Roman drove as quickly as he could to his parents house. Parking his car, he calmed himself down. They couldn't know that he wanted the house for Thea or they would never agree to giving it to him.

He grabbed his book bag. He didn't remember much from his lawyer days, but they did tell him that he graduated from Harvard. He decided on signing back up for school to refresh his brain. After speaking to a few of the staff and Dean of the school, they agreed to let him sit in Tues. and Wed. to relearn everything.

He did have to fly and attend those classes, flying back the same night. The professors emailing him new assignments and allowing him to turn in his work by email.

Walking into the house with his bag, his mom smiled at him.

"Hi sweetie", she said.

He smiled.

"Hey mom", he said, leaning down to kiss her cheek.

He looked around the living room and down the hall.

"Where's dad?", he asked.

"Taking care of business, you know him", she said.

Roman nodded.

"Dean told me that the house I use to live in is for sale. Something about Thea moving out", he said, setting his bag down on the counter.

He wanted to see if she was going to lie to him or be truthful. She nodded.

"Poor thing couldn't afford it anymore so she moved out", his mom said.

He shook his head lightly. She had just lied to him and it didn't even seem like she felt bad for doing it. Dean and Nia were right, they were trying to keep him away from Thea.

"So, are you guys selling it or can I buy it? Dean's apartment is too small and honestly a house would work for us, we won't want to kill each other having so much space", he said.

His mom laughed softly.

"Your dad is in his office talking to Dwayne, maybe you guys can work something out right now", she said.

Roman nodded and walked towards his dad's office. Knocking before walking in. Both men smiled and his dad gestured him in.

"Mom said you were in here and there's something I want to talk to you about", Roman said.

His dad nodded and Roman shut the door behind himself.

"So what's up?", his dad asked.

Dwayne was going to excuse himself.

"No, Dwayne, I'm glad you're here actually", Roman said.

Dwayne sat back down.

"Dean told me Thea moved out of the house. I was thinking that maybe you can give it to me. Dean's apartment is too small and honestly, the house would be great and I don't know, maybe it will help me remember a few things. Especially law school, because I really don't want to keep going to classes.", he said.

His dad and Dwayne laughed.

"Sure, the house is yours", his dad said, tossing him the keys.

Roman caught them.

"Actually, what I meant by giving me the house, I meant actually giving me the house", he said.

"The house payments are expensive", his dad said.

"Hunter's letting me work beside him and paying me well. Dean makes good money, he'll be able to help.", Roman said.

"You really want Dean as a roommate, he can barely keep his apartment clean", his dad said, chuckling.

Dwayne laughed.

"I know, trust me, but like I said, we need the room", Roman said.

His dad nodded, Dwayne took out his laptop and turned it on. He hooked it up to his dad's printer and printed out the forms he needed.

He handed them to Sika, who signed them and then to Roman. He shook both men's hands before putting the paperwork away.

"I'll have these confirmed and approved by the bank, I'll send you both copies", Dwayne said.

"Congratulations son, you are now a home owner", his dad said.

Roman nodded. He couldn't tell his dad that Dean wasn't going to be his only roommate. Thea and his daughter were also going to be living with him, along with her sister. The house has more than enough rooms.

"Thanks dad", Roman said.

He stood to walk out.

"Where are you going?", his dad asked.

"To tell Dean the good news, I mean, he might be a little pissed I bought a house without him but he, he'll learn to love it", Roman said.

His dad laughed.

"Just don't kill each other, you're brothers", his dad said.

Roman nodded and walked out. Getting outside, Dwayne was leaning back against his car, his expensive glasses reflected his face.

"We both know you aren't moving Dean in, so who is she?", his cousin asked.

"Dean is moving in", Roman said.

"And who else?", he asked.

Roman swallowed and looked back at his parents house, before looking back at his cousin.

"Thea", Dwayne said.

Roman sighed.

"Don't tell my dad or mom, they'll take the house back before it's officially mine and she has nowhere else to go. Her daughter, she's mine man", Roman said.

Dwayne removed his glasses.

"What?", he asked.

Roman nodded.

"She found out the same day I had my accident, and she didn't want to overwhelm me with the news.", he said.

Dwayne nodded.

"I wouldn't blame her either, keeping it a secret. Your parents would have probably tried to take that little girl from her", Dwayne said.

Roman wouldn't deny that either.

"She has nowhere else to go, and even if that little girl wasn't mine, I'd still want the house for her", Roman said.

Dwayne nodded.

"I won't say anything, but be careful, as soon as the paperwork is in I'll let you know.", Dwayne said.

Roman nodded and hugged his cousin.

"Thank you Dwayne", Roman said.

Dwayne left and Roman climbed into his car as well. Driving back to the house, his house. Everyone was inside, the cop was gone.

Walking in, they were making dinner. Hearing all the voices and laughter, the delicious smell of the food had him smiling. This felt familiar, this cozy and warm feeling was familiar his mind told him.

Walking into the kitchen, Thea was mixing something, while Renee was making a salad. Brie was helping his daughter set cookie dough on metal sheets. Dean was watching and smiling, pulling out cups and plates. Seth was grabbing the drinks from the fridge.

Roman leaned against the wall and smiled, his heart was beating fast. This is the family he's always dreamt of having, she had given him that. Looking back at her, he was determined to fall in love with her again, he wanted it all back, everything he forgot.

"Hey you're back", Dean said.

Everyone finally turned to notice him. He walked in and nodded.

"Yeah. Spoke to my parents and this house is officially in my name. You don't have to move, in fact, Dean and I are your new roommates, we'll pay rent and do our part around here, if that's okay", Roman said to Thea.

Thea smiled and looked at Brie. Brie smiled and shrugged.

"Its up to you", she said.

Thea looked back at Roman.

"Okay", she said.

He nodded.

"This also gives me a chance to get to know Joey.", he said, his eyes on the adorable little girl.

Thea noticed the way Roman watched their little girl.

"Its sticky aunt Brie", Joey said, giggling.

"Okay, this trey is done, let's get them in the oven", Brie said.

Joey nodded and watched Brie open the oven and push the trey to the back.

"Joey, go wash your hands please, dinner is ready", Thea said.

Joey jumped down off the stool and walked over to Roman.

"Daddy, can you help me?", Joey asked, as she looked up at him.

Everyone stayed quiet, and watched carefully. Roman looked over at Thea.

"May I?", he asked.

"You don't have to ask Roman, she's half yours", Thea said.

Roman nodded and followed Joey out of the kitchen and down the hall to the bathroom.

Roman flipped the switch to the light. He lifted Joey up and turned the water on.

"So um, do you go to school tomorrow?", Roman asked.

"No, I stay with my aunt Renee when mommy is at work. Then when my aunt Renee goes to work, she drops me off with my aunt Nikki. I'm done daddy", Joey said.

Roman nodded and set her down, she walked over to the towel that was hanging on the rack and dried her hands.

"Joey", he said.

Her adorable little face looked over at him.

"I don't have school tomorrow or work, would you like to hang out with me?", he asked.

Her little eyes lit up and she jumped up and down.

"Yes daddy, yes", she said excited.

Truth was, he was just as excited. He wanted to get to know his little girl.

"Let me talk to mommy, okay", he said.

She nodded.

He knew he should have asked Thea first before he told Joey, but she did say Joey was half his, so that meant he was allowed to spend time with her.

Seth and Dean were sitting around the table as Renee set their plates down. Brie set Joey's down and another plate.

"Roman, that's yours", she said.

He nodded and sat, Joey smiled at him. The girls joined the table soon after. Thea sitting beside Joey.

Roman cleared his throat.

"Um, Thea", he said.

She looked over at him.

"I was wondering if I could have Joey tomorrow. I would like to get to know her and spend some time with her", he said.

"I guess that would be okay, you aren't busy tomorrow?", she said.

Roman shook his head no.

"Okay, sure", Thea said.

Roman smiled and winked at Joey, who smiled at him.
