Nattie kept her smile on her face.

"Sorry, I forgot. My name's Nattie, I'm a friend of your, Thea's", she said.

He shook her hand.

"Of course.", he said.

Nattie put her attention on Joey.

"Hi sweetheart", Nattie said.

Joey buried her face in her father's neck.

"You two are in luck, the kids have an assembly right now and they'll be there for a few minutes. You two can sneak into mommy's class", Nattie said to Joey.

Nattie told Roman what class room it was and he followed the numbers on the doors.

Joey pointed to one and Roman realized that was Thea's class. He opened the door with his free hand.

"Mommy", Joey said excited.

Thea looked over, she was in here with a man. He was dressed nicely.

Roman didn't like seeing someone else in here with her. He eyed the man before walking over to Thea.

"Hey, what are you doing here?", she asked, taking Joey from his arms.

She kissed her daughter's head.

"She missed you and so we brought lunch", Roman said, removing the backpack from his back.

"A backpack?", Thea asked.

He nodded, his eyes still on the man. Thea noticed.

"Oh I'm sorry, Xavier this is my, Roman, this is Roman.", Thea said.

She had wanted to say my husband. He held his hand out to Roman. Roman accepted it.

"Xavier Woods, I just started working here, my class is next door", he explained.

Roman nodded.

"Well, I'll leave you three alone. Thanks again Thea for your help", Xavier said.

"No problem", Thea said as Xavier walked out.

Roman opened the backpack and removed the bags of food. Another bag had three bottles of soda.

"What did you guys do today?", Thea asked Joey.

"Daddy took me to Sea World", Joey said.

"Did you have fun?", Thea asked with a smile.

Joey nodded happily. Roman set the food out. Thea cradled Joey, his daughter's little eyelids fluttered.

"She kept asking for you", Roman said softly.

He sat across from her.

"Yeah, she does that when she's sleepy. If she wakes up before I get home, please make sure she eats", Thea said.

Roman nodded before he bit into his hamburger.

"That Xavier guy, is he married?", Roman asked.

Thea popped a fry into her mouth and nodded.

"Has two kids, one being Joey's age.", she said.

"Can I ask you another question and keep in mind that you don't have to answer it if I crossed a line", he said.

Thea squinted at him and he laughed.

"Have you dated anyone since…", he stopped.

"No", She answered quickly.

His eyes looked down at his food, feeling guilty that he has dated.

"Don't feel bad, you have every right to date someone else. It was just a little harder for me", she said.

Roman still felt guilty. He needed to change the subject.

"You told me we met at the fair?", he asked.

Thea looked up at him, Joey had fallen asleep in her arms.

"Yeah", she said.

"Want me to win you that bear?", Seth had asked Renee.

"Please, you can't shoot to save your own life", Thea teased her brother.

Seth stepped up to her and she crossed her arms over her chest. Renee laughed.

"Oh really?", he asked.

Thea shrugged.

"I'll show you, step up to the plate little sister. Loser buys dinner", Seth said.

"My money is on Thea", Renee said.

"Hey", Seth said.

Renee shrugged.

Roman and Dean were walking down the street, looking at all the game booths.

"Damn, look at that", Dean said, turning to watch the girl walk away.

Roman shook his head. He was leaving at the end of the summer, having a job lined up in New York.

He heard a guy and girl making a bet by the shooting game. He found the girl to be absolutely beautiful, deciding now that she would be his summer fling.

He handed Dean his drink and his brother made a face. Walking over to the last gun available.

The young woman looked over at him, eyes connecting.

"Hi", he said.

"Hello", she said, before looking forward again.

Once the bell rang, they started shooting. Having to fill up the little tank at the bottom.

Roman's alarm went off on top of his, announcing him the winner.

Thea looked at Seth.

"I filled mine more than yours, I win", he heard her say.

He would have thought they were dating if he hadn't seen the guy wrap his arm around the blonde.

"Fine, dinner is on me", the guy said, rolling his eyes.

They handed Roman the stuffed panda bear. He cleared his throat and moved beside his conquest.

All three looked over at him. His brother watched from behind with a smirk on his face. He knew what Roman was doing.

"This is for you. My name's Roman..", she cut him off.

"No thanks", Thea said, pushing the bear back to him.

"I insist, please", Roman said.

She looked from him to the bear. She sighed and reached for it. Taking it in her arms.

"Thank you", she said.

They all started walking away, the guy with her was watching him.

"I didn't get your name", he said.

"Thea Rollins", she said.

He nodded.

"Roman Reigns", he said.

She smiled at him. He was cute, she wasn't going to deny that.

"You came by yourself?", she asked.

"My little brother is around here somewhere", he said, looking around, knowing very well Dean was behind them.

She stopped.

"You let a child walk around alone?", she asked.

"Oh no, he's younger than me but not a kid, I should have said that", he said.

She nodded.

"And you?", he asked.

"My brother and his soon to be wife", she said.

"Third wheel huh", he said.

She laughed softly.

"Looks like it", she said.

"So, are you from here or out of town?", he asked.

"Yeah, just moved back actually", she said.

He nodded.

"Boyfriend?", he asked.

She chuckled.

"Look I appreciate you giving me the bear, but I'm not looking for a one night stand or fling. If this is all that is, walk away, take the bear back", Thea said.

"Ouch", he said.

Thea kept walking. Dean caught up to his brother and slapped his back.

"Denied?", Dean asked.

"Not for long", Roman smirked.

She watched the blonde drag the guy towards the ferris wheel. Thea slowly in step behind them. Laughing at her brother.

"Dude, why waste your time. There are plenty of easy ones around here", Dean said.

"But I want that one", Roman said.

Dean rolled his eyes. Roman noticed Thea get into one of the seats. He ran and jumped over the rails. Leaving a ticket with the guy, taking the seat beside Thea.

"Oh my God, what the hell", she said.

He sighed.

"You need someone to ride with", he said, shrugging.

She sighed.

"Your brother is giving me the death glare", he said.

Seth was in front of them. Thea laughed softly.

"I like your laugh", he said.

Thea raised a brow at him. He nodded.

"If I can make you laugh, you have to go out on a date with me", he said.

"I don't think so", she said.

"Come on, one joke", he said.

She met his eyes and nodded.

"Okay, how many tickles does it take to make an octopus laugh?", he asked.

She shrugged.

"Ten tickles", he said.

She laughed and it made his heart speed up.

"That's the corniest joke I've ever heard", she said.

"But it made you laugh", he said.

She nodded.

"Okay, how about this. We go back to that shooting game and if I win, you let me take you out. One date", Roman said.

"One?", she asked.

He nodded. She didn't know what it was about him, but she would take the chance to find out.

"Okay", she said.

He smiled.

"And you can ask Dean if you don't believe me", she said.

Roman met her eyes.

"I believe you", he said.

The door to her room opened and a line of kids walked in. He stood and took Joey from her.

"We'll see you at home", Roman said.

Thea nodded.

"Home", she said softly.
