Sonic: The New Hedgehog
Chapter one: A new Hero
On one of Sonic's missions, he was ambushed by Dr Robotnik, resulting in being captured along with most of his friends, except one who escaped.
A Cyan Hedgehog was sitting on a wooden chair in a little tavern, when a black and red hedgehog approached him.
"Are you Helix?" The Unknown hedgehog asked
Helix then looked back
"Yeah? Who are you? What do you want?"
The unknown hedgehog then seemed relieved and put his arms on his chest
"My name is Shadow the Hedgehog. Sonic and his Friends have been captured by Dr Robotnik, and I can't save them alone. I need your help."
Helix then asked Shadow confused
"But I'm not a skilled fighter, how do you expect me to save sonic and his friends?"
Shadow, impatient, turned back to Helix
"You're more than capable to defeat Dr Robotnik, now come with me."
Helix then stood up from his wooden chair and was right in front of Shadow
"Look, I don't know who you think you are, but you're not making me come."
Shadow then looked back and told him angrily
So you want it that way. Fine.
Shadow looks back and shoots a sleep dart on him and takes him to his hideout, then ties him up in a chair
"Hey, Rogue, wake up."
Helix wakes up, tied up in a chair inside of a warehouse
"Huh? Where am I? And how do you know my last name? Nobody knows my last name!"
Shadow then responds to Helix looking back
"Oh I just looked through your phone
Shadow turns around
I guessed the password…you're weird for putting that as your password…"
Helix looks down embarrassed
"We don't talk about that"
Shadow says quickly:
"Now, enough small talk. I have a plan to defeat Dr Robotnik."
After he tells Helix the plan, Helix asks Shadow
"So you want ME, to sneak to his base and free sonic and the others ALL BY MYSELF, WHILE YOU JUST SIT HERE AND WATCH?"
Shadow then asks Helix confused
"Are you stupid or something? Or were you daydreaming about Chilli dogs? I told you that you would go to the base and while I watch from the visor I will give you and hack the cameras. Now, you will need some things to get into the base undetected"
Shadow unties and gives Helix a smoke bomb, a silenced pistol and a lockpick
"Here, that's all you need now go before I change my mind and kill you."
Helix gets up from the chair
"Okay okay, chill."
Helix arrives to the base and waits for Shadow to tell him what to do
"Alright Rogue, you see those three droids guarding the prison cells? I want you to take them out with your smoke bomb and silenced pistol and then free Sonic and the others."
Helix hiding behind a rock
"Okay just, stop calling me Rogue"
Shadow chuckles
"Sure, Rogue, now go"
Helix takes out the three robots successfully leaving Shadow impressed then Sonic asks Helix
"Hey, who are you?"
Helix positioning himself in a corner so he doesn't get spotted by the robots
"My name is Helix and I'm with Shadow, I'm here to save you…at least that's what I've been told"
Tails then speaks up
"You have to either use a lockpick, or guess the password"
Helix tries to guess the password but instead ends up hitting the lock with his fist
"AH FUCK, THAT HURTS"
The alarm goes off and Shadow speaks
"You fucking dumbass… hold on I'm coming"
Shadow then rushes to the base when Dr Robotnik goes up to Helix
"Who are you? Never seen you around, guess you can die too"
Sonic goes in front of Helix
"No Eggman, this is between you and me, leave my friends out of this"
Then, suddenly, Shadow arrives and stops Sonic
"Sonic stop, let Helix do it, I have faith in him… even though he's stupid"
Helix and Dr Robotnik start fighting, when Dr Robotnik grabs him
"Ay let go of me"
Headbutts him and Dr Robotnik falls to the ground
"that's what you get you egg"
Hits him in the balls
"OW! YOU'VE GONE TOO FAR YOU LITTLE SHIT"
Dr Robotnik calls a robot that seems quite familiar, then Sonic speaks up worried
"Hey! He called Metal Sonic! He's going to kill Helix! Shadow we need to save him!"
Shadow responds with his arms crossed on his chest
"Hmph…not now, we'll wait and see, if it goes wrong then we'll save him"
Metal Sonic fires an energy beam at Helix but he dodges it, then he rushes to metal Sonic and hits him in the head
"OH I FORGOT THAT HE'S MADE OF METAL THAT HURTS LIKE FUCKING CRAZY"
Metal Sonic then throws Helix to the ground, Shadow then starts fighting Metal Sonic, but he loses as well
"Sonic! Be careful! He's way more powerful than usual! I don't know why!"
Sonic then starts fighting Metal Sonic but he loses as well after a few minutes of fighting
"We can't beat him, he's too strong!" Sonic says, while grunting in pain
All seemed lost, but a red aura starts to surround Helix and leaves Sonic and Shadow surprised
"Is he...Chaos Boosting? Like you Shadow?"
"Yeah it seems like it, he might have a chance to win!"
Helix then successfully defeats Metal Sonic, destroying him
"How did I just do that…? Oh my god that exhausted the living fuck out of me" Helix says surprised
"I will explain it to you one day, but for now, let's go" Shadow replied to Helix
They all leave, but before Shadow leaves the base, he looks back and shoots dynamites, blowing up the base, along with Dr Robotnik, then helix grabs him
"Hey! Why did you just do that!"
Shadow throws Helix to the ground
"You'll understand one day Kid"
Shadow teleports away, leaving Helix and the others in front of the destroyed base
"I guess we leave?"
Sonic nods and they leave the base, arriving to a house where they celebrate, however Helix is confused, he's sitting in a chair alone
"Why did Shadow blow up the base? Why did he Kill Eggman? He was a bad guy yeah, but he didn't need to die… I should get over it"
For a few months everything seemed peaceful, until a new threat came, one like never before, will Helix and the others be able to defeat him? Find out in the next chapter of "Sonic: The New Hedgehog"…
