Thea didn't know how she was going to get through this lunch. She knew the woman hated her. She was sure his mom was going to try to pay her off, but no amount of money would ever make her leave Roman.

She sighed before getting off her car and walking inside. She was dressed in jeans and a tank top. Her hair in a messy bun. Looking around the room, she was underdressed.

"Great", she mumbled.

"Are you looking for someone?", the hostess asked.

"Yes, a Mrs. Reigns?", Thea asked.

The hostess smiled and grabbed a menu as she walked Thea to the table. She noticed his mom sigh before standing.

"Hello, Thea", she said.

Thea leaned in and kissed her cheek before sitting down.

"Can I get you something to drink?", the waiter asked once he walked over.

"Oh um, just water is fine. Thank you", she replied.

He nodded before walking away. Thea looked at her future mother in law.

"So, my son tells me you've picked a date", she started.

Thea nodded.

"Yes. We decided on December. I've always thought a winter wedding would be cute.", Thea replied.

"Small wedding I'm assuming", she said.

"More like just our close family and friends. Not really into big weddings", Thea replied.

His mom nodded.

"Was there someone you wanted to invite? I don't mind, and I know Roman wouldn't either", Thea replied.

"More than someone, but its fine. You two want a small wedding", his mom said.

Thea didn't like her tone of voice.

"I can always talk to Roman about a big wedding", Thea shrugged.

His mom smiled.

"Its just, we have such a big family", his mom said.

"Right. Let me talk to Roman", Thea said.

"Its fine, I will talk to him. Obviously we will help pay for the wedding, since I'm sure your side well, can barely afford it", she said.

Thea forced a smile.

Thea was smiling all day at work. She couldn't wait for tonight. Nattie nudged her during lunch.

"What is with the smile? I mean, not that I'm complaining because we haven't seen you smile like that in so long.", she said.

Thea turned to face her better.

"Roman and I are going on a date. He wants to try", Thea replied.

"That's great. I'm sure he's going to remember why and how much he loves you.", Nattie said.

"You don't think I'm getting my hopes up? So many things could go wrong", Thea said.

"Don't think that way", Nattie said.

Thea nodded.

Brie arrived home before everyone else, or so she thought. Roman's truck was parked in the driveway. She got off her car and noticed Roman was still in his.

He looked confused or lost to her.

She walked over and he didn't seem to notice. She tapped his window and he jumped before turning to her and putting his window down.

"Hey, sorry. I was…", he stopped, he didn't really know what he was doing.

He didn't remember.

"You were going to get dinner and ice cream for Thea", Brie said softly.

He looked at her.

"That's it. How did you know that? I didn't even know that.", he said, excited that someone had finally figured it out for him.

"How do you know I'm right?", she asked.

"I don't know, but it feels right", he said.

She smiled before walking around the truck and getting into the passenger side.

"The night of your accident, Thea had just finished telling you she was pregnant. You showered, hopped in your truck and went to get dinner and ice cream.", Brie said.

He nodded.

"Thea told me. I didn't know that's what this was. I always felt like I was forgetting something, but no one could ever tell me what", he replied.

Brie smiled.

"Dean told us one night that we shouldn't be surprised to find you sitting in your truck one day. When he told us it seemed like you forgot something, I put two and two together. I'm sure Thea did too.", Brie said.

"Can I tell her? I would like it if she heard it from me", he said.

"Of course", she replied.

It felt like a weight had been lifted. It bugged him to no end that he couldn't remember why he was sitting in his truck, forgetting where he was going.

"Thea let me leave Joey with my parents for today. Want to come with me and pick her up?", he asked.

"Yes, of course", Brie replied.

Roman nodded and drove to his parents place.

"Were you and I close?", he asked.

Brie giggled and nodded.

"We were. Mostly because we always double dated. My sister, your brother. We all just got along so well.", Brie replied.

He nodded with a smile.

"I know she's your sister and there's some type of code, but…", Brie cut him off.

"She's excited for tonight. It didn't work out with Randy, so you don't have to worry there.", Brie said.

He chuckled.

"Thanks", he said.

"Of course, brother", she replied.

Sitting at a light, an idea popped into his head.

"Hey, what if I get the dinner and ice cream I owe her? That's when I can tell her", Roman said.

Brie nodded.

"That is a great idea. She's going to be so excited", Brie said.

He nodded with a smiled before he drove.

"Did you sleep with any of the women you dated after my sister?", Brie asked.

Roman's mouth opened to answer, but he couldn't.

"We figured you did. She's not mad about it. Sad, but not mad", Brie said.

"It was only one woman. Sasha, but only because I dated her a little longer than the other three", he explained.

Brie nodded.

"Your mom finally did it", Brie mumbled.

He looked over at her.

"What does that mean?", he asked.

Brie sighed.

"Your mom has been trying to get you and her together from the second they met my sister. You even admitted to Thea that you went out on a date with Sasha while you were seeing her", Brie explained.

"Let me guess, I only did it to get my mom off my back about it?", he asked.

Brie nodded.

"Pretty much.", she replied.

"And obviously your sister forgave me", he added.

"Yes, because right after you dropped off Sasha, you came over to our apartment. Slept on our couch when my sister told you to leave. You explained to her the next morning why you did it", Brie said.

"This is why I want to remember her. She's so different, she changed me for the better", he replied.

Brie smiled.

"You told her that too", she said.

"Baby please, nothing more happened. It was just a date. If you come out or let me in, I can explain it all", Roman said, knocking on Thea's bedroom door.

Brie had let him in. Thea had hugged and kissed him before he told her where he was tonight.

She didn't say anything, just turned and walked back to her room, slamming the door behind her.

"T, baby, please", Roman said.

Roman sighed and sat beside her door.

"She doesn't mean anything to me. You do, you mean more than you know. You've done so much for me. I was never a one woman man, but you, I am for you.", he said.

His phone rang, Sasha's name popped up and he ended the call before he blocked her number.

"I was an asshole before you. Used my last name to get what I wanted. I was spoiled and used people to benefit me and me alone.", he added.

He waited a moment before knocking again.

"Baby girl, please. Open the door for me and let me explain why. Please", he sighed.

The light in her room turned off. He stood.

"I'm gonna keep coming back till you hear me out. See you tomorrow", he said, before walking out of the hall.

Brie handed him a pillow and a blanket.

"Couch isn't really comfortable, but if you really want to talk to her, you'll stay", Brie said.

"Was going to sleep in my truck, but the couch is way better", he said.

"See you in the morning", she replied.

Roman made himself comfortable on the couch. He hoped Thea would hear him out after she had time to think.

Thea woke up the next morning and made her way to the kitchen to make coffee. She stopped when she saw Roman on their couch.

It was a sight, since he didn't fit on their couch. She walked over and his arm shot out, wrapping around her waist.

She gasped.

"Gonna talk to me now?", he asked.

"Wait in my room, I need coffee", she sighed.

He kissed her cheek before standing and going to her room. When she met him, she sat beside him.

"My parents kept pushing and pushing, I wanted them to stop. Dinner was quick, I dropped her off at her place and I came straight here to tell you about it and why", he explained.

"You didn't have too go out with her", Thea mumbled.

"I know, but my parents and the pressure. I always crack and I need to learn not too.", he said.

She nodded.

"Forgive me, beautiful", he whispered.

She met his eyes and nodded.

"You go out with anyone else or her again, I'm done", she made clear.

He nodded before kissing her cheek.

"You're my one and only", he said.

"Good", she replied, before pressing her lips against his.

"Did he tell you what he has planned for tonight?", Thea asked, after Brie told her she and Roman went to pick up Joey at his parents house.

"He might have, but I am not telling you.", Brie replied.

"But you're my sister", Thea reminded.

"And he's my brother. Sorry", Brie shrugged.

Thea sighed. If Brie didn't want to tell her then that meant that it was going to be a good night.

"So, Dean and I are taking Joey to the movies then dinner. The house is all yours", Brie said, wiggling her brow.

"So the date is here at the house. Interesting", Thea said.

Brie giggled.

"Just enjoy. Trust me, you're going to love it", Brie said, before leaving the room.

She was going to enjoy it.
