Narrator: Konoha, a hidden village of Ninja's, Konoha is situated in the Land of Fire just a little southwest of the Senju River, a river that connects to the sea, it is a momentous day today, but nobody knows it, it is the day that the Prince of the Sea found out about his heritage, unfortunately though, today was going to be his last day in the village, this is the story of Naruto Uzumaki, I know what you're thinking, how can Naruto be the Prince of the Sea? Let's just say he's not the Naruto you remember, the Naruto you remember is in the prime reality, but in an infinite multiverse, this is the story of one of those alternate realities.

chapter 1

Naruto had just gotten back from his mission to retrieve his friend Sasuke Uchiha who had deserted the village in a misguided attempt to gain more power, naruto was able to make Sasuke see reason and bring him home, but due to his injuries has to spend a night or two in the hospital, fortunately due to his status as jinchuuriki he has a high healing factor.

"Naruto, you have a visitor" said a nurse poking her head in the door.

"let her in" replied naruto and a few seconds later a pink haired girl wearing a red qipao battledress entered, this is sakura Haruno.

"Naruto, are you okay?" asked Sakura.

"pretty good all things considered, a little sore though."

"thats good." said Sakura.

"sorry that i had to rough up Sasuke." said Naruto

"its okay Naruto, i actually didn't like him like that, he was a comrade and friend no more." said Sakura.

"but, then why did you act like Sasuke's fangirl back in the academy?" asked Naruto.

"that was all an act to hide my insecurities." sheepishly replied Sakura.

"oh" was all Naruto could say.

soon enough they got to talking.

meanwhile...

xxxin the council chambersxxx

"you can't do that!!!!!" screamed Tsunade senju, currently the Godaime Hokage of Konoha.

"we can and we did, naruto has two hours to leave the village or he is to be executed on the spot" said Mebuki Haruno currently the head of the civilian council, holding a order from the fire diamyo, whom, with the help of Danzo had deceived into banishing naruto.

Tsunade clasped her hands in front of her face and did some thinking.

'i have to reveal his heritage to him, but i cannot have Danzo and his cronies finding out, and ill have to send Hinata, Sakura, and Ino with him, considering their heritages as well' thought Tsunade.

"Anbu!!!! bring Naruto, Sakura, Hinata, and Ino to my office, right away!!!!" ordered Tsunade.

turning to the council Tsunade glared at them.

"i hope you're happy you just banished the only reason for me to stay in this village!!" said The fifth Hokage.

"are you saying you're leaving?" asked Hiashi Hyuga getting an inkling of her plans, as Tsunade was secretly communicating to him via hand signs.

"Yes, but I'll elaborate more later, cant exactly say in present company." replied tsunade.

the civilian council flew into an uproar, a civilian merchant rose up and yelled "Tsunade be reasonable, why would you go that far to protect that de-" which is as far as he got before his head exploded in a shower of blood and gore.

"anyone else want to insult my godson?" raged Tsunade, clenching her fist, blood dripping down as she was the one who killed the merchant.

the civilian council wisely kept their mouths shut.

"as for who leads Konoha, i could care less, this is no longer the village my grandfather created, he created this village so no one would be treated differently no matter their status, but you guys have perverted that dream beyond the point of no return, so im leaving, who the next leader of konoha is is up to you, but know this, your idiocy will be Konoha's downfall."

Naruto was just lying in bed, turning his head he asked sasuke "you alright, Sasuke?"

Sasuke is a boy one month older than Naruto, he wearing and black high colored shirt and a tan pair of shorts.

turning to naruto she replies "could be better, Naruto i am so sorry about everything i was a fool in could have seriously hurt you or even kill-"

"stop it" Naruto interrupted.

"stop blaming yourself, whats in the past is in the past, let it rest" naruto says picking up a piece of paper, wadded it up and threw it at Sasuke.

"ow!!?!? what the hell was that for?!?!" yelled Sasuke, rubbing his head.

"it doesn't matter, it's in the past" replied Naruto.

(AN: i dont own lion king, which is owned by Disney)

Naruto and Sasuke's conversation was interrupted when an anbu shunshined into the room, this is anbu Neko, one of narutos old gaurds when he was younger.

"Naruto, you have been summoned to the hokage's office, i talked with the nurses, you are fully healed, and is ready to check out, we must head ther immediately this is non-negotiable" said Neko, grabbing Naruto and satsuki and disappearing in a swirl of leaves.

after a short trip after the initial shunshin, the duo arrive in the Hokage's office.

right after them entered Ino Yamanaka, Sakura Haruno and Hinata Hyuga.

"granny Tsunade whats going on? am i going on a new mission?" asked Naruto

"I'm afraid not, you see, due to the idiots on the civilian council, in their infinite idiotic wisdom has decided to banish you from Konoha, i tried to argue against this, but they had deceived the fire daimyo into banishing you, im sorry naruto." cried Tsunade.

"whaaat!!!!!" exclaimed everyone.

"So after all I've done to try to gain their recognition, this is what i get?!?!? this is so unfair, where will i go???!?" cried Naruto, Hinata throwing herself into her arms despite her shyness as she new naruto needed her right now.

"Naruto, Hinata, Sakura, and Ino, there is something you must know...you four aren't exactly fully human...before you ask...no you guys arent demons, you four have a greater Heritage, i know it might sound absurd, but you guys are actually mermaids, well in Naruto's case a merman." said Tsunade.

"good one Tsunade, now what exactly are we?" said sakura, not believing the hokage.

Tsunade looked at her with a straight face and said "i was not joking."

"i was told mermaids didn't exist." replied Hinata, wide eyed at the revelation.

"tell me did anyone warn you against touching water?" asked Tsunade.

"yes, but i never understood why?" replied everyone except Naruto.

"I was never told but my shower never worked and anytime i tried to touch water an anbu would come wisk me away, i always wondered why." replied Naruto.

"you're about to find out why, anbu dump water on them, i am hereby revoking the ban on these four touching water." said Tsunade,

five anbu appeared with buckets of water.

"wait!! Neko get Hiashi Hyuga, Inoichi Yamanaka and Kizashi Haruno here, do not let Mebuki Haruno come."

Neko appeared, bowed and left again in a shunshin, 20 minutes later appeared with said individuals.

Sakura raised her hand and asked "why didn't you want my mom to come?"

Kizashi spoke up and said "that banshee is not your mother!!!! she's your step mother, and when i heard that she voted for Naruto to be banished, I immediately filed for divorce." Kizashi then clenched his eyes, tearing up as he really did love Mebuki, but this transgression could not be overlooked, Sakura, seeing this, got up and hugged her father.

Sakura's eyes hardened and she "well then, i dont want to have anything to do with her."

"well anyway as i have revoked the ban on these four individuals from touching water, anbu drench them." ordered Tsunade.

The anbu holding the buckets of water walk up and one by one, dump the contents of the buckets drenching the group.

Soon a magical glow started swirling around their head quickly making its way to their feet, when it is over, they look down and exclaim in surprise, for instead of feet they had fish tails, each a different color.

Hinata's tail was purple, Sakura's was pink, Ino's was golden yellow, however Naruto, he was the biggest change, his hair had changed from blond to red and his tail was sea green (Ariel's fish tail).

"how is this possible?" exclaimed Naruto.

"it's possible due to who your mother's are, your father's were known to be human, you get this from your mother." replied Tsunade.

"our mother's? Dad said she died when i was really young." said Sakura.

"That's not exactly true, you see Sakura your mother is actually still alive and well, but we had to tell the story that she died to protect her, and you." replied Kizashi

"the same reason goes for Naruto, your mother Hinata is unfortunately dead, her death was tragic and it broke the hearts of many as she was well loved by all, her death was caused by your clan elders, im sending you with Naruto and the others" replied.

"so who were my parents, Granny Tsunade?"

asked Naruto admiring his newfound fish tail.

"Naruto, your father was Minato Namikaze, the Fourth Hokage, and your mother and Sakura's Aunt, was Ariel, Princess of Atlantica, daughter of King Triton and the youngest daughter of Queen Athena."

everyone goes wide-eyed at that information.

"now Ariel has six older sisters they are in order of age; Attina, Alana, Adella, Aquata, Arista, and Andrina, and Andrina, Adella was your mother, Sakura, although you get most of your looks from your father." Tsunade told everyone.

"Ino, your mother was Arista, the third youngest of Ariel's sisters, so therefore you and Sakura are Naruto's Cousin." said Tsunade.

Ino's eyes widened, she looked at her father for confirmation, and was shocked when he nodded his head in confirmation.

"no wonder he felt familiar." said Ino.

"you said it, cousin" said Sakura, shocked that Naruto and ino are her cousins.

"Hinata, your mother was from Pacifica, i do not know their name as she had adopted the alias she went under when she was a member of your clan, and she never really told anyone what her real name was."

"so what do we d-" Naruto was interrupted when a magical glow surrounded them and they reverted back to their human form, strange thing was, his hair never reverted back to blonde, it stayed red.

"hmmm, the transformation must only last as long as you are wet, the moment you dry off, you regain your legs, it looks like the red hair is permanent, Naruto, fitting since both Queen Athena and princess Ariel both had that hair color, this bodes well for the plan ive cooked up."

" what do you mean, Hokage-sama?" asked Satsuki.

"the six of us are moving to place no one can go to unless they're pure of heart, if there is a single shred of impurity the barrier will kill you instantly." said tsunade.

"where is this place?" asked Ino.

"Dolphin city, its an island city, but its the perfect place to live, and the cool thing js no-evil can escape the barrier, the barrier canot be tampered with, you die instantly if you try, even if Madara uses a jutsu to take control of the entirety of the Elemental Nations, the effects of such a jutsu will be contained to the Elemental Nations, even if he were to use the moon, as the barrier not only prevents evil escaping, but it also separated the Elemental nations from the dimensional plane that the rest of the planet exists in, we even have our own moon."

(AN: in this story, the moon that was created by Hagoromo and Hamura, is not the same moon that orbits the earth.)

Everyone just looks at her wide eyed.

"so when do we leave?" asked Naruto, saddened by the turn of events, but excited to finally be able to meet his mother.

"we have to leave today, we have packed your stuff already, say your goodbyes to your family members, and meet me by the Ga-" Tsunade is interrupted by a knock on the window, opening the window, a white haired man wearing a outfit similar to that of a kebuki actor with a red haori and a customized forehead protector that has the kanji for oil, steps into the building, this is Jiraiya.

"is it true that Naruto has been banished?" asked Jiraiya.

"unfortunately, yes" replied Tsunade.

"those stupid council members, i guess im going with you then."said Jiraiya.

"okay everyone meet me at the gate." ordered Tsunade.

"Hai!!!!" everyone said.

soon enough the Hokage's office was filled with leaves as everyone shunshined to the gate.

(AN:in this story everyone learned how to shunshin in the academy, i mean come on, it is a D rank jutsu for crying out loud.)

well this looks like a good place to stop, I know its kinda long, but I needed to set up the premise of the story, its a direction that not too many people go in, so i hope you find it interesting.
