Obsidian woke up in the morning to Avalanches snores. Obsidian yawned and got up. He then went to his tail pouch and pulled out a book. He opened it and read it for a bit. When Avalanche woke up, they ate and started flying towards the Island Palace. The Island Palace was built in the middle of the jungle on the Island in the middle of the Pacifica Ocean. As they flew over the Ocean, they saw more flashes of purple and green in the water. They ignored the flashes and continued to the island. When they made it to the Island however, the Queen was already waiting for them. They both bowed and Obsidian said,'' Queen Wave…" The Queen stared at him for a second and said,"Obsidian? Is that you? Get up." Obsidian stood up and smiled. Along with being close to the Royal Family in the FireLands, he was also close to the Queen of the CoralFins. Avalanche glared at him and said,"You couldn't have mentioned that you knew the Queen?" The Queen turned and said,"Who is this charming friend of yours?"
Avalanche opened his mouth, but Obsidian cut him off,"This is Avalanche. We were sent on a Quest to seek help from the CoralFins in something?" The Queen nodded and said,"Well, we will need more information. Without the information, we can't help." The Queen thought for a moment and looked at Avalanche. She waited a moment before saying,"Queen Crystal has had a… unusual way of sending letters. Do you happen to know how to do it?" Avalanche nodded and walked over to the queen and handed her a bottle of ink. The Queen nodded and Avalanche said,"Give me the scroll after you finish writing." She nodded and grabbed a scroll from a table and began to write. Avalanche walked over to Obsidian and gave him a look. "I'm sorry I didn't tell you! I thought the relationship between the FireLands and the Pacifica Ocean was well known!" He whispered. Avalanche rolled his eyes and walked over to the Queen who was using a blue tie to close the scroll. She gave him the scroll. Avalanche closed his eyes for a moment, threw the scroll into the air, and waved his talon. As the three of them watched the scroll turn into smoke and fly towards the Tundra, a guard went up to the Queen and whispered something in her ear. She nodded and said,"Well, Obsidian come on. Let's go to My Hatchery! I wanna show you something."

Avalanche was confused and asked,"Wait, how exactly are we gonna get there. The Royal Hatchery is underwater?" The Queen laughed and whispered in Obsidian's ear,"I see you didn't tell him about the Enchanted Clams." The Queen looked back to Avalanche and grabbed something from a basket a guard brought to her. She pulled out a clam and handed it to Avalanche and Obsidian. "Eat that. You will turn into a CoralFin for a day."
Avalanche was hesitant at this and opened the clam. A little pearl sat inside of it. "The Pearls are enchanted to make the eater turn into a CoralFin." The Queen said. Avalanche took the pearl out of the shell and ate it, tossing away the useless shell. The Queen gasped and took the shell from the sand.
Avalanche was confused and looked at his talons, not feeling any different. But when he looked at Obsidian, his wings were turning into legs and talons. Fur started forming on his back. Once Obsidian's Change was over he was covered in orange fur and had purple scales. Avalanche then looked at his wings and saw them shrinking into his back. As the wings started to disappear, fur started growing on his back.
Once the transformation was over, His scales had changed to a darker shade of blue and the fur on his back was emerald-green. The Queen was clapping her claws as she gestured them over. They were all staring at the sparkling of the ocean's surface. Then, The Queen dove in. Obsidian dove in after her. Avalanche hesitated. He flashed back again. Purple scales. Red eyes. He shook it off and dove into the sapphire water.
