Break time!
"Say Aaahh~" Chiaki held a pocky stick in front of Hajime who did as she asked, taking a bite and happily munching the stick as flowers filled their heads. "Now it's your turn!"
"Say Aaahh~" Hajime held a pocky stick above her out of reach, using his height as an advantage. Chiaki pouted and called him out, but she still jumped and managed to bring it down with her teeth.
Hajime clapped in applause at her accomplishment while she posed with a double peace sign and a bright smile. Both of them felt lightheaded as they continued to act like was a scene that seemed to belong in a colorful picture book.

Ultimate Hope's Ultimate Idea
"Say, Izuru? Would you still love me if I were a bat from Minecraft?"
"..."
"..."
"...so?"
"...oh, you were serious."
Chiaki pouted "of course I'm serious. I've never been more serious in my life, so you better take this seriously!"
He looked at her face and indeed, it was her Very Serious face. He sighed, "fine, then." He put one leg over another and commenced his analysis.
"As far as I know from the time we played, the bat contains no real value to the player. It doesn't attack, doesn't drop loot, or even EXP when killed, all traits that shouldn't concern you particularly. Instead, their value lies in the ambience they provide in caves, increasing the vibes of isolation and providing noise in a dark cave, which it does quite effectively."
He flicked his finger in front of his face as he laid his options.
"Going through the methods of capture, using a leash would be the quickest and most effective way to keep you with me, and a name tag is needed so you wouldn't despawn. But neither of those ensure that you'd truly stay with me."
He looked to the side, as he admitted to himself that this discussion put his super-mind to pass the time.
"While other peaceful mobs are able to be lured and tamed with an item or two, nothing exists for the bat, therefore rendering it impossible to tame would-be-you, a bat in the proper sense. "
He closed his eyes so he wouldn't see Chiak's disappointed face. He knows that's not what she wanted, and he didn't want to see her curved frown that followed her nice smile.
"And so, to answer your question in the most honest way possible..."
"Hm… Go ahead." As he expected from her tone of voice, Chiaki stared down into her Switch, almost losing her interest in the conversation.
"...I would modify the game code and add an item that could tame you properly."
He pointed a strong finger at her, catching her off guard
"Ah-!"
She stared into his deep, crimson eyes finding no hint of mockery or sarcasm. And he kept going.
"In fact, I could go further." He starts to raise a finger with each idea, "I could add a custom texture to resemble you, special lines and sound effects to your liking, an attack so you could assist me along invincibility to ensure your safety, all of which contained within a custom name tag."
It seems Izuru has gotten into the technical sides, as he set his hand on his chin, losing himself deeper into his mind.
"And even further, I could develop an advanced, true to life artificial int…" he blinked. "Why are you crying?"
For a reason unknown to him, Tears started overflowing from Chiaki's eyes while her cheeks bloomed, with hiccups from her breaking voice as she tried to speak.. "Iz…Izuu…"
"IJURUUU!" And suddenly, she jumped straight into his chest, making him step back wrapping him tightly with her arms. Izuru's eyes and mouth opened a few inches, as she looked with her own wobbly eyes "AYE LOBE U SHO MUUUSH!"
Chiaki continued to cry into him while she held her back. His eyes softened and he hummed while his mouth curved slightly upwards. Slowly, he raised an arm to gently feel her soft, pink head. "Perhaps participating in these discussions is not a waste of time after all.
As time went on and Chiaki seemed to calm down, Izuru had something to clarify to the girl that was still in his arms.
"Don't worry, I won't do anything drastic. One real Chiaki is enough for me."
