While the Titans were getting better acquainted with their new home/headquarters in Royal Woods, Lynn Jr had managed to get herself an opportunity she did not see coming; a transfer to Gotham Academy. Since her family was not gonna be the same anymore, and she felt like she was in an athletic slump, Mr. Wayne had this arranged in the hopes of helping her get out of the funk she was in.

He also saw some potential in her for being a Titan, but that's nothing he would force anyone unless they would accept it.

Bruce Wayne does have a knack for collecting uppity, troubled children and making better people out of them.

Speaking of which, Lynn would also find herself getting accommodated with Wayne Manor, since Bruce also had that set up for her as well.

"This is way too good to be true!" She said as she found herself at the front door of the Manor with Bruce and Alfred helping her with her things.

"Wouldn't be the first time I heard that." Bruce admitted. "Why don't you go meet with Barbara and she'll show you around? We'll take care of your bags?"

With that in mind, Lynn walked through the front entrance of the Mansion and saw by the staircase a young woman with red hair and glasses. Barbara Gordan, daughter of Commissioner Gordan, a good friend and pupil of Wayne and the rest of those whom they consider family.

"You must be Lynn. It's nice to meet you." Barbara said, extending a hand which Lynn gratefully accepted.

"Thanks, uh...who are you?"

"My name's Barbara. I'm living here with you for the time being. Come on, I'll show you around."

And thus began Lynn's tour of Wayne Manor. Safe to say that Barbara had to keep her from touching a LOT of stuff while showing her around. The girl just couldn't keep her hands to herself with this new and exciting development in her life. Now that wouldn't be so bad, it's kinda of expected since not many people get this kind of opportunity...except it was freaking annoying for a girl Lynn's age from Bruce told Barbara how she usually acts.

"Is this what that kid, Lincoln, had to deal with?" Barbara asked herself internally. "I honestly don't blame him for running away from a girl like this."

Meanwhile, back at Royal Woods, Lincoln was babysitting his little sister, Lara, when he sneezed.

"Huh. Someone must be thinking about me."

Lynn saw just about everything there was to see inside the Manor, and she tried to make it a little more interesting by having fun with things that weren't toys. She did it so that she wouldn't get bored, b that included a lot of parkour and acrobatics on things like chandeliers, railings, tables, and bookshelves. All of which, she may have broken in one way or another. Just like how Lincoln had tried to do one time, Barbara had to set some ground rules for Lynn to follow...if she could. If not, she didn't see any reason as to why Bruce and Alfred couldn't whip her into shape.

"And those are the rules for the kitchen." She explained to Lynn, who considered it that the Kitchen was considered 'Alfred's Domain'. "Bruce has a lifetime ban after accidentally setting a few meals on fire."

Lynn got a chuckle out of that. "Heh heh. That is pretty funny. Is there anything else to know about this place?"

"Well, there is the security system. But, we only arm it at night, so it's not a big deal."

"Cool." And later on, she was shown her brand-new room, and it was much bigger than the room she had back home, with a nice view from a window, an extra large bed, some bookshelves at the side, a walk-in closet, and a dresser on the side. It had everything. "I never knew I was gonna have a room like this. It's bigger than the one Lucy and I...shared."

Seeing where this was going, Barbara had to've asked "Do you still think about her as a sister?"

"I know...I treated her unfairly...heck, I treated everyone unfairly. And that's putting it mildly. I never meant any harm, but I thought they would understand...I just took it too far."

"It's good that you see that way." Barbara told her. "We've all experienced something like that, one way or another. It's normal, and gives you a chance to readjust yourself, to be better than who were before."

Lynn did like the sound of that, but something else didn't slip her mind.

"You said 'we'. How many others has Bruce Wayne taken in?"

Barbara had to think about it for a second answering "...Six?"

"He's adopted six kids before?!"

"Yep. And they've all grown up so fast." Barbara replied. "He has a family portrait of them at the stairwell."

Lynn did see that, and portrait of Bruce and some of the kids he's taken in before; Dick Grayson, Jason Todd, Tim Drake, Cassandra Cain, and Damian Wayne. But that was only five.

"He's been meaning to get it updated."

"Huh." Lynn took her moment to process all this.

And it was at that moment that Bruce showed up to see the girls at the stairs.

"Ah, I trust that you showed her everything, Barbara?" He asked

"All that there was to show her at least." She replied. "If you need me, I'm gonna be heading out."

"Alright then. But be back before dinner." Bruce said to the exiting Barbara before turning to Lynn, who was looking up to him expectingly. "...I've said this before to the others, and I'm getting kinda used to it. I know it's a big change in your life, we're gonna help you through this."

"...Well, you're the kid collector, so you must have years of practice helping kids like me out." Lynn remarked

"Not how I would put it, but yes. I wouldn't have taken it upon myself to look after you if I didn't feel confident I could help you."

That did make Lynn smile as she said "...Thank you, Mister Wayne."

"Please. Just call me Bruce."

And for the next few weeks, Lynn got acquainted with Gotham pretty well; heck, she fitted in with no problem. Since Gothamites were not exactly the best of characters in some cases, she gained a little bit of street smarts and already made it known that she was not to be messed with. Gotham Academy was not too bad for Lynn either. Sure, it was a Private School for Gotham's Elite Children, there were said to be mysterious things that happened around its campus from time to time and it had been a victim of circumstances that was Gotham's crime spree, but it was still standing, and at least one of the safest places in the city...though, that wasn't saying much.

To Lynn, the only downside was that, because it was a boarding school, she had to do a LOT of work, and that was pretty boring for her.

"Ugggh. This is gonna be the death of me." She said while lugging a whole bunch of books. "I can't believe this lame school doesn't have that many athletic activities! All that they have is boring stuff from the UK...how am I supposed to learn how to ride a horse?"

"Well, well, well. If it isn't Wayne's new brat."

Sighing after hearing that, Lynn turned to see that she was gonna be dealing with this school's typical bully who's looking to make her look like a fool. Dropping the books to the ground, Lynn fully turned to face them with her fist clenched.

"Bruce Wayne must have a real problem with taking in punks like you. His freako son didn't understand the rules around here. But maybe, you'll do just fine."

With a deadpan expression, Lynn cracks her knuckles and the rest is history after that. A little while later, Bruce was called to the school's office to hear what happened and decided to take Lynn home early. She knew that she was gonna get a talking-to as she found herself facing her new guardian.

"Okay. I know we set some ground rules for the house, but some of those also apply at school, Lynn." He said. "It was your first day and I felt forced to take you home early."

"The guy was talking smack about you, me, and even your son! I just shut him up before he could continue to run his mouth!"

"There are better ways to handle that sort of situation. They're

"...Yeah. You're probably right."

"Good." And that is when they both heard some beeping and Batman pulled out his phone, which looked heavily custom-made to Lynn. It was not like any phone she ever saw as Bruce quickly slipped it back into his pocket. "We're gonna have to talk about this later. I have a business to handle."

Then he stormed out, leaving Lynn a little confused. But then, there was something she remembered her sister Lisa say about Bruce Wayne.

"Didn't she say he was..." Not even finishing that sentence as her mind was set on confirming her suspicion, Lynn got up and took after Wayne. However, he seemed to have vanished when he left Lynn alone. She couldn't find him anywhere as Barbara came by to see what was up.

"Something wrong, Lynn?" She asked, and the athletic girl thought about it for a second. If Barbara was a close friend of Bruce Wayne, could she also be in on his supposed secret?

"Uh...do you happen to know where Bruce went?"

"He just stepped out." Barbara answered. "Very important business at work keeps him moving. You know how it is."

But then Lynn said "Really? Because I don't think I heard the door open, and there was a weird beep on his phone I heard before he left."

"He's...just a fast guy. I was going to catch up with him later."

"Really? Would it be okay if I join you?"

Barbara tried to keep it cool as she could tell that Lynn was suspicious. "...I'm not sure you'd be interested. It's all boring stuff he's dealing with. Besides, don't you have schoolwork to do?"

"That could wait. I want in on what I think is going on here."

"What do you mean?"

Lynn just brought it out there and asked "...I need to know. Is Bruce Wayne really Batman?"

Instead of denying it, or even doing something as crazy as trying to knock Lynn out, Barbara only asked "Has it become that obvious?"

"It was actually my sister who figured it out." Lynn said honestly. "I just remembered how she let it slip before."

"Your sister sounds like a smart girl."

"So, is it really true then?!" Lynn said with stars in her eyes, excited to hear about all this new stuff she kept hearing about. Barbara only rolled her eyes with a smile on her face.

"Come with me." She said, taking Lynn somewhere else in the Manor, the study. There, was the most iconic entrance to the lair of the Batman, which Barbara had access to and soon gave Lynn access herself. The Loud Girl was at awe by the sight of fabled Batcave. Not many people get to see such a wonderous sight as a Superheroes very own layer, and she took it pretty well.

"THIS IS THE COOLEST THING IN THE HISTORY OF FOREVER!" She yelled out, and it echoed all throughout the cave.

"Yep." Barbara said as she walked over to one of the costume cases, specifically one for Batgirl. "Doesn't really get that a lot, if you can believe it."

"Wait...YOU'RE BATGIRL?!"

"I've been taking it easy since was concerned for my well-being." Barbara admitted as she took the costume and went behind the changing area. "As much as I appreciate him for caring, I've been meaning to get back out there for a while."

Lynn couldn't help herself as she started to beg on her knees to Barbara "Please! You gotta take me with you! I could really be of great help to you and Batman!"

Barbara knew that question was coming. It was discussed with Bruce that he saw potential in Lynn, but wouldn't this be too early?

"You're not trained for this sort of stuff, Lynn. It's bad enough that you figured it out, but we can't just put you in danger like this."

"I can take care of myself! I'm cut out for this kind of stuff! You gotta believe me!" Lynn yelled before looking down. "...I need to be a hero. I want to be up there, with my br-...with Lincoln, and Lucy. And the rest of the kids who keep finding out that they're the children of Superheroes. I know it's about a lot more than that...but it want to use this as a way of finding closure and learning more about myself, what I'm capable of."

Thinking about all this, Batgirl knew that Bruce would've told her sooner or later. And even though she had no training, Lynn was already able to hold her own. As long as she was kept under Barbara's wing for now, she would be fine. But first things first...

"...You're gonna need a costume." She replied, making Lynn light up.
