Three months prior, one Senju Naruto was working at his desk at his family's home, letting out a sigh of frustration. The village had finally allowed him to apply to make his family a clan. 'What kind of rule was having and maintaining a branch family anyway.' He thought about it looking the paperwork over, glad that Tayuya and Karin agreed to it, effectively making them his adoptive sisters. He remembered that both felt indebted to him from the time he was a Genin and they even volunteered for other things that he wasn't comfortable asking from them, he wanted them to live their own lives after wasting their teens on him. He even regretted having to ask Karin to become the Jinchūriki for the Sanbi, Isobu, in the place of his daughter after the former Mizukage, Mei, asked that she also had someone of Uzumaki blood as a Jinchūriki.
Naruto did not want to focus on the past much, finding that the future was even more important, with everything considered. He took a break from the mountain of paperwork that was involved with starting a new clan before hearing a crashing sound coming from the first floor followed soon after by a child crying. "Izu..." The man vocalized getting up from his chair and quickly exiting the room. It did not take long for the twenty-five-year-old to clear the stairs and move to the kitchen where he found his wife Uchiha Satsuki consoling their daughter both covered in flour with a near-empty bowl sitting next to them on the floor. "Are you both alright?" He asked the two, clearly confused at the mess.
Satsuki looked up to him with a gentle smile and a small sigh at Naruto's worry. "Oh... Don't worry, just a little mess. Isn't that right my little moon?" Satsuki said, gaining their daughter's attention.
The little girl she was comforting looked at her once before looking at Naruto again, her sobs growing louder. "I'm sorry Mama, I messed up Papa's surprise."
The older woman continued to dust the flour from her daughter's head before shrugging at her husband, cupping her daughter's cheeks, and getting Izumi to look at her. "You did nothing wrong, sweetie. Look at your papa, you haven't ruined the surprise. Accidents happen." Satsuki looked up at Naruto's confused face at the entrance before she picked up Izumi, and moved to exit the room. "Now let's clean up and finish what we started, yeah?" Satsuki then got Naruto's attention before speaking. "Can you make yourself scarce for a few hours? And don't worry about the mess, I'll clean it up."
"Should I be worried?" Naruto replied.
"Not at all, just come back with an empty stomach."
'I should be worried.' Naruto thought, remembering that his wife's cooking skills were not that great to begin with. He thought it over again remembering in their teens that Satsuki saw it as a sore spot for her, that she wanted to have a similar skill level to his, but that never materialized. Her pregnancy was unplanned and before they knew it Izumi was on the way. Naruto laughed internally looking back at the devastated face of eighteen-year-old Satsuki, she was not ready for their first child to begin with, but the fact Izumi's first home-cooked meal was going to be Naruto's and as things stood Satsuki wouldn't be able to replicate her mother's cooking, especially her favorites for their child devastated her, she almost murdered him there and then. "Alright, I think I can go out on a walk for a bit." He said as he saw that same dangerous glint in her eye from that time.
Izumi let out a grunt in affirmation as the pair passed Naruto, before they could leave the room Izumi grabbed at the shirt of her father getting his attention. "Have a good day."
Her father smiled at this and put a hand on the girl's head. "I plan on it, you be a good girl for your mama."

Leaving the two-story house came with a surprise of its own as Naruto came face to face with his and Satsuki's long-time friend Tenten. She was about to knock on their door before Naruto opened it. She reacted accordingly to the man with an equal amount of surprise, Naruto looking her up and down before speaking. "Oh... Hello, Ten-chan."
Tenten was taken aback by the greeting and it took her some time processing before she responded, presenting three white Lilies to Naruto. "I know that Satsuki has dibs but... Would you be my Valentine again this year?" Tenten said, holding out the flowers toward him.
Not giving a second thought to the leading question, Naruto accepted the flowers. He watched as she played with her hair in a loose bun chuckling nervously. "A bust this year too? Do you want me to talk with him about this, Ten?" His voice was filled with concern as Tenten might have been rejected by the person that she had liked for a long time now.
"Nah, I didn't even try this year. All that idiot cares about is training... Besides, my favorite customer solving my problems is really embarrassing." Tenten answered, her face twisting from the smile she had on as she spoke. Naruto watched as she bawled her short-sleeved white cheongsam with a sakura print. "It's fine."
Naruto understood what she was feeling somewhat being on both sides of this situation before. He closes the distance between them, taking Tenten in an embrace. "Hey, I am free for a couple of hours. Do you want to hang out with me?" He did not get a verbal response, taking her snuggling into his chest as confirmation.

Several hours had passed after Naruto had left and he had returned as the sun began to wane creating a beautiful sunset in the evening sky. He was at the entrance of their home taking off his footwear with one hand as he had a large paper bag in the other when Satsuki and Izumi came into the frame. "Happy Valentine's!" He heard the voice of Izumi as he looked up from what he was doing. He smiled at a singular cupcake on a plate surrounded by several heart-shaped cookies.
"How about it dope, you wanna be our Valentine?" Satsuki continued kneeling so she was level with their daughter squishing their faces together, making them look adorable. With Izumi's long black hair and eyes matching her mother the two of them made quite the pair. "Well?" Satsuki asked again after a long bout of silence.
Naruto was knocked out of his thoughts, enjoying the view only to finally answer her. "Is that even a question? Sacchan." A grin crossed his face. "Of course, I will be…"
Izumi was the first to react, closing in on her father wrapping his neck, and surprising him with her speed. "I love you, Papa," she said, rubbing her cheek on his.
Naruto almost dropped his bag and lost his balance when she had embraced him but he was able to act on his reflexes honed over the years. Satsuki coming to his side noticed the paper bag and asked him about it. "What's with the bag, Naruto?"
Putting his daughter down he presented the bag to them. "That's right, I nearly forgot." He dug into the bag pulling out two of the three Lilies, dropping to one knee he put one behind Izumi's ear who looked at him in wonder, and without missing a beat he presented the other one to Satsuki. Her reaction was the total opposite of her daughter, raising an eyebrow as she took the flower in her free hand. "A gift from Ten-chan."
"Woah a gift from Aunt Tenten?" Izumi asked while taking the flower from behind her ear to examine it.
"Yep, I saw her when I was out." Naruto replied. "You should thank her the next time you see her… alright."
"Yeah." Izumi responded with a smile.
Naruto got up with Satsuki asking about why the bag was so large if that was all that was in the bag. "So were they the only things in there or are you hiding more from us?" Satsuki asked deadpan in an obvious teasing manner.
Naruto grinned, pulling Satsuki in by holding her by the waist, forcing her to look up at him. At first, she hated when he got all flirty with her like this but after thirteen years and with these moments coming less often as they are now barely together in comparison to when they were under Orochimaru, she did not mind it was much. "That, normally you would have to wait for White Day but since you are not going to be here then… I guess a couple of hours won't hurt… Much." He finished.
Satsuki scoffed at that, she knew that he was waiting for Izumi to go to bed before he would give her a gift. "And why is that? Waiting for hours when it's right in front of me." She spoke, staring into his eyes.
"I'm a romantic?" Naruto spoke doing the same.
His wife laughed, slipping out of Naruto's grip, Satsuki knew exactly how their relationship operated. It might have been her fault at first as Naruto showed no interest in that type of thing, but if he was as much of a romantic as he said then Izumi wouldn't be here or at least she would have been much younger than she is now. "That's funny… Izumi?" She turned to her daughter. "Why don't we serve Papa his dinner?"
"Yes." Izumi said excitedly, putting her flower back behind her ear, being the first to leave the foyer of their house.
"Well, you coming?" Satsuki asked Naruto as she followed after Izumi. Satsuki made sure that her daughter was out of sight before flashing him her ass and see-through black lingerie from underneath her apron and orange mini-skirt, his favorite color. She smiled and gave Naruto a seductive wink when he did not give her an answer, taking his sweets with him.
