"Yeah though I do not like revealing it unless asked though," Yoiko told her
"I noticed the looks she gives Ranko sometimes. They bother me as the look in her eyes at those times" Issei said.
"Nothing we can do about it right. Maybe it has something to do with why she told Yoiko to stay away from me" Ranko suggested.
Today it was just the three of them that were heading over to Yoiko's place as they decided to leave Raynare and Asia at Issei's. When Raynare heard who Yoiko's father was she decided that might be best if she remained there for the time being. She might have changed but she was still a fallen angel after all, best not to take chances that she did not need to.
"Man so that was the guy that they could not get in contact with back then," Ranko said
Shortly after she had made it back to Japan, she ended up doing a mission for some people and was given the mansion she now had a reward for doing so.
"The Wanderer. Sound like an interesting nickname to have though" Issei said
"It was something he got before me and my siblings were born," Yoiko said
"Really how many siblings do you have," Ranko asked
"Six...at least six that I know of and get this according to our moms we were all born at the exact same time in our various hometowns" Yoiko revealed to them
"I seen and heard some crazy things but that really is up there" Ranko replied
Because Yoiko and her siblings were all born at the exact same time none of them could be considered older or younger than others. It was something that would have made the news if not for the various people that the Wanderer knew back then to keep this from the public.
"My dad is great as he is probably the only person I know stronger than you or Issei. However, he travels a lot so he might not be home at the moment." Yoiko said as she arrived at her front door
Neither recalled directly telling Yoiko exactly how strong they were as Ranko was sure she was decently strong at least for a human given that she was aware of how powerful humans can actually be and that there were a variety of other races in the world as well that were stronger than them still.
Ranko saw the door open and then froze at the figure standing there in the doorway. Their eyes locked and Ranko then stared back away as she started breathing heavily and her hands went to cover her stomach all of a sudden. She was scared as she had only recalled being this scared a handful of times in her life so far...at least what she could recall of her life.
"Ranko!? What's wrong this is just my dad but why is he here all of a sudden. Sure he pops up randomly but I did not think he would be here today" Yoiko said
Issei took one look at Yoiko's dad, Ryoga Hibiki, and noticed something that caused an extreme reaction within him as well.
"YOU!" Issei roared out as then his Sacred Gear appeared on her right arm but not in its Twice Critical form but instead the true form of Boosted Gear.
One of the earliest memories Ranko would recall was seeing a mushroom and a guy with a yellow and black speckled bandana around his head. This was the reason why Ranko never wanted to eat anything with mushrooms as she actually feared them and the yellow and black speckled bandana guy would appear in her nightmare when she was younger. There were many nights when Irina and Issei were with her that she slept with them or their parents as a result of those nightmares.
The rage and anger Issei felt at that time bubbled to the surface and he launched an attack directly at Ryoga which connected to his face. However, it was not because Ryoga was unable to block or dodge it or do anything.
An Egyptian woman had appeared from Ranko's shadow, knocking her out, and pushed Ryoga's head into the path of Issei's fist in quick succession.
"That should do it for now as my rage at the moment has been satisfied as well" the woman said
'At the moment' Ryoga thought as he knew that would not be enough to fully cover everything.
"Ryoga! Why is there breaking news about a sudden explosion in the ocean" Yoiko's mother Akane Hibiki demanded to know.
"Greeting Hibki family. I am Amina the legal guardian and master of Ranko here" She said as Ranko was still out cold on her shoulder.
Though this time it was Ryoga's turn to be shocked.
"That right Wanderer. Amina is just my current mortal name as I am the Egyptian Goddess Bastet" she said revealing that to everyone.
