religious positions of some sort. The same man was then forcibly pulled towards Heket, who now holds him by the neck, her four angry eyes glaring at him. "YOU! Explain yourself! Right. Now.", her grip tightens, threatening to choke the life of him or even break his neck entirely.

"Heket!", Heket turns to see Shamura now fully stood up, their face giving a stern look. "Release him, now.", Shamura gently spoke, but their voice held high authority. Heket could only stare at her older sibling before sighing, reluctantly letting go of the blonde.

The man now free of her grasp, drops to his knees and began gasping for air, finally able to breath. Suddenly, a purple clawed hand was held out in front him. He looked up and sees the spear wielding Shamura offering their hand. Despite their rather terrifying appearance, the man took their hand.

"I deeply apologize for my dear sister's action.", Shamura gently helps the man to raise back on his feet. "She can be rather temperamental at times.". "It is alright, but we have some more important matters right now.", the man says, still breathing deeply to get more oxygen in his lungs.

"Yes, like where in the Lands of the Old Faith ARE WE!", Leshy shouted across the room. "I demand you tell us where we are.", Leshy toke a step closer. "WHAT are you?", he toke another. "Who you are?", then another step closer. "AND WHAT IS THIS MAGIC I'M SENSING FROM YOU!", Leshy quickly gestures to the man and his group. The magic he senses from them, it's all completely foreign to him. There are some curses ,magic, maybe even some ritual that share semblance to the magic the unknown group holds, yet it's all so different in every other way. Not just them, but everywhere outside the room as well. He can feel all sorts of different magic coming from nearby them to faraway from the room. He demands answers...

"LESHY!", Shamura shouted at the youngest Bishop. Leshy immediately steps down and turned to face the eldest Sibling. "Don't make a scene. I'm sure these... people will explain everything.", They glance at the blonde man, who they assume is the leader. "Is that correct?", Shamura spoke, their tone, though seemingly gentle, a looming sense of power and menace can be heard, like if they don't explain now, there might be trouble.

"A-ah, O-of C-C-course my Heroes.", the robed man and his group all quickly bow deep in respect and fear. "The K-king will answer any q-questions you four might h-have i-in due t-time.". The poor man is trembling along with the other robed men.

Upon hearing their answers, Leshy gave a deep sigh. "Though I prefer answers now... I suppose we could wait for it.", he said as he crosses his arms. "But don't think you are safe now. This King you spoke of better explain everything we demand of.", Leshy faces towards the robed man, easily towering over him. Combine with the bloodied, bandaged face and his naturally threatening looks, the man was effortlessly intimidated.

"Y-you d-don't worry about t-that, Lo-lord Bow Hero,", The man stutters, fear caught in his throat. "J-just f-f-follow me and your cu-curiosity will be satisfied s-s-soon.", he and his fellow group all hurriedly walks towards a upward spiral staircase that leads to a doorway, light shining through.

As they watch the mysterious group fled, Shamura turns to their siblings. "Shall we?", Shamura asks before beginning to walk towards the stone staircases . Heket and Leshy glance at each other briefly before giving each other a nod as they soon follow.

Kallamar on the other hand, was too distracted by the architecture and designs of the dark room they reside in. The stone pillars that held the room together, the simple details aligning the walls, it was reminiscent of the old temples and structures he and his siblings would sometimes stumble upon at times. Yet what caught the attention of the Bishop of Pestilence is the enormous summoning circle below his feet. The designs and runes drawn on the glowing blue circle are all completely unrecognizable to him. And the Magic feels quite different too...

Just where in the name of Ithiqua did they transported to? What did that book do to he and his siblings? Are they somehow trapped in the book? Can they even get out if that's the case? The Bishops are powerful... But what if this is the doing of The One Who Waits? Did the Lamb planted the book back at Silk Cradle? Where did they even get such a Relic? Is it even a Relic?

And the Weapons... Why do they feel so familiar to the Crowns they wore? And in the story, it did told there are four Legendary Weapon that happen to match to the weapons Kallamar and his Siblings they now hold out of nowhere. And that man... he called them Heroes despite seemingly being confused of their appearance... And the book did show the Four Bishops as the chosen Heroes...

"Kallamar! We're leaving!", Kallamar yelps at the sudden loud voice and turns to see Leshy who stood by the foot of the stairs, while Heket and Shamura are already gone up. "S-sorry! Coming!", Kallamar rushes towards where his brother is and climb up the stairs together.

So many questions and too few answers. But perhaps this King the hairless, tailless monkey speaks about can provide some insight and hopefully answers he so desperate needs...

Author Notes:Hello Readers, I hope you enjoy this little oneshot I made about the 4 Bishops of the Old Faith being isekai'd as the 4 Legendary Heroes. This is just a fun little idea I had in my head for a while, and it might not be full fledged story, though I might post a second chapter to this. I hope I written it well enough, since I haven't written on this site for a while. I feel like the pacing was a bit too quick and I feel like I written too many jabs at Leshy's lack of eyes...

Now, as for why the Bishops wield the weapons they have.

Leshy and the Legendary Bow:Not much reasoning besides the "Justice is Blind" stitch. Though Leshy being the Bishop of Chaos, it's safe to assume he controls over Order as well, since Followers pray to Heket for a bountiful harvest despite her controlling Famine. And Leshy's quite arrogant like Itsuki. Plus a "blind" character like Leshy wielding a bow could lead to some funny potential scenarious and irony.

Heket and the Legendary Shield:She values the safety and wellbeing of her family deeply, and willing to protect them at all cost as shown with her dialogue in the Game. And she's quite hot-tempered like Naofumi, and is easily angered at times, meaning she can unlock the Wrath Series. Also Heket just feels like a tank and fiited to be shield.

Kallamar and the Legendary Sword:Kallamar is definitely the hardest boss among his Siblings. And despite his cowardly and pathetic behavior, it's mostly because of Narinder and the Red Crown. If against anything else, he has the most potential to be dangerous, and if he's able to conquer his flaws, he can be quite the wielder. I mean, Kallamar is skilled in multiple weaponry as shown in his boss fight and is probably no slouch in physical strength, just his mental strength needs working.

Shamura and the Legendary Spear:Parts of Shamura's backstory and deal with with Narinder is betrayal. The betrayal of trust, turning against those you cared for and losing that trust. They deeply regret turning agaianst Narinder when they sealed him away. Shamura, like Heket, also loves and values their family, and as the eldest, they have responsibility over them as such.

I hope thse reasons make sense and is understandable.
