Thank you to everybody who read or left kudos for the last chapter. You're lovely, and I appreciate it. Now onto Fashion Week part three. Wednesday is so chaotic that I had to break it apart. I took some of the chaos out of this chapter.

Chapter 74: NYC FW 2010: Part three

Wednesday, September 15, 2010, 12:43 AM

London Betty: Congratulations on your first fashion week as the guy in charge. FYI, Daniel and I sent flowers.

Marc: That's sweet. If they have arrived, I haven't seen them yet. It's been too crazy. Cliff is forcing me to eat right now. So that gives me time to check my text messages. I have to text Willie back next at some point.

London Betty: I'm sure she understands how chaotic the day of the show is. Usually, I wouldn't text you right now, but I wanted you to know that Lindsay emailed me. He wanted to know all about my friend "Mark."

Marc: Of course he did. If he's trying to steal me away, he can at least spell my name right.

London Betty: Half the time, he calls me Betsy.

Marc: Please send in your letter of resignation and be done with it. Just consider it an extended maternity leave. You could go back to school and work on your masters.

London Betty: I will not confirm or deny that I have a draft letter ready. However, I'm not quite prepared to give it to Lindsay yet. I can make it until January.

Marc: Trade dirt about me for release from your noncompete clause.

London Betty: I'm not sure how to do that. Besides, how do you know I haven't already spilled all?

Marc: Because you're Betty, and you wouldn't do that. And if you did, you wouldn't warn me first.

London Betty: Good point.

Marc: However, I am perfectly OK with being exploited to get you out of that contract.

London Betty: I'm uncomfortable doing that to any of my friends. Eat your lunch. Tell Cliff to send me pictures.

Marc: He will.

A little while later

The boyfriend: Hey, we're here. Sorry, I'm late. I had to do a second show—another junior writer left for Isabella.

Austin: Which makes no sense because everyone knows it's awful there.

The boyfriend: If you promise to pay the student loans off of a recent college graduate, they will put up with a lot of things.

Austin: You have a point. It's okay. We still have about 45 minutes until show time.

The boyfriend: That means I have time to eat something. Please tell me there's food.

Austin: Yes, Monique arrange for catering. There might be some food left. Check with Antonella. I'm currently taking care of Jamie and Jade because your mom drafted Skye to help with Monique's makeup. She did cosmetology in a previous career life.

The boyfriend: You are better at kids than applying eyeshadow.

Austin: I can do both. I swore I sent you pictures from our pretty princess party a couple of weeks ago.

The boyfriend: You did, but I assumed Antonella was responsible for baby Mo's makeup. I am glad to know you can help me with that.

Austin: I'm better at makeup than Antonella. I paid attention in acting camp. Once things settle, I'm going to do more theater classes. Viv has friends. You should join.

The boyfriend: Maybe. Your foster mom knows everybody in the Broadway community. This might be why Stephanie is putting backstage tours into our curriculum.

The boyfriend: I just found Antonella and the food. She saved me a salad and you a sandwich. Where are you?

Austin: I am in one of the dressing rooms. It may have been an office previously.

Austin: Or maybe a broom closet.

The boyfriend: OK, I'm coming to you.

Austin: Bless you. I'm starving.

The boyfriend: You're going to need to eat quickly. Cliff wants the babies in 10 minutes to do a shoot with mommy and daddy. Also, are they still wearing your aunt's work?

Austin: Miraculously, yes. We had a close call with some pears earlier. However, I'm a mess, so I hope I don't have to be in any of those pictures.

The boyfriend: Perfect. I'll get you a new shirt. I'd rather back up outfit that you can borrow.

Austin: You're the best.

Mercedes was exhausted by the time Monique's new assistant Ms. Sanchez brought her backstage. She saw her sister and nibling posing for the camera with Marc and Jade. Of course, Jamie started crying as soon as Mercedes was in view.

"OK, I think that's enough pictures for now," Justin said as Monique started to rock Jamie back and forth. Austin grabbed Jade from Marc, who was already starting to get fussy. "Cliff will send them to you, and then you can decide if you want to put them on the website or make them your family Christmas card this year."

"I vote for the family Christmas card, especially because Jamie is wearing a dress right now. That would piss daddy off." Which Mercedes really wants to do. He wanted nothing to do with Jamie before they were born because he couldn't get confirmation of a penis. Now he was using the child as a talking point, most likely to keep people from looking into the fact that he drugged his wife to get her pregnant.

"Breanna sent this. Jamie wanted to match their BFF again. For someone barely a month old, they have developed quite a sense of style." Monique stated as she passed Jamie to Mercedes. Now that they were with Mercedes, Jamie stopped crying.

"Hey, how did you get back here? We have security extra tight for reasons."

"Because Victoria is a psychopath." If only you knew how bad it was. "I'm surprised you agreed to let me come here and stay in the back."

"I felt safer with you with me. Besides, mom will be here soon." Monique commented. Mercedes decided this was not the time to correct that assumption.

"Mom told me how tight security was, so I called Ms. Sanchez first to bring me back here."

"Thank you for doing that." Monique smiled at her assistant.

"Glad to help. Speaking of Victoria, you should know that she gave me her business card earlier and said she was in the market for another assistant." Ms. Sanchez explained.

"Of course she is." Monique sighed. "We'll talk about that after the show."

"Which starts in about 12 minutes. I think it's time for the babies to go back." Justin told everyone.

"Sorry, the little one needs to return to Austin before we take our seats. You can have baby cuddle time after the show." At Monique's words, Mercedes handed the baby over to Austin.

"Austin, I'm holding you to that if not tonight, Saturday at mom's house. Mom invited us all for a celebratory family dinner on Saturday. Marc and Cliff, you're invited as well."

"We might be preoccupied with the move Saturday or recovering from sleep deprivation. But will try to make it." Cliff told the group.

"Did she invite Megan?" Monique asked.

"I did say family dinner. Mom adopted Cliff probably when you were in college." Mercedes joked.

"Point," her sister remarked as she waved to Jamie and Jade. Austin was already carrying the babies back to their hiding place. "Ruth, please send Megan a champagne basket to compensate for it. Also, a muffin basket for the team tomorrow. Work with the team at the deli."

"I will take care of it."

"I'm glad you could be here this year," Monique remarked.

"I'm glad to be here. Everything looks great." Mercedes pointed to several models walking around, preparing for the show to start soon.

"I had hardly anything to do with this. This was all the Mode team with Marc and Megan in charge." Her sister said humbly. "I was in the baby bubble at home."

"We followed your notes. Go out front with your sister. We have it back here." Marc pushed her to the door.

"I'm going. You're doing a good job."

"I hope so. My asthma inhaler hasn't popped out yet," Marc commented. "I consider that a good sign."

"We are all grateful for that. If you see Antonella, tell her we're upfront. She has a seat reserved.

"Will do," Cliff offered because Marc was already trying to fix someone's outfit.

"Is mom already sitting down?"

"Our lunch meeting went over. She sent me ahead."

"What happened at your meeting with Cal?" Her sister asked, but there was no way Mercedes would answer that question out loud. Instead, she pulled out her phone once they were seated a few moments later.

Xxx

Big sister: He knows. Mom is making it clear to him that there's no way Austin would ever want to live with him.

Big sister: I'm not even sure Austin would want to meet him.

Monique burn phone 1: Fuck. You're using my burn phone number. What the hell happened?

Big sister: The meeting was to talk about Austin and Tiffany. We all screwed up. First, Brianna accidentally sent him that message she wasn't supposed to. Then the ex-assistant told Cal that mom asked her to keep him away from Austin and that Austin's mom used to work for him.

Monique burn phone 1: That's not good at all.

Big sister: He wanted to talk to either mom or me about it. Since we weren't returning his phone calls, he hired a private investigator to track down Tiffany.

Monique burn phone 1: Please tell me that his team has found her sipping rum-flavored drinks somewhere.

Big sister: I wish. They can't find her either. There has been no movement on her phones or credit cards since she left Manhattan.

Monique burn phone 1: Shit!

Big sister: Brianna's investigators found the same thing. Including that the address we have for her is a future Hartley property opening next fall. They're looking into George now.

Monique burn phone 1: That's extremely not good.

Big sister: The investigator suggested cadaver dogs. That's when I left. We have a family meeting tonight.

Monique burn phone 1: Good call. Will Austin be at this meeting or something else?

Big sister: Hilda is hosting a sleepover, or at least she will once she reads mom's text. Mom wants to hold off on telling Austin anything until after the Black and white ball Friday night. Hopefully, the team will have more by then.

Monique burn phone 1: Am I sending Antonella for the sake of propriety?

Big sister: Freddy's going over, but Mo is staying with Jamie and Skye. Antonella could join either group. I need to invite Breanna, so Alexis Junior might end up with Jamie and baby Mo.

Monique burn phone 1: This is going to be a mess.

Xxx

Monique stopped texting when Brianna sat next to her and gave her a giant hug. Behind her was Jordan as her plus one. Jordan also hugged her once Brianna was done. She didn't care that it was not considered Fashion Week appropriate.

"I'm so happy you could come." Monique pulled out of her hug with Jordan.

"I am too. I was worried I would have too much to do with my show tomorrow, but the team has everything ready."

"I dragged her here. Besides, she's always looking for new talent for the label," Jordan explained.

"I believe in nurturing people. I wanted to give Alexis Junior and Senior quality time with Claire and Tyler. There are over at the apartment now." Brianna added.

"I'm not shocked that Claire chose the grandbaby over being here." Besides, Claire didn't need to be here if Monique was attending. Only one of the company's public owners needed to be there.

Technically, it was public knowledge that Matt has a minority stake, but Matt wasn't going anywhere near Victoria right now. She is still working with the lawyers to get the woman banned from the black and white ball Friday night, but it's probably not going to happen. Monique hopes she doesn't come after Matt or Cory after the article drops tomorrow. She has security on standby anyway. Ariel also promised to be on the watch and text her if anything went wrong at Player.

"Congratulations on your first fashion week show." Jordan offered.

"That will be February. This was all Marc and Megan, so I wanted them to be on stage." Monique explained.

"My sister is way too humble. I know she sent them tons of notes now that she's doing emails again." Mercedes commented.

"Just a few. Mostly related to the chaos Victoria has brought." As well as the designer that hits on a minor, but they don't need to know about that. Especially because the minor in question was Antonella, it would be a trigger for Mercedes anyway.

"Speaking of things my former sister-in-law is responsible for damaging, how did the meeting with my brother go?" Breanna asked. "Am I still having breakfast with him tomorrow?"

"You are. Also, family meeting at my mother's house tonight, and for these purposes, you're family. Your brother was invited; Austin was not." Mercedes told the group.

"It went so badly that he hasn't yelled at me in text message form yet."

"Yes," Mercedes answered, causing Breanna to groan.

"You should crosscheck Tiffany's address with upcoming Hartley group projects in Chicago," Monique suggested cryptically.

"I'm not going to like what I find?" Breanna asked.

"Probably not," Mercedes answered.

"Here comes Satan and the uncle," Jordan told the other three, looking very uncomfortable. Monique vaguely knew they had a bad relationship but didn't know all the details. Alexis Junior's godmother was an acquaintance at best to Monique.

"Jordan, I had no idea you would be in town for fashion week." Thankfully the man didn't try to hug his niece. "You haven't been here since that unfortunate incident with the ex-boyfriend."

"Ex-girlfriend." Jordan corrected. In the background, Monique could see Victoria becoming upset.

"Pleasant as always to see you, Lindsay. It was a last-minute change of plans. When the original star of my show had to leave due to family issues, I convinced Jordan to take her place." Breanna explained. Breanna did lose the star of her show last minute. Although it was because of an emergency trip to rehab, but they kept that out of the press.

"I completely forgot you would be up here for New York fashion week this year because of the recent purchase of Isabella. I am so sorry you're going to miss it since your pop-up show will be at the same time." From her tone, even Monique could tell she wasn't sorry at all. That familial relationship is definitely rocky.

"I am as well. We should have dinner before I go back Friday morning." Lindsay suggested. Monique was glad that Lindsay wouldn't be at the black-and-white ball. He was probably trying to get back in time for the start of London fashion week on Sunday.

"I have a few other engagements, but I'll call your assistant to see if we can work something out. Maybe we can squeeze in breakfast." By her tone, Monique was sure the woman would never be called. Thankfully they were all forced to take their seats for the show's start. Jordan's uncle and Victoria were across the runway.

Although Anna W. was now trying to convince Breanna to give Vogue the exclusive on her new wedding collection. She didn't care if Monique heard her. They weren't happy Breanna was on speaking terms with Mode again now that Wilhelmina was gone. although since Brianna isn't going to go anywhere near Isabella because of the new ownership, Vogue might benefit.

Justin: [six pictures attached]

DJ: Oh, the babies are so cute. I didn't know the babies were going to be at fashion week.

DJ: I am also shocked he had time to send me that.

Justin: I didn't either until I found them here with Austin when I returned from my two shows this morning. Mom had to call in Skye to help because she used to do cosmetology before.

DJ: Smart.

Justin: The show just started, so I'm in the eye of the storm back here. I'm just taking backstage shots. Antonella is upfront with Monique doing the live tweeting.

Justin: [Four images attached]

Justin: Charlotte wanted some backstage pictures. Since Cliff is busy, I decided to do it myself. Nothing is going up live because Marc wants to select images for my article.

DJ: That makes sense. I always found it more exciting back there.

Justin: One of the models broke their left shoe moments before hitting the runway. Cassandra switched the shoes out with five seconds to spare. She's amazing.

Justin: [image attached]

Justin: If you want to know what's happening on the runway, go to the Mode Twitter feed. Antonella is handling that. She's sitting with your stepmom right now.

DJ: Checking now.

DJ: I'm glad the outfits don't look ridiculous. Antonella texted me pictures that she's not tweeting.

Justin: We tried. It was a miracle because we kept losing designers.

DJ:?

Justin: I'll explain later. Too busy now.

DJ: Is this related to Monique wanting to stab my stepmom's former sister-in-law with a butter knife?

Justin: Yes.

DJ: My stepmother and Mercedes also want to stab her, per Antonella. However, she's not entirely sure why.

Justin: There are reasons. Victoria Hartley is your grandparents on steroids but more psychotic.

Justin: That fucking bitch. I knew she was going to do something ridiculous like that.

DJ: What happened? Antonella stopped tweeting. I assume the show was over.

Justin: Go to the Fashion TV Website.

DJ: Baise!

Justin: Yep, it's chaos. Monique is with Marc and Cliff. Your stepmom is with security. Mercedes is with me, Austin, and the babies. Mercedes still wants to stab Vicki with a knife. This might be why there are currently two security guards standing with us.

DJ: Don't read the article.

Justin: Too late. This happened like 10 minutes ago, and an article is up.

DJ: It's easy to have an article up this quickly if they knew what was going to happen.

Justin: She would. I'm on cleanup duty. I'll text you more later. I want to know if the grandparents have been in contact again.

DJ: Not since I changed my phone number.

Justin: Because you didn't give it to them?

DJ: That's why I got a new number. They have to go through Daniel now.

Slightly earlier

During the Mode showcase, Monique tried not to think that there was a good chance that the woman sitting across from her had Tiffany murdered. Monique was trying to imagine that Tiffany had just disappeared to live her best life with her husband somewhere other than Chicago. But it was impossible to do so. For Tiffany, anyway. Monique could absolutely see George getting paid off to kill his wife and then moving to Honduras to avoid prosecution.

All she wanted to do was go over there and punch the woman out, but she couldn't do that. She wouldn't give Victoria the satisfaction of getting her arrested. The only person that was getting arrested was Victoria. Monique would make sure that happened by whatever means necessary.

Despite her dark thoughts, the show went smoothly. Marc did a good job hosting. They were now at the end, where Marc brought all the designers up on stage to take a bow. Antonella was next to her, taking shots with her phone. Because Fashion TV kept stealing their stuff off the Twitter feed, they're doing limited images. She knows Antonella is texting them to DJ and probably Austin. Justin would be too busy to look.

However, they agreed to immediately post one of all the designers from the show's end. Antonella will also do a blog post on each designer individually in addition to the regular article. It was part of her efforts to keep more designers from going to Isabella. Also, per Stephanie, she needed to give the kids more substantive assignments.

As Antonella took some shots, a woman with a bouquet and a large envelope approached the stage.

"Oh, that's so sweet you got him flowers. He deserves all the flowers." Breanna commented.

"It wasn't me. It could be flowers from Daniel and Betty. Although I told Daniel to have them sent to the office." Monique explained.

"I think that was more than flowers. Do you see the envelope? That seems similar to when the ex-husband ambushed me with the custody papers a few weeks ago. He did it in a morning board meeting to be an ass. The process server could've waited until afterward." Monique told the group.

"Oh, you know he told them to do that. Just so mom would give him more money to make him go away." Monique commented.

"Instead, Chad triggered the wrath of the entire legal team." Chad will be lucky to have anything once the lawyers are done with him.

"That is definitely a process server. Because my former sister-in-law can't stop smiling like the Joker." Breanna whispered to Jordan, but Monique still heard her.

"She's definitely crazy like the Joker." Monique sighed. "I have damage control to do."

"I'll tell Aunt Tamika to contact security," Antonella tells her.

"Thank you."

Xxxx

When working, Cliff tends to stay in the creative zone. Unfortunately, it took Cliff a moment to realize that the person handing his boy–his co-parent flowers was a process server. Thankfully both Megan and Monique were on stage. Megan took over the final part of the show, and Monique handed Marc over to Cliff as she escorted the process server to security.

"Is that from your mother?" Cliff asked once they were in one of the dressing rooms. He has no idea which one.

"I think that's what it is but last time I was sued, they didn't give me flowers. Or gave it to me during the middle of Fashion Week." Marc commented as he gave the envelope to Cliff.

"There are also not supposed to resort to stuff like this until exhausting all other possibilities," Cliff commented as he read through the papers.

"Yes, she's suing us for custody. Just you technically. She's trying to argue I have no rights." That alone pissed Cliff off.

"Of course, she did this." Marc sighed. "She loves drama. She would absolutely serve me papers during Fashion Week. Although you think her lawyers would've pointed out that you have more parental rights than Jody currently."

"Would she listen to the lawyers if they told her that?" Cliff asked, pointedly.

"Honestly, no. That's not something my mother would acknowledge."

"Or Victoria and her fingerprints are all over this," Cliff commented just as Monique arrived.

"Honestly, I'm happy she just snuck in a process server, not something worse. Don't worry. Breanna and security are taking care of her."

"Did security remove Victoria?" Cliff asked.

"No. But I wish they would have since the process server used Daniel and Betty's flowers." Cliff is not surprised by Monique's revelation.

"I am so sorry the show got ruined," Marc told Monique.

"Nothing was ruined. We got through the entire show. Also, we're getting a lot of press from this from the non-fashion media. It's going to be great. This is going to completely backfire on Victoria." Monique stated just as Marc's phone pinged. Of course, Marc looked at it, and Cliff regrets that.

"Contrary to what they say, not all publicity is good publicity. I just got a Google alert regarding the article about it. I am the horrible monster, keeping my daughter away from her grandmother."

"Well, if she wants to play this game, we can just let the press know what a monster she is," Monique suggested angrily. "I have media friends other than Byron. If you want, I can have everybody know why you have a restraining order against the monster in 10 minutes."

"I don't want this to become public knowledge. It's why I took the deal with Jade's mother." Marc's biggest fear is that in 10 years, Jade will be able to Google all of this and know how crazy her family is.

"Even though she should be in jail for rape," Monique remarked.

"I agreed to have sex with her," Marc argued.

"Under coercion. In New York, that's considered sexual assault." Monique fought back.

"It's not the time for this discussion."

"I will take care of damage control with the magazine. But let me know if I can go to war with Mommy Weiner. I have a lot of experience dealing with asshole parents and wars of public opinion."

"Monique really does." Which is because her father is horrible. Thankfully most people have taken Monique sighed. However, some of the same people feel she should've picked a gender for Jamie. Not wait for Jamie to decide later on.

"You're supposed to still be on maternity leave until Sunday." Marc sighed.

"Things change like the escalating war with Victoria Hartley. I'm coming back tomorrow, so you can have the morning off to deal with the lawyers or just hang out with the little one. This is the least problematic thing I have to deal with right now."

"What else is going on?" Cliff asked, concerned.

"We are having a meeting at my mother's house tonight. You are now invited. Hilda and Bobby are watching all the kids. I'm going to need Skye for this too."

"Will the lawyers be there?" Cliff asked.

"Possibly. One of our private investigators will be there anyway. Look, I know you wanted to keep this in the family, but..." Monique started.

"Victoria is making this very public." Cliff finished for her.

"Yes."

"Give us some time to talk about it. We will let you know our decision tonight." Cliff stated before Marc could respond.

"Okay, I'm going to go to give you too some time. Do you want me to have Austin bring Jade over?" Monique asked. "Mercedes is with him right now with a bunch of security."

"Yeah, we need our baby," Cliff answered. Monique nodded and then shut the door behind her as she left. Marc was looking at his phone, obviously reading the article from Fashion TV.

"You shouldn't be reading that." Cliff placed his hand on the screen.

"I do if I need to come up with some sort of response." Cliff gave up and let Marc continue reading. "She conveniently forgot to mention that she disowned me four years ago and didn't even bother talking to me until I had a child. She also refused to acknowledge that you exist. But she thinks I should marry Jody because that's what she did with my dad. Nice to know that my parents only got married because the condom broke." Marc said darkly.

"She did mention me but only to say that our relationship isn't real." This pissed Cliff off because it was much more real than what led to Jade's conception. Jody manipulated Marc to get back at him for the breakup in the supposed name of their friendship. If Jody really were Cliff's friend, she wouldn't have done that.

"She's not wrong there," Marc sighed.

"She absolutely is. Do you love me?" Cliff asked, already knowing the answer.

"Yes," Marc answered, and Cliff entwined their fingers. "I'm not going to lie about that."

"A couple of weeks ago, you told me you had no desire to pull one of the waiters into the bathroom."

"I still don't. I haven't had sex with anybody since my disastrous ex that we don't speak of back in June. And I don't want there to be anyone else. I know I don't deserve another chance, but…"

"I'm giving you one anyway." Cliff finished for him. "Our relationship isn't fake. We're just taking time to get where we need to go."

"Except for all the kissing in public." That's been happening a lot more, along with handholding.

"I'm not a saint."

"Yes, you are, Mr. St. Paul. I don't know how you would put up with me otherwise." Marc joked.

"I wouldn't agree to raise Jade with you if I didn't love you. I still do and have for a long time. That love did not go away just because you broke my heart." Cliff confessed.

"I'm sorry." Marc apologized again.

"But I think these last few months, it's been healing." Cliff acknowledged.

"I don't want to mess things up or lose you again. It's not just you and me this time. It's you, me, and our baby daughter. I would've locked the door already if it were just us." Marc explained.

"I feel the same way, including the locking the door part. But I think we went wrong last time because we didn't tell each other we were afraid. Where much better at talking to one another."

"Last time, I wouldn't have told you how bad the situation was with my mom. I don't want to deal with her at all. I don't get why she's doing this. Is she only going after Jade because Victoria is paying her off, or does she care about Jade? Or is she doing this to get back at me for not being the son she wanted me to be?"

"I'm not entirely sure what the answer is. It could be a combination of all three. What would be easier for you?" Cliff asked, leaning into Marc.

"I don't know because if she cares about Jade, does that mean she still cares about me? Or does she still want me to be her perfect, happy, hetero-passing son again? I don't know. Maybe it would be easier if it was just about money. I can understand that." Cliff placed an arm around Marc as they heard a knock at the door.

"I brought Jade for you," Austin said, handing the baby to the couple. (There's no use in not using that word anymore.)

"Is that a different dress?" Cliff asked. He distinctly remembers her wearing something that wasn't black.

"Yes. You might want to consider different diapers. I hope that outfit was washable. You owe me a new shirt and pants. I'm wearing Justin's backup outfit." Austin answered.

"It looks good on you. I will hand Justin money and let him pick out replacement clothes." Marc sighed again. "Maybe we shouldn't put designer outfits on Jade while she still in diapers."

"Unless we're letting Victoria hold the baby." Austin joked.

"Like I'm going to let that happen."

"I am supposed to let you know that Jade can come to Hilda's house, or she can stay with you guys for the family meeting I am not allowed to attend. Megan is going to be the magazine rep at the Vogue party."

"You rather sit around and talk lawyer strategy with us then spend quality time with your boyfriend?" Marc asked.

"Valid point. I will see Jade in the morning." Austin waved goodbye to the little girl.

"We didn't tell you what we were going to do yet," Marc remarked.

"Of course, you're going to keep Jade with you." Austin closed the door behind him.

"He's not wrong. I want to be with both of you right now." Marc held them both closer to him.

"We're not going anywhere," Cliff kissed his daughter and Marc on the forehead. Mommy Weiner wasn't taking either away from him.

To be continued

Yes, there are glaciers faster than Marc and Cliff, but they're working on it.

A few notes, I'm borrowing from the back story I created for Jordan from Alex Suarez. Jordan's mom was a wealthy British socialite who got kicked out of the family for getting pregnant by the wrong guy. She came to America with nothing and rebuilt her life, becoming one of the top cardiologists at the Cleveland clinic. Once Jordan became famous, the family on that side of the pond tried to get back into her good graces. However, Jordan knows better.
