The geek walked into the studio room. "This it?" he wondered as he saw the tattered room.
"Indeed, Codemeister," Josh sighed as Cody sat down. "Izzy was here last. Anyway, time for your interview. Let's start out with Ezekiel."
"Well, I certainly wasn't a fan of his back in Island, but it looked like he was starting to improve just a tiny bit by the time World Tour hit. I sorta felt bad for him going feral, and his treatment in Revenge and All Stars was really uncalled for."
"Now, what about Eva? She didn't last long nor compete in another season."
"Uh, not much thought on her. She wasn't someone I focused my attention on, but I was happy she supported Gwen in the finale even after Owen offered a huge party."
"Oh, this next one should be good." Cody simply rolled his eyes at Noah's picture. "Don't bring up any of those Noco teases," he told Josh. "He has a girlfriend. We only really chatted in World Tour, when he helped me hide from Sierra a few times. He's okay, but we're not tight buddies like he is with Owen."
"So, Justin spilled a bit of juice between you two..." Josh slyly continued. Cody got a slight blush at his words. "Oh, so it is true!" Josh exclaimed.
"N-no!" Cody stammered. "We're just friends, is all! I prefer the ladies."
"Uh-huh. Well, how would you describe your 'friend' Justin?"
"He's a great guy. We didn't speak much during the show, but we bonded after the Drama Brothers were formed. We get along very well and still do to this day."
"I bet you do. Now, I don't recall you talking with Katie or Sadie, did you?"
"Apart from where they were our fanatics from the guys and I started the Drama Brothers, no. We didn't speak at all."
"What about him, now?" Cody smiled a little as Tyler's picture was passed to him. "He's a cool dude," he said. "Unfortunately, we didn't get to talk much during Island or World Tour, but he was really nice the few times we met up. We sometimes meet up now and again, but we're not, like, deep friends."
"Alright," Josh sighed. "Now, what about crazy girl Izzy?"
"She can definitely be a handful. Granted, she's not evil by any means, but it's best to stay out of her way. That's what I tried to do."
"Next up is one of the few girls who dared to kiss you. Your thoughts on Beth?"
"Hey! I take offense to that remark! But Beth and I are on pretty good terms. I admit we're not super-close, but we do talk from time to time."
"Next up is quite the controversial person. What do you think of Courtney?"
"Oh, boy. Controversial is right. I only really interacted with her in season 3, and she was kinda pleasant. At least until about Newfoundland. Then she started ordering us about, but it didn't get too severe til Greece. I mean, I understand her getting betrayed like that with Duncan felt bad, but her flirting with Tyler right after? A bit hypocritical of her. Still, I'm kinda neutral on her. Don't hate her, but don't exactly like her, either."
"Interesting. Now onto the next Drama Brother." Cody smirked at Harold's picture. "He's definitely an interesting one," he remarked. "He's definitely the most talented guy in the band, even more than Trent. I'll admit that we butted heads a lot, but really, everybody else did. I think his biggest issue is his ego, but we're still pretty good friends."
"Okay," Josh said, "Now we'll move onto the last Drama Brother and who you competed with for Gwen's affections in Island, Trent."
"Whoa, whoa, whoa. Me and Trent did not compete for Gwen. We would've never forced that choice on her. But I'll admit I felt a little bit...um...bummed at how easily he claimed her heart. But we weren't hostile against each other; just the opposite. We treated each other like brothers. I helped him with Gwen after I found out she liked him, and he helped me when I got injured from that garbage bomb or a sunburn. After he got eliminated in Action, I was there to comfort him in his grief and to keep Katie and Sadie from swarming him. We still keep in touch after our runs on the show ended."
"All sweet and bubbly, huh? What about Bridgette now? I think you tried to flirt with her on day one at camp."
"She was friendly and all, but I don't think we've really talked much during Island. I mainly stuck to guys like Trent and Owen and Gwen more. I saw how the whole Gidgette dilemma went down in Action and it wasn't pretty, so I tried not to get in the middle of it. I didn't get a chance to talk to her in World Tour since I was in first class the whole time she was on the plane. Um...nothing much else to say to her."
"Okay. Now another girl you flirted with on day one: Lindsay."
"She's a pretty sweet girl, though she unfortunately was being manipulated during her run on Island. We didn't get a chance to talk in Action, but I shared a chat during World Tour. She was getting kinda depressed at Team Victory's bad luck and I tried to give her a bit of positivity. We're still friendly, though I don't like those fan stories that ship me and her. She's got Tyler and she's simply not my type."
"Hmm, interesting. Now onto the cowardly giant DJ."
"He's not a complete coward, Josh. I mean, did you see the way he stood up to Chef? That takes real courage. Honestly, he only gets that rep from World Tour when he thought he was hurting animals from that curse in Egypt. Can't really blame the guy for being paranoid. But we're still cool buds."
"Uh-huh. Now onto the next person." Cody picked up Geoff's picture. "I'm kinda neutral on the guy," he shrugged. "Like I said before, I mainly stuck with the Gophers on Island and I didn't get in the middle of his and Bridgette's drama in Action, although he was a big jerk then. Just glad he came to his senses before he got worse. I don't know about what the Action cast thinks, but I'd rather have kissy make-outs than Chris clone and cheating scandals from those two."
"Okay," Josh continued as he pulled out the next picture. "Now onto Leshawna. You were on the same team as her."
"She was pretty cool in Island as she always stuck up for the little guys. But come Action with the whole spa day scandal, my opinion soured on her a bit. In World Tour, we honestly didn't speak much. I don't have any real bad blood with her."
"Well, this next one should be very interesting." Cody scowled at Duncan's picture. "Man, that guy is just a jerk!" he growled as he slammed the photo down onto the table. "And no, it's not because he took Gwen. Okay, maybe partially. With Trent, I wasn't too bothered by him picking up Gwen because he was a genuinely nice dude that cared for her. Duncan relentlessly bullied Harold, picked on most of the cast at least once, and him hooking up with Gwen was based on him CHEATING on Courtney!" He let out a hefty breath. "I try not to interact with him nowadays."
"Ooh, quite a vicious breakdown!" Josh exclaimed. "Now, onto our next person. You went from being sure Heather would get cut in Island to being one of her few genuine supporters in World Tour."
"Crazy how things turn out, huh? So, I originally disliked Heather a bit. Not as bad as Leshawna and Gwen did, but still wasn't a fan of her. She would've been out sooner had I not been mauled by that bear. But after Island, Heather showed a more...vulnerable side to her that I didn't know she had. We didn't talk when Action filmed and she was more game-focused by the time World Tour came along. But by then, I started to get to know her a bit better. We started talking during and after New York and she was actually pretty decent to me. At least compared to how she treated everyone else. She even offered an alliance to get rid of Sierra."
"Now, I heard rumors that she made more than just a strategic play on you..."
"What, like, romantically? No, no. She didn't. Heck, she couldn't because of how territorial Sierra was. We were just friends. I genuinely supported her in the finale, unlike the others that sided with her mainly because Al was just as bad, if not worse than her. We're still good friends to this day, and she even asks me and Sierra to come over for visits, whether to see her and Alejandro's kids or whether they had a bump in their relationship. They did have a nasty patch just before the duo got engaged."
"Oh, I'll have to remember that. Now, let's move onto the girl you did have eyes for." Cody smiled at Gwen's picture. "Ah, I still remember when I first saw her," he sighed. "I'll admit her looks were what sold me. Teenage hormones and all that. But add in a smart brain and independent streak, and she was basically the whole package! I tried nearly everything in the book to win her over, like listening to her problems and trying to grab some pop for her, but nothing worked. And it didn't help with the whole bra thing and the bikini photo. I get a lot of criticism with that online. Like I said before, Trent winning her heart didn't bother me that much as he was good to her. Sometimes to a fault, but good to her. I didn't understand her choice to date Duncan in World Tour and half of All Stars. But me and Gwen were able to stay on good terms as friends. After I tried to make a move on her after All Stars, she asked that we remain friends, and I agreed. She mentioned that moving into the romance zone with Duncan ruined the dynamic they had as friends."
"Interesting," Josh noted. "Let's move onto Owen. You two were good buds, correct?"
"We were. Aside from Trent, he was my closest guy buddy on the island. It kinda stung when he voted me for 'not being useful in challenges anymore' after getting mauled by a bear, but I think he was trying to squirm outta the bet we made days prior. Still, I liked that he won Island even with me rooting for Gwen. I felt bad regarding his financial problems in Action and his plane phobia in World Tour. We still remain good friends to this day."
"Okay. Now onto a more controversial person. What are your thoughts on Alejandro?"
"Well...it's certainly mixed. I mean, we did get along fairly well in World Tour, and he even sneaked in sweets to me and the other Amazons. But things changed after Drumheller after I knew the truth about his manipulations throughout the game. Him knocking me into shark-infested waters didn't help things, either. But we were able to patch a few things up with time and get along, though with the Aleheather problems, I mainly take Heather's side, to be honest."
"Now onto the best stuff for last. We get to...Sierra." Cody sighed before starting. "I was kinda weirded out by her at first," he admitted. "That soon turned to a bit of fear as she got into my personal space. I mean, I know I get chewed out for my actions on Gwen, but saying Sierra is a taste of my own medicine isn't a fair comparison. I mean, the whole dilemma during the Amazon Jungle is what got me to vote her out. But thanks to Chris, her seeing the voting process made her decide on her crying stunt. And yes, I did realize it was a stunt after some time. Plus, I only said that stuff to get her to quit the crying. No one likes their personal space getting invaded. At about when we were at Jamaica, I tried to get her to respect my boundaries a bit, and she actually complied a bit...up until we got to Niagara."
"Ooh, what happened there?" Josh inquired.
"The stupid marriage challenge is what happened," Cody grumbled. "It basically undone most of our progress. And her Love Tea stunt DEFINITELY was uncalled for. But we were able to make some progress again, and by the time of Drumheller, we've gotten on better terms. NOT relationship status, mind you. Just friendly terms, even to the point where I wasn't weirded out by her hugs. I especially found it touching when she remembered my birthday."
"I have heard comments and theories about that stemming from your parents being neglectful."
"No, they weren't. They were just super-busy with their jobs. My dad runs a huge company and my mom's a high school teacher. So, they hardly have free time, even on weekends. I did get to spend a bit of time with my mom more and she introduced me to music, but my dad was more annoyed at my music attempts."
"Okay... But back on topic. You covered Sierra, but just in World Tour. How did you react to her in All Stars?"
"Well, I was actually the one that got her in the season. I was assigned first, but I really didn't have a need to return. So I offered my spot to Sierra since she was cut out of a fair placement due to Chris disqualifying her. She looked a bit good, though her talks with Cameron did start to raise a few alarm bells. But she started to turn for the worse when episode 4 aired. With her being an Internet junkie, in a sense, her cell phone getting broken actually caused a huge effect on her. And while she wasn't as...extreme with Cameron as she was with me, I completely understood why he wanted distance from her. After that trainwreck of a season ended, I managed to find her again a bit worse for wear. I decided that some proper therapy would help her best. We're still on good terms, but she regularly has therapy sessions once a week."
"I honestly didn't expect that," Josh thought. "I figured you put a restraining order on her. Now, did you interact with the other two generations?"
"I'm pretty good friends with Cameron and Sam," Cody replied. "I'm also pals with Beardo, with him being a fan of our music. And I'm actually good friends with Leonard, with us having roleplaying events every now and then."
"Okay, last question: what are your thoughts on the Reboot cast?"
"They're okay, I suppose. My favorite has to be Damien. The others I'm neutral on."
"Thank you for your time, Cody. Glad you were much calmer than the last few people."
"No problem, Josh," Cody shrugged as he got up. "I liked it. See ya!" He walked out of the building. "Another one down," Josh muttered as he looked through the stack of papers. "Next one should also be fairly calm." He got a call on his cell phone. "You'll repair the studio soon? Thank goodness. Just make sure no one sees the burns." A light came down near his feet. "And double check that the lights are secure, as well."
Here's everyone's favorite geek! Or he is for most people. So, I think I covered most of the main stuff with him, like Sierra, Gwen, Trent and the other Drama Brothers, Duncan, Alejandro, Heather, etc. I can even see him being good friends with Heather.
Next comes one of the more controversial finalists from the original cast who once brought a cursed tiki statue back to camp. Until next time, this is Dunsparce519 saying enjoy and have a good day.
