Chapter 70 Le Croix's Last Battle

After the G-Revolutions had secured their place in the final, just four teams remained and that would go down to three.

"Good morning, everybody, yesterday we saw the fall of the PPB All Starz and today we shall witness another clash of two of the four last teams. Today we shall witness a very exciting clash between two very well known teams, one of those is a team who are very royal and legendary, let's welcome the Majestics!" DJ Jazzman announced.

The Majestics were swift to make their way into the stadium, they sat down on the bench and waited for their opponents.

"Their opponents are a team who are strong, powerful and wild, please welcome Le Croix!"

Le Croix entered the stadium from the other side, they settled opposite the Majestics but neither team moved an inch or a centimetre.

Soon, Oliver stood up and made his way to the platform.

"The Majestics are sending Oliver to the dish and he is a hard shaker with his Unicolyon bit beast's Earth Shake attack!"

"Good luck, Ollie, give it everything you've got!" Oliver heard his girlfriend Cordelia yell.

"Thanks, Cordelia, I'll make you proud!"

Oliver stood at the platform and waited for his opponent.

Soon, Aaron walked up and faced Oliver.

"Aaron is first to represent Le Croix in this elimination round, will he be eliminated or will he and his team survive?"

With Oliver and Aaron now facing one another, the platform separated and unveiled a stadium comprised of a long curving mountain road. A forested mountain sat on the right hand side of the road with toy motorcycles and cars on it, a river was flowing below the road.

"Wow, the Blue Ridge Parkway stadium, our bladers are going to have to do some fancy footwork to stay alive here."

Oliver swiftly readied his launcher, ripcord and beyblade and prepared to launch. Aaron was prompt to follow suit.

"3,2,1, let it rip!"

Upon hearing that command, Oliver and Aaron swiftly launched their blades onto the road.

"Unicolyon, attack!"

"Go, Rushing Boar!"

Unicolyon and Rushing Boar shot towards one another, they slammed hard when they met in the middle.

"Unicolyon, slam now!"

With a single slam, Unicolyon shoved Rushing Boar backwards.

"That's it, Unicolyon, keep it up!"

Seconds later, Unicolyon was ferociously attacking Rushing Boar, it struck fast and hard with heavy blows.

"That's the ticket, Unicolyon, finish him off now!"

Heeding Oliver's command, Unicolyon went in for another blow.

"Rushing Boar, counterattack!"

The door was slammed on Oliver's attack, Rushing Boar fiercely attacked back and slashed Unicolyon hard.

"Attack, Rushing Boar!"

Rushing Boar ferociously attacked Unicolyon, sparks flew as every blow connected.

"Keep attacking, Rushing Boar!"

It wasn't long before Rushing Boar was all over Unicolyon, every hit slammed it backwards and dealt horrible damage.

"That's the ticket, Rushing Boar, multi slam now!"

Unicolyon was being slammed backwards left, right and centre, each blow was harder than the last.

"That's the way, Rushing Boar, finish him now!"

Heavy damage was being dealt to Unicolyon, Rushing Boar was striking with hard and brutal blows. Sparks flew with every hit that it dealt and Unicolyon was hit harder every time.

From the stands, Cordelia couldn't bear to watch, she hid her face in her hands when she saw the beating Oliver was taking.

Oliver saw Cordelia in the corner of his eyes, and his eyes blazed. He dug deep into his beyblading spirit and called his attack.

"Unicolyon, Earth Shake!"

The huge white unicorn appeared, it whinnied loudly as it reared up and slammed its front hooves down. As this happened, the stadium shook and a new surge of power came to Unicolyon, it slammed Rushing Boar out of the stadium for six before returning to Oliver's open hand. Aaron sadly picked up Rushing Boar and Oliver approached him with his hand out.

"Oliver wins, the Majestics take the first round!"

"Thanks for a great battle, Aaron."

"Good luck in the finals, Oliver."

Seconds later, Cordelia ran down from the crown and flung her arms round Oliver's waist. Oliver wrapped his arm round her shoulders.

"You were amazing today, Oliver, I'm so proud of you!"

"Thank you, Cordelia."

Not long after this battle and Oliver and Cordelia separated, Johnny walked up to the now closed platform.

"Johnny is next to represent the Majestics, his Salamalyon bit beast is smoking hot with its Fire Rod attack!"

As soon as Johnny reached the platform, he waited for his opponent. Not long had passed before Mathilda made her way to meet him.

"Mathilda is stepping up for what could be Le Croix's final battle, can she save the team from elimination or will Le Croix be out of the tournament!"

As soon as Johnny and Mathilda were facing each other, the platform split again and revealed a stadium with lavish gardens and a huge chateau at the back.

"Wow, how regal, the Biltmore stadium, it gives of a very grand air for what could be an elimination today."

Johnny promptly readied his launcher, ripcord and beyblade and prepared to launch.

Upon seeing this, Mathilda followed suit and took her position opposite him.

"3,2,1, let it rip!"

Johnny was quick to launch Salamalyon into the stadium, Mathilda promptly followed suit with Pierce Hedgehog.

"Salamalyon, attack!"

"Go, Pierce Hedgehog!"

Salamalyon and Pierce Hedgehog shot down the green and slammed into one another.

"Salamalyon, slam now!"

With a single slam, Salamalyon shoved Pierce Hedgehog straight into the chateau, stone fell around it as it connected.

"Pierce Hedgehog, break free and attack!"

The rubble surrounding Pierce Hedgehog flew upwards and it zoomed in, striking Salamalyon back with a heavy blow.

"Go, Pierce Hedgehog, attack now!"

Pierce Hedgehog heeded Mathilda's command, it viciously attacked Salamalyon, striking with hard blows.

"Salamalyon, full power attack!"

Salamalyon ferociously attacked Pierce Hedgehog, momentum was now on Johnny's side once again.

"Keep up the attack, Salamalyon, multi slam now!"

In seconds, Salamalyon was hitting Pierce Hedgehog with powerful and heavy blows, each one knocked it back further.

"That's the ticket, Salamalyon, full force attack!"

Pierce Hedgehog was now being slammed around like a tennis ball, each blow was harder than the last.

"That's it, Salamalyon, keep on the offensive!"

"Pierce Hedgehog, counterattack!"

Pierce Hedgehog ferociously attacked Salamalyon with a mighty blow.

"Go, Pierce Hedgehog!"

In seconds, Pierce Hedgehog fiercely maintained a hard offensive on Salamalyon, it struck multiple times without easing off.

"Keep up the attack, Pierce Hedgehog!"

Pierce Hedgehog hit Salamalyon with heavy blows, each one harder than the last.

"Finish it off, Pierce Hedgehog!"

Pierce Hedgehog slammed Salamalyon backwards harder and more brutally than before.

"Salamalyon, counterattack!"

In the blink of an eye, Salamalyon hit Pierce Hedgehog with mighty blows that disoriented it and knocked it further back.

"Salamalyon, Fire Rod!"

Blazing fire surrounded Salamalyon and it slammed Pierce Hedgehog out of the stadium in a blazing shot before returning to Johnny's hand. Mathilda picked up Pierce Hedgehog and tearfully held it to her chest.

Johnny approached Mathilda with his hand out. She hesitantly stood up and shook it.

"Thanks for a great battle."

"You too, Johnny, good luck against the G-Revolutions in Japan!"

"Johnny wins the match, Le Croix are out of the tournament and the Majestics take the round and secure their place in the sudden death battle in Tokyo, Japan after which the winner will face the Blitzkrieg Boyz!"
