Well hello! Here is a new chapter of Azure Redi-fanfiction. I took some inspiration for this from the Zodiac PI-manga, which I do not own the rights to. There is a mention of Shizuka's grandmother here, who is an oc character. I start planning the next chapter. See you in the next chapter.
"The trip to Yokohama was something I didn't expect", Shizuka said as she was on her way to Yokohama with Agasa Hakanen and her friends.
"It was your mother's suggestion. As I recall, your family has a villa in Yokohama?" Agasa asked.
"It's been a long time since I last went there. Has my little sister been there with my parents? Mom said in her letter that she went there to clean earlier this week, so we can use that villa. They say there's a surprise for me there that will help me work as Azure Red", Shizuka said sitting up like others on a train seat.
"Irene-chan, what are we going to Yokohama for?" Ayumi asked after coming out of the bathroom, and then sat in the seat to Shizuka's left, and looked at Genta, who was sitting in the seats on the left side of the train aisle, and Mitsuhiko, who were playing cards.
Agasa sat on the train seat to Shizuka's right, and looked out the window, and the snow falling outside.
"Kudō Shizuka, whom I befriended the day she found a new riddle to investigate, called me yesterday and asked me to visit her family's villa in Yokohama this morning. The balcony of that villa offers a beautiful starry sky at night. Shizuka-san asked me to visit her home yesterday, and to get the key to that villa from there. From what I've heard, there are barbecue supplies there, and there's an outdoor grill on the villa's veranda that we can use when we're at Shizuka-san's family's villa", Shizuka said, holding a grocery bag in her lap.
"I see. That's why we went to the store to buy food before we went to the train station", Ayumi said looking at the shopping bag Shizuka was holding in her lap.
"Yes. I can grill after Irene-kun shows you your room", Agasa said. "Shizuka-kun reportedly told Irene-kun the locations of the villa's guest rooms that we can use while at that villa".
"I see. I brought the camera so we could take pictures during the excursion", Ayumi said.
"The good thing about this trip is that you don't have to watch Kogorō drink alcohol and listen to the ensuing argument between Ran, and Kogorō", Shizuka thought, content to have some alone time that didn't involve listening to Ran, and Kogorō argue about it , how yesterday Kogorō had only gone to the bathroom to shave off his beard, but as a result had seen Ran in the shower, causing Ran to be angry with her father, and about which she had been arguing with her father since yesterday.

"A trip to my family's villa in Yokohama?" Shizuka muttered turning off her phone while sitting on the sofa in the living room of Agasa's home.
Shizuka was wearing a blue sweater, black pants, white socks, and blue slippers.
Shizuka had just talked on the phone with her mother, and Yukiko had just suggested her daughter visit Yokohama, and the day before had sent Agasa 5 train tickets in a letter so that Shizuka could go with Agasa, Genta, Ayumi, and Mitsuhiko by train to the villa in Yokohama, owned by the Kudō family.
"You haven't been to that villa for a long time. Your mother said in the letter that she went there yesterday, and that she turned on the heating of the villa after cleaning that villa yesterday", Agasa said.
"What are you talking about?" Ran asked after coming down from upstairs. He had only heard Shizuka and Agasa talking about the villa.
"Shizuka-san called me just now, and said that she talked to her parents recently about something. Shizuka's parents would like me to go with my uncle, Genta, Ayumi, and Mitsuhiko to Shizuka-san's family's Yokohama villa tomorrow", Shizuka said. "Just in case there are no burglars, and Shizuka-san's parents have a surprise for their daughter, which is at their family's villa. Shizuka-san asked me to pick up that surprise for Shizuka-san".
"I remember that villa. It looks a bit like Sonoko's family's mountain villa", Ran said after remembering that villa. "There are good opportunities to look at the stars, so you will definitely have a good time there".
"Alright. They say there are grilling facilities, so I'll buy some food suitable for grilling. Shizuka-san gave us permission to use the grill at their family's villa", Shizuka said.

The train finally stopped at Yokoma train station, and the passengers took their bags and walked out of the train.
After walking for a while, Shizuka and her friends stopped in front of a mountain villa.
The villa had 2 floors, black roof tiles, gray exterior walls, and the exterior doors were brown double doors, and some of the rooms had balconies outside. There were 2 gray steps in front of the front door.
Shizuka tookkey from his pocket, and opened the front door of the villa and went inside with the others after taking the key out of the lock of the front door:
"It's been 6 years since I last visited here with my parents, so it seems a bit surprising to be here now looking like my mother".
Shizuka looked around, and saw a light switch on the wall to the right of the hall, so she pressed it, turning on the ceiling lights.
The interior walls were white like the ceiling, and the floor was brown. On the right side of the hall was a gray umbrella stand with a brown chest of drawers behind it. There were ceiling lamps on the ceiling, and there were dark blue curtains in front of the windows.
Agasa closed the villa door, and looked at Shizuka:
"As I recall Shizuka-kun said the guest rooms are on the second floor of this villa".
"Just yes", Shizuka said, then walked forward with the others.
Finally they arrived at a living room with brown armchairs and a black leather couch, and a large flat screen TV on the wall to the left of the lobby. There was a large, red-brown carpet on the floor of the hall.
Shizuka walked with the others to the right side of the living room where there were stairs leading upstairs and other corridors.
"Where's the veranda?" Mitsuhiko asked.
"From what I heard it's in the backyard of the villa, but let's take the bags to the guest rooms upstairs", Shizuka said, walking up the stairs upstairs. "You can choose the rooms freely".
The hallway upstairs in the villa looked the same as the hallway downstairs in the villa, but upstairs in the villa there were many brown doors to the guest rooms.
Shizuka walked with her friends towards the doors of the second floor of the villa, and went to the guest rooms to unpack their bags.
"This is annoying too. Because of the poison that was fed to me, I can't use my own room in this villa, so as not to raise too much suspicion even in the eyes of my new friends", Shizuka thought, sitting on the bed in the guest room, and took the letter written by her mother from her pocket.
"Shizu-chan, you must be wondering why we want you to visit our family's villa in Yokohama. It could be relaxing for you, and there is an object that belonged to your grandmother, Fujimine Kaoroku, which you looked at very curiously as a child. The story your grandmother told about that object really interested you. a lot, so now I want to give that item to you. Because that item could help you in your Azure Redi-mission. Remember to enjoy the villa trip, and relax at the same time, greetings Yukiko", Shizuka read the letter.
"Or an object belonging to my grandmother? What could that object be?" Shizuka thought, putting the letter in her pocket, and then unpacked the things in the chest of drawers in the room, and then went to the living room downstairs, where Agasa had already set tea, and sandwiches on the living room table. Shizuka gave the grocery bag to Agasa who took it to the kitchen and put the items in the fridge.
Shizuka sat down on the sofa in the living room, and drank some tea, then put the teacup back on the table:
"Akase Hakase, I hope the starry sky is clear today".
"I'm sure of it", Agase said.
(Later)
"What could that surprise be?" Shizuka thought as she walked down the hall of the villa and then opened the door to her mother's secret room and went inside turning on the ceiling lights there and saw a deck of tarot cards on the dressing table and a small box which she opened to see inside a ring with a circle of horoscopes in one spot signs, and put the ring on her right index finger, as a result, the ring started to glow a little, and its golden red color changed to blue silver, and then Shizuka picked up the paper in the box, and opened it, when the ring stopped glowing:
"Shizu-chan, it's great that you found this ring. It was the surprise I promised you, and now the time has come to give it to you. It has passed down the generations in our family like your necklace, and one of your ancestors was an astrologer. That ring is the Sutāringu(Star Ring), with which you can summon the star spirits of the zodiac signs to give you some clues to solve the cases. Those clues may be a little vague, but I think you'll be fine with the star spirits of the zodiac signs. Like you, I used this ring when I worked as Azure Redi a while ago, like you, my regards, mother".
"Oh really. My grandmother Kaoroku used to wear this ring", Shizuka looked at Sutāringu with a smile. "How does this ring work? As I recall, my grandmother showed it to me at some point".
"Come look at the stars, Shizuka-kun", Agasa said entering Shizuka's mother's secret room.
"Alright", Shizuka said, putting the newly found letter into her pocket like tarot cards. He then turned off the ceiling lights in the room, and left with Agasa, closing the door to Yukiko's secret room.
Shizuka went to the veranda with Agase to look at the starry sky while the others were already there.
"Really beautiful", Ayumi said taking pictures with her camera.
"Yes. Shizuka-san was right to praise the scenery here", Shizuka said with a small smile.
Surprisingly Shizuka, and the others saw a man covered in wounds walking out of the woods to the back door of the villa. He looked like he was in his 40-year old. His skin was tanned. He had black eyes, black hair, and was wearing winter clothes. The man was tall and athletic. When the man saw the people on the veranda, he spoke:
"Help!"
Then the man fell on the steps in front of the back door of the villa.
"Let's bring him inside, so he doesn't freeze!" Shizuka yelled, and with the others, carried the man inside, taking him to one of the guest rooms:
"Mitsuhiko, Shizuka-san told me that the first aid kit is in the cupboard above the fridge in the kitchen!"
"I'll get it right now!" Mitsuhiko ran into the kitchen.
Shizuka looked at the man who seemed to be about to pass out, and saw strangulation marks on the man's neck:
"What happened?"
"He's following me…" The man said before passing out on the bed below.
Mitsuhiko brought the first aid kit, and with the others began to bind the man's wounds.
Finally, a bandage was tied around the man's forehead, and his other wounds were also bandaged, but there was blood on the lining of his mouth.
"Very strange. There is no wound on his mouth, but there is still a little blood on his mouth. Could he have bitten someone else and got blood on his face, because his mouth has bite marks like teeth?" Shizuka thought about that, when she saw the bite marks on the man's mouth.
"Lock all the doors in the villa, and the windows, so no one knows he's here. A snowstorm is coming, so hardly anyone will follow him now. I'll check if he has any IDs", Shizuka said, putting the man's coat on a hanger, and that hanger on a coat rack, and then searched the coat pockets to find a wallet, into which he looked:
"Seto Seiji. Apparently he was born on the second day of October, and his horoscope is Virgo".
"Do you know horoscopes?" Mitsuhiko asked.
"Somehow", Shizuka continued to search the pockets of the man's coat, and found another wallet there, which she examined.
"I'll call Shizuka-san to ask about it, as her grandmother was an astrologer", Shizuka said as she went into her makeshift room, and drew the curtains in front of the window:
"Now I believe I remember, how this ring works. O Virgin Demeter, Star Spirit of Seto Seiji, who rests within Sutāringus! Answer your mistress! I summon you!"
A small woman appeared from Shizuka's ring with long purple hair, fair skin, violet eyes. He wore a purple and white robe, brown shoes, and had a forehead ornament with a yellow star on his forehead. He had bracelets on his hands and was holding a light blue crystal ball that was almost the size of his head.
"You've grown since we last saw you, Shizuka-sama", Demeter said.
"Yes, Demeter. Please help me. Seto Seiji, born on the 2nd of your zodiac sign, was attacked sometime today, or maybe yesterday. He is now in the guest room of our villa resting after escaping from an attacker who may be following him. Tell me his horoscope for today", Shizuka said.
"It's been a while since I predicted. Guided by the birth stars, and the movements of the sky, the servant of the bearer of Sutāringus, Demeter predicts Seto Seiji's fate today. It's best to avoid going out. Otherwise, you might run into someone's dark side. To reveal the hidden truth of the day", An image appeared on the crystal ball in Demeter's hands from a belt with blood stains.
"I think I know what was used to try to strangle the victim. Thank you, Demeter", Shizuka said.
"Shizuka-sama, be careful", Demeter said.
"Sure. Detectives sometimes have to think of the common good to protect others", Shizuka said.
Demeter disappeared, and Shizuka returned to the room where the others were:
"The perpetrator might break down here, so let's set a trap for him".
(At night)
A man dressed in winter clothes opened the door of the room where Seiji was sleeping and approached Seiji who was sleeping on the bed, holding a knife in his hand.
"Alright then. Stand there. We figured the perpetrator would follow the escaped Seiji-san, so we set a trap for the perpetrator", Shizuka said, lighting the room with a flashlight while Megure and Sato handcuffed the perpetrator.
The perpetrator was a 38-year-old man. He had a patch on his left cheek and was wearing winter clothes with a belt on his hip that had blood stains on it. The man was tall and athletic. His skin was tanned, and his eyes were as black as his hair. There was a wound on his left palm with a bandage wrapped around it.
"I don't know how Seiji-san ran away from you, but you probably tried to strangle him with your belt, but he may have bit your left arm in self-defense, causing you to drop your belt and Seiji-san ran away from you", Shizuka said. "Isn't it, Sawamura Hijiri? I searched the pockets of the victim's jacket earlier, and I found there, along with the victim's other wallet, another wallet, which is probably yours. I don't know, how your wallet ended up in the pocket of the victim's jacket, but when I found out your name after seeing your wallet, I found out that you live in Tokyo, so I called the police who live there, and I heard that they were looking for you, setting a trap for you with my friends".
"I didn't plan to kill Seiji-san! Seiji-san found out that I had embezzled our company's money, and was going to tell my boss! I only did it to pay off the gambling debt I got at the secret casinos", Man said, surrendering. "And when we had a fight before that, Seiji-san took my wallet and the gambling receipt in it as evidence against me".
"Case solved", Shizuka thought as the cops took the perpetrator away, and the ambulance crew took Seiji to the hospital in an ambulance.
"Good, Shizuka-kun", Agasa whispered to Shizuka.
Shizuka nodded.
