Me: Hey there everyone! It's WOLFWATCHER12 and The Amazing Ghost Musician here with you again for yet another chapter of Steven Universe: War Of The Beasts!
The Amazing Ghost Musician: What's up Motherf*****s!
Me: Well, since this is also the launch of our 11th chapter, we will also be honoring the memory of Ivan Reitman, the director of Ghostbusters 1 and 2 and producer of Space Jam.
The Amazing Ghost Musician: We've lost another legend this year, so we will be dedicating this story in the memory of Ivan Reitman himself.
Me: Exactly, he was one of the greatest filmmakers ever.
The Amazing Ghost Musician: It's gonna be an idea that Wolf thought of, which will be different from the episodes of Beast Wars: Transformers.
Me: Yeppers, this time, were replacing "The Probe" with Steven Universe Future episode 8 "Why So Blue?" and mixing it a little bit with Ultraman Tiga episode 2 "Stone Of Legends", so, I'll be doing the Ultraman Tiga styled parts.
The Amazing Ghost Musician: As we might've told you in the last chapter, we absolutely hated that episode "The Probe", but we're not gonna go into a long explanation.
Me: Yeah, and you guys pretty much know how the episodes went, so, we won't give too much away. Right dude?
The Amazing Ghost Musician: Exactly! So after a month of thinking of what to do for chapter 11, Wolf right here thought of a much better idea. You wanna tell our readers just in case they don't remember from the ending of our previous chapter?
Me: Well, okay.
The Amazing Ghost Musician: Oh dude, throughout the story I've forgotten about one thing.
Me: What is it?
The Amazing Ghost Musician: Turns out Steven and the others gems, their team name is called "The Crystal Gems". We should've been using that throughout the story.
Me: Oh scrap! Of all the rotten luck!
The Amazing Ghost Musician: But since there's a lot of Steven Universe fans out there, I'm sure a lot of them won't be too upset. Anyway, do you wanna explain the entire plot idea you had for this chapter?
Me: Sure. Alright, here is how it goes: Steven, Cheetor and Lapis visit an alien planet being terraformed by a pair of other Lapis Lazulis and try to convince them to find other ways of expressing themselves. Their efforts prove difficult, and Lapis soon becomes agitated at how much they remind her of her former disregard for life. Meanwhile, in a mining area of Beach City, the Predacons discover that there is a Gem Monster that had been buried there for a long time. Tarantulas was the one who found it and Megatron will want to release it, but what he doesn't realize is that there might be two of them.
The Amazing Ghost Musician: WOW! Talk about a big plot in the works, I'm sure our fellow readers will love this chapter.
Me: Oh yeah!
The Amazing Ghost Musician: I just hope that this chapter won't take too long to finish.
Me: I hope so too. But, other than that, at the end of this chapter, there is someone who wants to see you, man.
The Amazing Ghost Musician: I wonder who that might be, but we'll find out after today's chapter.
Me: You'll find out at the end of the chapter.
The Amazing Ghost Musician: But anyway, we hope that you all will like chapter 11.

Chapter 11: Why So Blue, Gem Of The Gargantuan?!
It was a normal day in Beach City, and Steve was just enjoying the view of the town and just then, Lapis walked up to him, "Hi Steven." She greeted him.
"Oh, Lapis, hi." he greeted. "Good to see you."
Lapis smiled at him, "So, whatcha up to?" she asked, putting her hands on her hips.
"Nothing much, just enjoying the nice view so far." he said, but then he told her something else. "I'm also thinking about adding more members to Little Homeschool."
"Hmm, that is tricky." said Lapis, as she sat down next to him. "Maybe we could go to different planets and find them."
"Good thinking, Lapis!" he said to her, giving her a hug which made her smile. Just then, Steven gets a response from his comlink, he then tapped it and he said, "Steven here, go ahead."
"It's Cheetor, where are you at?" asked Cheetor, as his voice came out of the comm-link.
"Oh, I'm with Lapis right now." Steven replied.
"Hi Cheetor!" She greeted him.
"Hey Lapis, anyway, Optimus needs you both in the Axalon, stat!" he told them.
"We're on our way!" said Steven, as he and Lapis raced back to the Axalon.
Inside the ship, Steven, Lapis and Cheetor met with Optimus in the main hold of the Axalon, where he showed them what he had found out.
"Glad you made it." said Optimus, greeting Steven and Lapis. "We're gonna need you for this job, Steven."
"Glad to be on board, Optimus." replied Steven. "What's the mission profile?"
And so Optimus began to elaborate and he said, "Rhinox found a major Energon source that's not on Earth." He pressed a few buttons on the console and it showed where the source was coming from. "It came from this planet, looks like it has a tropical forest on it, and not only that, but there have been sightings of Gems that look like you Lapis, but each has a different emotion."
Lapis looked at this in astonishment. "What, you mean, this could be my homeworld from before?"
"It very well could be." replied Optimus.
Lapis looked at the image in awe and was stunned by this. "Whoa!" Cheetor said, as he marveled at this. "Looks like you might be going to your birth home, Lapis."
"You may be right, Cheetor." Lapis replied to him.
Optimus smiled at Lapis and said, "Your mission is to go there, find the Energon source, analyze it, bring a sample back here and at the same time, form an alliance between these versions of Lapis and the others that live on that planet."
Steven, Lapis and Cheetor all saluted him. "ROGER THAT!" they said in unison.
It was then that Cheetor asked, "But, one question though. How are we supposed to get there without a shuttle?"
"We'll use a Warp Pad," said Steven.
"Yeah, that should work." said Lapis, agreeing with Steven.
"I'll ask Garnet to see if she can find the nearest Warp Pad." said Steven, as he went to his communicator.
Cheetor then asked, "What's a Warp Pad?"
"It's like a teleporter that sends us across the stars to other planets in the universe." Lapis explained to him. "There are a few here on Earth, some in North and South America, as well as Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe and the Arctic Circle."
"Ah, so it's similar to the Global Space Bridge." said Cheetor, denoting the similarity to what they used. "Only, your version is different in several ways." he added, getting a nod from Lapis and so they went with Steven.
At the Predacon Base, Megatron was sitting on his throne and was lost in thought, and Jasper was feeling the same way and she thought of something of her own.
Just then, a beeping sound could be heard, *ALERT, ALERT! MAXIMALS AND CRYSTAL GEMS ON THE MOVE!* said the computer.
"What?" asked Jasper, wanting to know this.
The screen showed Lapis, Steven and Cheetor bolting somewhere. "So, it seems that Steven Universe, the cat and that Lapis girl are racing somewhere, yesssss. But, where could it be?"
The computer then replied, *LOCATION OF STEVEN UNIVERSE, LAPIS LAZULIS AND MAXIMAL UNIT CHEETOR, UNKNOWN.* to them.
Megatron then asked, "Best estimate?"
*UNMARKED TERRITORY, THERE IS A STRUCTURE OF UNKNOWN DESIGN THERE.* the computer said, showing what the structure looked like.
Jasper gasped and recognized it, "That's…That's a Warp Pad!"
"Warp Pad?" asked Megatron.
"Gems use them to transport themselves across the universe." Jasper elaborated to him. "I wonder why they are going to this one?" she wondered.
"Mmmmmmm… Interesting!" Megatron agreed with her. "Anything else?"
\CONFIRMED\ said the computer. \SEVERAL OPAL MINERS HAVE BEEN SCARED OFF BY WHAT APPEARS TO BE A CREATURE DWELLING INSIDE A CAVE.\ The computer showed the source of this disturbance and revealed that it was on the Northeast corner of Beach City.
It was at that moment that Megatron went to the communicator and said, "Tarantulas, come in!"
Just then, Tarantulas's image appeared on a monitor. "You beckoned Lord Megatron?" he asked.
"Indeed," replied Megatron. "Head to these coordinates, apparently some Miners were scared off by some creature on the Northeast corner of Beach City. Find out what it is, then report back to me!" he ordered.
"At once, Lord Megatron!" said Tarantulas, as he signed off and transformed into Beast Mode.
We now see Tarantulas hopping from tree to tree, making quick work of navigation to the Northeast corner and seeing where the Miners had fled.
"Heh, pathetic humans." said Tarantulas. "They get scared of the silliest things!" He taunted them in secret. "Better search the place."
The Tarantula Predacon looked all around the area, but then, he overheard some conversation between the miners that escaped and a rescue crew.
The uniforms the rescue crew were wearing looked like a mix of motorcycle leather and jumpsuits, and had a logo that said B.C.R.A. which was short for Beach City Rescue Alliance, the miners were so frightened and they explained their findings to the crew.
One of the Miners asked, "What's the point of you even being here" he demanded in a frantic way. "If you can't even explain what's going on?" he sounded enraged.
"We're still investigating!" said the man out front, trying to keep them all calm.
Another Miner spoke up and said, "All we're saying is, you can at least tell us what's happening in there!"
"We lost some of our guys down there!" another Miner perked up.
Inside a tent, one of the technical experts said, "Nothing there? That's impossible!" He then typed on the computer and began searching again. "We're reading the strongest life signs in that area." Inside the cave, some of the crew were searching around and using their tools to sense it. "There might be something inside the stone walls there. So, be careful."
"We will." said a female member of the crew. "Come on, everyone." Everyone nodded as they followed her. But then, she thought of something, "You three go that way, and you two come with me." She ordered her crewmen to split up into groups of three and search the premises.
The three who went down the other path followed their scanners and turned their flashlights on to figure out where the 'creature' might be. But, little did they know, Tarantulas was in the cave, following them.
He chuckled and snickered, "Yes, yes, lead me to the secret in this cave, then we'll find out who will get out alive." he cackled silently.
Just then, the one at the computer came out of the tent and stood next to his men. "Oh, Director Kurazawa, good to see you, sir." said one of the B.C.R.A. crewmen.
"You're the director?" asked a Miner, getting a nod from him. "So, what is all of this?" he wondered.
He then said, "Please, be patient, everyone." he urged. "The investigation is still underway."
But then, one of the Minser started getting mad, "They must all be dead by now!" he yelled.
"All dead at the hands of Gemudar!" said another worker, solemnly.
The crewmen all looked at each other in shock, "Gemudar?" he asked.
"Yes," said a worker.
Just then, the foreman of the mining team shouted angrily, "WHAT IS GOING ON HERE?!" he demanded. "NO LAZING AROUND, WHEN THERE'S WORK TO BE DONE!" he was in a fit of anger.
But then, one of the B.C.R.A. crewmen said, "Excuse me, are you the foreman?" he asked him.
"Yes. What of it?"
"What is this Gemudar I heard about?" he asked.
The foreman was stunned a little bit and then another worker spoke up, "This entire section of the city is said to be home to Gemudar, a Gem Monster that can turn living creatures into crystals." he said.
"THAT'S ENOUGH NONSENSE!" shouted the foreman, shoving the worker back. He then turned to the crewman and said, "I don't know what brought you here, but this is no place for the Beach City Rescue Alliance!" He then turned to his workers, "And these stories about Gemudar, they're all lies!"
Just then, another worker countered him. "Gemudar truly does exist!" he said.
"Yes, it does!" said another worker as he approached the foreman. "That is why we will not go back in there with that thing lurking!"
But the foreman did not care and shoved the guy to the ground. "You think I give a damn about what you think or anybody else here thinks? I DON'T CARE!" he shouted. "IN FACT, YOU ALL ARE NEVER GETTING PAID FOR WORKING! YOU ALL GET NOTHING!" he said, bullying them around. "SO YOU EITHER GET BACK TO WORK OR YOU ARE ALL FIRED!"
But then, one of the miners got angry, threw his hat on the ground and punched the foreman in the jaw and he fell on his back, "No, Bennet! You CAN'T fire me or ANY of US!" he yelled. "I am DONE working for a BLOWHARD OF A MONSTER LIKE YOU! I…QUIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIITTTTTTTT!" he stormed off in a rage. However, his punch was so hard on the foreman, the foreman was knocked out cold. "THAT PUNCH WAS FOR SHOVING MY FATHER! NOBODY MESSES WITH MY FAMILY AND GETS AWAY WITH IT YOU MONSTER RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" he shouted as he ran off crying.
One of the crewmen looked at this in shock, "Who was that weird guy?"
"That was my son, Malcolm Rutherford IV." said another miner.
"Oh, I meant weird in a good way." said the crewman.
"Forget him for now, we're not lying." said another miner.
Meanwhile, inside the cave, some other crewmen kept following the scanner to where the energy readings were coming from. They then followed them to the crystal-like statues of the miners that had been victimized by Gemudar. But then, one of them turned to the left and the beeping intensified and they asked, "Hey! What is this?" asked the crewmember in a female voice.
They all turned around to see what it was. One of the crew members screamed and was grabbed by a giant claw and the others all yelled in shock and bolted right out of the cave, but the female crew member saw what Gemudar's eyes looked like. They were red and gold.
She managed to get out of the cave and spotted Malcom without his helmet and crying in sadness, she started to have a sad look on her face too and so she sat down next to him.
Tarantulas then decided to go inside the cave and searched along the walls. "Soooooo, the mighty Gemudar does exist! And it rests here? Well, isn't this quite a discovery." he chuckled a little bit.
He kept on crawling and was trying to find out where Gemudar might be, he saw the trail that one of the B.C.R.A. crewmen had made when they first went in and found that they had dropped something after Gemudar had frozen them as a crystal statue.
"Ah, this could be useful." said Tarantulas, as he was intrigued by this.
He then sent some of his spider-like drones into the cave to do an analysis of what he was dealing with. He then found some more dormant Gems inside the cave, got out some more jars and put them inside. Tarantulas crept around silently and began to search.
"I'll have to be careful." he said, but then contacted Megatron. "Lord Megatron, I'm at the site. And I have learned something. The miners here were scared stiff because of this monster called Gemudar."
This left Megatron shocked when he heard that, "What!? Gemudar is here, in Beach City?" he whispered to the communicator.
"Precisely, my lord!" Tarantulas said, "It seems as though Pink Diamond and the other Crystal Gems had battled him before. From what I can gather, they buried him here long ago after they won against him. Ever since then, Gemudar has been buried down here for a long time."
Megatron was bewildered by this. "Hmmmmm…A Gem Monster, yessssss." he said, feeling amazed by this. "Such a giant creature could end the Beast Wars once and for all! Do your best to control it!" he ordered.
"At once, Lord Megatron!" said Tarantulas, as he kept on searching.
Just then a helicopter arrived and out came one of the leaders of the B.C.R.A., this was General Hideyoshi Matheson, and he never went anywhere without his bodyguards. He then walked over to the witnesses.
"How many of you have survived Gemudar?" he asked all of them.
"Just a lot of us." said one of the Miners.
General Matheson then asked, "What does he look like?"
He then described him, "Well, it's as tall as a skyscraper, with one humongous horn on its head." he depicted.
But, another miner stopped him right there, "Go study the history books, there are two horns." they said to him and they all began debating about it.
But the General looked at one of the crewmen, "One or Two, it's still bad news."
"Agreed sir." the crewman said, agreeing with him as the minerse kept debating about it.
We now find Cheetor, Steven and Lapis and they found the structure they seek. It was the Warp Pad they needed to get to the planet.
"Okay, shall we?" asked Steven.
"We shall." said Lapis, agreeing with him
"Let's do it!" Cheetor added, as they all stood on the pad and *ZHAWOOM* they were rocketed from the Earth to the jungle-like planet.
They left the Warp Pad and looked all around the planet in awe at what a place it was. Primitive, lush and authentic. "Okay. This shouldn't take too long." said Steven, getting out his scanner. "Most Gems come around pretty quickly when I invite them to Little Homeschool in person."
Lapis looked around and marveled at it. "What a gorgeous planet."
"I wish I had visited a place like this before." said Cheetor, as he was amazed.
It was then that Steven, Cheetor and Lapis encountered a mysterious flower bud creature. "Woah." he said.
"What is that?" asked Cheetor.
"Dunno." said Lapis.
Steven proceeds to touch it, which makes the bud retreat into a bush with other buds. Steven approaches the buds again and pets one. "It's okay, little guy." he said, being kind to the animal, and then gets crawled on by it. "Hahaha." he then laughs more.
While this was happening, Lapis mused this. "Wow, Steven. It took you a whole five seconds to make a new friend. You're getting rusty." she said to him, as she approached and looked at the critter. "You know, I never used to notice creatures like this." she denoted to him. "Before Earth and you, I used to terraform planets without thinking twice. I wonder what I destroyed." She contemplated about it a little bit and the bud creature opened to show it's flower-like self. "Life like this is so precious."
The bud creatures all open up, but then close as something passes through the air. "Uh, Steven, Lapis…" said Cheetor, as he pointed in a different direction. They walk to an edge to see what's going on. And they see two Gems that look like Lapis, one "Nice" and one "Mean." And Cheetor said, "Whoa, Lapis, are those your sisters?" he asked her, getting a nod to confirm it was true.
"Ah. So the rumors are true." said Steven, looking onward.
Lapis looked down and saw that they were fighting each other, "You think they didn't get your message that we're not destroying planets anymore?" she asked him.
"I'm sure they did. Everyone did." replied Steven to her. "But, I'll get them to stop."
Lapis then brought up, "This might be harder than you think."
"I hope it's not." replied Cheetor.
So, they all raced over to where they were now fighting at. A blue figure flys by them and crashes right into the ground. "There they are." Steven pointed out.
In the distance is "Nice" Lapis and "Mean" Lapis, who are manipulating the water to slice up a large rock. This terrifies the flower bud creatures into hiding. "Hey! Stop!" he said, getting in the way of their clash.
The Lapides decide to throw a tidal wave at Steven and Lapis, the former guarding against it successfully.
One of the Lapides stopped and looked at him, "Wait a minute. That's Steven Universe!"
"Mean" Lapis blinked at this. "Him? He's smaller than I thought."
Both of them float down to the edge, prompting Lapis and Cheetor to head over there.
"Mean" Lapis and "Nice" Lapis both saw the quadruped, "What is that?" asked "Nice" Lapis.
Cheetor then transformed into Robot Mode and introduced himself, "My name is Cheetor, I'm a Maximal from the planet Cybertron."
"Wait, so you're a Transformer?" asked "Mean" Lapis.
"Yep." he replied to them. "We were sent by order of Maximal Commander Optimus Primal. We heard there was a source of Energon here on this planet."
The "Emotion" Lapis' looked at each other, "Energon!? Here?" they said in unison.
"Exactly!" said Steven.
"Nice" Lapis went up to him and showed him what was there. "Well, what do you think? We're almost done with this world."
"Mean" Lapis looked at the Lapis that was with them. "And who's this? We don't need the extra help." she said, in an annoyed manner.
You must have heard about our exemplary work. That's why you're here, I presume." "Nice" Lapis asked Lapis 1 and Steven.
Steven said to them. "Yeah. Well, no. Look, the empire is over."
"Nice" Lapis simply replied, "We know."
Steven also pointed out, "The Diamonds don't control you anymore."
"That's right." replied "Mean" Lapis.
And finally, he added, "... So, you don't have to terraform planets for them anymore. You're free to do whatever you like. Why don't you come on down to Little Homeschool where you can-"
Suddenly, "Nice" Lapis figured out what he meant. "Oh, I see. This is just a misunderstanding."
"Terraforming is what we like." said "Mean" Lapis.
Main Lapis let out a grieving sigh, "Here we go."
Steven felt a little uncomfortable with how they said it, "Uh, okay, wait. You're free to do whatever you like... as long as it's not destroying a world."
"Mean" Lapis then added, "That's not what you just said a second ago."
"Why would we stop?" asked "Nice Lapis.
Lapis said firmly, "Because it's wrong!"
"Nice" Lapis blinked rapidly, "Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. How can the thing we've always done just suddenly be wrong?" she asked, feeling like she was complaining. "At the very least, we've got to finish this world! We're almost done!"
"Unbelievable!" Cheetor ran a little bit.
Steven face palmed himself, "... Team huddle?"
Lapis said, repeating what Steven had said, "Team huddle."
"One moment, please." Cheetor said, as all of them retreated to the forest.
When they got inside the bush, Steven spoke to them. "You're right. This is harder than usual."
Lapis nodded, "You've just got to force them to stop. This is going to be a fight." she said. "They're not nice like me."
"Uhmm…" Steven just sputtered.
"Exactly." said Lapis. "They won't listen."
"This is not good, we gotta MAKE them listen!" said Cheetor.
Steven then thought of something. "They just don't understand that they're doing harm," he said. "Y-you get it. What made it click for you?"
Lapis then said, "A cycle of horrible torture. But other than that, living in nature, getting creative."
Steven then felt the lightbulb in his head tick, "Yeah. Come on! We can do that for them."
Lapis nodded, "Okay. Just a little torture."
Feeling panicked by this, Steven said, "N-no, just the other stuff."
Lapis sighs, "Fine. We'll try it your way." she said.
"That's good to know." said Cheetor, denoting he heard that right. He then converted back to Beast Mode.
Meanwhile, back on Earth, Optimus Primal and Rhinox were talking to Garnet about another little doodad she and Pearl had come up with.
"So, this invention of yours is a copy of what Tarantulas used to make those Gem Predacons?" asked Optimus, as he wanted to know.
Garnet and Pearl both nodded. Pearl said, "Yes! After going over the data Cheetor gave us last time, Garnet and I agreed to copy it, as well as make some upgrades to it."
"That's right." said Garnet. "With the technology that Tarantulas had, copying it could turn the tide."
Rhinox thought it over, "Hmmm, it would give us another advantage over them."
"Right." said Pearl, as she then pulled out something else. "Plus, this is an extra component for us."
Optimus looked at it, "What's that?" he asked.
"It's a Combinite Cube, it will give our Gem Maximals the ability to combine into even bigger robots."
"Combiners?" Rhinox asked in unison.
"Yes. Do you know about them? " Pearl
Optimus nodded, "Yes. I read about them when I was still a rookie in the Maximal Army." he replied to her. "I read about the Combiners from the Great War, Superion, Menasor, Devastator, Bruticus, Computron, Abominus, Predaking, Volcanicus and even Victorion."
Garnet and Pearl were bewildered by this, "Well, this right here is our equivalent to the Enigma Of Combination." said Garnet.
Just then, Dinobot walked into the main hold with Rattrap and Amethyst. "So, you Crystal Gems have a variant of the Enigma."
Garnet nodded, "That's correct, Dinobot." she said. "You've heard of it before?"
"Indeed, I have." replied Dinobot.
Pearl was quite intrigued. "And I take it you've read about it before too, Rattrap?"
"Not read, more like I heard about it from my great aunt Arcee." Rattrap said.
"Wow, I wish I could have met Victorion." Amethyst said, feeling like she wanted to meet someone who fought in the Great War.
Optimus then told her, "Well, the sparks of the Torchbearers that combine into her are still intact, they just need new bodies." he said to her.
They all thought it over and they knew that it was not going to be easy. But then, the alarm went off. *BTZZZ BTZZZ BTZZZ* |WARNING, WARNING, PREDACON ENERGY SIGNATURE DETECTED IN BEACH CITY MINING AREA| said Sentinel, denoting it correct.
They all rushed over to the computer and Garnet pressed a few buttons and asked, "Who is it?"
|PREDACON UNIT, TARANTULAS.| replied Sentinel, as it showed the energy signature.
Optimus thought it over, "What's he doing?"
And then Sentinel began showing what was going on. THE MINERS WERE SCARED BY SOMETHING CALLED GEMUDAR.|
That name shocked Dinobot to his very core. "Gemudar, impossible!" he said.
"Who or what is a Gemudar?" asked Rattrap.
Dinobot began to elaborate. "He is a terrifying creature." he started off. "Years ago, before the Gems came to Earth, they fought against these Gem Monsters, the Gemoniac Titans they were called. They are gem creatures the size of any building the humans had constructed. Gemudar was one of the ones that nearly destroyed the Gem Warriors, but then a Crystal Giant appeared and defeated Gemudar and buried him on a distant planet."
"Which one?" asked Garnet.
"It was this one…Earth!" Dinobot replied, "65,000,000 years ago to be precise. He was buried near Beach City right before the Continental Drift. Along with his fellow Gem Monsters."
This news left the others all slack jawed in shock by what Dinobot just told them. Optimus and Rhinox both gasped.
"SAY WHAT?" Amethyst yelped.
"NO!" Pearl gasped in horror.
"AW SLAG!" Rattrap said, feeling frightened by this. "First it was Megatron stealin the Golden Disk, then those Gem Predacons arrived and now we got Gem MONSTERS!"
"Oh my!" said Garnet. "I had not expected this."
Optimus folded his arms in concern, "I'm curious, what happened to this Crystal Giant that defeated the monsters?"
"No one knows," said Dinobot, as he continued. "One day, he just disappeared. But, a few people had a feeling he would return."
"Not sure when that would happen, I bet." Amethyst replied.
"Indeed," said Dinobot.
"If the Predacons are able to free that Gem Monster from captivity inside the mine, there'll be chaos!" said Optimus, feeling the need to go into battle.
"May the Matrix help us all!" Rhinox said solemnly.
Meanwhile, at the cave, Tarantulas was now crawling on the walls, trying to make sure he didn't disturb Gemudar and at the same time, he spotted something that was directly behind the monster.
"Hmm, what's this?" Tarantulas said to himself. He got a closer look and found out what it was, "Stable Energon Cubes?" He was stunned by this and gasped in shock. "These could be useful for Lord Megatron…As well as the Tripredacus Council too." he chuckled a little.
He crept along a little more and made sure not to wake Gemudar up at all. He then got out a container and took about 25 Energon Cubes without waking the Gem Monster and then closed the lid on it.
"That should do it." Tarantulas whispered, as he crept out of the cave. As Tarantulas crawled out of the tunnel, he saw a member of the B.C.R.A. in there and they were scared out of their wits when they saw him. "Human germ!" He insulted the operative.
"YITE!" he yelled as he ran out of the cave and went to tell the other members as well as the miners.
The B.C.R.A member got to where they all were, "Whoa, Nakamichi, what happened to you?" asked one of the operatives.
"What happened?" said Nakamichi, "This GIANT SPIDER happened! And it spoke!"
"We didn't see any giant spiders there," said one of the miners. But then, the spider in question came out of the tunnel and transformed into Robot mode. "Is that it?"
"Yes!" said Nakamichi.
"That's Tarantulas, he's one of the Predacons!" said General Matheson. "B.C.R.A, contact Optimus Primal and the Maximals at once!"
"Yes sir!" the operatives said.
"I don't think so!" Tarantulas was about to blow up their transmission unit, but he was halted by the miner that quit when he got out a pipe and whacked him with it. "Ugh…not fair! You caught me off guard!"
"Serves you right, you filthy, fiendish cad!" said Malcom.
But just then, the ground started to shake, causing the both of them to fall and then out of the ground came Gemudar in all its glory. It looked
"What the hell was that?" Malcolm asked himself.
"I'm not sure." Tarantulas said to himself. "Beast Mode!" he shouted, turning back into his beast form and retreating to Megatron.
Meanwhile, the B.C.R.A. operatives got to work. And they began the transmission, "Optimus Primal, this is General Hideyoshi Matheson of the Beach City Rescue Alliance, do you read me?"
"We read you loud and clear, General." Optimus said on the monitor. "What is it?"
"Tarantulas has been sighted, but he got away with something," said Hideyoshi. "And now, Gemudar has risen from the ground. We need your help! We're in grave danger!"
"On our way!" said Optimus, disconnecting from the transmission.
Just then, Gemudar roared *GUROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG* really loudly. Making the citizens terrified. *GURRRRRROOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNG!* it roared again.
(A/N: Gemudar is secretly saying, "I AM GEMUDAR OF THE GEMKAIJU! HOW DARE YOU DISTURB MY SLUMBER AND TAKE MY GEMSTONES!? I WILL DESTROY YOU ALL!" making it clear that he wants to annihilate the humans.)
The miners all got into the rescue vehicles and got out of the way. And they all got to a safe position and one of them said, "Wait, where's Malcom?"
Then, one of the operatives said, "He's still down there!" as they panicked. "And so is Kira!"
"What!?" they all said in unison. And it was true, the female operative that was with Malcom was in fact still down there and she set up some defense to make sure Malcom was not hurt.
General Matheson looked down and said, "I hope she knows what she's doing."
"She'll pull through," said a miner, standing next to the General. "Kira is my daughter after all." the other miners all gasped at this.
Meanwhile on the other planet, Steven, Lapis and Cheetor were still thinking of something to get "Mean" Lapis and "Nice" Lapis to listen to them. The three return to the Lapides, walking backward while waving.
Steven spoke up, "Hey, so, why don't we explore the many things that you can do that don't involve destroying worlds?" he asked them.
The two Lapides looked at each other and "Mean" Lapis asked, "Should we listen to him?"
"Nice" Lapis added, "He is half-Diamond. Maybe, we should half-listen."
"I'll take that as a "yes." Let's go." said Steven, as Cheetor and Lapis went into the forest again. Steven sighs in a gentle way. "Look at the trees. Smell the fresh air. Getting any life-altering tingling sensations yet?" he asked the Lapides.
"Nice" Lapis looked around and looked half-enthusiastic. "Everything is so... bright." she said.
However, "Mean" Lapis pokes a leaf and shrugs her shoulders, "I prefer only two colors- the colors of rock and mud." she said.
Lapis was a little disgruntled by this, "I understand you don't see the beauty of this, but you will. There was a time when I couldn't see it either, but I learned to appreciate organic life. It's really different and special." she said, and Cheetor smiled at her for saying that. "Maybe, try something like this." Lapis manipulates some mud to create a shape.
"This is "meep morp." It's subjective and debatable, but it is meep morp nonetheless." said Steven, denoting it.
Cheetor was a little confused by it. "Meep Morp, I think I remember Amethyst telling me about that before." he said to himself.
"Mean" Lapis was intrigued by this. "So, you can do whatever you want with your powers, but you choose to make junk?"
Lapis felt a little hurt, but shrugged it off. "I-it doesn't have to be exactly this." she shot back. "You can create anything." She then creates a sun lounger, providing Steven with mud beverages and sunglasses for Lapides.
Steven drinks mud and spits it out, feeling grossed out by it. "So lifelike. I forgot." he choked a little bit. Cheetor patted him on the back.
"Don't do that again, okay dude?" asked Cheetor, feeling worried as Steven nodded to confirm that.
"Mean" Lapis raised her eyebrow, "Okay?"
"It's more satisfying than you think. Trust me. Just give it a try." Lapis urged.
The Lapides shrugged their shoulders and began to create a ball of water. Which impressed Lapis a little bit. "That's it! Try making other shapes, too…well, anything you want."
So the Lapides do, but it's a spike ball, then a buzzsaw, which they throw and slice a rock behind Cheetor, Steven and Lapis.
"Mean" Lapis was pleased with herself. "That was way easier than what we've been doing."
"Nice" Lapis nodded to her. "Yeah! We can clear out this planet in no time!"
Steven, Cheetor and Lapis stood there with deadpanned expressions. "Steven, this isn't working."
Steven approached them. "A-Ahem. Looks like you two still have a lot of energy to get out." he chuckles. "Maybe, you'd like something more physical, like dance."
This made the two Lapides look at each other in confusion. "Nice" Lapis asked, "Dance?"
"Just, check this out," said Steven, as he got out his phone.
'Can't believe he brought that with him?' thought Cheetor.
"Ah, I see you brought that with you," said Lapis.
Steven and Lapis dance to his phone's music, but this doesn't impress "Mean" Lapis. "Nice" Lapis, meanwhile, seems to be getting the groove until she notices "Mean" Lapis' unapproving stare. "Uh... let's get back to it!" said "Nice" Lapis.
Lapis sighed in frustration. "I get it. This stuff won't make you feel good right away." she said. "Maybe, it never will. But, it will help you navigate your new way of feeling." the blue Crystal Gem If you don't like dancing, you could try expressing yourself through song.
"Mean" Lapis was confused. "Huh?"
Lapis worries in demonstrating, but Steven gives the encouraging nod.
Cheetor wasn't sure about this but he went back into Beast Mode. As Lapis began to sing.

So many shades of sorrow got mixed into my hue.
And each new moment just astounds me. So much I wanna do.
I finally feel my colors shining through.
I'm tired of the fighting. I'm tired of the blame.

That brought a tear to Steven's eye. The Lapides however laugh in mockery.
"Mean" Lapis said, "You really expect us to dance and sing like Pearls?" she laughs again. "Forget it, Steven Universe. You've already got a Lapis doing what you want, and look how dull it's made her, or was she always this pitiful?"
Steven shot up and said, "Th-there's no need to be hurtful. We're just trying to-"
"Mean" Lapis shoved him to the side. "Uh-uh-uh-uh-uh. You've taken enough of our time. Let's get back to it, shall we?" denoting that she didn't want to hear it anymore. The Lapides start to terraform.
Just then, Cheetor got really mad, went back into Robot Mode and had an angry stare directed at "Mean" Lapis. "RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRR!" he snarled. "I'LL SCORCH YOU FOR THAT!"
Only for "Mean" Lapis to respond by blasting him, but he shot back at her with his gun.
Lapis begins shaking her fist, "That's it! I've had enough of you two!"
Steven tried to stop her, "Wait, we agreed we wouldn't fight."
"If we had done this my way, we would've been done from the start." Lapis said to him, as she flew to the Lapides.
Steven was worried. "Wait!"
Lapis zoomed at them, "Hey, you two! That's enough."
"Mean" Lapis taunted, "Oh, look who it is."
"Nice" Lapis wondered. "Have you decided to give us a hand?"
"You could say that." said Lapis, as she forms hands from her wings, which flick the Lapides away really hard.
"Nice" Lapis then regained her composure, "Did she just do that?" she asked.
"Mean" Lapis nodded, "Yeah. She did that." as she manipulates below water with "Nice" Lapis. "Water hands, huh? Mind if we try?" she taunted, as the water hand slaps Lapis from the sky and is heading to Steven and the bud creatures.
Steven and Cheetor gasp. "Oh, damn." Steven then summons a shield to protect himself, also holding Lapis. "Lapis! Are you okay?"
"I'm fine. Stay out of it." she urged him, as she flew back up, forming water chains as attacks.
"Water chains?" asked "Mean" Lapis.
"You really need to stop teaching us new things." "Nice" Lapis added back, as Lapis was caught by a chain and smashed to the edge wall, then held bound.
Cheetor was enraged by this. "Slag, this is such bunk!"
"Mean" Lapis then fires a blast at Cheetor and then he goes to Beast Mode again and races up the trees and gouges at "Mean" Lapis with his claws in anger and rage.
However, Steven spotted this, "Lapis!"
"We really have to thank you for all the wonderful things you taught us today." "Mean" Lapis said.
"Turns out, they're not totally useless." "Nice Lapis added.
The Lapides create a saw and throw it at Lapis.
Steven and Cheetor said in unison, "Look out!"
Lapis then dissipates the saw and causes the area to rumble. Water flows into the area and washes the Lapides over. The former surrounds Lapis to form a giant figure of herself that she controls.
"WHO'S DULL NOW? WHO'S PITIFUL NOW, BITCHES?!" she yelled in a rage.
Lapis creates a water harpoon, terrifying the Lapides into submission. However, a glance at Steven stops her, and she returns to the edge. Cheetor then refocused himself and raced over to Steven. "Hey. You okay?" asked Steven.
"Yeah, I'm good!" Lapis said, as she struggled to get up. The Bud creature jumps from Steven to Lapis. "Yeah. Sorry about that." The water disappears, and Lapis, Cheetor and Steven approach the Lapides. Lapis pointed her sword at them. "Hey. We're done. No more fighting."
"Nice" Lapis panted and said, "Sure!"
"Mean" Lapis nodded and panted for breath and feeling like she couldn't fight anymore. "Fine by me!"
Lapis was still being stern with them. "And no more terraforming. You'll leave this planet alone?" she asked.
"Uh huh!" said "Nice" Lapis, as she panicked a little bit.
"Mean" Lapis nodded frantically. "After that ridiculous show of strength, we'll do anything you say!" she begged.
Lapis sighed with grief. "That wasn't strength! That was a weakness." she rendered them confused a little bit, and heck, even Cheetor knew what she meant. "Restraint takes strength. Patience takes strength! ... Ugh." she groused a little as she walked away. "I don't have the strength to deal with you."
Steven was a little nervous about this. But, he handed them something each. "...Here's some brochures for our school in case you're interested." he said and walked away.
Cheetor also told them, "Sometimes it takes more strength not to fight at all." he told them. "At least, that is what Optimus always tells me." he sighed in depression and then said, "Beast Mode." He converted back to his beast form and went with Lapis and Steven.
It was then that Lapis finally found the Energon signature and grabbed a sample of it, put it in the container and said, "Alright, we got the Energon sample from this planet."
"Good tracking, Lapis," said Cheetor.
"We should head back to base," said Steven. "Okay team, let's go home."
They went back to the Warp Pad and headed back to Earth. "Wait, allow me to go with you." said a voice, revealing itself to be "Nice" Lapis. "Don't worry, I'll be on my best behavior."
They all looked at each other and shrugged their shoulders, "Okay." they said in unison and all left the planet.
Back on Earth, they arrived at Little Homeschool, and "Nice" Lapis was amazed by this. She was in awe of how it looked. The people looked bewildered at this and saw that there were two Lapides instead of one. Steven then explained what the meaning of it was and then looked at Lapis.
"Something on your mind, Lapis?"
She nodded, "I wish I hadn't done that." she said. "It's just... they reminded me so much of myself." Lapis sighed. "It's infuriating."
It was then that Cheetor went into robot mode and he and Steven both hugged her. "Give yourself a break," said Steven. "You've grown a lot. It's not your fault they're stuck in their ways."
"Yeah." said Cheetor. "Don't beat yourself up, Lapis. You're not to blame."
Lapis smiled a very gentle smile from that statement. "Thanks guys." she said, hugging them back.
Suddenly, "Nice" Lapis warps in. "Uh, so, is this the school you mentioned?" she asked.
Lapis nodded. "Yeah! Welcome." she said to her.
Just then, a beeping came on Cheetor's communicator. "This is Cheetor, go ahead."
"Cheetor, it's Rhinox." said Rhinox's voice of the communicator. "Where are you?"
"We just came back from the planet where the two Lapides were." said Cheetor, telling Rhinox the good news. "Plus, we got the Energon sample too!"
"Excellent!" said Rhinox, feeling glad they did.
Steven answered, "We were just about to head back to the Axalon to drop it off to you."
Just then, Optimus chimed in, "We're not at the base right now." he said. "We just got word from General Hideyoshi Matheson of the Beach City Rescue Alliance."
This had Steven, Cheetor and Lapis stunned. "What does the B.C.R.A. want with you guys?" asked Steven.
"Apparently, Tarantulas has stolen some Energon Cubes from the mines here and he also released the Gem Monster, Gemudar!" replied Garnet.
"GEMUDAR!?" Steven, Lapis and Cheetor all said in unison.
"Big Bot, don't tell me that Tarantulas deliberately unleashed a giant creature upon this planet, did he?!" he asked, in shock.
"He did," said Optimus. "It seems Megatron wants to tame a bunch of them and lay waste to the galaxy!"
Steven was frightened a little bit. "Hang on, we'll meet you at the mining area! But, someone still has to get the Energon sample to the Axalon!"
Then, Lapis thought of an idea. "I'll fly it over there. I'll meet up with you guys later!"
"Acknowledged, over and out!" said Optimus, signing off.
And then, Cheetor decided to do something else, "This is Cheetor calling comm-scout 1, come in comm-1!"
Elsewhere, we see Tigatron in the woods, making his rounds. He then heard the voice of Cheetor calling. "Tigatron here, what's going on?"
Cheetor then chimed in, "The Predacons entered a mining area and one of them, Tarantulas!" he said.
"A mining area, what's in there?" asked Tigatron.
"Apparently, a ton of stable Energon cubes!" Cheetor exclaimed. "But, a Gem Monster was guarding them, a giant one, Gemudar!"
Tigatron was bewildered, "One of the Gem Kaiju is here on this planet!? I'll meet you at the mining area at once, but I better find Bismuth and Peridot too!"
"Good idea!" Cheetor replied.
"Be careful, little cat." Tigatron said to his feline companion.
"I will, big cat." said Cheetor, accepting the tiger Maximal's wisdom. "Cheetor out!" The comm went out and Tigatron raced over to Little Homeschool to find Peridot and Bismuth.
Meanwhile, Optimus and the others all headed toward the mining area and then he landed in front of General Matheson.
"Ah, glad you showed up, Optimus Primal!" said the General. "It's an honor to meet you in person."
"The honor is mine, General Matheson." said Optimus. Just then, the young miner and the female B.C.R.A. operative had gone up the hill and escaped from Gemudar. "Are both alright?" he asked the two.
"I'll live, but I hurt myself while saving Kira." said Malcom, telling them that he risked himself to save her. "She helped me, so I felt I should return the favor."
General Matheson smiled at the boy, "Thank you for saving her." he said, and then he turned over to Kira. "Are you alright, Kira?"
Kira nodded, "Yeah, I'll be fine, thanks to Malcom. Don't worry about me, Dad." she said, shocking the miners.
"DAD!?" they all said in unison.
A female miner said, "Wait, this is your daughter?"
"Affirmative." said the General.
Malcolm was shocked by this, "Whoa! Now that was unexpected." he said, but then he heard something stomping it's way towards Gemudar. "Hey, what are those creatures doing here?"
Optimus looked at where Malcom was pointing and he gasped, "Megatron!" he said. "He's the leader of the Predacons!" he told Malcom.
"Why are they heading towards the monster?"
"Garnet, tell them what we know," said Rhinox.
Garnet uses her crystal projector to show them all her knowledge of this. "A long time ago, the Gem Monsters nearly ravaged the universe, but a being known as a Crystal Titan defeated them and banished them to different places while Gemudar was buried here on Earth."
The Miners and the B.C.R.A. all gasped at this. "He was BURIED here!?"
"Yes, however his crashing here caused a vast storage of Raw Energon to be turned to stable Energon Cubes!" said Dinobot. "And it seems Megatron wants to tame that monster and make it his own!"
They gasped again.
"Why would he do that!?" asked Kira. "That monster is uncontrollable!"
"Good question!" said Rattrap. "But, right now, we gotta stop the Preds and their flunkies before they destroy everything."
Pearl then said, "And we also have to make sure that Megatron does not enslave the population of Earth or turn this planet into his fortress!"
Malcolm, Kira, General Matheson and the Miners were all in shock. "That's his goal?" asked Malcom.
"Yes, sadly!" Optimus said to them. "Megatron has no regard for freedom, which is the right of ALL sentient beings."
"Yeah, so now you know he has to be stopped," said Amethyst.
Kira was in awe at it, "That's the first thing you've said that I agree with." She agreed with her.
"Alright, let's intercept!" said Rhinox.
"Right!" the Maximals and Crystal Gems all said in unison.
Megatron and the Predacons all headed towards Tarantulas and he raced over to them.
"Lord Megatron, I raised him like you instructed!" said Tarantulas.
"Excellent!" Megatron said. "Now with that done, it's time to tame this creature!"
But then, a blast was fired. "Not on our watch, Megatron!"
Megatron snarled, "Blast it all, Optimus Primal!" he said. "Predacons…TERRORIZE!" he yelled, as all the Predacons and Gem predacons went into robot mode. The lot of them all began clashing, lasers blazing and blades clanging. The Miners and the B.C.R.A. watched the whole thing from the top of the hill.
"Oh wow, Megatron has some Gems with him too." said a male miner. "Do you think they've been brainwashed?"
Malcom did not see any sign of corruption in them, "No, they chose to join Megatron."
Garnet blasted at Scorponok, but it reflected at a wall. "Drat!" said Garnet.
"PREDACONS, OBLITERATE THEM!" Megatron ordered.
Terrorsaur then shot his blasts at Rattrap, only for him to shoot back at it.
All the while, Lapis was zooming through the air while Steven was riding on Cheetor's back and jumped off the hill, Steven got his sword and shield out, Cheetor transformed into robot mode and fired his gun at Megatron, hitting him back in the process.
"Cheetor, Steven, Lapis!" Pearl called out, "You made it!"
"Looks like just in the nick of time!" said Cheetor, blasting at Terrorsaur. He then heard a roaring and it turned out to be Gemudar stomping on the ground. "WHOA! That's Gemudar?!" he said.
"Indeed!" said Garnet.
They all rolled out of the way of its blasts. But then, something approached the area, it looked like a VTOL fighter jet, but it had the B.C.R.A. logo on it and its color scheme too. It began firing at Gemudar with its laser cannons.
But it barely had any effect on Gemudar, and he roared in anger *GUROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG* as he continued to rampage, granted it was slow because he had not been out of his cave for so long.
(A/N: That roar means "Who did that, that hurt!?" in English.)
"Whoa! What's that!?"
"This is Strike Winger 1, B.C.R.A. here to help!" said the voice of the pilot. It was a female, and she had long dirty blonde hair while her helmet was on. Gemudar tried to blast it with his breath, but it evaded the attack.
"Phew, that was close." said the co-pilot, who was a male. "I hope we don't get hit."
"Me too, Shadow." said the female pilot. Her co-pilot had short black hair and green eyes.
The Strike Winger managed to get away from its attacks. Gemudar began breathing its blue fire, turning the construction vehicles in the area into stone. But then, as Gemudar got on his two hind legs, the Strike Winger hit its spines and the pilots panicked.
"Oh no, they're gonna crash!" shouted Pearl.
Dinobot roared in anger when he saw that it was Scorponok who helped Gemudar make the plane go out of control. He shot his laser at him, knocking him back.
"You are truly vile, Scorponok!"
"Nice shot!" said Lapis to Dinobot.
"I'll take the compliment." he said, as he continued to battle.
Steven was busy fighting Bluebird and this time Cheetor helped him out. But she threw them off like they were nothing. Jasper then went to join Bluebird and they were both gonna clash their weapons on them, but then, a loud animal roar could be heard, it was Tigatron who charged in, calwing at Jasper and bit Bluebird on the arm.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" the two of them shouted in unison.
"Are you both alright?" he asked.
Optimus saw this, "Tigatron! You came!" he said, glad an ally showed up.
"I've brought some friends along, too!" he said, pointing at Bismuth and Peridot.
"Bismuth, Peridot, you're here too!?" Steven said in excitement.
"Yeppers!" said Bismuth.
"Thought that you guys could use some backup!" Peridot added, as she blasted at DarkFanger.
Amethyst went after Waspinator, while Pearl, Rhinox and Rattrap all continued to fire on the other Predacons, but at the same time, they were also dodging Gemudar's attack.
The Strike Winger crashed onto the ground and the male pilot had to get the female one out. "Jill, Jill get up, we have to abandon the jet!" he called out to her.
She was groggy, but got up and they began to get out of the jet quicker than before, General Matheson urged them, "Get out of there, hurry!" he said.
They ran as fast as they could, but Gemudar stomped on the wing of the jet, rendering it broken. Then he made his way to kill the pilots, but Steven powered up and prevented him from doing that, "You guys get away from here! I'll stall him!"
"Who are you!?" asked the male pilot.
"The names Universe, Steven Universe!" he told them, and fought back against Gemudar's girth.
"Hurry!" he urged.
The two pilots followed his instructions and ran away. Jasper was about to hit Steven while he was occupied, only for Rattrap to shoot her in the chest with his gun.
"Damned rodent!" said Jasper, now turning her attention to Rattrap.
But just as Gemudar was about to crush Steve, it roared. *GUROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG* And then Steven began to feel like he was about to be stepped on.
(A/N: That next roar meant, "Steven Universe, eh? No matter, I will destroy you!")
But then, a bigger laser blast shot at Gemudar and this time, it left a burn on him, causing him to back away and Steven saw what it was.
"Hey, anyone out there in need of a newly made B.C.R.A. Strike Winger fighter jet?" asked a male voice, as a bigger fighter jet appeared, but this one could fit more than 2 people. It had a large cannon in the middle.
"Drake, guys, you made it!" said the female pilot, or Jill, as she was called.
"It's Strike Winger 2!" said Shadow. "They finished retrofitting it into Hyper Mode!" He felt amazed by this.
Inside the jet, three pilots saw what was going on. "Steven, you alright?"
"Yeah! Thanks to you!" he said to them.
The pilot in the front, was a little hefty, but he was proud of his stature, "Alright Drake, time to send this monster back to the stone age!"
"You got it!" said Drake, agreeing to this. "Yellow Maximal, identify yourself."
"The name's Cheetor, what can I do for you?" Cheetor replied.
"This is Drake Harvikson of the Beach City Rescue Alliance, we need you to help us defeat this monster and we'll also help you with Megatron." said Drake.
"Alright!" said Cheetor.
"Vector Cannon, fire!" Drake said, pressing the fire button on his throttle and firing a yellow laser at Gemudar, making it crawl away.
Megatron fired again, this time in frustration towards Steven. Only for Garnet to deflect his blast. "RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Megatron snarled in fury. "YOU WON'T STAND IN THE WAY OF MY CONQUEST!" he yelled.
"Think again, Megatron!" said Steven, feeling angry as ever and then he decided to do something about, "Garnet, shall we fuse?" he asked.
"We shall." said Garnet, as the two began to fuse together. And just like that, the Predacons were all shocked at this, Garnet and Steven had become Sunstone, a fusion Crystal Gem with a fire-shaped head, bright orange skin with normal orange patches, and two sets of arms: one bulky and muscular with the other slender. The smaller pair can often be seen displaying peace signs or shakas, demonstrating their laid-back nature.
They wear a pair of dark red shades, covering their eyes, Steven's salmon-pink shirt with the sleeves rolled up, Garnet's gloves at the lower arms, Steven's jeans as shorts with a red pocket on the left leg and a blue pocket on the right leg, and sandals. With Steven's clothing change, Sunstone currently wears Steven's black shirt with the pink varsity jacket covering the upper arms, and still keeps Garnet's gloves and rings on the lower arms.
Megatron was shocked, but at the same time, unamused. "So you think your fusion will be enough to defeat me!?" he taunted.
"I don't think, I know!" Sunstone said, as she charged at Megatron with all her might.
Sunstone punched Megatron so hard that he was sent flying, but he stumbled a little getting back to his feet. Next, Sunstone grabbed his T-Rex tail and used it as a claw to grab Megatron by the waist. "You will pay for that, yesssss!" Megatron yelled.
"I don't think so, purple face!" Sunstone insulted the Predacon leader. Next, she spun Megatron around with his claw and the spin was a hundred times per second. And after the spin, it caused Megatron to collide with Jasper and *WHAM* they were both down for the count.
"Ugh…" Megatron groaned, as he bammed his head on the ground.
"Oh yeah!" said Sunstone.
She then rushed over to the others, and blasted at the Predacons, knocking them onto the pile up with Megatron on the bottom.
Cheetor saw this, "Whoa, Steven and Garnet fused!" he said. "Ultra Gear!"
"Yeah dude," Amethyst felt in awe at this. "Been a while since we saw Sunstone!"
"Mind if we help ya?" she asked.
"Much appreciated!" said Peridot.
It was then that she climbed up Gemudar and made it all the way to the top of the monster's head and then grabbed the horn. "Alright, Tigatron, Rhinox, Lapis, fire away!" she said.
"Alright!" they said in unison, all firing their blasts at once and blew off the Gem Monsters horn.
"Yeah, the horn is gone!" said Kira, as she watched.
Sunstone then looked at Strike Winger 2, "Drake, it's all you!" she said.
"Right away!" said Drake, firing the big cannon and this time it was jacked up to maximum power, and the Maximals and Crystal Gems all fired their blasts together and the force of this caused Gemudar to fall down and *KABOOOOOOOMMMMMMM!* he exploded right in front of their eyes.
The B.C.R.A. and the Miners were in awe at this and they all clapped in celebration for the Maximals and the Crystal Gems. Inside Strike Winger 2, Drake and his fellow pilots cheered in victory. "YES!" He said, "It worked!"
Another pilot, one who had a Native American look to himself said, "Nice going, dude. You da man!"
"I'm the man!" said Drake, as the two of them helped land the jet.
The Maximals and the Crystal Gems took out who was left of the Predacons and Megatron saw the destruction of Gemudar.
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" he said in failure. "Predacons, Retreat! BEAST MODE!" The Predacons all transformed into their Beast Modes and retreated back to their base.
The Maximals went to the Miners and the B.C.R.A. and they all commended each other greatly for this. "General Matheson, thank you for allowing us to help you," said Optimus.
"You're welcome," said the general. "Now, allow my crew to introduce themselves." the lot of them nodded in unison.
"Jillian Hart-Fielding, but you can call me Jill." said the blonde.
"Samuel 'Shadow' Argent, at your service!" said the male pilot, he revealed that he had some red streaks in his hair.
"My name is Devon Rowe, and I'm Akomish," he said. "That's Native American."
"And you can call me Felix Lousteau, and I'm a science whiz." he said. "You've already met Kira Matheson and Drake Harvikson.' he pointed to them.
"The cannon worked well after retrofitting, great work team." said the General.
However, Shadow then said, "But still, this isn't the last Gem Monster." he had a deep tone about him this time. "There will be others."
"Agreed," said Dinobot.
General Matheson nodded, "I know, it's been quiet here for millenniums." he said. "But after this, I'll consider setting up branches of the B.C.R.A. all around the globe, and I would like to work with you Optimus Primal."
"Consider it done," he said to the General.
The General went over to Malcom. "Malcom Rutherford IV, right?"
Malcolm nodded, "Yeah?"
"I know about you quitting being a miner, so how about you join the B.C.R.A.?" asked Hideyoshi.
Malcom was in awe at this, "It would be an honor sir!" he said, saluting him. But then, he still felt a little bit of pain in him from when he tripped. Kira caught him, "Thanks, Kira."
"You're welcome." she said, as she blushed.
"You be good to him, okay sweetie?" the general asked his daughter.
Kira nodded, "You know it dad."
Rattrap was happy for them, as were the others. "Hey, don't worry General," he said. "You saw how this one was a piece of chrome plated cake." he said.
"Barely a challenge!" added Amethyst. "You don't see us trembling at the thought of monsters!" They all laughed with joy as the Maximals headed back to the base.
However, little did they know, Tarantulas had taken a little bit of Gemudar's remains and brought it back to his lab for analysis.

Me: Well, that was good, wasn't it? Gemudar has been defeated.
The Amazing Ghost Musician: Totally, broski! Although I'm not gonna lie, this chapter was a GIANT pain to get done, and I hate it when it takes us 3 weeks to a month just to get one chapter done.
Me: Me too, but that could be a way of telling us not to burn ourselves out with one story. And I have a feeling that the Maximals have not seen the last of the Gem Monsters.
The Amazing Ghost Musician: No freakin' way! I have a big feeling that there's gonna be one or more Gem Monsters out there, and they'll be a waaaaaaaay bigger challenge for the Maximals and the Crystal Gems.
Me: Yeah, and without a doubt, the Maximals, Crystal Gems and the B.C.R.A. are going to have their hands full with them, but maybe that Gem Titan will return.
The Amazing Ghost Musician: Well we really don't know for now, but as time goes on, we shall find out what'll come next. Anyway, I think it's time we wrap this thing up. You wanna explain to our readers the plot for the next chapter?
Me: Sure, the next chapter is based on the Beast Wars episode "Victory". Megatron and the Predacons have a dysfunctional argument over an Energon Crystal and then an explosion happens and the Maximals and Crystal Gems believe that the Predacons have perished.
The Amazing Ghost Musician: However, something is not right about what's happening. Garnet senses that the Predacons might be setting up a trap, or worse, they might be waiting for the Maximals to be gone so they can take down the Crystal Gems and conquer planet Earth.
Me: And so, the Maximals and Crystal Gem have to fight their way through this oddity. However, Dinobot feels like he should not go back to Cybertron, because he did help steal the Golden Disk.
The Amazing Ghost Musician: Well considering that Dinobot was last known on Cybertron to be a Predacon Criminal, he would have to be the only Predacon left alive to face trial for his crimes.
Me: Yes, but maybe this could be his shot at redemption.
The Amazing Ghost Musician: That's all gonna depend on if the Maximals will make it to Cybertron or not, and the Crystal Gems will be going along with them to set a portal so that the Crystal Gems can transport from Earth to Cybertron.
Me: Yeppers. Oh, by the way, that someone who wants to see you is here.
The Amazing Ghost Musician: Please tell me who that might be
Me: Alright, you can come in now.
(The door opened and it was revealed to be a woman who they had not seen before.)
?: Hey boys, I'm Alexis Ryokaze. It's nice to meet you, Ghost.
The Amazing Ghost Musician: I'm sorry to be rude, Ms. Ryokaze, but I've never heard about you before in my life.
Alexis: Well, Wolf here has told me about you and I admit, you're even better than how he described.
Me: I know this is sudden, but she is gonna be in another story, Kamen Rider Lycanna, she's the main Rider and will be a new love-interest in the story for Tsukune Aono. Plus, she wanted to meet you. Ain't she hot? Plus, she's taken a liking to you.
The Amazing Ghost Musician: (saw her ample cleavage) HOLY SHIT! I feel just like Issei did when he saw Rias's naked titties for the first time.
