Chapter 43 End Of The Winning Streak

After Mythic Blade had prevailed over Ocean Shine, the next two competing teams were announced.

"First up to compete today are the current world champions back to defend their crown, let's give a warm welcome to the G-Revolutions!"

From one side of the stadium, the G-Revolutions made their way in, in a secure fashion to battle and win.

"And their opponents, this team has been on a winning streak thus far with four straight wins, they are the Blitzkrieg Boyz!"

The Blitzkrieg Boyz made their way in and sat down opposite the G-Revolutions.

"I'll go up this time around."

"Then I'll go."

"That's good, Kai and Ray."

"In the event of a third round I'll head up."

"Perhaps, I could head up."

"Or wait, chief, what about me?"

"Tyson, Max, Daichi, it's best to see how well we get on in the two rounds, if Kai and Ray win you won't need to but if one loses that one will need to."

"Oh right."

Kai made his way up to the closed platform where he stood waiting.

"Kai is stepping up to represent the G-Revolutions, he's one tough blader with his Dranzer bit beast."

"Who will the Blitzkrieg Boyz send to counter?"

It wasn't long before Spencer made his way up to face Kai.

"The Blitzkrieg Boyz are sending Spencer to the dish, Kai might have his work cut out for him as Spencer's bit beast Seaborg is a natural water spirit."

"Let's see what stadium they'll be facing off in today."

As Kai and Spencer faced one another, the platform concealing the stadium separated, revealing a stadium that resembled the Central Cemetery with three hundred and thirty thousand graves and tombs.

Luckily, there was enough space for the bladers to launch their blades.

Kai readied Dranzer and was poised to launch. At the same time Spencer was ready with Seaborg.

"3,2,1, Let It Rip!"

Kai swiftly launched Dranzer into the grassy space between the graves, Spencer followed suit all too quickly with Seaborg.

"Dranzer, attack!"

"Go, Seaborg!"

Dranzer and Seaborg shot towards one another and clashed hard. Sparks flew as the metal connected.

"Dranzer, push it back!"

With a hard push, Dranzer shoved Seaborg back authoritatively.

"Slam, Dranzer!"

Heeding Kai's command, Dranzer slammed Seaborg squarely into one of the tombs.

"Keep on the attack, Dranzer!"

Dranzer repeatedly struck Seaborg with fast and hard blows.

"Seaborg, slam now!"

With a switch of momentum, Seaborg heeded Spencer's command and slammed Dranzer back.

"Seaborg, multi slam!"

In seconds, Seaborg fiercely attacked Dranzer, hitting with intense ferocity.

"Go, Seaborg!"

"Fight back, Dranzer!"

With a fierce hit, Seaborg shoved Dranzer away but Dranzer heeded Kai's command, shooting back with a valour rarely seen.

"Dranzer, multi slam!"

Dranzer went into overdrive, slashing ferociously at Seaborg, Kai was back in the driver's seat.

"Seaborg, counterattack!"

Once again, Spencer reclaimed control, Seaborg slammed the door on Kai's attack and hit Dranzer fiercely.

"Dranzer, attack back!"

Dranzer fought back with even more ferocity, hitting Seaborg with intense fierceness and speed.

"Go, Dranzer, attack!"

Instantly, Dranzer ferociously slammed Seaborg sky high, clean into a tomb which broke on impact.

"Seaborg, attack now!"

Seaborg shot through the many graves straight at Dranzer.

"Dranzer, attack!"

Dranzer and Seaborg clashed in the middle again, sparks flew through the air.

"Seaborg, Stramolyu!"

The massive yellow and purple sperm whale appeared with a roar, it leaped preparing to consume Dranzer.

"He's concentrating on his attack, so his defence is wide open, Dranzer, Spiral Fireball!"

Kai's blade was encased in blue flame, Dranzer shrieked and shot towards Seaborg, breaking through its special attack and slamming it clear of the stadium.

"Kai is the winner."

Dranzer returned to Kai's open hand and Spencer picked up Seaborg.

"Thanks for a good battle, Spencer."

"You're welcome, Kai, I enjoyed facing you again."

"Good luck."

"You as well."

They shook hands and parted ways.

Before long, Ray stepped up, replacing Kai.

"Ray is stepping up for the second battle, his bit beast Driger is the coolest cat in town."

Ray waited patiently for his opponent, before long Ian approached and took his position opposite.

"Ian is representing the Blitzkrieg Boyz this time, his Wyborg bit beast can tangle you up."

Ray and Ian readied their blades and were poised to launch.

"3,2,1, Let It Rip!"

Ray launched Driger right into the stadium, Ian did the same with Wyborg.

"Driger, attack!"

"Go, Wyborg!"

Driger and Wyborg slammed each other hard, sparks hit the air as the blades collided.

"Driger, slam now!"

With a single shove, Driger slammed Wyborg back with authority.

"Driger, keep attacking!"

Driger struck Wyborg with ferocious blows, moving fast and hard with each one.

"Wyborg, attack now!"

Wyborg gained a burst of power, it slammed Driger back hard and fiercely.

"Wyborg, multi slam!"

"Driger, counterattack!"

Despite taking a beating from Wyborg, Driger mounted a serious counterattack, slashing fast, hard and brutally.

"No way!"

"Keep on the attack, Driger, slam now!"

Wyborg flew through the air as Driger slammed it hard. Ian was shocked at Ray's power.

"Driger, multi slam!"

Heeding Ray's command, Driger slashed away at Wyborg, pushing it back with every blow.

"Keep going, Driger, maintain the attack!"

"Wyborg, fight back!"

While Driger maintained its attack, Wyborg also struck back, the metal clanged as the blades tore into each other.

"Wyborg, slam!"

"Driger, you slam too!"

Driger and Wyborg slammed one another straight in the middle, the force was so much that both were knocked back.

"Driger, full force attack!"

Listening to Ray's command, Driger went into overdrive, it ferociously attacked with great brutality and resilience.

"Wyborg, Sand Bind!"

A huge snake appeared, it coiled round Driger, trapping it in its coils. Ian's blade continued to drill into Driger.

"Driger, Thunderslash!"

Driger gained new strength and the white tiger appeared, with a mighty roar it slashed its great claws across Wyborg and broke free. Yellow lightning surrounded Ray's blade as it slammed Wyborg clear, knocking it to Ian's feet.

"Ian is out, Ray is the winner."

Driger returned to Ray's open hand and he congratulated Ian on a good battle.

The Blitzkrieg Boyz were gobsmacked at their first loss.

"Four straight wins and now we lose"

"We'll do better next time."

"The important thing is that we enjoyed ourselves."

"I agree."

The G-Revolutions were rejoicing at a great victory.

"Well done, Kai and Ray, now we're back in the running."

"Thank you, Chief."

"What an upset, the Blitzkrieg Boyz, who have dominated the world championships with four straight wins have now been defeated and the G-Revolutions take the round, join us tomorrow to witness a mighty round between the Venom Snakes take on White Tiger X in a powerful clash."
