They seemed so normal to the guys. No witchy stuff what so ever. The food was delicious to top it off.
"So, what made guys want to move to Salem?", Brie asked, serving more wine.
"My job and the fact that a relative left us that house.", Roman said.
"Wow, free house. Sounds pretty sweet to me.", Nikki smiled, before sipping her wine.
"It is. Buying a home is so expensive. We decided to accept it and fix it up the way we want", Seth replied.
"I'm happy for you boys", Brie nodded.
"And your parents, or I mean, adopted parents?", Nikki asked.
"They live in Florida.", Roman replied.
"Wow, what a difference", Bayley said.
"It is, but we like a challenge", Dean smiled.
He winked at Carmella. She bit her lip and blushed.
"Well, it seems you boys know what you want. That's good.", Brie nodded.
"True, but sometimes things and people come to you by surprise.", Roman said, looking at Addie.
She smiled.
"The best surprises come when you least expect them", Brie agreed, nodding.
"This food is great by the way", Dean commented.
"Well thank you, we've spent years trying to master so many recipes", Nikki replied, before taking a sip of her wine.
Brie giggled nervously when the guys looked at each other confused.
"She means to say we've only cooked certain dishes because our girls are picky eaters sometimes", Brie corrected.
"Our mom would say the same thing about us", Seth replied.
"Hey what do you say we move our date up to tonight? Once we are done eating. Your moms can come too", Dean suggested.
"That sounds great, but Nikki and I will skip. Its been awhile since we've had the house to ourselves", Brie said.
"Alright. Girls, what do you say?", Dean asked.
"I'm in", Carmella replied.
"Same", Bayley nodded with a huge smile on her face.
They all looked at Addie. She bit her lip before looking at her mom. Brie smiled and nodded. Then she looked at Roman.
"What do you say Addie?", he asked.
"I'm in too", she replied.
"Great, sounds like a damn good night to me", Dean said, standing.
Seth and Roman followed.
"Dinner was amazing", Seth said.
Mella and Bayley stood too. Addie followed.
"I'm going to get my jacket", Carmella said, making her way up to her room.
"Keep our girls safe and we want them back in one piece", Nikki said.
"Promise, not a hair out of place", Seth said.
Carmella came back down with her jacket on and two in her hands. One for Bayley and the other for Addie.
Brie walked over to her daughter.
"Please have fun. Don't worry about anything else but that", Brie said.
"I'll try. I just don't want something to happen while we are out and they see", Addie whispered.
"I know, but tonight is about your happiness", Brie added.
"I know that too. I'm just scared. This Roman doesn't know who I am. He's going to run for the hills", Addie replied.
"He won't. He didn't each of the other times", Brie said.
"Addie", both women turned to see Roman holding his hand out.
Brie nudged her daughter towards the man who held her daughter's heart.
"Have fun you two", Brie said.
Addie took his hand and they walked out.
"If its okay, I want to take my truck. Your cousins will go with my brothers in Dean's car", Roman said.
"Its fine, I trust you", she smiled.
She waited by his truck while he went to get his keys and locked up his house. He held the door open for her as she climbed in. He walked around to his side as shw admired it.
"I like your truck", she said, as he got into it.
He smiled.
"Thanks. It was an expensive purchase, but worth it", he replied.
She was a bit nervous. Music played as they drove to the bowling alley.
"I'm going to have to warn you, I'm bad at bowling", he said, a big smile on his face.
"Just have fun with it", Addie replied.
"Just stay ten feet away from me when I have the ball in my hands", he chuckled.
She laughed.
"Wow like that", she replied.
"You have no idea. I bet Dean and Seth are going to warn you too.", he added.
She laughed. He looked over at her and smiled. Her laugh was the best.
Nikki brought her sister another glass of wine before sitting beside her.
"I'm worried too. She could float again. We don't even know how she's doing it or what caused it", Nikki said, knowing her sister was thinking the same thing.
"I hope Trish gets back to us soon", Brie replied.
She took a sip of her wine.
"Maybe we need tequila instead", Nikki suggested.
Brie laughed and nodded.
"I couldn't agree more", she replied.
Her sister stood and went back into the kitchen. Brie sat back. Maybe being near Roman was a bad idea. He did cause her to float.
"Wrong", Nikki said, coming back into the room with a bottle.
"I hate that you can read my mind", Brie replied.
Nikki opened the bottle and poured them each a shot.
"I know, me too, but it comes in handy", Nikki replied.
Brie nodded, agreeing.
"Anyway, she didn't float because she was around him. She did it after she left him. For all we know he's helping her powers grow.", Nikki added.
"How so?", Brie asked.
"She stopped using her gifts because she blamed being a witch on losing him. Maybe letting him in and actually wanting to use her powers is making them stronger", Nikki said.
"Because they've been dormant for so long", Brie said, catching on.
Nikki nodded.
"Bray did say she was stronger than any of us knows", Nikki reminded.
"Stronger than the elder witches?", Brie asked.
"That I don't know, but she could be. I mean, he's fixated on her and only her. He could have had any elder witch", Nikki said.
Brie nodded.
"We call Trish again tomorrow. We need to figure this out before things get worse", Brie said.
Nikki nodded and handed her sister a shot glass.
"Cheers to probably the most powerful witch to exist", Nikki said.
They clinked their glasses together before tossing the drinks back. Each gagging before pouring another.
They decided on boys verses girls. Which the boys regretted since they were losing, again.
They ordered a pizza in case they got hungry and a pitcher of beer.
"Yes, one more and we win.", Carmella said, finding her seat beside Dean.
"Again", Bayley added.
Addie grabbed a ball and got ready. Releasing the ball, she knocked down all the pins.
"Damn", Dean said.
"Sorry", Addie shrugged with a smile.
Roman stood and hugged her.
"If Roman could just keep the ball in his hands till they move forward", Seth chuckled.
"Hey, its been awhile since we've gone bowling", Roman defended.
Addie stood on her toes and kissed his cheek. He smiled.
"I didn't think I would be hungry after eating dinner", Carmella said, eating another slice.
"Winning will make you hungry", Addie said.
Roman squeezed her sides and she giggled.
"You're lucky you're cute", he whispered, kissing her neck.
Addie looked up and saw Alexa watching them. She tilted her head.
"Hey, I'll be back. Don't start another game without me.", she said, before making her way to the bathroom.
She sent a warning to her cousins, both turning to look at her.
" Need backup?", Carmella asked.
Addie shook her head no and Carmella nodded. Walking in, Alexa was leaning back against the wall. Their eyes met.
"What?", Addie asked.
Alexa pushed herself off the wall, uncrossing her arms.
"He knows your powers are growing. He'll be coming for you soon", Alexa said.
"So, he does that all the time. This time is no different. Its no.", Addie said.
"Have your powers gotten stronger?", Alexa asked.
"No", Addie lied.
"Adelaide, I'm serious. If they did…", Addie cut her off.
"I'm not scared of him", Addie shouted.
Alexa shook her head.
"You should be", she said, before walking out.
It did worry Addie because she didn't know what Bray was up too. This was also the first time Alexa asked about her powers and decided to warn her about Bray.
She followed after her. Getting into the hall, Alexa stood there, smirk on her face.
"I'm doing this for Roman. To keep him safe", Addie said.
"That's why I'm doing this too", she replied.
Addie rolled her eyes.
"But I know he doesn't want me. I want to break this curse too. Watching him choose you over and over again. It sucks", Alexa said.
Addie sighed.
"Come over to my house tomorrow", Addie said.
Alexa nodded. Addie made her way back to her group. Roman smiled and wrapped his arms around her.
"Everything okay?", he asked.
She nodded and kissed him.
