Roman got to his parents house. He didn't know what he was going to say, all he knew was that he wasn't going to let them talk him out of this. He walked in and found them talking in his dad's office. His cousin Dwayne with them.
His mom looked at his dad.
"Your mother told me what has been going on", his dad said.
"And what was it that she told you?", Roman asked, taking the seat next to his cousin.
"That you were with that woman, the same one who ruined your life. Then she's telling you she had your child. Son, she wasn't pregnant when you got into your accident, we would have known", his dad said.
"Or she could have been scared that you would try to take our daughter from her", he replied back.
"She's a liar son. She's trying to keep you from your full potential", his dad said.
"Why would she do that?", he asked.
"Because she's just a school teacher, barely making ends meat. She couldn't even keep up with the house payments and her other bills", his dad said.
"If this was about money, don't you think she would have let me stay at the firm instead of making up false accusation like you say she is? I would have been making way more than her and she wouldn't need to work. She could have kept her mouth shut, but she didn't because that man thought it was okay to put his hands on her", Roman said.
"And what would you know about what happened? You lost your memory", his mom said.
"Dean filled me in. I might have lost a few of my memories, but I trust him to tell me the truth. I would have spoken to him about this and I did.", Roman said.
"I want a test done on the child. I need to know for sure", his dad said.
"Her name is Joey and I know she's mine. Whether you believe her or not", Roman said.
Roman stood.
"What about Ric Flair's offer? The new one he made", his mom asked.
"After finding out what that man did, I don't know if I want to work for him. I have to think about it", Roman said.
"You lost your memory son. It was a blessing in disguise. A new fresh start without her to stop you", his dad said.
"A blessing?", he asked.
His parents nodded.
"I don't believe that, because then that means I lost time with my child. I wasn't there for Thea when she needed me. That's not a blessing", Roman said.
He left their house and drove home. Getting there, he walked in and was met with loud noises and talking. He smiled and walked into the dining room.
"Hey, he's back. Food's ready, serve up", Dean said.
Roman nodded and Thea handed him a plate. He placed fries, sloppy joe's on his plate, and sat down beside his daughter. Thea and Brie joined them next.
"Joey was just telling us about you taking her to Sea World", Brie said.
"Yeah, I figured she would enjoy it. By the time we finished the park, she was half asleep", Roman said.
"Hey, you lasted a whole day with her without pulling your hair out. So pats on the back for you", Dean said.
Everyone laughed.
"Hey, my kid is not a monster", Roman said, before leaning over and kissing his daughter's cheek.
Joey smiled at him. He looked at Thea.
"Who watches Joey for you? I have to go to school tomorrow", Roman said.
"Oh, um, I guess it would be Renee. Brie works tomorrow", Thea said.
"I love aunt Renee", Joey said, mouth full.
Roman chuckled. After dinner, Roman was helping Thea clean up the kitchen.
"So, my parents know about Joey now", Roman said.
Thea looked over her shoulder at him.
"Oh", she said.
"They want me to do a paternity test. I told them there was no need for it, but well you probably know how they are by now", Roman said.
Thea nodded.
"Yeah. Trust me, even if you didn't lose your memory, they would want me to do one.", she said.
He felt so bad.
"I know she's mine. I don't need the proof", he said.
"We can do it, but on our own. I'm sorry, but I don't trust your family with this. I hate to say it because they are your family, but I don't want them changing the results or something", she said.
"After what I learned today, I don't think I trust them either", he replied.
She met his eyes.
"I can talk to Joey's doctor about it", Thea said.
He nodded.
"Wait, what do you mean after what you learned today?", she asked.
"Dean told me about what happened with Ric Flair", he said.
"Oh", she said, looking down at her hands.
"That situation wasn't your fault. He is a grown ass man who should have known better. I'm sorry you had to go through that.", he said.
"Well then Dean must have told you that you handled it, right", she said.
He chuckled.
"Yeah, he deserved it", Roman said.
He moved closer to her. She was getting more nervous.
"He also told me what happened that night, between us", he said softly.
"Yeah, it, happened", she didn't know what else to say to that.
Suddenly the doorbell rang. She jumped away from him.
"Doorbell", she almost shouted, quickly walking out of the kitchen to answer the door.
Roman chuckled to himself. He was starting to see what attracted him to her and kept him coming back. She was sweet and shy, but also not afraid to call you out on your shit. Thea opened the door and Randy stood there.
"Hi", she said, confused.
"Hey, your brother said that, well, I've been...", he didn't know what to say.
"My brother?", she asked.
"See, he and I have kept in touch. He told me about your divorce and I feel a little embarrassed admitting that I've been asking about you and if you're ready to start dating. He met me last night and gave me the green light. So, I hope this isn't too forward because we hardly know each other, but, would you like to go out on a date?", he asked.
Thea had forgotten that Seth wanted to set them up.
"When?", Dean asked, behind her.
She turned to look at him.
"Oh, is this...", Randy stopped.
Dean held his hand out to him.
"Her brother in law, I'm with her sister Brie", Dean said.
"Oh the twin", Randy said.
Dean nodded and glanced at Thea.
"If you don't mind me butting in, how about we make this a double date. You two and Brie and I", Dean said.
"I wouldn't mind that", Randy said.
"Then it's a double date", Dean said.
Randy nodded and looked at Thea.
"I'll see you guys tomorrow night then", Randy said.
Before Thea could say anything, Dean answered for her.
"Yup, tomorrow", Dean said, before closing the door.
"I don't get a say in this?", she asked.
"And what's your say?", Roman asked, behind her.
She jumped at the sound of his voice. She looked at him.
"I'll leave you two to talk", Dean said.
"I don't know. You being back in my life and, I don't know. I mean, not that you are actually back in my life in a way", she said.
Roman nodded.
"I dated, but then again I don't remember our life together. I feel like its important for you to go out on this date. Don't worry about me and don't worry about Joey. Try to enjoy yourself.", he said.
"How do you feel about this?", she asked.
"I don't feel anything, Thea. I'm sorry, I know that's what worries you", he said.
"Right, I forgot", she said, hurt.
"I didn't mean to make you sad. Its just, I feel good that you are Joey's mom. You're a good friend to me, to my brother, but I don't feel, that. I don't feel what you want me to feel", Roman said.
"I don't want you to feel anything, Roman. I stopped hoping for that after I saw you with your first girlfriend.", Thea said, before walking away from him.
He sighed. Dean walked over to him.
"Why did you lie? You are starting to feel something, I saw that look on your face as soon as you heard him ask her out", Dean whispered.
"Because she needs to know if she can be happy with someone else. What if I can't give her what we once had, Dean? I need to figure out what pulled me to her in the first place and what made me stay.", Roman whispered back.
"And what if she falls in love with this guy and then you remember? That would hurt her way more", Dean said.
He walked away from Roman. Roman walked up to his room and stopped by Thea's door. He wanted to knock to talk to her, but he thought it would be better to give her some space. He got to his room and closed the door. He grabbed one of the dvds and put it in.
"Thea", Roman said.
She was asleep in bed and naked. They had been dating eight months now.
"Baby, I made you breakfast", he whispered, camera still on her.
She moaned and smiled, he kissed her shoulder.
"Good morning", she said softly.
"Morning beautiful", he replied.
She turned to see the camera and laughed softly before hiding under the covers.
"Why so early?", she asked.
"Because, I need to capture your beauty before another man catches your eye and I lose you", he said.
She removed the covers from her head and laughed. He leaned down and kissed her.
"Lets make a sex tape", he said.
"Stop", she said.
He laughed at her blush.
"Just a little peak", he said, lowering the covers.
He could see the top of her breasts. His hand moved down and squeezed one. She bit her lip.
"No one else is going to see this, I promise you. Trust me?", he asked.
She nodded. He reconnected their lips before joining her under the covers. He set the camera on the bedside table. Only catching their top halves.
"Roman", she moaned.
Her eyes closed as his fingers worked their magic on her. He removed his shorts and tossed them aside, almost knocking the camera over. Thea laughed and he smiled. He kissed her chin.
"Laugh at me", he said, tickling her.
She laughed harder.
"Stop, I thought you wanted to make a sex tape. There's no tickling in a sex tape", she laughed harder.
"And how would you know? Is there another sex tape out there with you in it?", he asked.
"No", she laughed.
"I love hearing you laugh", he said, brushing her hair behind her ear.
She kissed him. He pushed himself into her.
"Thea", he whispered.
She dug her nails into his back.
"I love you", he whispered.
He pulled away to look down at her.
"I love you too", she replied.
He connected their lips, before pulling away and reaching over to the camera. Shutting it off.
He grabbed the case where the dvd was in. He read what he wrote. First I Love You. He stood and pulled the dvd out before walking to Thea's door. He knocked and she answered. Her hair was wet and she smelled good. He cleared his throat before lifting the dvd.
She quickly blushed before taking it from him.
"I forgot about that one", she said.
He couldn't help his smirk and she blushed even more.
"I don't do that sort of stuff, okay, I trusted you", she said.
"I know", he said.
"Did you watch the whole thing?", she asked.
He nodded.
"You know what, let me look through that box before you watch anything else", she said, walking towards his room.
He followed her.
"No, that's cheating me", he said.
"Of what? My body?", she asked.
"Yeah", he said.
She swatted his arm and he laughed. Getting to his room, she saw the box on his bed and reached for it. He wrapped his arms around her from behind and took the box.
"Nope", he said.
She reached up for it, their bodies pressed together. He tossed the box on his bed and quickly wrapped his arms around her. His body quickly reacted to her. He connected their lips.
"Hey Rome", Dean stopped when he saw them.
Thea quickly pulled away from Roman.
"Goodnight", she said, before quickly taking off to her room.
Roman licked his lips before looking at Dean.
"Hello to you too", Dean said, pointing to Roman's bottom half.
He looked down and noticed, grabbing a pillow and covering himself.
"Don't worry, my lips are sealed, brother", Dean said, winking at him.
