Donna was sound asleep in her bed. Baby Groot was sleeping in Donna's shooting star bag while Mooroo was dozing in her cage and Vee was recharging.
In the living room, Lea was making earrings to give to her coworkers. She made a pair of conch shell earrings, a pair of record earrings, and a pair of sunflower earrings. As she got up to fourteen pairs of earrings, she decided to take a little break and watch something on the streaming services. Amongst the movie options were The Modem, The Modem II, and The Modem: Restoration. However, she remembered that she was neutral towards The Modem series. "What else is on there?"
"Meega know," Stitch said, showing Lea an espionage movie that features a Hispanic-American boy in a tuxedo, a caucasian girl in red, and a pacific-islander girl in magenta.
"What is this?" Lea asked.
Stitch showed the explanation box for the movie
Spy Me A River
Based on the 1960s spy flick of the same name.
Deacon Rivera is an eighteen-year-old student from Hawaii with a secret, he is a spy for the Central Intelligence Agency. After years of training, Deacon is ready for his first mission under his spy name, 'Deac Rivers'. Former model and Gemologist, 'Dr. Belinda Bingenheimer' a.k.a 'Dr. Bikini plans to smuggle rare sunstones from Russia to Hawaii. Now with the help from his best friend, 'Kai Mahaluau' and the mysterious Russian spy, 'Major Smoochie' they must stop Dr. Bikini before she makes the world summer, forever.
"Do you recommend this, Stitch," Lea asked.
"Ih," Stitch said, "Scooby and Shaggy were once on set."
Thinking about what he said, Lea recalled once that Shaggy told her that he and his Mystery Incorporated team were once stunt doubles on an attempt to remake Spy Me A River when they were teenagers. Vincent Wong, the director at the time, hated the production and never got a chance to read the script. The original remake got canned because of poor quality. Luckily, thanks to the rise of high-tech CGI and equal rights, Sunny Days Studio attempted to redo it in a high-quality way.
"Since it has better quality than the attempted remake," Lea said, "We should watch it."
Stitch bounced on the couch with joy, "After we stop jumping on the couch," Lea said while grabbing the little alien, "Buying a new couch may be expensive."
With the click of the play button, they begin to watch, Spy Me A River.
