Thea was taking the extra food inside. The kids wanted to watch a movie. The adults didn't mind as long as it helped the kids fall asleep faster.

"So how do you think it went?", Roman asked.

Thea smiled.

"Pretty good. I told you, you always got along with my siblings. Same with Dean.", Thea replied.

Roman filled the dishwasher with dirty dishes.

"I know, but things could change.", he shrugged.

"True", she nodded.

"You really want to do the paternity test?", he asked, leaning against the counter and crossing his arms over his chest.

She nodded.

"I know you believe me, Dean too. I mean, he was there the day she was born", Thea said.

Roman swallowed. He wished he was there.

"Can you tell me about it?", he asked softly.

"Of course", she smiled.

It was two in the morning when Thea couldn't seem to get comfortable. She kept tossing and turning. Finally feeling a sharp pain.

She sat up.

"Brie", she screamed for her sister.

Breathing through the contractions.

"Brie", she called again, finally standing.

The door to her room opened and Brie looked terrified.

"Baby?", her sister asked.

Thea nodded.

"Okay, I'm going to call Seth and Renee. Also Nikki and Austin", Brie said quickly.

"Don't forget Dean", Thea shouted after her.

Brie froze before nodding. She and Dean had called things off. She hadn't spoken to him since.

"B?", Thea said.

"I'll call him", Brie said.

Thea changed and grabbed her baby bag. Stopping in the hall to breathe. Brie was beside her in a second.

"Let me know when you can walk", Brie said gently.

"Did you call them?", Thea asked.

"I called Seth and he said he would make the rounds. My focus needs to be on you", Brie said.

"Brie, Dean needs to be there. If Roman can't, at least she will have Dean", Thea said.

Brie nodded. Once she helped Thea downstairs to the car, Brie ran back in and grabbed her phone.

She hadn't told Seth to call him, but her sister wanted him there. Finding his name, she hit call.

"Hello?", he answered groggy.

"Hey, just wanted to let you know, Thea is in labor. She wants you there for the baby", Brie explained.

"Really? What hospital? Of course I want to be there", Dean said quickly.

She could hear shuffling on his end.

"Cedar", she replied.

"Okay, I'm on my way.", he said.

"See you there", she replied.

"Hey Brie, thanks for letting me know.", he said, before hanging up.

She quickly locked up and ran to the car. Thea was taking deep breaths.

Once at the hospital, they took Thea to a private room. Austin had volunteered to stay with all the kids. Not feeling the need to crowd his sister in law's room till the baby was actually here, besides someone had to stay with the kids.

There was a gentle knock at her door, Seth stood to answer it.

"Hey man, come on in", Seth said.

"Did I miss it? Is she here yet?", Dean asked, making his way to Thea.

"Not yet, uncle Dean, but close", Thea smiled.

He kissed the side of her head. The doctor came in and smiled at Dean.

"Are you the father?", he asked.

Dean shook his head no.

"But he wishes he was here right now", Dean replied.

Thea smiled at him and shed a tear. She wished he was here too.

"Alright, looks like she's ready.", the doctor said.

Renee, Nikki, and Brie were going to be the ones in with her.

"Good luck", Dean said.

Seth and Dean watched as they wheeled her out.

"I wish your brother was here too. He always wanted to be a dad and he's so good with kids", Seth said.

Dean nodded, and as if he knew they were talking about him, Roman called.

"Hey brother, what's up?", Dean asked.

"Where are you? I came home from mom and dad's and you were gone", Roman said.

"Yeah, I had a thing come up. It was important", Dean said.

"Are you with a chick?", Roman asked.

I mean, he kind of was.

"Man, I am sorry. Do your thing, I'll see you tomorrow when you do the walk of shame", Roman said with a chuckle.

They hung up and Seth looked at him.

"Apart of me wants to tell him, but I know he's going to freak. He'll go to my parents and, Thea doesn't need that right now", Dean said.

"We all wanted to tell him, but Thea and the baby were more important. Your parents would have stopped at nothing to hurt my sister", Seth said.

"I know", Dean nodded.

"She was a cute baby if I do say so myself", Dean said.

Roman and Thea looked towards him.

"Where was I?", Roman asked.

"Mom and dad's for his birthday dinner. Something about celebrating early because he and mom were going on vacation. I opted out, wasn't feeling it", Dean said.

"Because we had broken up before that", Brie said.

Dean nodded.

"That's right, Summer wanted me to stay longer because she wanted to discuss my options for a firm.", Roman said.

Dean nodded.

"Renee filmed Joey's birth and when they weighed her, cleaned her up.", Thea said.

"I would like to see it", he smiled.

He would have rather been there in person, but there was nothing he could do about it.

His phone rang and seeing his mom's name flash. He sighed and rubbed his eyes.

"Oh, I know that look. Its fine, answer it, we will be in the living room with the kids", Thea said.

He waited till they all left.

"Hi mom", he answered.

"Roman, we would like it if you brought your daughter over to visit with us", she said.

"I would have to discuss it with her mom first, but I'm sure it would be fine", Roman said.

His mom stayed quiet before clearing her throat.

"Of course, her mom", his mom said.

"If you're only going to put Thea down in front of my kid, the answer is no. I will not have you talking bad about her in front of Joey", Roman said.

"We won't say a bad thing", his mom replied.

"Alright, I'm sure Thea will say its fine, but let me make sure. I'll let you know tomorrow", Roman said.

"Alright son. Hope to see you and Joey tomorrow", his mom said.

They hung up and Roman sighed. Making his way into the living room, the little kids were fast asleep. Joey was in Thea's lap and as soon as he sat beside her, Joey crawled into his.

He kissed the top of her head as her little eyes closed. He cleared his throat.

"So, my mom asked if I could take Joey over tomorrow", he whispered.

Thea looked at him.

"Can I?", he asked.

She bit her lip.

"If you say no, I will understand. I know she's my kid too, but if you aren't comfortable with it then its no", Roman added.

"I mean, you won't leave her side, right?", she asked.

"Of course not, and if it will make you more comfortable, I will ask Dean to be there", Roman said.

"It would help", she replied.

"Then okay.", Roman smiled.

All he wanted was for Thea to feel comfortable and not worry all day about their daughter.

"Okay. I trust you", she replied.

He leaned over and kissed the side of Thea's head. Which caught her off guard, but she enjoyed it.
