Chapter 67 Arrival In Asheville
Following the layover in Charlotte, all twelve planes touched down in Asheville, North Carolina at Asheville Regional Airport. The planes were towed to exit tunnels which were connected to their doors.
"Good evening, everybody, we are now in Asheville, North Carolina. Thank you for flying with American Airlines, I hope you enjoy your stay and we look forward to flying with you again in the future. To those who are taking part in the Beyblade World Championships semi finals, I wish you all the very best of luck."
After the farewell speech, the G-Revolutions stood up and made their way out of the plane. However, they had to get through a long line of passengers before they could reach baggage reclaim.
Gradually, the queue died down and the G-Revolutions managed to get through. Afterwards, they found themselves in the terminal where they would collect their baggage. All the other bladers were reclaiming their baggage, despite the fact that only half the twelve teams were competing now. They also saw Tala and Luna with their arms round each other's waists, Oliver and Cordelia were doing the exact same thing.
"Who are we facing here, chief?"
"The PPB All Starz, Tyson."
"Too bad it's an elimination round."
"Yes, Tyson, we'll have to give our all to stay alive."
"That's very true."
"What's going on with Oliver and Cordelia?"
"They're a couple now."
"How do you know?"
"They got together in Scotland."
"I'm sure the Majestics and Mythic Blade aren't taking too well to it."
Once everyone had reclaimed their baggage, they all went to the taxi park to enter the taxis. The taxi drivers put the baggage in the boots and closed them.
One by one, the six competing teams and six spectating teams entered the taxis. All the taxis were seven seaters and Tala and Luna hugged for a long time before sadly separating. Oliver and Cordelia also hugged before entering the taxis.
The taxis would be driving to the Omni Grove Park Inn where the bladers would stay.
"The PPB All Starz are definitely going to be tough."
"We'll be able to handle them."
"Who should battle this time?"
"Max and Ray should go up this time."
"Who will we face though?"
"They'll send whoever they want to send."
"The PPB All Starz are a strong team and they've done quite well in the tournament so far."
"Yes well that means we'll just have to be stronger than them."
The G-Revolutions were extremely tired but excited at the same time, especially because the PPB All Starz were waiting to strike. However, neither side was prepared for the other yet.
"Who do you think they'll put against Max and Ray?"
"Well, Steve and Eddy both lost to Claude and Mathilda but they're still strong bladers, so it could well be them. However, there's also the chance that they could face us but then again, Michael, Emily or Rick also present a challenge."
The knowledge of their potential opponents made the G-Revolutions feel confident, especially in that they knew who they could face and what the challenge could be. However, there was also every chance of their defeat and elimination.
The taxi journey went on for what seemed a long time. However, they soon reached the Omni Grove Park Inn. Upon reaching the hotel, they were all exhausted and ready to rest. Everyone helped the taxi drivers unload the taxis before going to their hotel lobby.
In the hotel lobby, each of the captains was handed their room keys. After receiving their room keys, the tired bladers made their way up to their bedrooms to unpack and get some sleep to be ready for an early start the next day.
