Chapter 8 Libby's celebration
The Louds came home to celebrate Libby.
"You were great!" Leni says.
"Thank you." Libby says.
"This calls for a celebration!" Lynn Sr says.
"Yeah, for sure." Rita says.
"We gotta get a cake." Lynn Sr says.
"I'm literally on it." Lori says.
A portal opened as a silhouette looked around.
"This is what I get for making bad deals. Anyway, introducing the one and only Insanity! Applause, everyone!" Insanity says "Why am I here? Well, I'm here to change the history of the Broadway universe forever. Wait, wrong dimension!" He screamed.
Meanwhile, Lori was driving to get a cake. She parked and ran inside. She saw there were plenty of cakes to choose from.
"What was her favorite again?" Lori asked herself. She chose a triple chocolate cake.
She was soon coming home.
Meanwhile, the others were eating Libby's favorite food.
"I hope Lori is okay." Leni says.
Lori soon came with the cake as everyone cheered.
Libby smiled. The cake said "Congratulations on winning America's Next Hitmaker!"
"I can't believe she beat Luke Huntington…" Leni says.
"Who?" Lisa asked.
"He wasn't even there this season." Lola says. "He was competing in a pageant instead of the show."
"How do you know that?" Luna asked.
"I keep up with the pageant news. He had no intention of entering America's Next Hitmaker this season as it would interfere with his pageant training." Lola says.
"Oh, that's right…Mr. Tween Royal Woods was going on around the same time as the show." Luna says. "I forgot all about that."
"Did he end up winning?" Luan asked Lola.
"Well, of course!" Lola says.
"Seems like this Luke won something as well." Libby smiled. "Guess that makes two winners today!"
"He's my hero." Lola says.
"He sounds amazing, the way you describe him." Libby says.
"Okay, Libby, have some cake, it's getting late." Lori says.
Libby happily eats some cake as the others quickly follow suit.
The little celebration wrapped up a bit later as the kids were getting ready for bed.
Libby was going to wash the dishes, but Lynn stopped her.
"Okay, look, we know you want to fit in, but you seriously need to chill. It's okay to be lazy and goof off once in a while." Lynn says.
"Um, okay." Libby says.
"LJ, you and Lucy go and do the dishes. Libby, you should go and get ready for bed. It's getting late." Lynn Sr says.
Lynn and Lucy go off to do the dishes like they were asked.
Libby brushes her teeth and then gets ready for bed. She then heads to her room.
The next day, Libby woke up and yawned. She sees Lucy outside. It was 4 in the morning as she was burying Fangs.
Libby came outside. Seeing Lucy cry was rare.
"Why?!" Lucy sobbed.
Libby holds her, feeling sorry for her.
"First, grandma Harriet, now this…" she sniffed.
