Chapter 1

It was a cold and rainy night in Royal Woods. There was a 5-year-old girl named Libby in the orphanage waiting for someone to adopt her every day, and every night many cars pass by the orphanage, and she sighs as she sees families having a great time with each other. She was wearing a blue crop top.

Later, when everyone was asleep, Libby sneaked out the window and left the orphanage.

The next morning, Lincoln and Lucy were at the park when they saw Libby on a bench.

Lincoln said to Lucy, "Who's that on the bench?"

Lucy said, "I'm not sure, but maybe she is looking for someone to adopt her."

The siblings approached Libby, who ran away.

"Wait, we won't hurt you." Lincoln said that Libby had already left.

Libby fears the two as she hides underneath the park bench.

Lincoln reached for her as she came out.

"Hi, I'm Libby," Libby said.

"I'm Lincoln, and this is my sister Lucy." Lincoln said this while Lucy waved her hand.

Libby said, "Nice to meet you both. I have no family or friends to take care of me. You see, I was watching the cars pass by left and right for weeks at the orphanage; every family that wanted a child skipped me."

Lincoln and Lucy were shocked by this.

"Wanna come with us?" Lincoln asked.

Libby said nervously, "Sure. But where can we go?"

"In our house, I think you'll like it." Lucy said.

Libby felt like she had found a new family.

Libby sees, after arriving at the Louds, a backyard, swings, and Vanzilla. She was nervous about meeting the rest of the family.

"Don't worry, you'll fit right in." Lincoln said.

Libby said, "I hope your mom and dad are ok with this."

"They will be especially so with our older sister Lori, who is in college right now." Lucy said.

Libby was nervous about meeting everyone as soon as their parents saw the kid.

"Lincoln Lucy, who's your friend?" Rita asks.

Libby was very scared of meeting their mom.

"This is Libby; we found her alone at the park." Lucy said.

Libby fears their mom will make her go back to the orphanage.

"Don't make me go back!" Libby spoke in fear.

Libby was scared about what their mom would do to her.

Rita saw something in Libby.

"Sweetie, is something wrong?" Rita asked.

Libby said nervously, "I was scared you might send me back to the orphanage or hurt me. You see, at the orphanage, I was skipped over by families that wanted a child for weeks. No one cared to give me a chance."

Rita was shocked at this.

"You're more than welcome to stay here as long as you want, Libby." Rita said.

Libby said, "Thanks Mom. "Are there any rules I must follow here?"

"I'll explain later." Rita said.

Libby was looking around her new home. She didn't know which room was hers.

"You can have my old room; me and Lucy became roommates after Lynn became Leni's new roommate." Lincoln said.

Libby said, "Nice. Thanks Lincoln."

Libby didn't have any change of clothes or anything, as she was stuck wearing a blue crop top.

"Tomorrow I should get some new clothes." Libby said to herself

Libby was in Lincoln's old room, waiting for something to do.

"This is boring." Libby said.
