Takes place around the end when Carter is seeing Jared.

Carter was stuck in a holding cell being asked thousands of questions that she couldn't answer. They wanted to know who was dealing, why all the murders happen to be connected to our parties, who all was there and it was a never ending battle. I was growing anxious and scared til my mom came through the door demanding what was going on!

"Detective, I believe this isn't in your territory. Why are you here?" Detective Dougherty asked.

"For one, you're questioning a minor. Second, what are you even questioning her for?" Elizabeth, demanded.

"We picked her up at a party, we assumed she was of age. Especially since she and her friend was running the operation. My apologies! As for the questioning, their parties are linked to the five deaths from drugs." He, explained.

"You realize anything she told you can't be admissible now?" She, told him.

"We didn't know she was underage. She had an ID, stating she was 21 years of age." He, explained.

"Is she being charged or held?" She, asked.

"Not yet." He, stated.

"Then we are leaving, Carter." Elizabeth motioned Carter towards Lori, while she hanged back. "Listen, you know she had nothing to do with this ring. I don't appreciate you, acting like she is the perpetrator." She, said.

"Now would be a good time to lawyer up. Unlike your daughter we have a witness claiming she was the seller. From detective to detective." He, told her.

"Jared? Is it Jared?" She, exclaimed.

"Now detective, you know I can't give you that information." He said, winking.

Elizabeth, Carter, Lori arrive at Elizabeth's house after a rather silent ride. Carter goes straight to her room, leaving Elizabeth and Lori alone.

"Look, she wouldn't do this. I know her!" Lori, stated.

"I know. We just need away to prove it though." Elizabeth, said.

"I could go down there, make him confess." Lori, told her.

"As much as I would love to see you go to jail, you can't. Carter cares too much for you!" Elizabeth, explained.

"Do we know, he was dealing?" Lori, questioned.

"Yeah, we do! He is the witness against Carter." Elizabeth, told her.

"She, will do hard time for this! I can't let her go down for something like this... maybe, we staged it? We could go confront him together and I could steal your unloaded gun... he won't know it's unloaded." Lori, questioned.

"That... may be a good idea!" Elizabeth, said.

Obviously Jared gets tricked like in the show. Now, back to the story.

Elizabeth and Lori return to Elizabeth's.

"Carter!" Elizabeth, hollers.

no answer.

"Let's just walk up. She's probably asleep or processing." Lori, suggested.

They walk up to Carters room to speak with her.

knock knock!

"Carter it's Lori and I, can we come in?" Elizabeth, asked.

"It's not locked!" Carter, replied.

"Hey!" They say in unison.

"I know I fucked up. Believe me when I say Jared and I had nothing to do with this!" Carter, exclaimed.

The two adults sigh*

"Carter, he ratted you out. More as he's blaming you and solely you!" Elizabeth, plainly told her.

"Would you stop! You never believe..." Carter started til Lori jumped in.

"CARTER! What are you doing? I know you resent this woman but, she is your mom! None, of this is her fault! Listen, she's telling you the truth." Lori, blankly said.

Carter sat there puzzled not knowing what to say and partly not believing but, Lori never lied to her. "Mom... please tell me you're joking." Carter, said with a whisper and a tear.

"Oh, Carter baby! I wish I was." Lori, stated.

"He sold you out! He gave you up, to save his butt. We got him to confess tonight under surveillance the both of us. Look, I am deeply sorry this has happened but, you're clear." Elizabeth, explained.

Carter immediately started sobbing. "No, you got it wrong... he wouldn't. No, he didn't sell the drugs it was Ben." Carter, sobbed.

"Honey, he confused to having Ben sell for him. Over a credit fraud." Elizabeth, told her.

Bh this point Carter was a mess she just sobbing til she screamed at them. "GET OUT!"

The pair left her alone for hours the entire time they could hear her sobs.

"Elizabeth? I mean nothing by it. Please let me comfort her, please." Lori, pleaded.

"No, be my guest!" Elizabeth, told her.

Lori enters Carters room. "Carter, baby are you alright?"

"No, I am not alright." Carter, said.

"Look you made a mistake and gave your heart to the wrong guy. But, trust me it will get easier and you will find a new guy." Lori, said trying to comfort her.

"I know." Carter, said coldly and blankly.

"Ok. Is there something you want to talk about?" Lori, questioned.

Carter almost started to cry again. " What's going to happen to him?"

"I'm not sure. I'm guessing he will go to jail for awhile." Lori, answered.

knock knock!

"Can I... May I join you guys?" Elizabeth, asked.

Carter nodded in agreement.

"He will must likely go to jail for 20years." Elizabeth, told her.

"Baby, what's wrong? I know you, your being to quiet. You always put your word in. Tell me what's wrong!" Lori, questioned.

"For the first time I don't know how to say it, not even to you." Carter, answered honestly while glancing at Lori.

"Well maybe just let it out... you're pretty good at giving your opinion." Elizabeth, said.

"It's not a matter of giving my opinion." Carter, stated.

"Is it worse than the Max deal?" Lori, asked.

Carter nodded in agreement.

"Max deal?" Elizabeth, questioned.

"She lost her V-card to him, she bleed a little and thought he hurt her." Lori, explained.

"Mom! That didn't need to be explained!" Carter whined.

"Sorry! She's your mom though. She's the one that should've had these moments with you." Lori, told her.

"Hey, we've all been there in the sense." Elizabeth, said.

"Great to know." Carter, spoke.

"Ok. I give. What's worse than the Max case? He didn't force you to you know?" Lori, questioned.

"No! It was always mutual. Can we not discuss this?" Carter, asked.

"I can't stand to see you sobbing it's been hours. From what I'm learning you're not the sobbing type. We just want to help you. I promise whatever it is... no judgement and we won't be mad." Elizabeth, said. Lori nodded in agreement.

"It's just... I really trusted him and he played and used me. I was decoy from the beginning. He knew what he was using me for. And...I can't. Carter, started before crying again.

Lori embraced her and told her to continued...

"He.. I mean I'm... I was stupid. I wasn't..." Carter just couldn't get the words out.

Carter caught her breath and continued. " I'm knocked up by a guy who was going to lie and have me thrown in jail to save his own ass." Carter angrily spoke.

There was a moment of silence mainly from disbelief and shock.

"What do I do? I can't raise a kid by myself and the father is not even going to be in the picture... do I even tell him?" Carter, questioned.

"First, thank you for trusting us. Second, you're not stupid. Third, you have all of us and that includes Lori." Elizabeth, said.

"Oh, oh Carter. Baby, I can't imagine how or what you're going through. This isn't your fault. He was 25-26 years old and he knew better." Lori, said.

"Wait, he was older than 21?" Elizabeth, questioned.

" I can't say everything will be alright but, I promise to do whatever I can to help you... I love you!" Lori, said.

"Love you, more!" Carter, said.

"Not, possible." Lori, said.

"Yes, possible!" Carter,said.
