The next morning the women made their way upstairs. Opening the curtains and windows. Bayley and Carmella were getting ready for work. Addie didn't have school today.

"Do you want to wait till one of us is home to go with you?", her mom asked.

They had discussed going over to the guys house and asking why they went over.

"No, I can do it alone", Addie said.

Her mom nodded and left with her aunt Nikki. She made breakfast, when Carmella and Bayley came down.

"Nervous about having to talk to him?", Bayley asked.

"No. Why would I be?", Addie said.

Carmella and Bayley gave her a look as she served them and herself.

"Okay, maybe a little", Addie said.

"I wish there was a way of just forgetting them, you know, like they do us", Bayley said sadly.

Carmella rubbed her sister's back.

"Me too", Addie said.

After the girls finished eating, Addie went upstairs and took a shower. Standing in front of her closet, not knowing what to wear. It shouldn't have mattered, she wasn't trying to impress him. Maybe.

Grabbing a shirt and some shorts. She put her hair in. two french braids and made her way across the street. Walking up their porch steps and knocking on their door.

When no one answered she rang the door bell.

It opened to Roman, shirtless and sweating. He was breathing heavy and wiping his sweat.

He looked at her before looking up and down the street.

"You can relax, I didn't call the cops on you for breaking into our house", she said, crossing her arms over her chest.

He sighed.

"You ladies didn't answer your door when we knocked. We got worried", he shrugged.

"Why didn't you call for us when you broke in?", she asked.

"We didn't want you ladies freaking out", he said.

She rolled her eyes.

"How did you know we entered your house?", he asked.

"We have cameras", she said.

He nodded.

"Next time, just walk away", she said, turning to leave.

He grabbed her elbow to stop her.

"You can't blame us for being worried. Five single women living in one house alone. Any man can over power you", he said.

She roughly pulled her hand out of his grip.

"We aren't weak. We've been living like this for a long time. We can take care of ourselves", she snapped.

"I didn't mean that", he said.

"Yes you did. Look, just stay away from us. We won't bother you, if you don't bother us", she snapped.

Stepping back and realizing she was at the edge of the step. She fell back, hurting her ankle. Roman quickly went down the steps and bending down.

"How bad are you hurt?", he asked.

"My ankle", she hissed when she tried to move it.

He lifted it and she hissed again when he touched it.

"Its not broken. Might be just a sprain. Want me to take you to the emergency room?", he said.

"No", she said.

"Why not? It can be bad. I'm not a doctor remember.", he said.

"I'll call my mom, she can come and get me", she said.

"At least let me take you inside where you'll be more comfortable", he said, gesturing to his house.

She swallowed before nodding.

"I'm going to lift you", he said.

She nodded again. Feeling his hands lift her, she wrapped her arm around his shoulder.

He walked them inside and he set her on the couch, being careful with her ankle.

"I'm going to get you some ice", he said.

She nodded and pulled her phone out to call her mom. He left to the kitchen.

"Hey, how did the talk go?", she asked as she answered.

"Good. I might have sprained my ankle though", Addie said, looking at her ankle, it was starting to bruise.

"What?", her mom asked.

"Relax mom, I'm fine. Can you come and get me. I need a doctor to look at it", she said.

"Or you can use magic", her mom suggested.

Addie sighed.

"You know I don't anymore", she whispered.

"Why are you whispering?", her mom asked.

She couldn't exactly say who was in the room. Her mom caught on though.

"Is Roman at our house?", Brie asked.

"No, I'm at his. Can you just please come and get me. You can tease me later", Addie whispered.

"Okay, I'm on my way", she said.

Addie set her phone down. Roman had been watching and listening from the kitchen. He and the guys had also set up cameras.

He was hoping to catch her using magic to heal herself. Nothing. He grabbed the bag of ice and walked out. He handed it to her and she pressed it against the swelling ankle.

"Thank you", she said.

"Anytime", he replied.

She looked around. Noticing that they hardly had any decorations, but then again they were guys.

"All moved in?", she asked.

He nodded.

"Where exactly did you guys move here from?", she asked.

"Pensacola, Florida. It's where I was born and lived till...", he stopped.

"Till?", she asked gently.

"My parents were killed", he finished.

"Oh, I'm so sorry. I understand a little. My dad was killed, but that was so long ago. I wish he was still alive, he could have helped me with my problem", she said.

"I'm sorry too.", he said.

"So, you call them your brothers but I see no resemblance", she said with a smile.

He returned it and nodded.

"Yeah, we were adopted by this amazing family. They helped us get through our losses.", he said.

"Oh wow. That must be tough and they must be extraordinary people", she said.

He smiled and nodded.

"They are. I don't know what I would have done without them", he said.

"Well, I'm glad you ended up with a wonderful family. I can tell from your aura that you have a good heart", she said.

He could see himself falling for this woman, if it would have been a different time and place and not under the circumstances. He cleared his throat.

"Would you like something to drink?", he asked.

"Water, please", she said.

He nodded. Coming back with a cup of water with ice. When she reached out, he caught a glimpse of a tattoo.

"Is that the only one you have?", he asked.

She looked at her wrist.

"Yeah", she said, before taking a drink.

"May I, see it?", he asked.

"Sure", she said.

He wasn't a hunter, so he wouldn't really know what it was. Which was a sign of their coven.

He took her wrist. It was two capital Bs, back to back.

"What does it mean?", he asked.

His thumb gently running over it.

"Bella. My last name. My cousins and I have the same one. Our moms have them on their sides.", she said.

He nodded.

"Bella", he said.

She smiled and he found it pulling him in. She had to stop it. Clearing her throat.

"Do you have any?", she asked.

"What?", he asked.

"Tattoos, other than your arm that is", she said.

"Oh, um, just this one", he said, showing his arm.

Without thinking, she ran her fingers over it and over his shoulder.

"Addie", he said softly.

She met his eyes. He leaned in and kissed her. It felt so familiar. They pulled apart when someone knocked.

"I should get that", he said.

"You should", she nodded and pressed her fingers to her lips.

He cleared his throat and stood. Letting Brie in.

"Do you always answer the door shirtless?", she asked playfully.

He chuckled.

"I was actually working out before your daughter came over.", he said.

He quickly went to grab a shirt and put it on. He helped Addie to the car so Brie could take her.

"Thank you, Roman", Addie said.

He smiled.

"Anytime Addie", he replied, before closing her door.

He watched them drive off.
